This is a (very late) Mother's Day post so here's Cassana and her little baby laughing at Storm's End while catching a breeze

Major thanks to @kaymcgivemeacall for the suggestion, i really had a lot of fun doing this

I should've posted this before, but let me tell you, I had a very fun day with my mom, so I forgot the phone for a while (the internet where I was was terrible anyway, so not much difference), and this time I set a timer on to count how long I took to color it, and I still can't believe it took me almost 5 hours to finish the whole thing

our boy staniel the maniel!

how i feel about this character: i love my man stan the man!! a funky fresh lil dude. i relate a lot to stan because i’m particular about things and i usually rule with logic vs being emotional.  

all the people i ship romantically with this character: patty! they are actual college sweethearts, true pure soulmates, they deserve the world! i also love stanlon because i think mike and stan are an incredibly soft couple - the nature boyos :)

my non-romantic OTP for this character: ok i keep saying eddie for these but it’s just because eddie genuinely has a really great relationship with stan and i want more of it! stan is like the big brother eddie really needed who makes fun of him but also protects him. and eddie thinking stan is an angel will forever be an iconic moment. stozier and stanverly friendships are really great too!

my unpopular opinion about this character: that neither movies did justice to him? the first movie he barely had any form of development and was greatly reduced to jewish stereotypes. and for the second movie… i really don’t like how muschietti romanticized stan’s suicide by making him some type of martyr/sacrificial slaughter to save the others. stan’s suicide in the book was deeply rooted in trauma and that was just not translated on screen imo. also, fanon stan is way too mean. sure, the boy is sarcastic and has strange humor that sometimes ribs on the losers but he isn’t cruel… canon stan is the definition of weird and quirky and protective! he’s also really personable as an adult! let’s spread that version of him more pls! 

one thing i wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: that he fucking lived!! sk really let him die in chapter three smh i absolutely hate it. he deserved to live and see the other losers as an adult. also he deserved to have his little jenny or andy that he and patty wished they had!!

Kay swung her lanyard in her hand, blowing a large pink bubble from her gum. Beverly strolled beside her, the two of them creating a divide in the crowd of people oggling the merchandise booths. Across the field, bands were already playing. None of the ones they wanted to see, of course.

Bev and Kay were professionals; they were front and center at the barricade for their favorite bands.

They leaned against the small brick building where the restrooms were, sharing a cigarette. Guys whistled at them, but Kay held up her middle finger. Bev snickered, leaning over to nuzzle her face in Kay’s neck. It would’ve been romantic had she not asked, “Are you in the mood for a cheeseburger or pizza? Cause I’d kill for both.”

Laughing, Kay rolled her eyes, ruffling Bev’s fluffy, red hair.

“Bitch, is that a question? Both.”

“Both is good.”

“Don’t even think about putting olives on my pizza though,” Kay teased. Now it was Beverly’s turn to roll her eyes. Linking her arm with Kay’s, she pulled her close, kissing her cheek. As they passed the third stage set up, Bev pointed it out, a smile stretching from ear to ear.

“You know what that is, right?” she asked. Kay smiled softly, taking the moment to rest her head on her girlfriend’s shoulder.

“How could I forget? You dived off that very stage while I was photographing the band. Nearly knocked me down,” Kay said, recalling the moment fondly. “Did I ever tell you I was trying to get you in that shot? You were stunning, I was gay as hell, and I wanted an excuse to look at you.” Beverly giggled, her cheeks burning.

She asked Kay out over a plate of nachos; they met a second time at the merch tables, reaching for the same t-shirt. Bev recognized her (having apologized profusely for landing so close) and took her chance at snagging a date. In one day, they were falling for each other.

They came to the music festival every year since then. Bev wanted to propose at this one.
