Dating Luca (The Bear Headcanon)

Content warnings: kinda smutty 18+ only, explicit language, there's fluff too :)

A/N: Idc how much screen time Luca got, he has a whole personality in my head LMAO 😩 I hope you guys enjoy more Luca content! Let’s start with the fluffffff 😊

I feel like most of the reason we all love Luca (aside from the fact that Will Poulter plays him) is that he’s so gentle (but have you guys heard the term Stern Brunch Daddy?)

Let’s say you’re not very good at baking, doesn’t matter because he’s fully committed to teaching you. He will literally start with something as basic as baking a cookie from scratch and later making more complex desserts. It doesn’t even matter how long it takes because he just enjoys being around you :’)

Speaking of spending time together, Luca’s love language is defffff quality time.

When he spoke about learning from the chef who was much better than him (Carmy??) it made me think about how much he would enjoy just being around the person he loves. Whether you’re baking, watching a movie, or even napping together, the pair of you are like magnets.

He shares his love of food with you every chance he gets (he wants to combine two of his greatest loves 😭)

Going out to dinner with a chef is always a unique experience, but no matter what he’s letting you choose the restaurant (if he has to choose he'll just wind up cooking something for you at home since he can make it better anyways)

Thinking about how he’d definitely bake a birthday cake for you, spending hours on it because it needs to be perfect 😪 (he could bake a cake in his sleep but this isn’t just ANY cake)

He asks you to sample everything whenever he's coming up with a new menu item, he trusts your judgement and knows you'll be honest with him

When he’s working late, he tells you not to wait up for him (much to your displeasure) but every morning, you wake up to a new dessert in the fridge 🥺

He’s been doing it since you moved in together just because he knows it makes you smile (he’ll even leave little notes behind, sometimes silly, sometimes super sappy) you eat it up regardless

Now for the smutty stuff 😈

In the beginning of your relationship, Luca is SUUUPER shy. Like to the point that you have to literally spell it out that you want him to make a move.

Like Carmy, he doesn’t really have much time for socializing, so he might miss the cues that you throw at him.

The first time Luca spends the night at your apartment, he’s sure he’s going to pass out on like three different occasions

1. When you open the door, you’re wearing a satin robe that leaves very little to the imagination (He’s hard before he even sits down)

2. You’re baking together in the kitchen, taking every opportunity to bend over and "grab a mixing bowl", flashing your lacy thong in the process.

3. When you move into your bedroom because you’re getting “tired”, you ask him to unhook your bra for you, making a show of sliding the robe down your shoulders. And whoops! It just so happens to fall to the floor. 🤗

By that point, you’re done with the subliminals, pushing your ass back, feeling him straining against his jeans. For a moment, he doesn’t know what to do with his hands (it’d be adorable if you weren’t painfully horny rn)

“Luca, you can touch my boobs if you want to, I swear I won’t mind,” you playfully tease him, shifting into a sigh when his hands immediately connect with your sensitive nipples.

That’s actually how the both of you found out that manhandling is one of the quickest ways to turn you on

So, my idea is to have Charles dating a younger and hyperfeminine Black Reader. The backstory is pretty simple: Charles and the famous reader have been an item for a while now. She's this super girly and bubbly person who's all about pastels, cute stuff, and beauty/fashion 🦢🧸🪷. Charles is head over heels for her. They even make videos like "my boyfriend's voiceover on my makeup routine" and "rating my outfits," where he showers her with praise in his casual and dominant way, showing attention to details and asking if she's comfortable with the content. That word triggers her and perhaps, after Charles gently confronts her, an argument unfolds (I love a good old hurt/comfort 😩) and she manages to anger him by saying that if she looks like his exes maybe he’ll actually fuck her/ find her attractive ( oop- 🙃). Unbeknownst to her, she has innocently and obliviously been driving Charles crazy making himself hold back from ruining her. I go by she/he/they. Call me what you want I don't mind. It changes day by day for me in the real world, but my friends and family don't know that.

I'm in my 30's but have the maturity of a teenager unless I'm in parent mode when I have to pretend to be a grown-up (It does not last long!).

a/n: anyone who knows me knows how i feel about timothée so thank you to @halaxxx, i had so much fun writing this and getting to incorporate my two fav things!

being a model isn’t as glitzy and glamorous as people think it is. It’s a cutthroat industry but for whatever reason, you were lucky enough to have landed in an agency that you loved and book shoots that were exciting.

today was one of those days.

you were handpicked to shoot with timothée chalamet for his upcoming ‘calvins or nothing’ campaign. you were a huge fan of films so you’ve seen most of his work and loved them. you were told to keep a tight lip on the shoot because of timothée’s high profile so all you could tell ben chilwell, aka your boyfriend of 9 months, was that you were doing an underwear shoot. you might have left out the part that you’d be photographed with another man but there was no point in telling him since you couldn’t even tell him who it was.

at least that’s how you were trying to rationalize it in your head. truth is you didn’t want him to be worried about something he shouldn’t be. this comes with the job and sometimes it isn’t the ideal situation but it has been and always will be strictly professional.

you walked on set wearing your cover-up, just a simple bathrobe, before making your way to timothée who stood by himself scrolling through his phone. there was no way you were gonna spend the next hour with this guy being basically naked and not introduce yourself. he was already topless and in his jeans with his calvin briefs showing.

