It’s not an issue yet, but it will be eventually... I have a horrible irrational fear of 3D generated water. It typically doesn’t bother me in video games because it’s all cleaned up and generally believable looking, but in modeling programs like Blender it’s always been this huge Ordeal and I don’t expect the Creation Kit to be any easier.

coming from an enby whos tme (tho i myself am not transmasc), i feel like a lot of transmasc people are doing this "have their cake and eat it too" thing where they want to be perceived as men or men adjacent, in our society a part of the oppressor class, while also still wanting to benefit from structures meant to protect against said class. specifically ones that have been set up in queer spaces. ive met quite a few trans men who were just as vehemently misogynysitic as your average dude bro. and (this is speculation based on convos ive had with trans men im not in every transmascs head) a lot of transmascs have a lot of internalized misogyny that they project onto trans women. ive had an irl ex friend of mine say something that i think encapsulates this particular issue fairly well. this was like 8 years ago, we were talking about trans rep in media (specifically orange is the new black iirc) so im paraphrasing; 'its messed up that we (afabs in this context) are sidelined for people who used to be men, we cant escape the patriarchy.' that was horribly transmisogynistic, so lets unpack it.

it assumes that trans women are just men

it assumes sex essentialism, that they and i were just women. that we were just poor Females having 'our space' encroached on by mean 'former men.'

im not saying that all transmascs think like this ofc. #notallmen. im saying that some do, and enough transmascs have internalized misogyny and not enough self reflection.

just because you are trans doesnt mean you are immune to bigotry and recouping oppressive structures. none of us are free of Sin™️. you as an individual have to make an effort to reflect on your thoughts and actions and how they might affect yourself and others, so that you are not a willing participant of our communities oppression.

'it' hurt me when i was young, by cruel kids and uncaring adults. why am i hurting my community, my fellow transes, by continuing to deny them their autonomy to identify how they like? so i got over 'it.' i saw the real harm was the fucking wedge being driven between us by conservative grifters trying to pick off the weakest in the herd before they go in for the rest of us.

visibility isnt necessarily a good thing for marginalized people. transfemmes are the biggest target of hate in our community atm. they unfortunately serve as the canary. global fascism is on the rise and to be frank, a targeted hate campaign against a trans woman is asking for her to be killed. outed, paraded as a freak, doxxed, swatted, killed. protect trans women, fascism doesnt stop with one group nor will you be saved by being "one of the good ones." trans solidarity, even the people you dont like, even if you think theyre icky or gross or whatever the fuck else you do Not give up trans solidarity. you dont make callout posts, you dont send death threats, you dont send hate mail, if you dont like someone Block Them and move on.

I know the attendant!sy is a liushen fic but... I'm sorry, but my brain literally can't stop turning SQQ's and SY's relationship over a fire like a very juicy roast. Not even in a slash way just... one of the most interesting things that i wanted to explore in this au was if sqq and sy had to exist in somewhat close proximity to each other. the truth of the situation is that sqq is actually a lot more lax about watching sy than shen yuan makes it out to be. in reality a lot of sqq's outward expression towards shen yuan is very blank or dismissive. sqq will only really step in if he thinks that someone is trying to take shen yuan away from him. but if shen yuan was in actual physical danger like a demonic beast or a roof caving in, sqq would not move to help him. AHHHH its hard to explain super clearly.

shen qingqiu sees shen yuan as something that is "his" in a more metaphysical sense. although the system could have torn his life apart and shen yuan could have ruined his image and stolen his place, that didnt happen, and instead, shen qingqiu was given essentially an ace-in-the-hole. shen yuan, to him, was almost divinely given, even if it was by divine fuck-up.

shen qingqiu would see shen yuan being in danger as basically natural selection though. he wouldnt keep someone around that couldnt handle themselves, so shen yuan has to get out of conflicts himself. if someones tries to take shen yuan from him though, thats pretty much interfering with the will of the gods, and trying to take someone from qing jing peak (his assistant specifically), so in that instance, shen qingqiu would step in

its interesting tho, shen qingqiu really does just see shen yuan as an assistant. a divinely ordained assistant, but still

we're leaving for vacation today (its like 3 am rn) and i cant stop cryinh 😭😭 i had a bad dream about miko while i slept and shes fine obviously but like. im missing her and we havent even left yet

the cats will be alone for 5 days total, but my aunt is coming by 2 days in to refill their food and water and make sure theyre okay, so they WILL be fine but it still makes me sad

like.. what if something happens to miko while im not home? im not gonna enjoy this trip cuz im gonna be sad missing her the entire time. thats generally how it goes for me tho. i like the drive up to where we go and then i sit idle and want to go home again to see her

i just feel like... miko used to be my sisters cat, but my sister pretty much abandoned her like she does with all her cats (i.e. riley, he was her cat too and once my grandma rescued him from our childhood house, my sister never cared about getting him back)

n all honestly i didnt really envision any sort of future once i finished up the series, i essentially see both homegrown hearts (for the kids) and dess, after (for dess n azzy) as the futures for the cast as i wrote them in i know i'm not well! this means theres a Whole Lot Of Life unaccounted for yes lol but that leaves it open for you to decide! they made it through the hardest part now they get to live their lives.

