Giving: gift giving, acts of service

Well, it is a very well known fact that Francois is an excellent cook who loves to share their passion with others. They will make sure you get the most excellent of their pastries, and if you’re not a big fan of sweets, don’t worry – Francois will make sure to prepare some salty snacks for you. And if they hear you talking to anybody about craving any type of food, be sure you'll get it the next day for the adequate meal!

Receiving: acts of service, words of affirmation

Since Francois spends most of their time on cooking, they don’t have that much energy left to complete other chores. Make their bed, sweep the floor and leave a cup with water beside their bed and trust me that it won’t go unnoticed. Also, don’t forget to compliment the food that they make! Say a few nice words about it and tell how pretty Francois looks when they are focused, and watch as your partner turns all flustered and red!

Kinro

Giving: acts of service, quality time

Just look at Kinro and tell me he won’t be doing things you didn’t even ask him for, just to make your life easier. You can’t? Exactly. He will do anything that you have even the slightest problems with and more. Kinro also loves when the two of you can find some time in your busy schedules just to waste by going on a walk or laying in tall grass, talking about everything and nothing.

Kinro is not the best at starting any form of physical affection with his loved one. He’s a bit shy when it comes to this department. But it’s not like he doesn’t like it – in fact, it’s quite the opposite… Holding his hand, surprise hugging him from behind, peppering his face in kisses – it makes the butterflies in his stomach go crazy! Also, find some time to spend with him. Even 5 minutes will make Kinro the happiest man in the whole world!

Ryusui

Giving: words of affirmation, quality time

Oh, he will compliment everything about you. Especially things you’re insecure about. He may call everyone beautiful, but, in his eyes, you definitely take the trophy. Ryusui loves when you spend time with him while he’s working on his projects. He’s a bit clingy, and hates to be apart with the one he loves. So if your work requires you to be in a specific space, he’ll follow you around! He can draw a project of a ship even on a dusty floor if it means he can spend time with you!

Receiving: words of affirmation, quality time

Ryusui loves to be praised. Tell him that he’s done a good job. That he looks handsome. That he’s a good boy! Tell him every positive thought that comes to your mind when you see his snarky smile! Say that he’s the smartest! And spend time with him. That’s obvious after what I’ve written above. If you can complete your work by his side, he’ll insist that you stay with him. Even if you two will only be sitting in silence, doing your own stuff, he loves the aspect of you being around.

Senku

Giving: acts of service, words of affirmation

We’ve seen Senku doing things for the people he cares about to make their life better. He’s a person who wants to help everyone by nature. So it’s not a surprise when one day you bitch about a thing in your life that brings you inconvenience, and after a few days Senku gives you an invention that’ll make your problem disappear! He also gives you a bunch of words of affirmation. But don’t even think that they’re compliments. Senku always tells you that he’s only stating facts! 

Receiving: words of affirmation, quality time

Just as much as Senku adores the way your face turns red when he tells you compliments facts, his ears change their color red when you do the same to him! He knows that he’s doing a good job. He doesn’t need reassurance. But your words… are just so nice… it makes this nice warm feeling form in his chest! Senku has issues with overworking himself. So he’s always glad when you smack the back of his head, forcing him to take it easy and rest for a bit. Especially if it can be done in a nice company.

Tsukasa

Giving: acts of service, physical touch

It’s really hard not to give everyone acts of service. But just look at this precious boy! He wants the best for his loved ones! Of course he’ll do things you haven’t even asked him for, just so you don’t have to worry about them! He’s also a big fan of your touch. Stroking your face lovingly with his thumb, kissing your forehead before sleep! He always wraps his arm around your waist or holds your hand when you’re in a crowd, so that he’s sure you’re by his side.

Receiving: physical touch, words of affirmation

Do the same with Tsukasa! Treat him like a babygirl that he truly is! Wrap your arm around his waist, and if you’re strong enough, keep him on your knees when you talk about your days! Call him your pretty boy! Brush his hair and put flowers in it! Make him feel like a prince! He feels stupid because of this, but he loves when you baby him like that! Ofc it’s only for you to see.

Can I request a scenario for tsukasa shishio as a demon (I’ll let you choose what kind of demon he is) in inuyashas world with his young half demon daughter. They get sucked through a portal into the stone world where Senku and the crew are (after stone world tsukasa gets revived) and demon tsukasa and his daughter meet stone world tsukasa and company.