“sorry to bother,” you began. “my name is y/n. i just wanted to introduce myself before we started the shoot.”

his green eyes flicked up from his phone and in one motion he locked it, shoved it in his back pocket and stuck out his hand. “yes, hi! i’m timothée but you can call me timmy if you want.”

you shook his hand and smiled. “it’s nice to finally meet you! i love your films, especially your latest one, bones and all? it was phenomenal.”

he began shaking his head, his loose curls moving freely. “enough enough,” he nervously chuckled.

“no, i mean it! me and my boyfriend were sobbing at the end of it. you ever seen a professional footballer cry at a film? it’s the funniest thing,” you laugh. yes, you had to make sure you subtly dropped the b-word in case the frenchman had any funny ideas.

“oh that’s sick! not the crying part but the boyfriend being a football player. what club does he play for?”

“chelsea,” you answered with a proud smile.

“you’re lying!” timothée eyes widened. “dude, that’s my team! who is it?!”

you couldn’t help but giggle at his reaction. “It’s ben chilwell.”

“ah, what a guy!”

“i know!” you sighed with content. “hey! you should totally come to a game whenever you’re back in the city. ben would love you!”

“i think i’d have a fangirl moment,” he whispered jokingly.

it was then that the photographer announced that she was ready and turned on loud pop music. you took off your robe and handed it to an assistant behind the camera. the only clothing item you adorned was a white calvin klein underwear. this shoot was probably the most revealing one you’ve ever done but breaking the ice with timothée earlier took the edge off a little.

you and timothée stood against a grey backdrop and the photographer started firing off instructions.

“closer together please!”

“yes! timothée, put your arm around y/n!”

“y/n, press yourself against him!”

you moved closer and put your boobs against timothée’s bare chest with only your nipple pasties creating a thin barrier.

you snaked your arms around his torso and arched your back the tiniest bit. “you can put your hand on my lower back,” you whispered.

“oh, okay,” he moved his hand to your lower back with his fingers slightly grazing the top of your ass.

“OH YEAH, THAT’S THE MONEY SHOT!” the photographer yelled out which caused you and timothée to break out with laughter.

five outfit changes and hundreds of poses later, you were finally done for the day. you thanked the crew and made sure to grab timothée’s number because he seemed like a genuine guy and you were serious about the invite to a chelsea match.

with photoshoots, unless it’s in a magazine or a runway, you never know when the pictures drop so there wasn’t much time to prepare your boyfriend. to be fair there is never a good time for a man to see pictures of his girlfriend wrapped around another man while topless.

a couple months later, ben was getting ready for training when he felt his phone vibrate. he was getting a couple of twitter notifications so he opened the bird app. one tweet he was tagged in read: @BenChilwell ur gf is sooo hot wtf

ben smiled because he already knew that but the smile quickly faded as he pressed on the tweet and saw what they were referring to.

ben had forgotten how to breathe for a second. he couldn’t believe his eyes. here you were practically naked hugging timothée chalamet, one of the hottest stars in hollywood and one of your favourite actors.

he sat down before the empty locker room started to spin. when was this? why would you keep this from him? did you like being pressed up against timothée like that? did you enjoy it more than you did hugging him?

then rage hit him as he noticed timothée’s hand placement. how dare he placed his hand on your ass like that? didn’t he know that you had a boyfriend?

ben knew he was spiralling but he couldn’t help himself. this was probably the worst time to have seen this (it would have been better if he didn’t at all be honest) right before a full day of training.

he took a few deep breaths collecting himself before tying up his sneakers and heading to the gym.

you didn't get many off days but when you did, you spent it at home in sweatpants and one of ben’s shirts. your day would have been better if you and ben never left the bed but duty called, the man had training. before he left, ben had made you a cup of tea just the way you liked it and gave you many sloppy kisses so you were content and completely oblivious to the fact that the calvin klein twitter account had put up your photos with timothée and the internet was eating it up.

you had a productive day cleaning the house, getting work done and reading nearly a hundred pages of your book.

it was nearing 6 p.m. so you made your way to the kitchen, put on some post malone and got to work on dinner you and ben. it was about half an hour later and you were dancing to one of your favourite songs, candy paint, before the music stopped abruptly.

“wh—oh hi bennny,” you turned around and saw your boyfriend leaning against the kitchen entrance holding your phone.

“i was listening to that, you know?” you shuffled over to him and took your phone out of his hand to resume the song but when you went in to kiss his cheek, he backed away.

considering he still hadn’t made fun of your dancing and now avoided the kiss, you had a strong feeling that something was off. “babe, what’s wrong?”

“i don’t know you tell me… or better yet i’ll ask timothée, you know, your new mate,” ben’s voice was filled with quiet rage.

“so the calvin klein campaign is out,” you stated.

