Holy heck I finally realized why Hibari's box animal is a shy hedgehog!
Its not because he's secretly shy, tho he might be, it's because he's well aware of how dangerous he is. And there is no option to turn that danger off!
Hibari's danger isn't like the thorns on a rose, it's can't be peeled or plucked away, even by the people he loves wholeheartedly. His danger is like the spikes of a hedgehog! To remove his spikes is to leave him injured and vulnerable to his enemies.
To love him properly is to accept him as he is. The tenderness as well as the danger, all at once. To get to the kindness he could show, you have to brave his spikes. And you probably have to have a degree of forgiveness for the little pricks you'll be given along the way.

let's pretend the romantic overtone in canon between gamma and uni doesn't exist, let's pretend for one second amano akira wrote them as entirely platonic relationship and dissect their power dynamic with that in mind
khr is an action battle shounen manga with teenage boys as its target audience, that's why even though realistically children as young as uni and tsuna would simply be figureheads as the adults play politic, that's not what happens in canon because it's about giving kids the fantasy of being in power
and that's why even though female characters are largely ignored in terms of writing in shounen jump, even uni holds power that veterans like timoteo and iemitsu can't compare with. she's the sky arcobaleno, an important player that helps keep the balance of the khr universe
she is also the giglio nero's boss. she might be the child of gamma's beloved crush, but that doesn't make him her father figure. it's the same with romario and dino. he takes care of dino, he's someone dino relies on as part of his family not just Family, but at the same time he is not dino's father. he is still dino's subordinate, and dino still holds power over him in a way a younger man wouldn't have been able to if they were a normal family and romario was actually his uncle.
the same thing is applicable with gamma and uni. no matter what, uni is gamma's superior. both because in canon it's supposed to be a story where children can go toe to toe against adults with no issues, and also the interpretation that reads this whole situation as a tragedy where children must hold power over the people they consider their family if they want to survive the underworld

So I was thinking about the Varia, and them calling out their attacks, Because most of them…. don't do that. or at least not often.
I don't know about the anime because my god am i not going through to check that that's so many episodes to watch.
But in the manga there is a total of ONE time when Squalo actually calls out one of his moves himself (in fact in the manga we actually learn all his move names from his team mates because he sure as hell doesn't say them once. In the manga this is the only reason we know they even HAVE names.) Which is when he is coordinating a team attack with Bel, Levi, and Lussuria against Enma.
And at that point means he may only name them for specifically for strategic methods so his team mates know what he's doing so they don't end up maiming each other.
This is also something to be noted to be shared with Lussuria, with his only named attack being in that one group attack with Enma.
Meanwhile Levi and Xanxus are the exception to the "We mostly don't do that" as they do this the most frequently out of all of the Varia.
Levi does so at almost every opportunity. But then again, you look at most of his named moves and it kind of makes sense. If you accidentally walked into the area where he was doing any of those attacks, you may end up completely fried. But he does so with moves that will generally not be helpful to his team mates to know, perhaps it being way too much of a habit at this point for him not to do that with just about everything or the fact that he's almost always vying for attention. Which is likely to his deficit but it's not uncommon for Levi to shoot himself in the foot.
Xanxus makes sense more sense with this knowledge as if you aren't fucking prepared to run you may as well be dust, however his use of them are fairly inconsistent, meaning he doesn't actually care so much about who actually knows what he's doing. Though the use of the names almost feels like it's a promise of death when they are used. Like "you know what's coming and there is NOTHING you can do about it." he typically only calls them out before what will be a direct hit, so it's almost like he waits until he's certain there were will be an almost 100% shot of him actually hitting the attack to choose if he's actually going to call it out.
Someone who probably SHOULD use the name of his attacks is Bel, due to just how much it controls the field, and would be so easy to shred his team mates, but out of laziness/apathy simply doesn't. The only time he calls it out beforehand is also when he's coordinating attacks. Either with Levi in future arc, or when they were attacking Enma. It seems though the actual names of his attacks otherwise, like with Mink's attack that shows up after preformed are actually only flavour text for our sake and not something he actually says, unlike the others who we get their named attacks through someone or themself saying them.
Tumblr media
Mammon is interesting, because the vast majority of their attacks have no names even during their battle the most they call out is "Illusion!", which you think would probably be very very bad for the Varia since illusions affect so very much around them. Until you remember, none of them gave a shit about the illusions they were seeing, that knowing that it's an illusion is probably all they actually need. However when they get their curse unbroken it's much more consistent, taking time to make sure even their team mates know that they're also in danger of Mirage V. Though it's likely more that the ones like Oroborus fall into a more similar vein of them purposely trying to add flare to attacks now that they're at full power and are fighting against someone they kind of feel like they NEED to overshadow.
Now if only Fran actually fought.
This is very much partial speculation of intention due to frequency so, you know how it is. I just think these are kind of interesting things, especially when I notice a lot of people when writing Squalo usually have him call out the attack names himself.

Ok, about Vongola Primo cause I note myself I gonna be back at him.
Honestly, Primo's memory in manga (because I hate the anime filler, ok gonna back to that later) doesn't show us much of Giotto's personality. Sociable or shy? Extroverted or introverted? Talkative or silent? We don't know anything. What I got from eight memories was that he was loyal, had a strong sense of justice.
And reckless, noone could take this from my dead cold body that Giotto, Vongola Primo, was reckless as fuck, and this is why:
- In his 1st memory, he chased a total stranger for God-know distance just to give back a wallet.
Tumblr media
Righteous, yes. But also reckless, considering that their town was "paradise of outlaws." Cozart could be a gang member and following him could be extremely dangerous.
Did Giotto consider that? No, he just saw someone "drop the wallet" and immediately chased after them, no thought whatsoever about that person's identity and whether it may bring trouble if chasing that person.
- So, we knew from Nono's words that Giotto found Vongola at about Tsuna's canon age, which is 14, right? Which is, kids. And I bet Cozart and G couldn't be much older than that, considering that a 4-year difference in age normally caused a generation gap in conversation.
Tumblr media
But okay, just talk about Giotto, then. He was a kid in every sense and he found a vigilante group to fight back larger gangs that can kill someone for not discounting the merchandise and from that, of course not gonna hesitate to kill kids. Keep considering that those "larger gangs" had enough firearms to destroy a house to brick, and we see so much difference between the two forces.
If Giotto found Vongola in 14 is not reckless then I don't know what is.
- He was the don, the very symbol of existence of a famiglia, and the first reaction after the shock when hearing his friend being in the battlefield was to run to that battlefield to save him.