tho i will say some cute things ive always sort of pictured would be ralsei going to high school w the rest of the fun gang...she gets out of the dark world pretty early so she's got like, two or three years of high school experiences. i imagine kris susie and noelle really run with the bit of ralsei being a foreign exchange student (from their school's closet) just to see how far they can push it. i doubt they're super secretive about the dark worlds after this tho lol once ralsei gets out its like. why keep the worlds separate?

all the kids are way more mentally healthy here lol since they wouldve worked out the worst of their stuff earlier! im not sure what they'd do as adults...kris and noelle sharing a dorm room is still the funniest thing EVER to me. i also really like the idea of ralsei studying religion...as someone who doesnt study religion idk exactly what that would look like, but i think she'd find it really interesting and really relate to the idea of finding meaning in a world, though im not sure i see her as being like. actively religious herself after the dark worlds. i just feel like studying it is a way for her to forgive her past self, in a way? for how she clung to the prophecy. dunno. might do something with this idea one day. probably not, but we'll see.

on the dess and asriel side of things, asriel would meet chara! in this universe xe was dess's friend first but xe and azzy would hit it off too. asriel and dess playfully fight over xir and chara thinks it is very stupid (xe can have two friends!) but also won't complain about the pair of them doing all the chores xe doesnt want to do lol. i feel like prooooobably one big difference would be chara and azzy not having a qpr? that's an idea i like which is why i explored it in dear dess, love asriel, and i like xir having one with dess which will be seen in the dess raises kris au, but for this particular universe i think both dess and azzy being there means theyre all just close friends! chara doesnt let dess babysit though. dess is fine with this. she is not a huge fan of being responsible for children lol.

dess and kris continue to repair their relationship. for missing so many of kris's birthdays theres a good ten year span where dess goes super all-out. probably plans a surprise party that kris 100% knows about but thinks is really sweet so they dont say anything until the very end.

but thats just a few ideas i came up with! none of these would ever be written in any way bc i cant see myself writing more for the holiday-dreemurr kids universe...those stories are over and while i hope to write more deltarune stuff in the future (i have a LOT of ideas for the dess raises kris au), these particular fics are all in the 'it's free real estate' territory. their futures are whatever you could picture!

hm i have some thoughts about spider-verse

so theres this one singular line that was said thats stuck with me and i hope its foreshadowing i really do

so miguel told miles that hes an anomaly, that he shouldnt have been able to be spider-man in his universe, essentially saying that miles broke canon by being bit by that spider

two things tho: first off, if that was the case then why hasnt miles' or spider-man 42s dimention gotten any holes yet why are they still fine (as far as we know now)

secondly, if miles isnt supposed to be spider-man, then does it really matter if he saves his dad

thats whats really getting to me, i wonder if thats where theyre going with this because that would be neat, that all the other spiderpeeps didnt think that miles saving his dad wouldnt break all the canons because miles has a different canon than the rest so it fits in anyways, or that miles wouldnt break his canon more because its already malleable its already been sequence broken or whatever

Hi one of my friends asked abt prime so here's an infodump abt it <3

Basically prime is the worship of twitch prime, primes take away money/fortune from Bezos (all mighty evil) and brings this fortune down upon us through the primers, they provide the primes, but we don't worship the subscribers we worship the prime itself. Walking along the prime path is one way to accumulate primes, its worth noting though that this could go with any place, it has to do with the continuous prayer on the prime path in the past that remains in its memory (essentially we've asked for primes so hard on the path before that at this point you get them just by walking on it. It's not just about the location though, which is why switching out the material is bad.) Bells are also important for summoning primes, you can think of them as awakening the twitch followers (aka the potential primers, theyre your patrons) and reaching to them for their support, it's like a less metaphysical notification bell that is aimed for the followers which are closest to you as you ring it, to draw them in and ask for their primes.