There is a theory that every decision spawns a new universe. These are called parallel universes, and if each decision spawns a new one they should, in theory, slowly become unique universes. For example, if Chrome throws a rock at Kohaku there is a universe where he doesn’t, and a universe where she throws the rock at him, and a universe where they don’t even exist.

Tsukasa thought drunk Senku was making things up. Maybe spent a bit too much time with Gen. How did he go from Chrome not throwing a rock to Chrome and Kohaku not existing? The scientist had passed out before he could ask, and Tsukasa didn’t care enough to ask later.

He’s starting to think he maybe should have.

“And this… machine… brought us here?”

“We’re still trying to figure out how,” Xeno said, flipping through his clipboard, “it was only designed to transfer data. Bringing physical beings here is a complete anomaly.”

Xeno looked up at the man and noticed Tsukasa out of the corner of his eye. He waved him over. “Tsukasa, thank you for coming.”

The man’s ears twitched, and his tail flicked aggressively, as he turned around to see the new arrival. His ears quickly flattened against his head, as he took up a defensive pose that Tsukasa matched just as quickly.

Xeno, who’d turned back to his clipboard, completely ignored the two as he spoke again.

“Tsukasa Shishio the human, meet Tsukasa Shishio the demon. Tsukasa Shishio the demon, meet Tsukasa Shishio the human.” He paused, looked up at something behind the demon Tsukasa, and spoke again, “Mirai, meet human Tsukasa.”

A young girl cautiously poked her head around the demon Tsukasa. The demon placed one hand protectively on her arm, keeping her tucked behind him, even as the human Tsukasa dropped his guard. Mirai gave a small wave before clutching Tsukasa’s cloak and hiding her face in it.

“Oh, Tsukasa, I see you’ve met our new friends,” Senku said, strolling up to them with a yawn.

“I suppose there’s an explanation for this?” Tsukasa asked, waving at the two doppelgangers.

“Magic.”

Now that was a word he never thought Senku would use.

“Magic?” Tsukasa raised an eyebrow suspiciously. “Can’t everything be explained with science?”

“Different universe, different rules.” Senku shrugged. “Anyways, you’re on diplomatic duty today. No one knows you, better than you after all.”

Without any further explanation, the two scientists headed off and left the three alone.

Tsukasa tried to look around the other Tsukasa, only for his view of Mirai to be blocked by the man’s tail. Mirai, in turn, went up on her toes to look over it, her ears twitching curiously. She stared at him intently for a moment before looking up at the demon Tsukasa.

“Papa,” Tsukasa’s eyes widened before scrunching up in confusion, “he smells like you.”

“So, she’s your sister in this world?” Shishio, the demon Tsukasa, asked, watching as his daughter and the other Mirai hunted for shells along the shore.

Suika had joined them, letting Chalk dig around in the mud and find hidden shells for the girls. She was positively thrilled at the idea of watching two Mirai’s as the two Tsukasa’s talked.

The human Tsukasa nodded. “And she’s your daughter?” Shishio nodded, watching as his daughter squealed and threw a shell as a crab crawled out. The two chuckled. “And her mother…”

He wasn’t really sure what he was asking. Was it someone he knew in this world? Did anyone from this stone world even exist in the other world? Maybe Mirai’s mother wasn’t even alive anymore.

“Never mi-”

“She’s no longer with us. She was human, and believe it or not Mirai is almost five hundred years old.”

“My sister is over three thousand, appearances can be deceiving.”

“For a world lacking in magic, it is quite impressive.” His light tone turned solemn as he asked, “Your Senku, how much faith do you have in him?”

“I owe him my life, he will do everything he can to return you both to your world.”

“Very well.” They fell into silence for a moment, watching the run away from the tide as it washed back up, before Shishio made another point. “This,” he waved at the two Mirais, “is incredibly strange.”

“Most definitely.” Tsukasa agreed, before the two started laughing at the absurdity of the situation.

“Big brother!” Mirai, the stone world Mirai, yelled, waving at the two. “Come play with us!”

By dinner time the two girls, and Suika, were completely exhausted to the point they were falling asleep at their table. They would slowly slump down until their heads knocked against each other and they startled awake again. Shishio had already draped his cloak around them, like a blanket, to keep the cool evening air out.