Ok, at this point we can all agree he was a loyal friend that would give you his all, but that's not the main point in this scene.
The main point is Giotto stayed at home, alone, with Daemon, who at that point he knew was a traitor and just planned a whole scheme to kill off his best friend. Stay at home, alone, because the guardians that time were at the battlefield rescued Cozart.
Tumblr media
I don't know whether Giotto was confident in the possibility that Daemon wouldn't attack him directly or confident in his winning even if Daemon chose to attack, but you can't tell me he was reckless with his own life as a chip at that scene.
- And the oath with Cozart too, a gamble on life. With his own children and blood. Giotto solely trusted two families won't conflict and no one had to be in jail when he had no way to control how things would turn out in the future. He didn't even control how Daemon ghosting over Vongola, I don't know if he even think his Mist could exist until more than a centure later. (And if Giotto could control that, what a real lookover we need to do, see how Daemon directly killed all of Enma's family. If Giotto could control his Mist guardian and he let that Flood of Blood incident happen, did that change the whole impression we have on him from the beginning? No, I don't think Giotto even had any control over Daemon's ghosting)
Vindice warned. But he still made the oath while having absolutely no idea what the future may be. Second to ninth gen of Simon were Giotto and Cozart's losing chips and Tenth gen was a win. A close one, because Simon Decimo Gen almost went to jail, all of them. And considering that seven children were all what Simon had, if Enma and his guardians went to jail then this oath was completely done in the worst way possible.
- Now to the smaller hints. Like his conflict with Secondo before retiring to Japan. It was brilliant. It was smart. It was the biggest "fuck you" I even see. Giotto conflicted with the next boss and he had to retire? No, he retired AND CUT THE FAMILY IN TWO. Vongola-Cedef. "No, you are the boss but don't even dare to think for one second that you got the whole power I used to have. You are the boss but your choice on the next boss will and can be affected by my own people. Oh and the rings. Lady Sepira gave it to me. Now split them in two and give half to my people. If your people want to be heir, they need to get agreement from my people and had the other half of the rings."
The founding of CEDEF was badass as hell don't anyone dare to tell me otherwise.
Even smaller details. The forth memory shows that he was in a strategic meeting with his family. Talking about a war. A war that according to Adel, "attempt to conquer all the lands of Europe". (Chapter 297) Okay, we can't say for sure how much the "conquer Europe" thing was true or just a lost tale of history, but the forth memory shows that Giotto had a strategic meeting, this can't be argued. He fought in war, a pretty big one.
And anyone remember his smiling yet fiery words "Give that Mare boy a scare"? Childish, I tell you. Giotto had a personality of a blazing flame with sarcasm under his tender and (appear to be) youthful face. Every single manga panels of his appearance can shown how fiery can he be.
And oh, Giotto was an emotional little teen too, just look at the second memory.
Tumblr media
Did anyone gonna talk about his holding flower, punching wall and shouting about justice while drenching in rain? I will and I gonna say he was emotional as hell. And the other moments when Giotto accidentally knocked the ink bottle over when knowing Cozart was in the battlefield, or when he shouting at Cozart's decision to "going into shadow". You can't look at all of them and tell me Giotto's emotion was not overdrive so many times when he was alive.
On HDW mode, he was a solemn, overpowering authority figure, with a soft sadness in his eyes that somehow contained something unreachable. I really like how in eight memory in Inheritance Ceremony Arc, not a single time Giotto was in HDW mode, and he appeared to be lively and much more human than the symbol Vongola made him to be - there is much more to him than a title and a single number attached to it.
But damn his "more" is so :))) I literally don't know what to say when I finished reading about his scarcely past screentimes. I like his whole new reckless with a bit childish characteristics but that not mean it would cause a whole turnover to me, damn.

Perhaps controversial if you have stage 4 terminal brainrot for hit shonen manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn but in Eng when Xanxus tells Squalo to “get up” in 398 he says “起きろ” (okiro) which can just as easily mean “wake up” and that connotation is very different. “Get up”: I order you to keep fighting, “wake up”: I order you not to die.
Intent within language is finicky, since “get up” is somewhat of a synonym for “wake up” in English too! Do you prefer one over the other?

As far as I can tell, the katekyou hitman reborn fandom is of two minds about whether or not Tduna should become a Mafia Boss.
One side sees his refusal of being the Tenth as linked to shis depression and low self-esteem, believing that he doesn't deserve/can't do things. With this view point, becoming a powerful and respected Mafia Boss is symbolic of his growth away from that mindset and towards one thatclets him thrive.
The other side sees Tsuna being forced to become a Mafia Boss as emblematic of the way he's been talked over and used his entire life. Him becoming Decimo is the bad ending, and a good ending would involve either finding someone else to take over so he can go off and live his life with his guardians or dismantling the Mafia wholesale.
I tend to prefer the first viewpoint, because it makes me feel better about my own depression and it's cooler. I do sometimes enjoy the second though, depending on the fic. I'm not a big fan of the get rid of the Mafia idea though. Besides the fact that dismantling crime never works without addressing the underlying causes first, my interpretation of Flames includes the understanding that Active Flames come with sides of increased stubbornness, territorialism, tribalism, insanity and violence. With that understanding, it suggests that regardless of there being a mafia or not, flame users would still cause mayhem wherever they go. It's better that they do this to each other than to defenseless non-flames users. The Mafia is a useful framework to give flame users community and opportunities to employ violence against each other.

People (including me) emphasize Hibari's distaste for crowding but completely forget that, in the chapter/episode he was introduced in, Hibari participated in a conference with other committee leaders about the room assignments for their respective committees.
This implies that Hibari doesn't mind "crowding" so long as it serves a logical purpose to him, such as reinforcing the discipline of Namimori Middle School. He also never goes against any club gatherings (i.e. Baseball club, boxing club) or school sport events (i.e. volleyball tournament, sports festival), merely ensuring that everyone follows the rules.
However, if members who serve no purpose gather together, it sets him off. Which is why it's emphasized that, when the plant life committee contradicted Hibari's disciplinary committee's assigned room, his problem wasn't that they voiced their opposition to him but that they gathered an unnecessary number of members to do it.
Personally, I read this as Hibari disliking how, when alone, such people would have little to no confidence in confronting him, but suddenly when they group together, they think they're stronger than him? It may be the implied insult to Hibari's strength that gets to him.
