Me: *putting the kiddo to bed (she's finally started sleeping in her big-girl bed)*

Kiddo: I'm not sleepy!

Me: Yes you are.

Kiddo: No I'm not!

Me: Yes you are. You just told me you were sleepy and that's why we're going night-night.

Kiddo: Nooo I'm not tired. I won't sleep.

Me: Yes you will. Good night.

Kiddo: Not sleepy.

*two minutes later*

Kiddo: *is completely zonked out in bed*

#adventures in babysitting #i've been seeing her pretty regularly the past few months every other friday #it's fun but tiring so i'm glad her nighttime routine is significantly shorter than it used to be #once she's down she's usually out in less than 5 minutes #kinda jealous tbh #it's easier now that she's in her own bed and doesn't need me to stay by her in the couch for two hours making sure she doesn't wake up #though i do kind of miss watching Sabrina while i waited #been remembering a lot of what it was like when she was little and i saw her every day #sometimes i really miss it and wish i could go back #but it's been great seeing her grow and getting to be proud of her 'big girl' accomplishments

My mom bought my dad this special box he can put near the bird feeder (he's obsessed with the bird feeder) and it records all the birdsong in the area and then sends a report to his phone about what type of birds came by and how many times they made noise and today the family group chat has received nothing but tiny audio clips of birds singing. He's never been so happy.

I really hope Mizu and Taigen never end up together. I don't exactly dislike Taigen's character but I don't see him with Mizu. It would be so forced to me. "he bullied you in past and now likes you" trope is so shitty in my opinion. So overused, so boring, so cliche. It's doing nothing to me.

I don't see Mizu with Akemi either. As much as I want Mizu with a girl (mostly because I need a confirmation that she's indeed wlw), I don't think they're compatible. I don't see Mizu with anyone at this point. I don't think she needs a love interest. Not all characters need one, plus her past would make sense why she wouldn't want it.

Anyways, if Mizu does end up with Taigen I'll be very disappointed. I lied a little bit when I said I didn't dislike him, he is very annoying to me. He's not bad, just annoying, uninteresting and unfortunately very boring. He does nothing for me as a character.

ok jk but if Gortash genuinely brought up wanting to lose weight Cas would (more subconsciously than anything) manipulate him until he just... drops it😖 I doubt Gortash would ever bring it up and seriously plan on doing it since he's you know, letting Cas do all of that for a reason but Cas would take it so soooo very personally like Cas would actually be deeply hurt by it. Going through the emotions type of reaction he'd go from being angry to literally being sad nd having a mental breakdown over it tbh

Cas he's kinda... this is from an outside perspective obviously he would never describe it as such but it's a weird act out of love and affection (which makes sense if you consider that he was always seen nd treated as a weapon that only brings harm so his ways of showing love is weirdly destructive). So if Gortash genuinely wanted to lose weight he'd have the same reaction as he would if he got rejected, and Cas has INSANE issues with rejection (smth smth the reason why he strives for perfection physically is also out of his fear of being declined or rejected). Anyways if it came to it Cas would very much try and manipulate him in an effort to keep what he wants the most (which is Gortash, yes, and technically it's not about the weight however, again, him wanting to lose it would literally sound the same as him saying he doesn't want Cas to "own" him anymore to Cas) nd it would lean into directions of like.... "I'm literally giving you everything, making sure you're alright and you can't even give me THAT?"