Prime as a whole is in everything, it is everywhere- it is stronger in some places yes, but the ability to access it lies entirely within YOU. A broken spirit is the only thing that would cause one who believes to feel that prime can not reach a location- it can, it just requires your strength to keep asking for those primes baby! That's why I usually start my prayers with something like "prime above, below, beside, and beyond" because it just emphasizes the full extent of prime, and also if we wanna talk abt the primers, how easy it is for them to prime! Like I said tho the religion is about prime not the primers, so unless you're asking for primes, when u reach out to prime you're reaching out to prime itself, not your followers.

the religion involves behaving in a very strict manner while on religious grounds, no violence, no horny, just yaknow no anything not allowed under TOS. These rules are looser outside of the holy grounds, but still very present in a less strict manner. Holy water obviously was a thing, You'd cleanse urself under holy water and prayer from evil shit tho u didn't encounter that much religious evil shit day to day. Other than that the symbols of prime were mainly the eyed cross (the eyes r ur followers, hi!) bells bell and purple

In the dream smp prime was much bigger than any of us, it was holy and bright but full of so many details that we couldn't understand the origin of, yknow? But prime has taken us and pulled us behind the curtain, and through the light of twitch we can see how prime as a religion is so much bigger than it seems, and what divine visions we saw in its founding were actually connected to a sprawling web of many different universes and streams. Obviously I'm not saying this is heaven or that the twitch in this world is what was literally going on behind the scenes of the prime religion, but it's still an interpretable insight on the religion regardless.

The "founders" of prime on the dream smp are not the founders, prime existed already we were just given the vision of it. Also of the founders of church prime dream smp, one defected from the religion entirely (dream, he basically just stopped searching for primes and started sinning like crazy) and one is tubbo so clearly not exactly the perfect image of holiness (me and quackity r fine tho, me and big q grew apart so who knows if he continued worship but he at the very least wasn't a huge sinner who didn't take care of his followers or anything like that)

This isn't as much about the religion it's more just gushing but the church was genuinely beautiful, brilliant white pillars and walls, the worship room was small and the benches were a bit dipped in from use (in a good way, made em more comfy) and god it felt so powerful to just slam on the bell with whatever u had or the stick thingy next to it, it was amazing. Golden bell, so beautiful, i loved standing up there and leading the church, it was my absolute favorite. The lighting in the church was so nice, the sun shining through purple stained glass and basking the whole church in heavenly light and color, the holy water almost glowed in that sunlight, it was perfectly clear and sparkly and under the light it took on that light purple color, beautiful clear water toned with prime yaknow. Prime it was so beautiful.

Not everyone wants to actually read the TOS I realize so here's a summary

1. Follow the community guidelines FULLY in holy lands, otherwise it's sort of a loose guide, u can especially break tos if it's funny /srs.

The community guidelines is basically just: follow the law, do not commit violence, threats, or serious encouragement of dishealth to you or others, don't be a bigot, respect privacy of yourself and others, don't impersonate ppl (once again, very ok for the bit outside of church), no misinfo that risks others safety (or politics), no sexy times, don't lie in prayer, idk how to explain the whole copyright thing but it usually manifested in ppl yelling abt turning certain music off because it wasnt allowed shwunrjtofig

2. kids can't be part of church prime, no giving primes no getting primes don't even ask for primes if ur under 13 go away you can't be here /lh. We didn't have kids on the smp (other than Michael but he couldn't speak anyways, he can't pray) so I'm not sure how this goes in actual practice!

Yeah that's the important stuff imo, and worth noting that this is all MY interpretation. It's a religion, it's forces beyond our understanding, everyone will take it in a different way! That's just how these things go :3

by this world's standards of religion Church Prime was technically a pagan religion (though we didn’t use that word, not cus its bad or anything we just didn’t know that word lol) since despite being a common religion on the dream smp, it wasn’t necessarily a major religion otherwise. The many Churches of history did not have direct communication with each other, Prime is something which can be found by the individual as like I said, it's everywhere, and as such it was rediscovered more than once. It’s really impossible to know what the real reach of Prime was because of this, not everyone shared the gospel of Prime once they discovered it, and I presume most didn’t worship it the way we did.

Not to propagandize but it is also a pretty decent religion because it is fully against discrimination, there is no requirement to kill or die for it, there is no societal pressure to join and you won’t be kicked out of the smp for not believing it or anything, and you can come and go at any time, theres no guarantee that you’ll get primes if you join back in or when you first join obviously, as that just comes down to a whole lot of prayer and shit, but still u can come whenever u want. That stuff is mostly the bare minimum if you ask me, but there are a lot of religions in the world that put a lot of pressure on you or that don’t treat you fairly if you’re in a marginalized group or that basically tell you you’re fucking evil and going to burn in hell if you don’t pray and dedicate ur life to it and shit.