“yes, it's out. for the whole world to see. and you’re fucking naked!” he was starting to raise his voice which he never did with you.

“okay, we can discuss this like level headed adults or not at all because i won’t stand for you yelling at me,” you replied. you loved ben with your entire heart but there are some things you wouldn’t accept. “so do you want to talk about it?”

ben rubbed a tired hand over his face and nodded.

“okay, then let’s take this to the couch,” you suggested. you made sure you turned everything off in the kitchen before going to him.

you took a quick breath before you began. “ben my love, i am a model. this is my job. everything and everyone was professional to a t.”

“okay, cool. it’s your job, i get that and i support it, you know i do,"

you nodded because it was true. ben was your biggest fan and supported from the day you two began dating. he catually slid into your dms to tell you you looked great walking down a runway almost a year ago.

"what i can’t support is my girlfriend pressing her naked body on a man she told me was attractive not too long ago,”

“first of all, timmy is a friend—"

“timmy, yeah? you’re on a nickname basis with him?”

“let me finish… second of all, you are right,” you come clean. “i made a mistake not telling you that day because i didn’t want this, for us to argue over something so meaningless. i know now that i was only delaying the inevitable and i am sorry but timothée was nice and respectful and understood my boundaries,”

“boundaries? what boundaries? his hand was on your arse,” he scoffed.

“it was on my lower back,” you corrected him but leaned inro his ear to say, “because my ass is reserved only for you,”

in a swift motion, ben had managed to pull you into his lap which made you laugh. you ran a hand through his dryish hair. “my ass, my heart. it’s all yours, ben james chilwell,”

he smiled for the first time that day. a relief washed over him hearing those sweat words but ben wanted to make a point. he trailed his fingers up your legs.

“so you’re absolutely not interested in timothée?” he questioned.

“how could i be when i have you?”

“good answer. tell me one more thing,” he said as his fingers made it to the top of your thighs and cupped your heat over your sweatpants. “what about this? who does this belong to?”

you let out a slight moan. “you...only you,”

“that’s what I thought,” he smirked before he captured your lips with a searing kiss. you kissed back with equal force while grinding on his hand.

within a matter of moments, what you two were arguing about was forgotten because all you really wanted to do was be wrapped up in each other.

Oh my gosh hello!! The Locked Tomb has been my favorite series since I read the first book a few years ago! I was obsessed I was full in I hadn’t been that into reading since high school when I would read in the back of every class. Never has a book made me ugly cry so hard.

The second book is the main reason I write in 2nd person POV for Odette most of the time (‘:

I’m gonna slap the rest of this under a readmore just in case people don’t want to hear about the books or don’t want things spoiled on accident !! But also this kind of turned into a long explanation of Odette’s whole deal, sorry (mwah).

But! To answer your questions!

1&2:) Yes. Pretty heavily but maybe not obviously? Like. Harrow and Odette would not get a long and Odette as she is does not fit the Necromancer vibes of the ninth house. But I was so enamored by these goth nuns being so out of place and so devoted and Harrow being so!!!!! Ready to ruin her life for her faith because she needed her faith so badly to cope with the grief.

And then the way it just all!!!! gestures.

Odette was always going to be a nun, as a result, and the psychopomp stuff felt right after I’d been playing her for a while. We run into Ashkin/undead several times in the MSQ, side quests, and fates and the like; someone being able to aid these ‘souls’ and return them to the lifestream feels like a role for Odette.

She would maybe make more sense being a nun of Nald’thal but I headcanon that each of the 12 have their own funeral rites. Nald’thal is the judge of all dead, that is his role! But each of the 12 get a say in how their faithful are laid to rest. A psycopomp’s role, traditionally, is not judgement but guidance and love knows no judgement, but she does know guidance.

The moths in her screenshots are souls themselves, flocking to Odette for aid in whatever form that means. Sometimes it means slaying their body so they can rest, sometimes it means cleaning their resting place or returning items stolen by graverobbers, sometimes it means finishing anything unfinished they have left, or solving their death or just finding them and laying them to rest. Each soul needs something different.

The skeletons originally were a metaphor and a call back to that root influence of the Ninth house. With encouragement from friends, though, they’ve become much more ‘real’ in her canon. Serving as her trust and guardians on more dangerous searches. (When None can’t join her but also sometimes with None!)

So you can see it’s a very loose influence, but the 1st book is 100% the reason Odette exists. Death nuns??? Please… What a gift.

I have a Locked Tomb AU with my friend, peep, in which Odette is the Ninth house Cav and Avidia the Third House Reject turned Ninth House Necromancer. The Cav/Necromancer relationship is sooo intense and I love reading into to them too much, as does peep, so it’s very fun for us. Would third house ever send one of their necro to the ninth house? No! Probably not! But Avidia must always be a reluctant ex-pat, and so! (It’s a complicated story but we really like it LMAO takes place far before the first book)

Ahem!

3:) The soup scene is SO good, I reread it a few times because it was just so!!! Amazing. This is such a hard question because so many of the scenes are so good.

