God really let Crowley down. He was made to Fall simply for asking questions and in a moment not unlike a toxic, strict parent who gets lazy and lets off the reins for some of their favorites, Her expectations changed. Within the first 6 minutes of 02x02, Aziraphale questions God's plans for Job no less than nine times and that's not even including the ones he asks of Crowley in their initial meeting.
Then, to add insult to injury, Crowley literally watches Job openly ask God questions without punishment or reprisal. All that and he still chooses to do what he sees as the right thing, not out of a desire for redemption or praise, (Job pretty well shows that doing the right thing in the name of God doesn't win you any prizes) but because that's just who he is. It's so damned unfair. I love Aziraphale so much, but compared to Crowley, he's been so lucky and given so many exceptions that it almost could be by design.

When Sitis says that her children are innocent, Crowley remarks that so were the goats. This is firstly related to Job’s goats that Crowley “killed” earlier, but it’s also a reference to the Flood. job's conversation witj God was so reminiscent of a toxic parent-child relationship. job comes begging for help, for answers. God does nothing to assuage his turmoil and shoves everything she's done back in his face, as if they invalidate his hardships. stop complaining, come back when you can make a whale. stop complaining, come back when you've done something worthwhile, according to the standards i've set