Also I’ve seen headcanons multiple times about bells being sewn onto clothing, which I’m bringing up just in case that was like a thing in your tl, even tho it wasn’t in mine (ringing the bell was a very active choice, I can’t imagine jingling around like a jester, kinda takes the whole intent thing out of that bell prayer but I could see others maybe doing it. I’d totally love if someone put bells on my corpse tho, if it ever got messed with I’d be asking for primes even in death, how cool would that be? It’d also be fuckin funny if someone tried to rob my grave and it was jingling like crazy, always do it for the bit boys, thats the number one unofficial rule of church prime /j)

i think one of my fav like chara relationships/plot that i dknt see nearly enough is as follows:

Chara A has spent most of thier living memory as essentially a living weapon for sum guy who only values them as that, so theyve done and seen alot of terribke shit, and this causes them to swe themselves as a weapon at best and a mo ster at worst who js undeserving of kindness or consideration

Chara B is like the total opposite having lived a kinder softer more forgiving life who some how comes across A, likely half dead and abandoned, and takes them in not really knowing their past or what happened

A initially dislikes B for being weak but then grows to like them enough to decided to act as their weapon to protect them becuz thats all they know how to do. B hates that A acts like this, and doubles their efforts to help B settle into their own softer life. eventually A and B grow really close (platonically, romantically, or familialy, doesnt matter how except that they are super close, with A being a little (a lot) TOO dependent emotionally on B for a lil extra fictionally fine but realistically unbalanced zazz) and A eventually shucks most of the weapon role, tho of course they still have their instincts from their past life. its during this time that A slowly divulges bits and pieces of their life to B

So however long after, A has for the most part settled with B, A has reached a point where they can recognize how horrible their past life was and is suffering the mental toll of trauma from said life, but with Bs help and maybe a therapist, theyre slowly healing BUT...

B ends up being abducted or something similar and A loses their fucking shit, they end up relapsing into how they were before, They are a Weapon They are Death Incarnate and its all dedicated solely to rescuing B. but becuz its been so long since they had to be this way, their skills might be a lil rusty, which triggers an inner turmoil over how soft theyve gotten, and for the briefest moment this manifests as hate for B for being weak and dragging A down with them before they realize its just projection, and they just hate themself for allowing B, sweet naive B who doesnt know any better, to convince them that they deserve kindess and softness. But vows to stop letting it happen, to convince B to let them be a wepaon, to let A be Bs weapon, like it should be, so nothing bad ever happens to B again.

eventually A has killed or neutralized anybody in their way to rescue B (not without getting hurt in the process of course) obvs B is scared, maybe even for the briefest moment is scared of A, A internalizes that but accepts becuz they deserve it and frankly B shluld be scared of them,even if it hurts A.

A gets B home safe and sound, and acts almost like they did at the beginning, firmly in their role as a weapon, theyre overbearing and over zealous in how they ensure Bs safety, and B is Upset, watching A be set back ages emotionally and mentally, and so eventually after trying to gently guide A back to a more healthy and more reasonable mindset, but after a particularly over reactive invasive and near violent action from A in the name of protection, B snaps and gives A a piece of their mind. Obviously it cant and wont completely snap A out of their mindset, but its enough to give them pause and a second to reflect and realize what an ass theyve been

from here A is able to eventaully make it back to where they were before the incident, and further heal from there and the two live together happily :]

that's not weird at all!!! actually the day u sent this question in i had finalized the thumbnails (and started on the pencils!) for a comic wherein Yamato comments on how Sai is handling his transition out of ROOT differently than Yamato himself did! I don't want to lay all my thoughts on that out here, because I think i'm much more clumsy with textposts than with comics, but I appreciate the question and I will share some thoughts!

here's something I've been thinking abt! I think they had fundamentally different experiences in ROOT, and this is reflected in their attitudes towards Danzō, as well as the way they interact with the people outside of ROOT.