This is also supported by his statement that, "The weaker you are, the more you want to be part of a group." Although this is probably obvious, I still want to point out that this implies that Hibari's distaste for crowds stems from his distaste of weakness (in general). He doesn't really mind if strong people gather together because, for him, it's probably just free real estate (i.e. more people to fight).
Hibari's character song, "Akashi", also emphasizes his belief in how the weak will die until only the strong remain, and the continued existence of strong people is his unerring proof.
TL;DR
So with this, we can surmise that Hibari believes in:
Strength/Power
Discipline
Those who continue to live

If KagePro Characters were in KHR...
Marry is definitely a Sky. Her love for and her attachment to her friends is well reciprocated. They died protecting her, like how Elements would for their Sky. And while she didn't exactly die for them, she did turn back time for them. Considering how Combining Eyes attracts the other snakes back to her, it fits the bill for Sky Attraction (canon, fanon, schmanon). "Combining" is also mentioned as an ability of Sky Flame's Harmony attribute. As for her bloodline ability to petrify... well, just go search "petrify" on the KHR wiki.
Kano is a Mist primary, with a Storm secondary. He's almost always putting up a front, hiding his true self behind illusions. He's extremely proficient at pretending to be someone else, to the point where he can even trick himself into thinking he's actually the person he's pretending to be. Physical pain is the only thing that can ground him and dispel his illusions. But what's even worse, is that it's all because he wants to protect them and their happiness so much he hardly ever thinks of his own happiness anymore. Deceiving is an aspect of the Mist. He also has a habit of traumatizing Shintarou by pretending to be Ayano, one of his most traumatic disguises, so...
Momo is a Lightning. She wished for attention, yes, but she also worked for it. If there's anything Momo really wants, it's to be acknowledged by everyone fair and square. She's very eccentric, and her actions are often driven by her whims. And while she does get sad and depressed sometimes, she never stays that way, always looking at the bright side.
Ene is a Cloud and a Mist. Her "territory" would probably be games. Explains so much why she got annoyed when Shintarou beats her at her own game without even trying, but used the bet to her advantage. She's very proud of her gaming skills, and doesn't like it when people don't take her challenges seriously. That's Cloud behavior right there. Also, Haruka appreciated her love for games, that's why she let him into her heart. And her wish, if you remember, is "to be free of human needs". As for the Mist part of her, well, she never got tired of finding new ways to mess with her "Master," did she? (She still finds ways, and Shintarou suffers for it.)
Kido is a Mist. She doesn't deceive so much as she conceals. Where Kano shows something else, Kido is all "nothing to see here" with her power. Still, she tricks the senses of others. And she's also a good leader, coming up with creative ways to support themselves. She never does the work all by herself, though. By hook or by crook, she gets Kano and Seto to help out.
Seto is a well-balanced Rain and Sun. Contradiction, sure, but his personality is very "sunny" and "rainy". He's very active, probably the most expressively happy person in the series besides Ene, who's more playful, and Kano, who fakes it 'til he makes it. He's also the most loyal person there is! Even after seeing bits of the past loops from Marry's mind, he still held out his hand for her.
Shintarou is a Rain primary, with a very minor Sun secondary. He's laid-back most of the time, especially before Ayano died. He's mentally active, understanding more than he lets on thanks to his ability. He'd be a Lightning if he had more ambition. After Ayano died, and after Takane and Haruka went missing, he became very depressed. My headcanon, though, is that the loops where Shintarou gets suicidal isn't many because the Retaining Eyes gives him enough deja vu to think "I couldn't stop it this time again" instead of asking the repetitive "Why?"
Hibiya is a Lightning. He keeps chasing after Hiyori's approval. He's persistent, and never gives up. Seeing Hiyori's interest in Konoha only fans the flames of his determination. He's very blunt, too. And in Kagerou Days, he does everything he can to save Hiyori. Also, Hibiya never thought of sacrificing himself for Hiyori's survival, and that's why he's not a Storm..
Konoha is a Cloud and Rain. His "territory" is his friends. Other than that, he doesn't wish for much else. He's laid-back and passive but also very watchful. He's like a baby, though, so he hasn't matured that much compared to the rest of the Dan.
Haruka is a Lightning and Sun. He's very active, mentally and physically (as much as he can be, anyways). His mind is always filled with things he wants to do. He's the one who drags Takane along to make his wishlist come true. His will is strong enough that even though his new body rejected his spirit, his snake still carried out his wish, though that might also be attributed to the snakes' wish-granting nature
Ayano is both Storm and Sky, in equal amounts. She's very warm and accepting towards her new family. She made them feel wanted and loved. Ayaka may have given Kano, Kido and Seto a house, but Ayano was the one to make it a home. She loved her family to the point of sacrificing herself to the Daze just to stop Saeru's plan from coming to fruition.
If Ayano's Flames combined, it would probably be called the Sunset Flames, a Flame born of passion. It'd counter the Night Flame and soothe the Wrath Flame. "Like the Sunset, it's a flame that burns beautifully, even beyond death. It's a Flame that will never die, even when the body dies, as long as the wielder's resolve burns ever true." (Poetic, innit? Har har. New lore from a ramble.)
Hiyori is a Sun. She's active and stubborn, and she knows what she wants. She's also very intense, as shown in her relationship with Hibiya.
Saeru is Mist and Cloud. His "territory" is his existence. He doesn't tolerate any threats toward his existence, but he plays the long game in eliminating them. He's indignant when Azami "forgot" him, as in, she forgot the wish that "birthed" him. The long game was using her descendant to make a new medusa and then breaking them to the point of returning everything to the beginning. Trapping Azami in the Daze was so she couldn't interfere. He's very creative when he makes the Dan suffer.
I can totally see a crossover-slash-fusion story blooming from the idea of this! So many compatible elements!
For reference, here's @insanescriptist's post on Dying Will Flames and their corresponding personality traits.

Xanxus and Haizaki comparisons
Tumblr media
I've been reading khr & knb and I noticed the similarites between these two. So, I have decided to make it my duty to point out those similarites because I can:
Thier both angry and violent
Have abandonment issues
Gay. Haizaki has alot of internalized homophobia and is misogynistic. Xanxus is very fruity in general.
Mommy and daddy issues. No I will not elaborate. It's just obvious.
Both get thier assess kicked
They both want something but lose it to the main character. (lol can u even consider kise a main character?)
No father. Just mom
lazy
evil. Xanxus gets redeemed thou. Haizaki just goes incognito.
Their the character foils of the main character ie tsuna and kise
Thier the same height. I think? Probably?
Haizaki claims he doesn't care about basketball but does. Xanxus claims he doesn't care about his guardians but does.