Three-Way with God is good. Ianthe’s Arm Scene (SCREAMS!!!) The pool scene from book one is ofc a fav but ugh.

The one I think about the most is from book three and it’s a tie, I think, between tree moments at the very end of the book.

Paul’s (re?)birth and “You can’t take loved away.” and “Why are you not appeased? That is how meat loves meat.”

I can’t wait for Alecto the Ninth, truthfully !!

4:) GOSH! This is hard also!!! Nona is also a favorite of mine and I know she has influenced Odette heavily. She’s just so!!! Nona loves you!!! I hope we get to see some of her again, just glimpses, now that she’s been returned. Sobs into my hands for four days straight.

I think Camilla Hect is one of my favorites and Sex Pal, of course. Which means Paul… Paul… my love I can’t wait to know you.

You didn’t ask this question, but I do think there is a lot of Hect in my alt Prudence. That quiet competence and skill, that devotion, that dry wit.

Some spoilery lore-based update musings below the cut

First, I'm a little disappointed that Wilson doesn't have any new items that he and other characters could comment on. Those can be a neat source of tidbits about the relationship between two characters. Perhaps the short that's very likely coming will be more elucidating in that regard?

So, Mr. Daywalker. I think he's a cool addition because he makes for an enemy I dislike pretty quickly. Taking advantage of the collective kindness of the survivors only to hurt them? Yeeeaaaah. Admittedly, I do find myself asking how much of his behavior is his fault and how much can be laid at the feet of his corruption, so I'm not 100% convinced he's irredeemably evil, but he's certainly not looking good.

Given my adoration of Wortox and sometimes overprotective of my fav tendencies, one might assume his being taken advantage of is the worst to me. Don't get me wrong, it's bad. He's one of the survivors that outright advocates for freeing the werepig despite having reservations (his "friend or foe?" line). Wortox is being punished for his better nature yet again. On the other hand, this has happened to him at least twice before (Baby Beefalo and Krampus; putting the lunar altars back together; arguably raising baby tallbirds). I'd even argue that Wortox's better nature hurting him is a large aspect of his character. He makes a quip, something like "I'm getting the sense that's 'foe'...". It seems like he does what he always does; laughs it off.

It's two other characters that hit the hardest for me. I'll start with Wigfrid. She can certainly be fearsome at times. She's a dedicated warrior who seeks out good fights. There's also an undercurrent of sweetness to her. Some of her lines are compassionate, and not just towards other survivors. I don't think her violence is just for violence's sake; she wants to be a heroine.

Still, one thinks of fighting magical beasts as her thing (obviously not indiscriminately since Wortox exists)

The tougher, the better. But here's this giant, dangerous beast that's attacking her. But instead of her typical eagerness for battle, there's regret. She says the werepig leaves her no choice. This is one fight she didn't want. I suspect she wanted to be the heroine here, freeing some poor, imprisoned creature. I can't help but wonder if she thought of Wortox, how cursed and dangerous creatures can potentially be affectionate companions if shown kindness. The contrast from her typical gung-ho nature strikes me as particularly sad.

And then there's Wendy. Poor Wendy. Examining the pillars that the daywalker is chained to, she says "we're all tethered to something" as if she doesn't care. Sure, that's pretty typical of Wendy. Her world is a dark and miserable place. Yet when she fails to break the pillars...

She seems genuinely upset at her failure to free the werepig. I don't think she's just apathetically going along with what the other survivors want to do; she wants to help. For someone who acts apathetic about many things and closes herself off to avoid getting hurt, she cares this time. She goes out on a limb to help. And when the werepig tries to murder a little girl for helping him, well...

"kindness only begets more pain"

He ruined what could have been growth from a girl who has already been through so much. I suspect after this, Wortox will still be sweet and choose to focus on goofy fun; Wigfrid will still want to use her prowess in battle to help others. But Wendy... It's the sort of setback she might not recover from.

So yeah. The Werepig hurt Wendy. That has certainly earned my ire.

a question for you (and Vin, if theyd like to answer this as well. i wasnt sure which blog to send this to, since you both co write a lot of stories.) ive been in a certain fandom for many years. ive made fanarts, done oneshots, but recently, ive been wanting to do multi chapter stories. half because i like to torture myself, and half because i fell in love with the stories you two write (my fav being Leech in the Rain/Bleach on the Brain, just because of how every chapter guts me like a fish). my question being: how do you accurately portray media characters, and how do you even make story plots? one fear that i have while writing is making characters flat, only giving them basic characteristics that would just boil them down. i dont want them to be obnoxious in personality, but i also want to convey the personality shown in their og media. another, more of a blank than a fear, is not knowing how to make a plot in the first place. do you use an outline for your stories/chapters? how do you even create conflict? very sorry if this isnt the usual type of ask you receive on your blog. as ive stated before, i take a lot of inspiration in yours and Vins stories (and i have no one better to ask). i greatly appreciate whatever advice you two can give.

General Advice

Most of my writing advice is stashed in this post.

This one, specifically, written by @therealvinelle addresses most of the questions you have here.

