EDIT: 10/03/24 UPDATE - I have completely re-written the fanfic from scratch (except the Prologue), and there is more Robotnik in there! Chapter 3 is now dedicated to Robotnik's thoughts and feelings, whilst I work on the next set of chapters. There is going to be a elitist playboy mansion of some kind, which Stone somehow found himself in when he was much younger... and met someone he fell crazy in love with... and lost :(

Summary:

A stressed out Agent Stone starts really struggling. On the nights when the sexual-frustration is unbearable, he distances himself from the love of his life until the early hours, desperate for distraction. He tries to cover his tracks, should the doctor worry that he's betraying secrets.

But Dr. Robotnik notices - and it breaks him to watch him self destruct. Fearing everything from Stone being blackmailed after dark, to suffering mentally and cheating on him, the last thing on his mind is that he's purposefully being disloyal. One night out too many finally forces him to address the sensitive issue, and Stone painfully admits to some weaknesses of his. Then after one final close call he drags Stone away from the cliff face edge and holds him as he sobs.

Right then, Dr. Robotnik shows him more love than Stone has ever felt for him in his whole life. He takes Stone back to bed, feeds him, takes care of him, coddles him and is attentive all morning. He is never letting him go. Then he surprises Stone with the most romantic date ever, afterwards spoiling him rotten with his wildest fantasies; he ties him up, blindfolds him and tickles him silly. He is determined to shower this kid with love - after all, he deserves it.

Does Shadow ever realize that what he's been doing is terrible? Because he went along with making a literal child vanish and then maimed his best friend, and I can't figure out why he hasn't had the realization yet... (this isn't a criticism by the way! I want to study him under a microscope because it's fascinating)

There’s a very big reason he hasn’t realised why what he’s doing is wrong.

The witches in Oz are isolated from the rest of their society apart from a couple of speeches now and then, they never talk to anyone outside of themselves. Shadow grew up almost his whole life with the only person he’d ever talked to being Eggman, Starline, Maria and sonic

Eggman and Starline enforced the rule that they shouldn’t talk to anyone other than witches how it was bad for them and how people would corrupt them and take them away from their duties. Shadow Maria and Sonic were Raised in this idea that they can’t trust anyone.

Maria always doubted the rules and would try and make friends with people other than them but was quickly pulled back into her isolation. When she died it into reinforced the idea because Eggmans and Starline blamed it on the fact she tried to converse with the outside world.

Rouge had been caught sneaking into the palace one time to steal jewels but was caught by sonic who offered to let her stay if she was “their assistant” rouge grew up the next few years with shadow and sonic so they never saw it as denying their duties and disobeying the rules.

That’s when sonic started sneaking out, it started as once in a while then every night then he just didn’t come back.

Eggman, and Starline were furious and so was Shadoe because he had been taught that was the exact opposite of what he should be doing. Rouge tried to convince him it wasn’t the big of a deal but he couldn’t just let it go.

When Eggman, Starline and Shadow found sonic and realised he had been neglecting his duties to take care of a toddler? They were pissed. Eggman and Starline were the ones to tell Shadow it was his job to kill tails

Shadow had grown up with sonic, they had been brothers and Shadow just wanted his brother back. So he did it despite how wrong it felt because he thought sonic would come back and they could be brothers again but sonic lost it and lit the entire place on fire giving Starline, Eggman and Shadow burns that they all have to hide now.

When shadow came back and told rouge everything she was angry, she was angry that Shadow attacked and killed a child and that he thought that was ok. She got in his face and yelled at him. But all the years of Eggman and Starline conditioning on how everyone else was less than Shadow attacked rouge maiming her and taking away her ability to fly.

He regretted it instantly and tried to fix it but rouge just left. He never saw her since.

Starline and Eggman convince him he did the right thing, and they raised him so.. he believes them because what other family does he had? Who else can he turn to for advice.

Shadow does fully realise the error of his ways eventually.

But it will take a long while.

And Sonic will never forgive him

May I offer you an Eggman in theses hard times ?

Little break between commission and comic, I missed drawing this guy.

I mean, really, he's amazingly fun to draw, and yet, I cannot find time to draw him. So heck with it, there's a new Sonic Game that I cannot play anyway, but I learned he was the main villain once again, and he's so well animated on the intro, it deserved a little something ! 

I heard the game was good, by the way ? I couldn't make many fan art, but this year was kind with Sonic's stuff in general. (I kinda liked the Comic's art this year, the 2nd season of prime was fun, Frontier's DLC, all that !)