No filter
both have the werid laugh
Thier both man-childs
trash
have op powers but get beat by the mcs
best voice actors 💯👌
Get bored easily
nightmares
unresolved trauma
touch starved
Need therapy
In conclusion, I believe thier secretly related. Xanxus is Haizaki's older brother 😂, which would make sense lol.

I love tormenting Hibari, so I propose this!
What if there was a situation in which he'd had to choose between Namimori or the herbivores he'd grown close to? Sounds like it'd be a clean cut case, like he would choose Namimori, but I wouldn't be so sure.
Despite the distance and his general weirdness, he has grown exceedingly attached to his ragtag group of misfits I believe.
So what if he.... Just choose them over his bond to Namimori? What if that choice irreparably changed him? What if he would break his own heart to keep these people save?
.... Would his herbivores finally realize how much they meant to him? Right when it's too late and Hibari might be too hurt to continue some interpersonal relationships?
Would they all... Tsuna, Takeshi, Hayato, Chrome, Ryohei, Kyoko, Haru, even Lambo.... Would they wait for him to come back to them?
Would he want to go back?

COMES IN TO BOTHER YOU. what was the first fic you wrote? do you have any cool keychains/trinkets you carry around? if money and time was no object, what field of study/career would you pursue? what is a book youre currently reading?
WOW SO MANY QUESTIONS I LOVE IT!!
Let's get you some answers then:
First fic
... Already stumped at that one, because damn my memory is so fucking bad. I can't even ruffle through my documents on laptop because when I first started writing I had a different one and I'm not sure if I transfered all the files when I upgraded.
*tries to make the brain do the thinking thing*
I think actually my first try at anything fanfic like was with my super cringy self-insert thing into the Percy Jackson universe. I didn't even know fanfic was a thing at the time and I'm pretty sure I deleted that document because it went absolutely no where, so yeah that was probably it. I was and still kinda am pretty obsessed with Uncle Rick's work, so it's no surprise to me that I tried my hand at writing fanfic without knowing the concept even existed. However I wouldn't be able to tell you what that story was about even if you put a gun to my head so I can't really give you much detail.
Cool keychain/trinkets
Unfortunately no cool keychains for me, I have a heart shaped one my mum got me from her trip to Berlin but that's pretty basic. As for trinkets? Do earrings count? Because I have some pretty dope sword earrings.
The keychain situation might change though, because my friend is going to Japan in May and he promised to get me a souvenir, so maybe I'll have a cool KHR keychain soon (might get something else though who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
Field of study/career
It's a toss up between Writer and Owner of Small Crochet Business. I would love to spent my day just being creative and making stuff. I do like science and I think with all the time I invested in my studies I can say I'm not bad at it but it's not my passion. Like, learning about new stuff is fun and I certainly can do experiments and data analysis but give me the option to simply chill on my couch/bed and just create, I would choose it over science every single time.
I'd probably need to get a better grip on scheduling my day because I realized having a strict routine does wonders for my mental health but otherwise just let me make stuff and I'll be happy.
BOOKS
*stares at all the books in my shelf that I've started but currently don't have the energy to read*
...
You want me to choose just ONE?
Well, if we take the one I read the most recently it's Assisstant to the Villain by Hannah Nicole Meahrer. It's a cozy fantasy romance, easy to read and quite funny at times. I liked the premise so I picked it up and I'm over half way through but my brain is so focused on writing right now, I don't really have the motivation to read (which is very strange since normally it's the other way around.)
Other titles that are gathering dust in my self:
The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch; also funny but in a more serious way, very heavy on the worldbuilding which is awesome but it takes a lot of brainspace so I put it on hold for now.
As Good as Dead by Holly Jackson; I binged the first two books in the trilogy in a day, but this one a bit darker than the others (which makes sense because shit happened) and I need to be in a certain brainspace for that.
The colour of magic by Terry Prachett; I read a lot of Discworld as a kid but I read it in German. This book is my first try reading Prachett in his original glory and it's actually a bit difficult, because again very heavy on the worldbuilding.
I know you only asked for one book, but I'm a chronic oversharer and you asked about BOOKS okay?! I'm bad at controlling myself when it comes to book discussions, so be glad I just kept it to four examples, I could have listed more!

Okay, something very important you are about to learn about me: I am obsessive about many things. One of these happens to be swords and sword fighting, among a few other weapon types but mostly those two. (Also hilariously sharks also are one of these things. Some how neither of these were influenced by khr being a VERY long standing thing.) This post is going to be aggressively long.
And I'll save you guys with a read more. But, in essence what I'm going to be doing here if I'm going to be plainly looking at the three swordsmen, Yamamoto, Squalo and Genkishi's swords, weaknesses and strengths as well as things like battle techniques and generally what you would actually want to do in a fight with those swords. For simplicities sake I'm not going to be factoring in things like Squalo's gunpowder bombs, or flames(which affects a lot of genkishi's fighting sorry dude) and generally things like that. Note there is going to barely be a structure and I'll be writing whatever tangent I happen to think of so like. Good luck. But maybe this'll be interesting for writing.
Now with that clarification out of the way let's dig into the meat here.
Okay obviously we're starting with Yamamoto himself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So, Katana or well standard Katana as there are several classes of Katana. Are about 24 - 31 inches long(or approx 60 - 78 cm long) his blade is a bit longer than this at which point it becomes something known as the "O Katana" set instead of the standard, they're typically used two handed which Yamamoto does use it as a good potion of the time. They're fairly straight blades, and an important factor to note, folding a sword increases it's sharpness, but can make it more brittle and generally depending on the way it's been folded can affect the whole blade to not be capable of blocking hits well, Katana generally are best used when you have clear ways of attacking, though they can be used to block obviously, you'll want to more change the trajectory of the other blade using the curve of yours more than full stop block something you can do more with European blades.
Things I want to point out in the battle this is used before we move on to the irregular swords.
