Megumi will start the merger the final boss
We know Megumi now has the power to start the merger and since we've been teased with it it'll probably happen one way or another. Megumi never wanted to be a sorcerer or in this situation, he did it for Tsumiki who he killed with his own hands. This has crushed him and he has no will to live, at this point, he probably thinks it's better to be dead and at the airport with his sister, dad, and teacher. However, Yuji and co will probably manage to save him just like Megumi asked
Tumblr media
However, when Megumi returns I don't think he'll be the same. He was hit with UV and has no will to live. Not to mention the bath. The goal of the bath was to get Megumi closer to evil, we don't know how this affected his mental state but it could have taken a morally grey character to evil
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not to mention the similarities he has to Geto. Both had beliefs that they used to guide them. Geto wanted to save the weak and Megumi wanted to save Tsumiki and his friends. Both had these beliefs shattered and felt there was nothing left for them. Geto turned to evil and while Megumi has the support system he has more factors pushing him towards evil
Tumblr media
Now onto the interesting part, Megumi's shadow has a resemblance to the merger that we've already seen before. It goes all the way back to chapter 1 where you can see these eyes and his shadow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These curses are also shown in volume openers only to be exorcised by the sorcerers
Tumblr media
It's been foreshadowed for him to start it when Kogane announces that a new rule has been added by a player. Which is, “Megumi Fushiguro now holds the authority to activate the merger between Tengen & Humanity”. Sukuna has also said he would start it before so either Megumi or Sukuna will start it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another interesting theory is that Sukuna could start the merger and somehow manage to have Megumi merge with Tengen since there are two souls in the same body but I think this is less likely
Tumblr media
Sukuna just seems to be getting stronger and stronger, almost like all these fights are a training arc for him preparing him for the ultimate fight. He hasn't been trying his hardest in these fights and even when he's "weak" he bounces back quickly. He's confident in himself that he can win any fight. I truly believe the merger will be the final boss and not Sukuna leading into the final arc

Takaba making Kenjaku laugh the same way as when they imagined the merger curse face, just by doing a comedy show with them (no gore or suffering needed) is gonna make me punch a wall. He fulfilled his promise of making them laugh and gave them something just as good as the merger: companionship. Kenjaku doesn't actually need any crazy eldritch experiments to be entertained, their obsession just led them to believe there was no other option and they previously had no one to connect with who could've pointed them in another way. Except Tengen, but she only seemed to make things worse or might even be the cause of all this (maybe not her personally, but definitely the troubled relationship between the two).

Now if Kenjaku is fr dead ‘dead’, man I hope the final villain of jujutsu kaisen would be Megumi…him unknowingly following his father’s footsteps after losing everything and everyone dear to him….yeah we could be seeing a villain in the making here.

i forgot to make a post about this but one of the reasons i believe megumi will be saved and come back, and how that will tie with a major moment in the story (either related to sukuna or the merger), is because of his name. or, to be more precise, because of his father and the legacy he chose to leave behind. toji's character has been the catalyst for almost everything in the current timeline of jjk. he was behind gojo's awakening, riko's death, geto's spiraling and defection which ultimately led to kenjaku's possession of geto's body, the lack of options to release gojo from the prison realm when he was imprisoned by kenjaku, he was the object of yuki's study to break free from the status quo, etc. quite literally, if we do have a plot, we have to thank toji for it. toji, who turned the world upside down and changed everyone's lives by breaking the chains of fate - literal symbolism used in regards to him and other concepts within the story like binding vows, specifically the one sukuna made with yuuji. toji, the one who linked the six eyes, the star plasma vessel and tengen (subsequently relating to the merger) by achieving a state of no cursed energy and reaching something akin to enlightment. such a bringer of chaos who was looked upon as the key to save the world by yuki, who knew there would have to be a change in the souls of the population of japan and cursed energy as a whole to finally break free from the cycle of suffering (breaking from the samsara and achievement of nirvana). now, how does that relate to megumi? the irony in the role toji plays within this story as someone who was born without power. the fact his influence caused nothing but destruction yet he birthed a blessing. what if megumi's name meaning blessing isn't just a coincidence or cute detail symbolising toji's love for his family but a sign for what's to come? what if the blessing yuki saw in toji's achievements as well actually translates to something more meaningful. more precisely, what if megumi is, quite literally, the embodiment of it?

I've seen people debate over whether Yuji has been "out of focus" or not. And it's like...yes and no. He's been IN a lot of scenes, and not quite sidelined (Maki found dead in a ditch), but as with many characters, he ends up standing around. Doing nothing until a specific scene requires him. And unfortunately, we haven't gotten much perspective on his mentality/inner thoughts, as of late. He hasn't exactly been replaced as the protagonist (recent official comments on the "old and new protagonists" aside...), but a lot of JJK's recent chapters have been centered on other characters. That's fine, but when it happens so often, Yuji has to fight to get narrative attention. I consider him to be the most interesting part of Jujutsu Kaisen, so this is personally disappointing to me, but it's also just narratively dissatisfying.
Combine that with the single-file lineup of combatants against Sukuna, and JJK becomes stifled.

I would like to know if a person who dies in jujutsu kaisen can come back to life again, is this possible? example geto died he can come back in another life with his memories but he only changes his body is this possible?
Like just flat out reincarnation/transmigration without complete memory loss? No, we've never seen that happen in jjk.
Tumblr media
The closest you get is with the reincarnated sorcerers from previous eras coming back in different bodies, but it wasn't spontaneous. There were steps that needed to be taken while the sorcerer was alive to accomplish it. They do keep the memories of their previous life, though, as we see with Yorozu, Angel, Kashimo, Ryu, and Uro, etc.
Edit: It's also unclear if the reincarnated sorcerers actually died at any point since Kenjaku says they were asleep here and information on Sukuna's situation from Jujutsu Society's side has been proven false with time. Then again, I guess that depends on what you consider death to be, exactly - their original bodies do die, but their soul doesn't move on, since it's kept within the Cursed Objects.
Tumblr media
You also have the Nature Curses, who do get reborn through humanity's fear of nature/natural disasters, but iirc, they don't retain their memories after they pass on or bring them into their next life.
Tumblr media
Then there's Toji, who's brought back in another body using Granny Ogami's technique. It's unclear how much of his memories he retains from his previous life, but I'd say that the answer is none of them until his moment of realization that we see with Megumi in chapter 113 and the flashback with Naobito that occupancies it.
Tumblr media
Lastly, you have Sukuna bringing himself and Yuuji back to life in chapter 11, but they stay in the same body and keep all of their memories. Neither of their souls move on either - they stay in Sukuna's innate domain - which is why Sukuna says they haven't died despite them clinically being dead in the real world.

Most genius and also successful plan in the entire series. Angel should get more recognition for being the reason (together with Takaba) that the protagonists managed to get rid of the main villain.
