Something i love to see is palestinians and pro palestinians chanting "decolonization" with images of al aqsa and burned israeli flag
when in fact al aqsa was build in the beginning arab colonism all throughout levant by muslim settlements ON TOP of the jewish holiest temple like 50 years AFTER the prophet Muhammad died (died in 632 AD the mosque was built in 685-715 AD) when, apparently, al aqsa is supposedly an area near MECCA which is in saudi arabia.
And the fact that at the beginning muslims called for jews to COME BACK to judea after they were exiled by the romans and Christians. They tried to help the jews- the indigenous ppl- just to years later cast the dhimni laws and have horrible restrictions and at some point intifadas and even genocide against the jews.
And now they call jews colonizers and israel an occupied land like gurl
The disrespect and lack of history knowledge and self awareness 😭
P. S. Some of you don't understand or know what diaspora is and it's laughable and disappointing

Now, more then ever, I take pride in my faith and my land. Now, more then ever, I thank god for bringing me to this time, to celebrate the miracles that happened here so long ago.
We survived you then. We will survive you now.
May the hostages be returned home soon. May this be the last holiday missed.
Happy first night of Chanukah!

I am a proud Atheist ((not)religion) Jew (ethnicity).
7/10 changed how I view Religion. To claim that Israel has no right to the land, while even after they were banished (by force! As slaves!) They never stopped thinking about returning to Judea/Israel and to Jerusalem, even thousands of years later.
There is no such love for a place like a Jew's love to their homeland.

I hope all the ethnically Asian, African, Pacific Islander, and all other Jews of Color are having a wonderful day! The world should appreciate World Jewry more! Jews are a diverse group of people spanning all four corners of the world and we are invaluable! I hope everyone, gentile or Jew, recognizes us for our devotion to ourselves and our community!

My family had another family over tonight for latkes and candles and doughnuts.
My husband and I don't live in the same countries as our parents or siblings so this was as close to a family Chanukah night as it gets for us without extensive travelling.
It was just so positive, to come together to do something that Jews have been doing for thousands of years. To be unafraid to be Jewish, together.
Also latkes are yummy.

JUST WITNESSED THE BEST THING IN THE WORLD
This is amazing lol. If the land name was changed by colonizers then that means its the native name and a real identity 🤔💀

I saw a post made by someone claiming to be a Jew today, saying that Jews who feel unsafe when they see a Palestinian flag are weaponizing fear in a racist attack on Palestinians.
I feel like that is incredibly simplistic and ignores the fact that a lot of people waving those flags are chanting things like "death to Jews" and holding signs that say "the only place you're indigenous to is gahenna".
The fear isn't irrational, it's based on very real sentiments expressed by people waving those flags. They aren't afraid of those flags, they're afraid of the Nazis who hide behind them.