Tumblr media
Yamamoto, while I understand doesn't know much about swords, here's the thing. Though it is a common trope, it you were to hit someone with the back of a blade in a position that does not in fact flex, which i want to note European swords do on the flat of the blade, which will come up later on squalo's section. Hitting someone with the flat, and the back will do fundamentally different things. Yamamoto basically turned his sword into a blunt weapon, if that HAD hit squalo, while it wouldn't have killed him, it WOULD likely break bone and cause internal bleeding the same way taking any pure blunt metal object being swung by a baseball player WOULD DO. WHICH BEING HONEST MIGHT JUST KILL THE MAN ANYWAY.(if Squalo of course, could die. God finds him too funny to let him die)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What gets me here in particular is Squalo's reaction to this. The thing is, this is absolutely not an invalid way of holding a sword. In fact, usually in armor that restricts movements you may adapt techniques that are slightly altered, a lot of ways to hold other weapons can be transferred to a sword, and have been. This way would give the same momentum and range of movement as a swing from a baseball bat, and in fact the only thing strange about this is actually the foot stance, for Squalo to gawk at this, he is either in-experienced with more armoured opponents, or has not encountered that large of a variety of sword technique as others claim he has
(it should be noted he never makes the claims himself except with Shigure Soen Ryu everything we learn about him is from other people. Squalo actually doesn't gloat about his accomplishments and in the manga the only time he calls out what attack he's using is in rainbow arc when he's using his special box weapon move with his exec squad. most of what he says is degrading the opponent or taunts. Patting himself on the back is more of a Levi move-).
Also fun fact about Shigure Soen Ryu, the 6th form is never seen in the series. All we know is that it's a defensive technique. Also how lucky is it they were fighting in a water based arena, half these moves would not go well otherwise-
Now! Moving on, as I cannot possibly tell you shit about swords made of pure flame. I'll be talking about the blades they're originally based on.
Tumblr media
So these "swords" are actually known as Tantō they're basically small daggers about 6 - 12 inches (approx 15 to 30cm) in that were often carried with a longer sword like the Tachi and the katana as a support to the free hand, generally with the idea that if you have a hand that's empty you're either protecting it or using something. you typically never want your whole body face your opponent. something too many of these idiots do. For obvious reasons you want to minimize the space your opponent has to hit. That's why when you see a lot of sword fighting, even with big heavy blades, most of the time the stand their sides more predominantly facing their opponent than straight on.
Anyway, moving on the the Necklace of Rain version X! It's honestly a shame we barely get to see any actual moves outside of the flame stuff.
Tumblr media
Here's something interesting! When dual wielding blades, it's best to actually have two different sized ones, this way you'll be making certain strikes faster and slower, among other things will make it easier to avoid hitting your blades together. You typically do not want to bring your swords in a place where they would meet in a strike, like X motions commonly made in this series, unless they're different sizes or you have enough control to slightly delay one blade more than the other. Otherwise they will clash and depending where the strike would have started, completely prevent the attack!
Other fun fact, this was a common technique with Samurai(one of the reasons it was common however was due to a Japanese law I'm not getting into here. It was not just because of the benefits to it.) Daishō, is typically depicted with a Wakizashi or a Tantō, however the technique itself is with any long blade and a short blade. Given that Yamamoto was already given four Tantō, I'm almost certain despite the length this was intended to be a Wakizashi.
Now, I could absolutely not tell you why one of them has those gaps though. Well other than the obvious "it looks cool" They could potentially be used as gaps like in other blades to catch weapons and disarm opponents, though, these gaps are very big and would more than likely sacrifice the structural integrity of the sword more than they would be useful. If they are smaller they may see more use in that way.
Other interesting fact, there ARE Serrated Katana blades, but. Well they're against the Geneva convention, but also they don't exist in history and is more of a modern thing that was made for """"fun"""". The reason they don't exist in history is because Serrated blades would get caught in the flesh and would be very hard to get out of an opponent... which is also why they're against the Geneva convention.
Now, We'll move onto Squalo, who because unlike this Section of swords, which the Katana, O Katana, Wakizashi look very similar just in different sizes and the Tantō were pretty much as shown(though you'll find prettier pictures of them), I'm going to have to bring up images of what I'm talking about because no one is going to know what the FUCK I'm Saying.
First off, drives me nuts by the way. As you'll soon find out, neither of Squalo's swords is a Spatha. I do not know WHY this is on the wiki, I do not know it's source, I do not know where this information is from nor who identified his sword as such. If it was a decision by Amano themself to call it a Spatha, it is incorrect. As you've seen above, swords just being different sizes alone despite the rest being almost the exact same makes them different swords, with different names. Additionally when you take this over to European blades, there's also a ton of different guards, hilts, shape, whether the blade is flat or not etc to take into account when identifying a blade.
So automatically, whatever sword Squalo has attached to his arm is not a fucking Spatha if it's referring to this.
Tumblr media
Now we'll compare the blade's shape, which as you can see, Spatha actually prefer a round to their edge.
Tumblr media
A fairly close shape to this can be argued that maybe it's a 16 or a 13 blade and he just removed it's hilt, pommel and guard. HOWEVER, we know this blade almost reaches Squalo's ankle when he's standing full height. It's REALLY long, as you can see, the 16 and 13 are more on the shorter end of these blades. and they certainly aren't thin enough. The shorter end of these blades before it goes into GladII range is about as long as his calf. These blades are also evidently thicker than what Squalo has generally.
Also Spatha have grooves like this in the sword which isn't depicted in the overall shape, they have these though can be found with only one they're typically more ornamental or smooth if they have these sorts, they're very flat blades so it's not for the shape. Squalo's blade tends to be more than a flat sheet while it's swung sideways.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This thing is custom made to hell and back and cannot exactly be considered exactly one type of sword other than "Vaguely European". However, if I were to tell you what sword he may have taken for a base I would hand you the Italian Arming sword
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Very long, clear sharp end, has the correct thickness to the blade among other things. He still would have definitely lengthened it to something that generally you would two hand. Which says something about the body strength Squalo has in his arm. Because let me tell you, it does not matter if you can lift 10 pounds easily. If that is distributed over a long length it gets harder and harder to wield and control. Usual physics stuff you know? If you're writing Squalo remember this dude is fucking shredded to carry a sword that's technically a type of long sword with only one fucking arm and swinging it around as if it's not even there. Now that's a man you don't want to arm wrestle. (well for other reasons than just that but really. Generally you do not want this man within arms reach. He will kill you.)
Now for his other sword that is FOR SURE not a Spatha.(I'm sorry this drove me fucking nuts for the longest time, you have to deal with this too if you want sword facts.) We only see like three panels and OH MY GOD CAN I NOT USE THE FIRST FOR SWORD IDENTIFICATION.