My main advice though, and I think what your blocker is based on what you're saying, is to stop thinking about what can go wrong.

You always have to start somewhere and with something, if you follow the linked post and plot out what your story should look like/what you want to do the only thing that remains in your way is sitting down to do it.

The first draft may not be what you're looking for but it will be something on a page that you can then work with to make into what you need it to be.

The hardest part, I think, is knowing where you're going and knowing your characters well enough that you know how they'll react to whatever happening to them. That last bit is the key to a character, in my opinion, not having a sheet or template but being able to confidently say "X happens, they'll do Y" or at least being able to sit down and figure it out based on what you know about them. Let the characters drive the plot and the story and they'll never be unrealistic.

Otherwise, personally, I write for myself. I write things I want to read that I know others won't give me or things I want to try my hand at. It's nice if other people like it, but I can't be here for them and at the end of the day it has to be what I'm happy with.

Ultimately what matters for your multi-chapter fic is if you're happy with it and if you feel it's portraying what you wish to portray. If other people like it, wunderbar, well done, but they shouldn't be the ones you're doing it for.

The Fuck is Conflict?!

The only thing I think not previously addressed is how to create conflict. That's thinking about it a little backwards, the conflict in a way, should arise naturally.

But let's break it down.

Conflict ultimately arises from the desires and motivations of the various characters.

You have an evil emperor who wants to be an evil emperor and you have the peasants who don't want an evil emperor: conflict. Edward despises vampirism and Bella wants to be a vampire: conflict. The Cullens all want to be a happy family but ultimately they have very different values from one another that are incompatible: conflict.

The conflict should already exist among your cast of characters. They have different ways of viewing the world, different things they want, or there's some obstacle in their way preventing them from getting what they want.

What you need then is a catalyst. Something happens that shakes up the status quo. It's revealed that an item thought unattainable is suddenly attainable, the evil emperor makes his first big move, a stranger arrives who highlights the existing issues within the family.

Something happens that causes the character desires, motivations, etc. to either clash or be set into motion.

For me, the conflict is the story. It's both what happens to set off anything, the problem(s) to be resolved or otherwise wrapped up, and what will drive the characters forward in the story.

Without the conflict, you have a tumblr post, not a story.

In that sense, then, conflict is almost as easy as "what do I want to even happen in this multi-chapter fic". If you have something, anything, happening that's going to cause issues for the characters, you probably have your conflict right there.

Favourite painter: I love museums, my answer to the superpower question is usually teleportation because I would happily spend all of my afternoons in like, The Met or the Lourve. But, weirdly enough, no one particular painter comes to mind... Erm, Bob Ross?

Favourite writer: At the risk of sounding like a pretentious English major, I'm gonna say Shakespeare. It's the boundless troves of meaning and magic in his texts. What I love, perhaps even more, is the immeasurable volume of art his work has inspired — from She's the Man (2006) to Ran (1985) to Moby-Dick.

Favourite band: Queen. My dad was a HUGE fan of 70s rock (Queen, Deep Purple, Guns N' Roses, Scorpions, Aerosmith) so that was what I grew up with. Lol my teacher was very confused when I, at age 7, told her my fav song was 'Another One Bites the Dust'.

Favourite meal and drink: Bread and iced water. Sounds slightly psychopathic but think about bread in it's many and varied forms! Then think about all the other yummy things you could put on or into bread!

Favourite outfit aesthetic: Bold colours. Simple designs. Lots of jewellery. My body looks quite different from how it did a few years ago (unintentional weight loss), so I've been building a whole new wardrobe and gradually figuring out what I like.

Favourite singer: Taeyeon 태연. My Korean isn't great but that means nothing because her voice has a way of piercing straight through my heart and deep into my soul. Someone once said she sings like "a woman who has been divorced seven times" and like, YES.

Favourite item I own: My laptop. A basic answer but it's what I'm typing this on and it's one of the few things that's truly completely mine and it keeps me company a lot (and sane, ngl).

Favourite possession: A stuffed animal I've had since I was a child — a little doggy, because I've always wanted one but my parents said no. I used to be quite embarrassed/ afraid of being laughed at but the lovely solreefs once said:

“oh I’m too old for stuffed animals” skill issue. sorry you can’t appreciate little creatures made to hang out with you, I on the other hand am full of joyous whimsy and therefore vastly superior.

I love that. Now I'm not only unabashed in my whimsy, my little stuffed animal has become a special sort of... gauge? Comfortability indicator? Like, I knew my ex wasn't the one when I felt this deep reluctance to show him it *wince*

Favourite perfume: SW19 Noon — Feel the noon of Wimbledon Park, with the scent of cold water under the cool shade of a tree and the scent of iris flowers in full bloom in the sun. It's divine.

“Stevie, what do you think? Should Robin wear a skirt with me or should she wear those ratty pants?” Steve giggles at Nancy, ignoring the fake offended scoff that Robin gives at the jab of her attire.

“Rob should wear that!” Steve points to an item hanging in Nancy’s closet, it’s a very pink and very frilly dress that Nancy hasn’t really thought about since freshman years picture day.