Tsukasa was pretty sure the half-demon Mirai was purring.

“They're so cute,” Ginro cooed, and startled the Mirais awake again, earning himself an elbow to the side from Kinro and a shush from Minami.

“If you’d like I can take them to bed,” Francois offered, removing their apron as they returned from delivering meals to the scientists.

“It’s alright, we’ll take them in a minute.”

“You know,” Yuzuriha said, “seeing you all fatherly isn’t as weird as I thought it would be.” The sharp look from the two Tsukasa’s made her jump as she rushed to explain herself. “I-I mean you take su-such good care of Mirai, I didn’t mean anything bad I swear.”

“She’s right,” Minami hummed, resting her chin on her palm. “It’s cute.”

Out of the corner of his eye, Tsukasa notices Shishio’s ears turn slightly red. Oh, he feels his face heat up as he coughs awkwardly.

“I think we should get these two to bed.”

“But you aren’t done your dinner?”

“It’s fine,” Tsukasa said, scooping his sister up as Shishio picked up his daughter with a  chuckle.

“If they aren’t gonna finish this, can I?”

“Ginro have some manners.”

Senku

Quality time. Senku is pretty low-key with how he shows his love, and prefers the same in return. He's never going to be super physically affectionate or lovey-dovey; but he's going to want to be near you, just talking about whatever, a lot more often and for longer than he would even tolerate being around pretty much anyone else.

Gen

Physical affection; Hear me out, I bet Gen is really cuddly when he has a romantic partner. Lots of surprise hugs, cheek kisses, and hand holding. He's not especially shy about doing any of these things around other people, but it's definitely more frequent in private.

Taiju

Physical affection and words of affirmation. Seriously, dating Taiju just means a never-ending stream of hugs and cuddles and him telling you how much he loves you and how great you are.

Yuzuriha

Acts of service; Yuzuriha is a helper at her core, and it will show through in your relationship. If you have a task you're doing and she isn't busy with something else, she'll help you; and obviously, she'd greatly appreciate if you'd return the favor.

Ryusui

Gifts. I bet Ryusui is the best at gift-giving. Especially before the petrification, but even in the stone world where he can't just buy you whatever you want anymore, he still finds a way to get you things he knows you'll like.

Francois

What else would it be? Acts of service, with maybe a hint of gift giving. Francois was born to serve, so if you absolutely hate a chore, they will do it for you, you don't even have to ask- just have fun never doing the dishes again. They know just what foods you like and what you don't like and are more than happy to make you your favorite dish, so long as they have the time and resources.

Chrome

Acts of service. When he really cares about someone, he'll do pretty much anything for them. That much is clear from how he spent years trying to find something that could cure Ruri. He would do the same for you, and anything else you needed.

Kinro

Words. Kinro is a man of few words, but that just makes the words he does say all the more meaningful. When he says he loves you, that he'll always be there for you, you know he always means it.

Ginro

Physical affection. Ginro would win the award for World's Clingiest Boyfriend with the way he practically hangs off of you every chance he gets. He's definitely not the least bit shy about PDA.

Kohaku

Acts of service, but not quite in the traditional way; she isn't so good at doing chores or whatever (she might still try, though) so her acts of service are more along the lines of defending you if someone's bothering you, or carrying you if you're hurt or sick and having a hard time walking.

Tsukasa

Physical touch, but he's pretty low-key about it. He doesn't do a lot of hugs or anything (that's not to say none, but they aren't his primary way of showing affection), but smaller gestures like placing a hand on your shoulder or back and quick kisses are pretty common.

Hyoga

This one was kinda hard because Hyoga isn't exactly the loving type in general, but I'm going to say quality time. Just the fact that he's not just willing, but wants to be near you should say a whole lot about how he feels about you.

Ukyo

Words of affirmation; he tells you he loves you every day. He feels it's the best way to make sure there are no doubts as to how he feels about you.

Nikki

Physical touch; look at her and tell me she isn't amazing at giving hugs. The muscular arms that can beat the crap out of a guy twice her size can also lovingly hold you like you're the most precious thing in the world (because you are, of course). She does get shy about PDA near other people, though.