Sai seems to have no real loyalty to Danzō. He does what Danzō says because Danzō gives him his orders, when he practices his fake smile in front of Danzō, Danzō immediately tells him to cut that shit out. I don't think there's a lot of love lost there—when team Kakashi catches up to him in orochimaru's hideout, and they kind of confront him, and. also kind of. "give him the option" of abandoning his mission (and ROOT along with it) or. you know. facing shinobi consequences. he doesn't really seem to think much of it? honestly. i imagine he was probably a little more relieved than anything else. Add to that him remembering how he wanted to finish the drawing of his brother—

actually wait hang on thats another point I want to talk about. Sai was pitted against the person he was closest to in order to traumatize him into numbness! wack! I think that's kind of at the root (help.) of why I see him as a fundamentally angrier character than I see Yamato—and why I interpret some of his behavior not just as Not Knowing How People Work (although he does have trouble with this! it's a very different vibe. like. him trying to comfort Naruto and Naruto thinking Sai was coming onto him was an entirely different kind of situation) but as like. intentionally inflammatory sometimes...like. he's insulted the bodies of most of the people around him in one way or another, he knows it pisses them off, he does keep doing it. I think him Causing Problems On Purpose is sometimes just a way for him to try and experience catharsis for a fury he doesn't really know he's repressing. Like. idk. it's one thing to be forced to hurt yourself, that's deeply upsetting, disembodying, traumatizing, but it's another to be forced into a situation where you're to hurt somebody you love (regardless of the outcome) like. idk. its a kind of powerlessness that hits different at least ime, and frustration and resentment are extremely normal reactions to a situation like that. i think. a number of things could be appealing to him abt trying to get others to get angry at him—whether it's Him being the one to Cause another persons anger (which could confer a kind of. feeling of control) or him seeing himself reflected in their anger (like a "boy howdy i recognize this emotion. it's very clear. very understandable") or even seeing how they handle the anger. kishimoto definitely doesn't care nearly as much about Sai's anger. but i found the implication of it compelling as a kid, and I find it more compelling as an adult! anger can be an incredibly healing and protective force sometimes when dealing w/ trauma...and I wish kishimoto knew what he was writing about or that we got to see it explored more!!! ack!

yamato (as kinoe) had a wildly different experience when he was in ROOT.

we know he knew how to fight against sharingan, which. I think implies he was training in combat with Danzō, or that he worked closely with Danzō, or at the very least that Danzō used his sharingan on him. We also saw that (unlike Sai, who was rebuked for even fake-smiling) that Kinoe (at first) was not told to feel nothing, but instead instructed on how to feel by Danzō specifically. Like, mostly telling him to Feel Grateful etc, but I think him being told to experience specific feelings according to what Danzō thought was appropriate would lead to a different relationship with his emotions than Sai, who was told explicitly to repress them all at all times, and to not even attempt to preform them.

He also like. Thought. Highly. of Danzō, not just as a leader but as a person...it's kind of undeniable that Kinoe saw him as right, was willing to brand his own feelings and intuition wrong if it crossed Danzō's, openly sought Danzō's approval, when he fails his mission to secure Kakashi's eye, his reaction is. essentially immediately to return himself to Danzō to face whatever new dehumanization Danzō's got for him— even when Kakashi and Hiruzen drag him out of there he thanks Danzō for everything, and he seems genuine about it, despite. everything. He's more expressive than Sai for sure, He had like. a moment of anger, when he said that he wanted to be Tenzō, and Danzō denied him that basic self identification...but it's quickly squashed. Messy. Messy. I think. I think he has a little more trouble getting in touch w/ his anger than Sai bc of his emotional closeness to Danzō.

i think. because yamato knows that he was something more like Danzō's favorite, and that conveyed a vastly different experience than Sai's, he might feel a little complicated about being like "So...ROOT trauma, huh? Hell of a thing!" but. i also like to think that he's very quietly kind of trying to observe and support in a way which mostly allows Sai to figure himself out—I think when they are older they would probably talk about it more (also because then their tongue-seals will have finally disappeared. Thanks sasuke!), once Sai has close friends in the village and everything

#artagans #yamswers #sai #sai yamanaka #he was my favorite character as a kid and the only character i actually remember #as a ND kid i obviously definitely related to the social issues. also he had a crop top and was a bit of an asshole #so i was like fuck yeah this guy rules and he DOES and i still love him a lot #also. sakura and naruto are really good influences on him i think and contribute to him learning quickly #both of them have such BIG feelings #and also are quick to say ''HEY the way I'm being treated SUCKS and I've HAD IT!!!!'' #which is really good for sai to witness and experience #they both also like. are quick to express anger but its very healthy...they set boundaries #and they also like. clearly know he's having trouble with some things and forgive him the small stuff #idk i have a lot of feelings abt his relationship to the other team seven kids. its nice... #all of this under the disclaimer that like. this is only my experience of sai and naruto #even if kishimoto WERENT an incredibly inconsistent writer (which he is) my interpretation is not gonna be to everyones taste