“Steve! You’re supposed to be on my side dingus!” Robin huffs, slumping onto Nancy’s bed beside the brunette boy who only shrugs.

“You’ll look pretty.” He assures, getting Buckley scrunching up her nose as his only response.

“I think it’s a great idea Stevie, she can wear the dress and I’ll wear my skirt, then what do you want to wear?” Theres not much Steve would fit into or that he would willingly go out in public in but he’s always loved the t shirts Nancy sleeps in.

He stumbles up to get to her dresser, rummaging around til he pulls out a light cotton shirt, it’s pastel yellow with a faded teddy bear design across it. He knows from past sleepovers with Nancy and Robin that this particular shirt falls to Nancys knees so it should fit him fine, if not also be baggy across his own body.

“Oh you get a nice comfortable shirt and I’m stuck with this death trap?” Robin holds the dress chosen out for her eyes to scan down, they play dress up all the time, but now they’re off to the park and she was really betting on a pair of pants.

“Baby chooses the clothes, those are the rules.” Nancy reminds.

When Steve had confided in the two girls that he regresses they were quick at caring for him, doing anything in their power to keep the little guy happy as can be, clothes seem to be a big part of that. Steve’s always loved to help Nancy with whatever clothing crisis she was having so it’s not a shock to her, but Robin has been a tad more hesitant to dress up in all the wacky outfits Harrington can think of.

“I think we should set boundaries on that rule.” Buckley mutters to herself, but looking down at Steve’s excited hand claps and giggles about the new outfits the three will be in, she reconsiders that thought.

Yukilisa and mocaran are practically canon to me. Yukiran as well to a SLIGHTLY lesser extent. Lisa and moca work together and have literally been shown talking abt their gfs and their problems all shift. I think that they can have a little polyamory as a treat. The specific dynamics and who is dating who is a little messier in my mind but they’re all so homosexual . i need more content of them immediately (there is none) . yukilisa childhood friends that fell apart and came back together in order to make music as roselia (with 3 other ppl ♡ whom i adore) . What makes me insane is how much of herself lisa is willing to instantly sacrifice just to get to play with yukina again. That’s not a good thing and yukina is kind of cold for quite a while but she is Going Through It and AUUGH they’re learning each other again and healing and 💔💔 their dynamic is sooooooooo sweet and yukina puts up with things from lisa that she genuinely wouldn’t with anyone else and they are So close and yukina is kittygirl REAL I LOVE HER SOFT LITTLE SMILES THAT SHE GIVES LISA AND THEIR CARDS TOGETHER AUAUG

The love how you drew the electric mayhem. Dr.Teeth and Floyd are so cute. Looking at Teeth's grandmother, it makes sense that Teeth has bones around his neck. I wanna ask, do you think Teeth ever tried to have powers like his grandmother or did he just stick to the piano. And I wonder, voodoo was performed in New Orleans, so I believe Teeth grew up in the city. I wanna know your thoughts on that.

And I'm happy you like Anne! I have a couple of scribbled doodles in my files which I can hopefully clean up and colour later, I've been super busy this week with part time half term work and training for a new job alongside my mum. In my free time I've been working on commissions so I haven't had a great deal of time to just chill - hopefully once half term is over I can return to my usual schedule. Floyd especially is a little harder for me to draw digitally then traditionally but he's my fav muppet so I always try to draw him with care so I'm glad you think I succeed in that too!

As for Teeth having magic I like to think he doesn't have any, just makes it more funnier whenever his Grammy does any magical mishaps that can't be explained. Since I've always pictured Anne to live in New Orleans - maybe down in a bayou with all the animals she's got - I imagine Teeth probably knew of voodoo at a young age and tried to do magic with a pretend magic staff (aka a particularly large twig he found) but he never had any legit magic. Anastasia hasn't told Teeth she's actually magic cuz she likes to keep an air of mystery to her, but kiddo Teeth in his child like innocence probably thought she was magic with all the crazy stuff that happened around her, but as he grew up he just assumed that was normal and didn't question it

Going more in depth on if Grammy would live in New Orleans: I think she'd live there for a least a decent chunk of her life while raising Teeth, working as a voodoo witch and fortune teller for hire. I imagine her having a house on the outskirts of town close to the bayou, her house would be half covered with vines/other vegetation with a little porch bit on the front of the house. The inside of her house would be a little cluttered with various trinkets and old dusty artifacts she's collected over the years, some bead decorations and dream catchers hanging around each room. She'd probably have a small room off to the side with her crystal ball and other magical items for her work, then the rest of the house would be a living space for her, Teeth and her many pets (I imagine she also has a secret room behind a bookshelf or something where she keeps more magical and enchanted items, as well as her secret recipe for cheesecake)

jensen loves giving hand kisses (literally had him do it in my fic "so ill just paint it chrome"). on the receiving end he much prefers forehead kisses

bryce is def the opposite. he prefers giving forehead kisses and receiving hand kisses.