Yo

Gift giving. Yo acts tough but he can be surprisingly sweet when he really loves someone. He's the kind of guy who will search through the forest all day just to find some pretty flowers to give you. He also likes to show off your relationship and brag to everyone else about how he has the hottest girlfriend/boyfriend/partner, which I think counts as words of affirmation?

was it the way he holds on to his beliefs? or was it the way he takes every matter seriously─ which you find yourself going to him for childish rants about how the weather is too hot or how the skies has to be stupidly pretty at night. or was it because of his annoyingly good-looking face? or was it all of the above?

you don't realize when you fell in love but somewhere along the line of being childhood friends and spending an awful lots of time together, you did.

and from that moment onwards, his occasional stare at you bothers you more than it should have. it's a habit he picks up from being a bodyguard. looking out for everyone had become a second nature to him. which is why you tell yourself you don't stand a chance.

because kinro looks at you the same way he looks at everyone else.

"sorry. did i stare too long?"

ah. talk about timing.

with a shake of your head, you brush his concern off. "nah, don't worry about it. it's not you, was just thinking about something." "something?," he enquires. and here goes nothing.

"do you have someone you like?"

his eyes widen momentarily before he purses his lips. "that's unexpected..─," he scans his surroundings and at the lack of his twin's presence, he continues. "─but i do." and you want to slap your mouth so hard when a direct 'who' left your lips like a loose cage.

kinro's eyes bore into yours for a few seconds, a blank expression on his face. "why do you want to know?" you feel heat slightly creeping up your cheeks when you awkwardly smile. "aren't we childhood friends? i don't know, isn't that normal?"

"y/n." he simply says.

your eyebrows furrow in confusion. "yeah? who is it?" he turns to you in slight disbelief, eyes slowly blinking as he mutters something under his breath. you watch as he hides his face behind his hand─ another habit of his, this time not out of his job, and he only does this when he's super embarrased which to say the least, happens like twice in a lifetime.

he gives you a glance. "i said it already. i like y/n." and you feel like a deer caught in headlights when the excitement suddenly bubbles inside you.

so he does like you back?!??

it slips past your mind that his face is red, you're too busy minding your own heartbeat when you smile at him.

"and it just so happens i like kinro too."

you let out a chuckle when he instantly whips his head the other way, the tips of his ears are becoming insanely redder. and when ginro comes back from his rest, confused with kinro not daring to hold eye contact with you, you only giggle. "nothing." you walk away to find the others, not before planting a kiss on kinro's cheeks. and now he has to deal with ginro's teasing for at least two months. great.

You walked into Senkus laboratory. He was working on something again. "Senku?" You called, since he didn't seem to notice you. "huh [name] what are you doing here?" He asked. "Gen said you should take a day off. You didnt sleep for 5 days now. Don't overwork yourself" you said with the soft voice of yours. "I won't" he turned around, working on his experiment again. "you... really" You went over to him and hugged him from behind. "[name] wha-" "everyone is worried about you" You told him. he didn't response nor did he move.

"fine... I will take a break" he broke the silence. You let go of him. "really?" "yea but only for a hour" he said and sat down on a chair. You gave him a soft smile then looked around. Everyting was a mess. You decided to clean up for him so you could meanwhile keep an eye on him.

While you were cleaning Senkus lab you noticed how he was watching you the whole time. But since it didn't bother you, you just ignored it. Then after one hour you were finally finish. You looked around to check if you weren't missing something and nticed that Senku was sleeping with his head resting on the table.

Kohaku saw you and said "hey [name], Gen is teaching us that magican stuff. you came to watch too?" "'magican stuff'?" you repeated and looked at Gen. He was teaching some some of the Ishigami villagers some basic magic tricks. Your heart felt warm as you saw him that happy to teach others. "yea i guess I'm going to watch too" you said and sat down next to kohaku.

Some minutes passed and Ginro and Kinro were walking by. They saw you staring at Gen and Ginro had an idea.

"huh? why are you all here isn't it time for your reading class" he said loud, catching everyones attention. "ginro what are you talking abou-" poor kinro immediately got hit by Ginro in his face. "Ginro what the fu-" Ginro cut him off "Come lets go or do you guys what ta be late" he said giving Kohaku a signal by looking at her and then at you. She got the massage. "right come on. We don't want Ukyo to wait." "what? the lession is-" Magma wanted to object but got instanly got hit my Kohakus fist. The others didn't know what was going on but just left with Ginro and Kohaku.

