Kagome n kikyo literally always hit the spot. This person has your soul n body, but rightfully, she inherited them and these things are no longer yours, attempting to repossess them poisons you. The power that you worked so hard and forewent all the connections and little joys of a normal life to cultivate are hers effortlessly. The position that giving all this secured for you is hers. The boy you gave your life nd future and place in this community for is hers.

You have another persons body n soul. The boy that youd give that life for is in love w her. The reason that you even have him and the life with your dearest connections is because of how deeply her soul desired to be with him again as she took her final breath. Your powers, your only means of defense and the reason you can even right all these evils you come across, are hers, passed onto you in diminished form. This person, who you can't even call ½ your soul, or your soulmate, as the whole thing was hers originally, is evil now. She cuts down the innocent to extend her own unnatural existence. There is no respect for any life- yours, the boy she supposedly loves, innocent women's- excepting her own. She will cut down all that stand between her and retribution for her death. You are a copy of this person.

I’m surprised that not a lot of Inuyasha fans talk about this specific screenshot of Inuyasha in the Final Act.

I can’t even imagine the emotions that must be going through his head at this moment. To have been separated from the love of your life for 3 years, never knowing if she’d return. To go to the well every 3 days in hopes that she might come back, but meeting an empty well every time. Every day, a little more hope is lost until one day…. one day he finally senses her presence.

You can only imagine how nervous and anxious Inuyasha must be feeling. Seeing the sweat on his face, the look in his eyes, it says it all. He has been waiting so long for this opportunity, to the point he didn’t know whether it would actually happen or not. For it to now be happening right before his eyes, he’s in a state of shock, disbelief, anxiousness, and excitement. I would give to hear all the thoughts going inside his head at this moment.

The reunion of Inuyasha and Kagome is by far one of my favorite moments in anime history.

I really feel like Inuyasha was written like a D&D session, like it's half dumb character interactions and the plot is mostly 'and then another thing happens' like a DM just throwing monsters at a party realizing they let the players become overpowered way too quickly