5. Do they like oversized jumpers?

yes to both. i think they tend to prefer more form-fitting stuff (especially bryce), and jensen tends to wear oversized stuff more often, but ik they both like to cuddle up in something comfy when they can (also lbr most of bryces oversized stuff is just jensens oversized stuff that hes stolen)

14. What's the most touching gift they've ever received?

this one is so hard but for jensen i dont think it would be just one thing. i think all the times where bryce makes him dinner after work, or picks up something for him before work all kind of amount to one thing. just the fact that bryce is thinking about him when he doesnt need to means a lot to jensen

for bryce, i feel like it would really be anything small/homemade from jensen (or keiki ofc). on plenty of occasions theyve been walking or something and jensen sees some pretty flowers and will stop to get it for bryce. keiki has def given him some little friendship bracelets or something similar and he Loves them. just little things like that are always his fav

(ik neither of these were an individual gift but im indecisive alright)

15. What's their favourite item of clothing?

hmm jensens is probably his bomber jacket that he used to wear when he was in his band cause it has patches, stickers, and scribbles/doodles from all the shows and venues they played

bryces is an Old ass hoodie thats technically jensens but hes had it since before they were even officially dating (jensen let him borrow it one night when he dropped him off at home from donahue's and bryce has had it ever since)

the adventure starts zoning.

i’m going to do the 5 taz PCs i made. I went DEEP in the paint on the details and specifics with these hoes and I’m pretty proud with how they turned out.

as always, I will not be taking criticism of any kind at this time (compliments welcome), and understand that if I complain about heroforge not having something, I am doing it with the utmost love and respect for this free, ad-free service that has so many options for players of many different abilities, cultures, genders, play styles, campaign arcs, etc. they also have 21 kinds of eyebrow scars. both of these things can be true at once.

y’know what that is on his face? that’s right. one of the 21 kinds of eyebrow scars. i mean i will say that hf knows its audience though thats exactly the kind of shit dnd people love.

magnus was hard. mostly because you will not believe how many objects one man can have. pictured here are

you can only have one “glove” item on each hand at a time (very reasonable) so I chose fletcher’s mitt over bracer of balance since I was worried about the bracer clipping through the shield.

I was going a little off the graphic novels bc I’m well aware that the magnus I picture in my head is Not Accurate (again, I got the attention span of an iguana, so I will miss big details like “magnus has a beard” and “magnus has reddish-brown hair” and then go and imagine him looking a different way for 70+ episodes and over two years).

ok. next up - Taako (from TV!)

now. look. there is an outfit that I personally own that I think taako would look great in. this is inspired by that outfit. I especially love the teal + purple for him, and the blue eyeshadow. I may one day make a copy of him to put in a more dnd outfit, but probably not. I like this look.

for some reason, theres like a popular headcanon of taako having buck teeth and i’ve always liked it, so i gave him rabbit teeth to simulate the look.

also I gave him earrings bc he deserves them. as a treat.

the copper pan is to represent That Part in the finale, and then once I saw the wooden spoon I thought they’d go perfectly together

so. no hawaiian shirts in hf. what I wound up doing was choosing “asymmetric powder splatter” in decals and then coloring each stain a different color to try and give a tie-dye effect. Not bad but it did get on some of his stuff. I didn’t go too hard on the items with this one, I wanted to go more for the aesthetic. like, the slippies of haste just don’t vibe with the vines (which are of course 100% necessary). he’s got

i have no words. he is perfect. my duck has always been a flavor of ‘justin but in a park ranger outfit’ and i think i captured that well. beacon has to be a whip with no mouth bc like. he is an incredibly specific weapon.

I was able to make him decently fat, mostly without the weirdass thigh gap that agnes had (i think the pants help a lot), probably bc he’s human (and a man...c’mon hf), but the knees, lads. the knees. when you scale up a guy in any respect in hf, the knees stay the same, even if the meat around em gets bigger. exhibit a (and also showing off the jetpack!)

look at those pants. something happened there. its like he put rubber bands around his knees. its weird. pls make knees get bigger hf. ily ;)

all in all, I am very satisfied with these guys. You’ll notice I didn’t make Ned. that’s because it’s been almost half a decade and I STILL have not recovered from the later episodes of amnesty.

also, like, I know what ned looks like, and it’s just not a look I think will translate well to heroforge. same w thacker, though his appearance is a little more nebulous in my head, and I don’t have a super concrete image, like I do w duck or aubrey.

ok. i send these beautiful babies out into the world. they are complete, and no longer need to take up space in my mind. they are fully realized creations. I can clear up that brainspace for other things. like finals week.

Why each element contributes to you as a creative:

Badminton racket/medal: Growing up, sports have always been in my life. I used to play netball, softball, and badminton. Badminton has played a significant role in my life - it has opened up various opportunities for me. I have learnt and gained great insight into different cultures and the community which has really inspired me as a creative.

Candles: I love the calmness they make me feel. I have also delved into making a few candles in the past.

Adidas shoes: I wear these shoes a ton! They have a special meaning to me and I feel that I am expressing myself when I wear these.