"now their all gone..." you were left behind with Gen. "hey Gen I wanted to ask you something" "yea go on" "you seemed so happy while teaching them magic tricks. how come so?" He sat down next to you. "well in the old world I never came to teach others my magic tricks" "right... then teach me" you said. He looked suprised at you. then he just laughed and showed you his hands. You gave him a confused look but he just pulled out flowers out of nothing. "for you" you said and gave it to you. You took them and smiled softly "thank you"

Tsukasa Shishio

"tsukusa? yea why are you asking? did something happen?" you responded as Senku if you knew how Tsukasa was doing. "The last 5 days hes been overworking himself. He always trains with Kohaku and the others and then helps everywhere he can" Senku explained.

You decided to go check on Tsukasa. He was still training with Kohaku, Ginro and Kinro. Although was on Ginro way to sneak out of there. Kinro saw that and dragged him back. You left out a little chuckle. But since they didn't notice you, you sat down under the tree that was at the edge of the training ground.

After a while staring at them they finally finished their training. You noticed that the sun went down and called Tsukasa over. He was surprised to see you and went over to you. "lay down" you said and patted at your lap. Signaling him to use you as a pillow. He hesitated but then did as you said.

"you overwork yourself" you said and stroke through his hair. He didn't response. "you seem tired you should sleep" you said and covered his eyes with your hand. He just took the chance and kissed your palm. "I love you" you were surprised by his unexpected words. But you just smiled and bend down to kiss him.

Tsukasa fell asleep while you were humming a lullaby. And you too where feeling sleepy.

"Ukyooo" you shouted. He turned around. "I asked Senku if you could get the rest of the day off" you said, grabbed his hand and dragged him somewhere. Gen who was talking to Ukyo just some seconds ago smiled at you two and left since his interlocutor got stolen.

"huh [name] were are we going" He asked as you bildfolded him and went into the forest. "you'll see" you just said and guilded him somewhere. But since you you forgot he was bildfolded he cashed into a tree and fell on the ground. "[name] could you please be more careful?" "yea yea I'm sorry. but at least we almost there" you took his hand and helped him up.

"so.." you said and took off the blindfold. You two stood on a beautiful flowers field. "suika found this place and I wanted to make flowercrowns with you" you sat down. Ukyo smiled at you and sat down. He grabbed a flower and started making a crown. You did as he did and soon the two of you were deepened in work.

You hummed. "hm? I know that melody" Ukyo said. "its that song from lillian weinberg" you responded. "right I also have some snacks" you said and opened the basket you bought with you. "oh thats what you was carrying" "hah!? you noticed?"

"well i heared it" "hahhhh... it was supposed to be a surprise" you said looking down sadly. Ukyo noticed and finished his flower crown quikly to put it on your head. "I'm happy to have you" he said.

"Sai!" You said, opening the doors to Sais room. He flinched at the sound of the doors slamming against the wall. "[n-name]what are you doing here?" he asked but you ignored him. You just went to him and grabbed his wraist. "come Sai you have to go out! its already morning again" And with that you dragged him outside.

"[name] where are we going?" Sai asked. "since we are on this ship we should enjoy it. I'll show you the 'new pegaseus' your brother and senku built" He didn't respose but his face expression got softer.

The day passed and it was already night. You two finished your tour through the ship and were at the roof. laying on the back to face the sky. The two of you were watching the stars and you teached him the names of some.

"master Sai! Master [name]!" Francois called and searched you two but only found Ryusui. "whats wrong?" he asked. "I asked Master [name] to cheer up master Sai. But know I can't find them" Francois said. "well... you don't have to worry about them. They're on the roof" Ryusui said and pointed at the roof. "But its cold at night and they might fall asleep..."

It was honestly a surprise to people who noticed he had feelings for you. Kinro was always known for following the rules and staying on task

But as soon as you came around his heart fluttered, his cheeks heat up and his knees are weak

Well, Senku was the first to notice, you worked with Kohaku and helped gather materials and Senku noticed how quick Kinro was to help you

The basket wasn’t really heavy but he insisted that he helped you and Senku just giggle and said

“And that’s what we called a crush”

It took a lot of bribing to get him to confess to you but when he did it seemed like such a long process 

Kinro was super formal about it and asked your family first before he started courting you. It came as a shock but your father has seen how serious he was about his position in the village which only meant he was serious about you.