Tumblr media
NO SWORD IS FUCKING BUILT LIKE THIS. YOU DO NOT BUILD A SWORD LIKE THIS. ALL THE WEIGHT OF IT IS AT THE END AND THIS IS GOING TO KILL YOUR ARM MORE THAN YOUR OPPONENT. SUPERBI FUCKING SQUALO DO YOU WANT CARPAL TUNNEL? THIS IS HOW YOU GET FUCKING CARPAL TUNNEL(maybe that's why he was fine with cutting off his left arm, but then again then he goes and uses the same blade with his right arm, so if so he learned nothing)
Aside from the VERY obvious blade issue, Spatha do not have hilts pommels or even guards like this, all of them are very kind of, no guard, and shorter hilts, rounded pommels. You absolutely could not get a less Spatha like sword.
Tumblr media
Next, the ones where I could maybe get a proper identification off of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since Amano kind of fucks up his sword in long shots this gives a clearer look at what this is. In the 2nd image it's as thin as a rapier. But I can tell from the length of the hilt this sword in combination to it's blade length is made to be able to switch between two and one hand, one for power the other for reach depending on how you hold it.
This type of sword uh, funny enough is known as a Bastard Sword. This is a category of sword and not a specific type of sword mind you. As is Long sword and other such things. However the categorizing is kind of messy because of different languages using the same word both using the term in the same way and also not. However know now a-days that's how we refer to them, as you can see though
Tumblr media
The only difference is in size and shape is it's kind of prettier.
But generally both swords follow more arming sword/bastard sword shape and size
Tumblr media
Now lemme explain to you why Squalo kneecapped himself by changing swords.
Already I told you the versatility of how these swords will allow you more power and range. But did you know, many of these swords at the time, would purposefully have a dull area you can grab with your hands for even MORE versatility? Essentially if you got stuck in let's say a cramped hallway, you're fighting near allies, or even your opponent is too close to you or even they're wearing armour, you'd be able to wield it like a dagger and give yourself more focused attacks and precision, that you could do better with less risk(this was great at getting into armour gaps). which is something he cannot do now stuck to only wide swings and stabs.
You think that's a pretty bad deficit already? How about the fact he can't change hands, meaning he can't feint opponents with fake swings as easily, that if his opponent is on the wrong side of him he needs to adjust his entire body instead of just switching hands? Normally that isn't a special problem, but Squalo is logically an ambidextrous sword user from the work he put in before getting his prosthetic! So it's a special waste of an advantage. This needing to adjust his whole body leaves him usually facing his opponent full on by accident too.
Not only that either! You know how I said there's a ton of ways to use a sword and even holding it "Strangely" is a valid way to use them? A technique used against armoured opponents is to use these not sharp areas on the sword and basically use the flexible sword as a flail hitting a knight on top of the head with the pommel. I have seen it used and it DENTS armour. and the person inside usually gets stunned hard enough that within a few seconds they'll need to sit down. Imagine what it would do to an unprotected human skull. So saying that a sword was useless against an armoured opponent is very incorrect. Thankfully for Squalo, he doesn't have to fight those.
But regardless on that part, the inability to have the versatility of all of the above makes it seriously impressive that he's even kept his title so long. Man should have lost it ages ago. But then again, in X-Fiamma it was made clear that the Executives weren't allowed to do anything important at least mission wise until Xanxus got back so maybe he also wasn't allowed to got slaughter other swordsman. Maybe the 101 he killed in future arc was to get the blood lust of 8 years out and that's why he's a little more focused.
I do want to point out something here
Tumblr media
This? This is Squalo fucking showing off. and you may not know JUST how much he's showing off here. You see, when you're sword fighting, dodging is the LAST option you want to do. This is because of the fact your brain has an order of operations. Because you know it may send signals quickly but it still has travel time. The LAST thing that will get a message is your feet.
So it is safer and better to block, parry, counter. Dodging also can not only get you injured, it allows your opponent to chase. Because you've moved, you can be pushed backwards further and be controlled that way. Squalo doing this is a taunt in of itself because he should KNOW these things more than anyone else here.
Since Squalo's blade stays the exact same. I'll now just move onto Genkishi's four swords.
So immediately you'll notice, it's our old friend the bastard sword! Meaning while Genkishi doesn't use these techniques I mentioned above he'll be able to if you ever happen to write him.
Tumblr media
However! It does appear his Sword is a little thicker than Squalo's in some panels, and with how he moves them it is VERY stiff, so he wouldn't be able to use them as a flail but as a club instead. Still though, pretty damn effective against an armoured opponent.
Tumblr media
Also this is very silly. For reasons that should be obvious, this wouldn't do shit. Unfortunately despite his very interesting techniques, my notes on his fighting style end here too many illusions <:). I'd love to expand more.
Also if you have any questions!! I'd love to answer them, absolutely obsessed with this kind of this so not only thanks for sticking with me here, but asking any question will probably get you a very long explanation.
Also the reason I didn't go into sword techniques much, just know we actually have no idea the maximum number of certain techniques for the blade there are, just there's "best ways of practice" and certain moves you'll occasionally see, but most of it is working on the fly. Just for the Katana alone there would be an estimate of 1000+. Insane that Squalo thinks he's seen them all.

Next to the previous topic ‘bout Vongola Primo was a (or used to be) reckless, childish, emotional young man.
We have Cozart as the same, too.
(Just not as emotional as him, I’ll explain later. But on the craziness level, boy.)
Again, onto the very first memory of their meeting.
Let us reconfirm something before we get to this scene: The founder trio (Giotto - G - Cozart) lived in what was called “paradise of outlaws” and they didn’t know each other beforehand.
Now, just insert yourself in Cozart’s position here. Just imagine there is a stranger chasing you for god-know time and distance in a street notorious for crime or something, that is enough to make you run for your life whatever purpose your chaser claims.
(And as Cozart had a family member in this town, it had nothing to do with him being the town resident or a faraway guess visiting for a short period. You have a family member in crime street and you don't know about its reputation? Your family member also don't warn you about that reputation? Unlikely)
And let hear about their purpose: to give you back a wallet you just DROPPED AWAY AS A CHARITY.  Logic thinking in that case should be: 1, they stole my wallet from Pablo or 2, they fake my wallet, now they are approaching me with god-known intention. Because let's face it, someone from the paradise of outlaws says they're gonna give you back your wallet you dropped. (Notes that at the same time, some people (for example, Paolo, the one founder trio try to help in the memory) didn't even have enough to have a meal for days. The problem of money was highlighted in this scene, make it more logically impossible for such good deed as "paying back the money I picked up accidentally") Not everyone who lives on a crime street is a criminal, but better safe than sorry. Better safe than sorry, so the logical action in this scene is to walk away. Right?
Simon Cozart, definitely a teen: no precaution whatsoever. Dunno if they are gangsters, let's stop and chat.