Bracelet from grandparents: My grandparents gifted me with a bracelet with my name engraved into it. I still have it with me and it carries so many memories with it.

Letter from my year 13 design teacher: I did design throughout high school, as I felt that I could express myself. In the later years, I really didn't know if what I was creating was good, and was losing passion. My design teacher believed in me and wrote this letter that I have kept ever since, which is one of the reasons I am pursuing design.

English bag: I got this bag in the UK from my grandma who loves fashion. It resembles a little piece of my cultural background.

Rock: When I visit places I like to collect mementos such as rocks. They are so unique in their own way, and each one reminds me of where I've been and how i felt duing that time.

Pencils: I love sketching, I have done it ever since I was little as it is a way for me to just chill out. These are a couple of the pencils I use.

Photograph of great grandma: My English background has definitely had an impact on who I am as a creative person. My great-grandma used to be a nurse in the war period and brought up her 2 daughters on her own. She has really inspired me in that sense.

Lego: I have loved creating with Lego ever since I was little. I found this to be a gateway for me as a creative as I could make whatever I wanted and express.

Karen Walker jewellery box: My friends gifted me with a Karen Walker ring for my birthday, and I have fallen in love with not only the connection to it but also the packaging.

Boney M album cover/record: My grandparents have a record player and we used to play this song all the time, influencing me on music.

Scarf made by grandma: My grandma is quite creative in the sense of knitting, painting and hand-crafting things. Watching her create has definitely impacted how I want to create.

Parkrd tote bag: I collect tote bags. This one in particular is one of my faves as I love music and I love the way it has been made.

Handmade mug: I painted this mug a while back and I still remember the process of how it was crafted which I had found interesting.

Harry styles lanyard: Harry Styles is my fav artist. I have grown up knowing his music for years. His songs have really impactful meanings for me and the community he has created with his fans has been so powerful and seeing all of the diversity, and how people feel comfortable expressing themselves is what has inspired me through my own work.

Laptop: My laptop is what holds the majority of my work and where I spend a lot of my time. It houses all of my skills and knowledge.

Jewellery box my grandma made: My grandma made this jewellery box which I find beautiful.

Darlic: I love movies and series. Doctor Who in particular has got to be one of my favourites as I love how different it is and I remember being so emersed

Journal Entry #1: 13 Jan 2023

I’ve always loved Friday the 13th, hence I wanted to start this today, where I’ll try to journal digitally as much as I can just to capture my days and my thoughts. I am also officially 30 for 3 months today, and it's been looking and feeling great.

Taeyang released his music featuring Jimin today, and sadly I didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would because it’s not the genre that I usually enjoy. It’s okay not to love something your fav put out. I still gave it a listen a few times, I enjoyed the dance though.

Was I disappointed? Not really, since this is not Jimin’s song, and even if it was his I doubt that I’d be disappointed. I’d just assume it’s not my cup of tea and that’s fine. Jimin is still talented af.

I started today with my usual morning routine of working from home. I pooped, (hahaha, okay that was TMI) then put on sunscreen, put away the dried dishes from the dish rack, refill empty water bottles, refill the ice tray, boil water and make myself a cup of Earl Grey tea.

The Earl Grey part was a newly formed habit of not breaking my fast with coffee in the morning. I also took my pro/prebiotic and my supplements, which reminds me that I need to top up those items because it’s almost running out.

What I did differently today was to talk into a camera to start the day before opening my laptop to work, to record myself talking to my future self about what I’ve been feeling this week.

Yes, work has been hectic and I just needed to vent it out objectively without getting any response. I feel like talking to myself is crazy but necessary, and it’s helpful for self-reflection. The recording will make it into my weekly vlog for sure.

It was not as hectic today though, even though I did receive a last-minute request to break my back to pull things off again, but oh well it was done in a non-pushy and non-triggering manner so I was okay. A lot of delays in plans but it’s fine because I was ready for it due to Mercury Retrograde, at least Mars has stationed direct yesterday for us.

I wrote today as well, which made me feel good, I realized making time for that help with my mental health and it sets the mood for the rest of my day.

I was also happy to see updates about Yoongi watching the NBA game and his GQ photoshoot featuring Valentino. Little things like that make me happy, alongside eating good food, I had my favorite Ayam Gepuk today! And broke my fast with Pecans and Almonds, it’s best to do it with fiber, I think this will be another habit I’d like to cultivate.

I’ve been looking forward to the weekend because it’s been a long week. For the first time in a long time, I do not have plans, and it’s odd yet freeing. I kinda have a plan on Sunday but it’s not rigid, it’s pretty casual. I get to rest, truly rest free from plans tomorrow, I’m planning to do some cleaning and Vlog my day as well, let’s see.

Oh, I took my booster shot yesterday and my arm hurts, hence I couldn’t weightlift today, hopefully, I can get back to it tomorrow, the last time I did it was on Wednesday but then on Thursday I got my period so I did some light exercises to let my body to rest. Didn't do any exercise today and just focused on giving my body what it needs, which is rest.

Today was alright, I get to be in my flow again, and I’m curious how tomorrow would unfold.
