unpopular opinions naseon ficou em silêncio por alguns segundos só pra reunir os pensamentos e decidir qual era o mais interessante de ser falado. ━ triangulo amoroso é extremamente sem graça porque geralmente é formado por um casal e um personagem secundário usado só pra atrapalhar o casal a ficar juntos e causar um drama totalmente desnecessário na historia porque todo mundo sabe com quem a mocinha vai ficar, até porque sempre fica óbvio que ela nem gosta do secundário realmente e ninguém consegue gostar ou shippar a mocinha com o personagem secundário porque ele geralmente só tem uma característica de personalidade... lemony snicket foi genial com desventuras em série e merece mais reconhecimento... olivia rodrigo não é tudo isso e eu podia citar pelo menos duas paginas de nomes de cantores que mereciam mais o grammy que ela... wandinha é uma ofensa a quem gosta de família addams e família addams é uma tremenda critica social em forma de humor ácido mas que aparentemente ninguém entende... café gelado é tão bom quanto café quente... ...

Pre-Show Timeline of Sh**ting Stars

I made this because the past parts are told out of order and I wanted to pin down the timeline

Tae-seong is in 9th Grade (14 ish years old):

His grandmother dies, his mother sets it up so he can live alone. Director Choi Ji-hoon prevents his mother from getting off the plane.

Tae-seong 16/17 years old:

Director Choi Ji-hoon harasses him about becoming an actor. At this point no one knows the identity of his mother.

He watches his mom's movie in an empty theatre, sees Han-byeol there crying

He asks Director Choi Ji-hoon to make him more famous than his mother

Last Year of High School (most likely):

Tae-seong joins Starforce, switches high schools, and meets Lee Yun-Wo.

Tae-seong and Han-byeol are in university:

At some point he does one or multiple group projects with Han-byeol (no wonder she hates him so much if he didn't pull his weight)

They watch a movie together

Tae-seong debuted when he was about 20, so during this time. He is already famous enough that his offer to be on the advertisements every year is worth something

(Han-byeol said Tae-seong is her senior, but they are the same age and graduated at the same time. Since she was crying about her grades, she might have entered a year late and since he was working it took him an extra year to finish)

6 years before the beginning of the show (2016):

Han-byeol is a junior employee at Starforce

3 years before the beginning of the show (2019):

Tae-seong says he's dating his co-star, right after Han-byeol thinks that he may like her. She cries while writing the press release.

2 years before the beginning of the show (2020):

Their friend/colleague Lee Yun-Wu commits suicide. His manager quits and opens the Organic Bar. Jo Gi-bum defies her boss to support Han-byeol at the funeral.

(The subtitles say that the crazy lady housekeeper started working for Tae-seong 3 years ago, but given that it's implied Yun-wu just died, she must have started working for him shortly after the suicide)

1 year before the beginning of the show:

Tae-seong goes to Africa to volunteer, partially to spite Han-byeol, but mostly because Lee Yun-Wu wanted to go

Present (2022): They are both 30 years old (born in 1992) and Tae-seong has been an actor for 10 years

Oh Byeol nasceu em Boryeong e foi, ao lado da mãe, tentar a vida em Seul. Agora, de volta para Seul graças a uma promoção, optou por voltar para Haneul, o complexo que nunca a deixou esquecer de sua verdadeira essência.

Depois de Byeol participar de um reality musical infanto-juvenil e roubar o coração de todos os jurados, Starr, stage name com o qual foi batizada, tornou-se conhecida no país inteiro. Não demorou para fazer parte de uma agência de entretenimento, que se interessou em transformá-la na futura queridinha do K-Pop. No entanto, Byeol não durou nem mesmo seis meses no lugar, já que foi expulsa por não aguentar calada o que acontecia. 

Porém, mesmo fora da empresa, manteve sua reputação e fama por algum tempo, até debutar em uma banda de k-indie junto de outras quatro garotas, o que lhe rendeu o lançamento de um único mini-álbum. No entanto, o conceito galáctico não foi bem aceito, assim como o álbum, intitulado "UNI.VERSE". O disband não demorou nem dois anos e, dessa forma, tão rápido quanto alcançou a fama, Byeol caiu no esquecimento.

Drama rec masterlist | Drama rant thread (beware of spoilers)

This is the cutest freaking drama, and I am so sad it's actually over. Though I do like the kdrama format of 16 episodes, sometimes I wish they would go on just a little longer, so I can have more time with the characters.

It's cute as hell, cheesy in all the right ways, and laugh-out-loud funny. Enemies to lovers is always a yes from me, and this was just perfect. Their chemistry is off the charts! I want nothing more than to see these two actors work together again.

If you have seen Business Proposal, I feel like the vibes are very similar (In a good way). So I'm also saying that if you haven't seen either of the two dramas, get a move on and do it 😂 If you enjoy rom-coms even just a little, you will love them, I promise.

I will have to say that I was somewhat disappointed when they went for the love triangle, but they actually somehow pulled it off and managed not to ruin any of the characters for me. So I'll let it slide just because.

If I have to be nitpicky, I do want to say that the overall drama was a bit messy. They tried to put a lot of different stories into it and had so many b-plots I actually lost count along the way. I do feel like some could have been cut without affecting the drama at all, and if that's the case, the b-plot should have just not happened. (I tried to count all the b-plots and think it came up to like 6 or 7 different things going on almost all throughout the drama - that is a lot for only 16 episodes).

The main story, however, was perfect, and I'm not going to let anything ruin that for me.

It had everything I love in a good rom-com and I will definitely come back to rewatch sometime in the future.