If Giotto was lucky Cozart was not a gang member so he could chase the redhead without any consequence of getting himself in trouble, Cozart was also lucky in this scene that Giotto and G were indeed good people and had no intention further than giving him back the wallet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Onto the 2nd memory.
He was the first one suggesting the trio be vigilantes.
Of course, there was nothing wrong with that, no.
If we let it slide that there was a collapsed house and a dead body in front of them, Cozart himself holding two children and he still suggested yes they were gonna fight them.
I think even the stupidest person on Earth at that time must realize that this was not kid kicking and screaming in sandbox, this is life-and-death fight. And people who could kill someone for not discounting the mechandise (by 90%, what a nonsense proposal) of course would not hesitate to do the same to the one who opposed them.
There is nothing wrong with Cozart suggesting, I repeat. Treating violence by using violence is not the best way to resolve violence, but it is a resonable way that when time calls, we need to use it. Besides, when you are surrounded by a criminal and you live so goody-two-shoes, you will soon be kicked out figuratively and literally of the community you live in. It sounds ironic, but violence in the case of the Primos was a way of fitting in.
But Cozart’s suggestion is not the main point. The thing I want to mention here is his ATTITUDE when he suggested it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He was so goddamn sure, so sure like how he thought Giotto can be a good leader at such a young age, that they were gonna fight, AND SURVIVE.
Cozart said that they would protect their people, they couldn't protect people if they died as a useless meat shield right at the very first moment they showed their face to the bad guys, right? So when Cozart said fight he meant fight AND SURVIVE.
Now let's revive the situation.
Their opponents were like, all the gang threatening their hometown. At least had enough bomb/dynamite to completely destroy a brick house. And what about the founder trio? 14, maybe around that. Aka again, kids. Yet Cozart was still so confident that yes, they would kick their ass, they could protect the people they loved, they could win against those bad bastards.
I tell you, if Vongola Primo was reckless 'cause he founded Vongola in 14, the one who gave him that idea undoubtedly must be much, more, reckless.
There is a chance, a small possibility, that Giotto already led a gang (or at least a number of people) at that time, so Cozart had the chance to witness his friend’s leadership to be so confident like that. But in that case, was it a little absurd about Cozart’s words, “Noone else will help us”, or Giotto’s helplessly fiery attitude and action of refusing to see the town being suffered? Like, Giotto’s leading a gang meant that he had his own people, his own force who would help him in need, why he had to act so helplessly and why Cozart had not to mention them? So I’m gonna stick with the founder trio, around-14, as teenagers who had absolutely nothing on their hand other than a mad and fiery stubbornness and later a flame blazing when they chose to fight against the larger gangs who abused their town.
By the way, with that attitude, there was no way Cozart (and by extension, Giotto and G too, 'cause Cozart included them) had not fought before. Be street fight or home-trained, he definitely must fight before, and a lot, to have a cornerstone to trust in their strength like that. (I may go with street-fight experience, because Cozart’s choice of weapon is a glove, close-ranged combat. Home-trained fighting in an old family should be long-ranged one like swords, right?) No information to talk about their flame, but enough hints that, talking about fighting experience, the founder trio had a handful of that before deciding to be vigilante.
Coming back to the first memory, they stopping to talk when knowing absolutely nothing about others also meant they were confident of their ability to at least defend themselves if things went bad.
The third memory. God, I absolutely have no words to tell you how speechless I am at this scene.
Because, simply conclude, Simon Cozart,
What the flying fuck was wrong with you?
He realized it! Realize it was not Giotto who wrote the letter! That the letter was fake! That there was something wrong! Then why did he still go???
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know later on he reasoned that he was worried about Giotto because he realized Vongola had a traitor. But that had nothing to do with him heading straight to the battlefield? Anyone can see a better option that Cozart could visit Vongola as a friend to check up on Giotto’s situation. Don’t blame the letter, the letter said absolutely nothing of Giotto being in that battlefield. And even if that was the case, why did Cozart have to stay so long on that damn land to the point of being injured so much like that if he thought Giotto was on the battlefield? He could just… come and quick check, right?
And if Adelheid’s story was true, (at least true on the part of Cozart bringing 50 men with him) Simon Primo had brought 50 men versus an army of 20,000 people - 400 times larger than the Simon in number, let aside power. So, choose your preference. That either Simon Cozart was a war maniac or he was suicidal, or both. No other explanation.
Finally, onto the oath, which, now we can all agree that outside the purpose of binding two families together, was a completely reckless gamble with more than 70% of going so down.
Before getting in: no, I understand Cozart’s logic of suggesting the Simon “going in the dark.” Let’s keep aside the matter of him thinking for Giotto, not pushing his dear friend into choosing between him, the Simon family, and Daemon, Giotto’s guardian. Yeah, keep that aside. First, if G and Giotto chose to punish Daemon, Vongola couldn't take it. Vongola couldn’t afford for a fight within the family itself when it was at war with numerous enemies. Second, if the enemies knew Giotto sent one of his guardians - one of his most trusted people - just to rescue a family, they definitely gonna knew that this "family" must be something special. Be Vongola Primo's weakness or just a special mystery, Vongola's enemy was definitely gonna attack the Simon too. No one wanted his family being targeted like that, especially when the whole family and even the boss himself just got out of a life-and-death situation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So yes, "going into the dark" was the most logical way to sort things out at that time. And no one could even think Daemon could live that long, more than a century. (The oath flame was NOT born to be the trump card against Daemon. Simon stated its purpose is to prove that two families had become friends again)
Tumblr media
So yes, I understand Cozart's way of thinking about keeping quiet pretending that they all died.
But don’t misunderstand me, what the hell was the cruel fate Cozart brought into his children’s fate?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vindice warned. That if the oath was broken, there would be fight, and they would imprison the losers 'til the day of death. Cozart was still okay with that. Even confidently let the Vindice to "free to do what they want".
This is not even reckless anymore. This is borderline crazy. (And yes I'm looking at you too Giotto, where was your hesitation moment before?)
I would not talking about how Cozart not left a note or something to warn his children that don't fight Vongola. Maybe Daemon as Julie erased it. Or it was lost in time, more than century had gone by. Either ways, in this bet, Cozart was lucky Tsuna wanted to save Enma, or else this gonna be a complete lost.
