genuinely asking but why do you think riko’s death messed them up so bad? they only knew her for about 3 days but it was depicted like they knew her their entire lives. my reasoning is bc she was a kid who got murdered to be a vessel, which i understand 100%, but it still gets me scratching my head when everybody including gege makes it this huge thing in their history that literally turned geto evil. just wondering your thoughts.

it’s a lot more complex than just riko dying. it’s the trauma of watching her die when he’d just promised he’d ensure her future bc he and satoru are the strongest, and find out his best friend is “dead” and almost die himself and realize he’s not part of the strongest like he thought he was, that he can’t even ensure one kids future. and then he goes off to find a group of non sorcerers clap and celebrate over said kids death. so then ofc he starts to wonder why he risks his life, and swallows and exorcises curses, and watches the people he cares for (like haibara) die as they protect people like that. and the conversation with yuki didn’t help bc it pushed him to decide that killing non sorcerers would get rid of cursed energy that creates curses in the first place. then he watches the twins, two little kids, get abused by non sorcerers when all they were trying to do was save their town. so yeah in the end he didn’t understand the purpose of protecting the weak when they could be so ugly—and that doesn’t justify the extremes he took, ofc, but the reason he turned out the way he did was a snowball of multiple things, not just riko dying—that was more the catalyst

#asks!#it’s way more than just riko dying #that’s just more where it began #it’s more like #non sorcerers are the root of why curses exist in the first place #bc like yuki said it’s the cursed energy non sorcerers leak that cause curses #so why protect the weak and suffer and watch the ppl he cares about suffer #for ppl who are the ‘root’ of the problem and mistreat sorcerers like the twins #ofc mad murder is not 😭 exactly any more ethical but #it’s a good example to someone taking the extremes after being traumatized by the bitter realities #and that is that the jujutsu world is immensely fucked up and robs kids of their youth and #sobs it’s so sad it’s so awful my poor sugu #he didn’t deserve that

Pro shippers are so funny they’ll be like “antis are literally delusional” and I just have to giggle, chuckle to myself at the idea of someone who consumes or supports pedophilic content calling me delusional. They’ll always say we’re not “attuned to reality” , like buddy I don’t know what to tell you, but I’m pretty sure I’m not the one who needs to be 60 feet away from schools unless I want the cops called on me. Another funny thing abt pro shippers is that they think I hate all kinds of problematic works. Like no, I hate problematic works that romanticize the things that happen. You can write about pedophilia, incest, etc without making it weird. You really can. But that’s not what being a proshipper is. Being a proshipper just means “hey romanticize the problematic thing” and it’s very damaging for young ppl on the internet to see that kind of stuff being portrayed in a positive light. Anyways that’s just my “rant” for today. Except I’ll be making another one LMAO

Hello! I love your blog. Seiously one of the best. So... I was watching batman vs robin animation and when i saw the talon's face my brain just went " That's Ezio!" So what if he was a talon in modern day?

Mebey he had the same backstory just like the game but this time the templers found out sooner that he is the prophet so they just lied to him and made him to join them. He never undrestood it was templers behind his family's death and became a templer. But... if he was living around 500 years ago he would've become like talons in batman court of owls comic series which they were like... a little mindless. So we set up Ezio in modern day. A powerfull family that had just come to Gotham from Italy. Idk what to do with this senario. Send help. 🦇👊

This is very similar to the Talons idea that I had and also @fanworldbuildingfun and @twitcherpated have another take for this idea

Just a few additions, we do need Ezio to have Flavia for Desmond to be born so I would suggest that Ezio be taken by the Templars and sent to the Court of Owls (which has already been established at this point) to take him and make him one of the Talons.

How?

They took Ezio when he was at his weakest. To be more exact: the very last scene of Embers where he canonically died, only this time, he was overpowered and lost consciousness.

So, in this scenario, Sofia and Flavia don’t see Ezio dead, he goes missing.

From there, Ezio could be one of the first Talons who were preserved this entire time. Then… the Court of Owls got their hands on the Lazarus Pit and they revive all the old Talons, including the Talon only known by the name ‘Prophet’.

So, in this case, Ezio would be a Talon who did everything order of him because his memories are a bit… jumbled together.

During that time, the League of Assassins have infiltrated Gotham to take back whatever remains of the liquid the Court have taken from the Lazarus Pit and destroy every research, mentions and anything related to the liquid.

This is where we can add Desmond as the modern day Assassin representative. Either:

Talia’s twin brother Desmond

Desmond as part of Batman’s Rogues Gallery by virtue of him assassinating bad guys goes against Batman’s no killing code

Desmond being part of the League of Assassins helping Young Justice

Desmond runs away from the Farm and gets adopted by Bruce Wayne

Or, you know, just make the Brotherhood a separate organization from the League and Desmond suffers through all the Animus BS but doesn’t die from the Solar Flare because there are so many superheroes who could take care of that XD

Regardless, the main point is that Desmond is the trigger to return Ezio to his senses.

Because Ezio remembers seeing Desmond in Altaïr’s library.

And that would become the trigger for Ezio to be taken out of the Court’s control.

Or…

If you really want Ezio to be born in modern day, he’s an Assassin who went missing when he infiltrated Gotham because they learned that the Templars were moving in and out of Gotham for the past month. He’s been missing for over a year and this is the part where you can mix up who will be the trigger to return Ezio to his senses.

This is purely on the side of AU now, so it could be any of his siblings who came to find him. Maybe even Giovanni who quit his high ranking rank in the Brotherhood to find his son. Maybe all of them? Just hammer in the fact that the Auditore family love one another so much (and twist the knife on Bruce’s own past while you’re at it). Hell, it could even be a pairing you like for Ezio XD

oh yeah also one of my friends recently went to a con and was like ‘hey I like your cosplay’ to someone and they?? WHIPPED out this fucking. pamphlet for a discord group related to the fandom to give to my friend for her to join and she was like ‘well I’m not doing that’ and she gave it to me because she knew: 1) that it was for a ship I’m Obsessed With (the person wasn’t even cosplaying either character from the ship); 2) that I’d hate it. and she was right. It’s like a WHOLE ASS PAMPHLET, TRI-FOLD, IT ADVERTISES WORKSHOPS??? WHAT IS THIS A MARKETING RETREAT???? too scary by far.

based on my headcanon wherein vito picks up the habit of smoking, a residual effect of sharing a brain with johnny. this particular scenario occurs in my post-game au; an au where mikoshi worked as planned and vito has to pick up the pieces of who he used to be.