See, Simon's Primo screen time was so little but he appeared to be complete crazy and reckless. And you know what is the scariest part? That Simon Cozart inside may be completely reckless and crazy but he appeared so calm and collected. Calm and collected, as the rule of manga drawing - round dialogue bubble 💬 usually portrays a calm, even tone, thus also an even emotion that doesn't not waver much from normal, while pointed dialogue bubble 🗯️ commonly shows a high voice, usually a scream or crying out in strong emotion like shock and anger. In eight memories, the number of times he had pointed dialogue bubbles, showing he was on high of emotion, was so few. Even when Cozart thought Daemon's men were going to kill him, this was his words and expression:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He only raised his voice in ONE sentence. Every words other than that was spoken in such fluent and calm attitude, as the bubble dialogues were round and no words was missed.
Most of his bubble dialogues were round, showing a calm demeanour, and three times he talked the most was when he reasoning - one was to found a vigilante gang, two was the above scene when he explained why he knew of the Vongola traitor, and three was when suggesting “going into the dark.” Cozart appeared to be someone reasonable and collected, that only applied when we didn't look into his actions.
Vongola Primo was fierce. He was a blazing flame. And that blazing flame had, out of total bewilderment, shouted two times at this person's face. Not to mention being drove to speechless one. That said a lot about the level of craziness and who is more reckless than who in this relationship.
One more note: Enma definitely inherited his ancestor’s risk-taker gene.
This Simon Decimo participated in two arcs. The very debut arc, he, with six people, six CHILDREN, waged a war with the top family of the mafia world. He didn't give a damn about Vindice when Vindice entered the island. Then in the next arc, he soloed 1 vs 4 trained assassins of Varia despite being, you know, kid.
This runs in the family I stand no objections.

Reading KHR in Japanese (4)
In Japanese, we can get a person's character and personality by the way of speaks. How about :
Byakuran
First person : "Boku"
Second person : Their name / "Kimi"
On the whole : Lightly,Brightly,Childlike
In a good way or a bad way, It's very light. He speaks to people like a close friend or like a mischievous child. His speaking style is optimistic but his mood is stable. He sometime plays funny and makes fun. But this is the reason why makes people scared. He says very, very fearful things lightly like it is nothing. Then, in a moment, we suddenly realize that he is truly a terrible ruler. Just like a child who can't distinguish between right and wrong. Anyone who knows him knows that you mustn't offend him, no matter how gentle he seems.
His speaking can be described as youthful, but it never be felt underestimated. When he shows his horrible side, the words chosen are very cruel. His way of speaks is a bit one-sided nuanced. He speaks to know he will win the negotiation, and enjoys the conversation. He lets his pieces play on the board. And enjoys their reaction, but he is not looking for sympathy or praise, but rather there is a nuance that his behavior is natural. Like " I DO. You understand. Don't you?"
So far, it was about him in Future arc. We get a different impression of him in the Future arc and the Arcobaleno arc. This is evident in the way he speaks. This is a complex issue that leaves everyone with the impression, "I don't know why, but I could feel he is change." He is almost the same, but something is different. That's how we feel. So, let's try to analyze this somehow!
First, let me give you my brief findings. Yamamoto described him as "be cleared" or "he changeed kind of his intimidation". Maybe the English translation is different, but I think "clear" plays a good role in understand his change. In Japanese, there is an metaphor that a person who has been obsessed with something bad becomes a different atmosphere completely when it is exorcised. He was just like that.
There are many different analyses of who he was and what he was thinking. Therefore, it is not possible to speak of change in general. But one might say that he has come to enjoy the world. There are nuances of one-sided, conversational enjoyment still. And Tsuna or Syoichi is puzzled by him. But it seems a bit like a mean big brother, no shadow of a scary ruler.
I haven't yet finished my own analysis of him. So here is what I perceive for now. I think he has a bird's eye view of the world in the Arcobaleno arc. I think he is interested in how the world, his friends and lots of people were changing. He gave the world away. The world is no longer be his board. So he seems a little distant from people. Neither is a bad meaning. He came to enjoy things that didn't go his way or that he didn't understand or can't control. His childlike way of speaking does not change. But he changed, like child who interest in everything or enjoy chemical experimentation. This is the MY opinion constructed from the nuances of the Japanese language.
Interestingly tips. He add to "♪" at the end of the sentence. This shows fun mood. It also used in Future arc sometimes, but in Arcobaleno arc it is added to most of the says. Looks like fun ♪
He uses first person "Boku". In this case, we feel more childlike than polite or elegant. He calls people by their name. And basically, he uses the suffix "Kun" or "Chan". No matter others gender. It gave us a close nuance, but he uses it for everyone so may seem a little distant. He has called Reborn and Bluebell without the suffix. Or he sometimes take out this suffix when he is very angry. Or "Kimi" is also used.
He used "Kisama" once, for Yuni when she showed up at CHOICE. There are nuances of surprise, anger and upset there. He calls Yuni without suffix on such situation. However, he is smart enough to call out "Yuni-chan" immediately and try to resolve the situation. He knew Syoichi to betray him. And he enjoyed observing such behavior of Syoichi. But he didn't expect Yuni whom he thought had become a complete puppet, to turn against him. He used this second person pronoun only once, it was the very moment his board was disturbed for the first time.
His speaking is consistently jovial, naughty childlike, and lighthearted. But in this, we can see his intelligence, capacity, brutality, and curiosity. Or we feel even he is innocence by way of speaks and the changes. However, in the scene where he and Tsuna come to an end, he was indeed the most 'inhuman' enemy with his brutality, his strong anger, disappointment, uncontrolled, and elusive fearfulness. This gap makes him a unique, charismatic, and memorable character.

Ask Game: List 5 things that make you happy, then put this in the askbox for the last 10 people who reblogged something from you! get to know your mutuals and followers (>w<) <3
Five more things that make me happy!!
1. My friends over at @rebo-chan 's space 💕
2. Superbi Squalo - he's my absolute comfort character and I will never shut up about it, you won't find me making super specific character analysis (except for once when rebo and @zoroara made the mistake of asking for my opinions on it and I would. not. stop stressing how much that man needs a break) because my brain is very smooth and goes by the very simple logic of "fish = good", but I will absolutely listen to the rest of the world ranting about how much his hair is unkept or what's his favourite movie genre-
3. Getting to know other people's OCs! I myself was terrorised by another fanfic writer at the start of my journey because "OCs are never well received in fandoms". (which was ... blatantly false for the KHR fandom??), so I try to be as supportive as possible of others' OCs. Creativity must be preserved in a world where it keeps being oppressed and monetized, so I'll be here to listen to your OCs ramblings anytime!! 🩵🩵🩵
4. The scents of vanilla and tea tree;
5. My sweet stray friend that comes to visit everyday 🖤🤍