After a few dates you agreed to be his girlfriend after Senku explained to you what it was 

“You can see each other romantically but you aren’t married yet and you can decide where it goes from there“

You had been with Kinro for about a year and a half when he brought up the idea of marriage. He had thought you both had enough time together and he had come to know you like the back of his hand. And of course you said yes

You village held a wedding, and everyone attended. Senku even taught him the traditions of throwing the bouquet. Instead they ended up fighting over it instead of first come first serve....anyway

Having Kinro as a husband  was a mix of a bodyguard, a very respectful, and very kind. It was easy to say many other women an younger girls were envious

As for men, he alway kept them at bay from you. In his eyes you were the most beautiful girl in the whole village. Not only were you beautiful but you were kind and hard working as well and he admired you and what you did in your role in the village

As serious as a man as he was, in the privacy of your eyes only he was very affectionate and gentle, especially on night where you got steamy and passionate~

And you could only imagine what his reaction was when you were told you were expecting your first child. He’s never had any news like this before and didn’t know how to react so he just stayed quiet. 

All through out the day he kept to himself not even Ginro could get him to crack. He had a lot on his mind and was thinking things over. He was a guard for his village, he was fighting for the future, he had a wife and now a baby on the way 

It may be a short list but they were all important and he had to give his best or nothing. Later that night when you got ready for bed he was still quiet, and decided to let him process things. You turn over the other way feeling a bit hurt 

Kinro turns your way and snakes his hand over your lower belly and pulls you close 

“Thank you Y/N, I will protect you both with my life.” you honestly thought you would have cried, but you knew what he said was true. That night he held you closer than he ever had and he felt closer to you than he ever had been 

When you started showing he would walk around with you almost like he was showing you off, proud that you were the one carrying his child.

As for the birth, the healer told him to wait outside. Just as elders before him, only women were aloud inside, which he disagreed with. In his words “The rules are the rules” Nothing hurt him more than hearing you scream and groan in pain like you were

he felt useless that he couldn’t at least comfort or support you. You had gone on from the afternoon until sundown and just as the sun kissed the horizon a cry was heard. You were finally done and he was finally allowed inside. He ran to your side where you had your baby laid on your chest 

“It’s a girl Kinro..“ you said tiredly, he could see the exhaustion, and pain that you had endured on your face yet you received your baby with a smile. You were stronger than he could have ever imagined to be 

“Thank you- thank you for giving me this gift Y/N“

I see him having only one child

Kinro was the teaching type when it came to fatherhood. He didn’t care for gender but he wanted his child to be able to defend, provide and fend for herself. 

He believed no boy will ever be worthy enough for her and therefore she needs no man 

“Kinro, dear?“

“Yes?“

“You do realize she’s only a few months old“

“And? I saw a one year old boy looking at her too long. Because she has your looks she’s already capturing hearts“

You didn’t know if you should laugh or take him seriously. Speaking of being serious your daughter had his scowl for sure. She would do this thing where she would look at her father and copy his facial expression

She may look like you but she acts like her father

Senku has asked you guys if he could use her for experiments, of course kinro had threatened to cut his throat out. Talk about protection

But night time was his favorite thing. You would cuddle in close to him with your daughter between you both keeping her warm. And he’d just gaze down at the woman he loved and the outcome of your love.

❀ you were sweet with everyone so he didn’t know who you liked.

✿ he tried doing everything to know, made everyone play t or d just to find out your crush (you never chose t whenever he picked you), made kohaku ask you who you had a ‘crush’ on even though she doesn’t know what the word crush means and even asked Senku to help him.

❀ when kohaku asked you you just raised an eyebrow and were like “someone” before asking her about how she knows that word.

✿ he started hanging around you more whenever you’re with a boy to see your body language.

❀ not once did he suspect that maybe he is your crush.

You were sitting outside carving a piece of wood you found while walking, humming some random melody as you enjoyed the silence around you.

You heard someone approach you and looked up to find the mentalist himself standing before you. You gave him a smile, mouthing a hello before looking back down at the piece of wood in your hand, going back to carving it.

You were still at the beginning so it wasn’t obvious what you were making.

Gen sat down beside you as you continued working on the wood with your tools, admiring your work before looking up at your face, “You look really beautiful while working, (y/n)-chan.”

“Thank you, Gen,” you murmured softly, your attention not leaving the piece in your hand.

“What are you making?”

You shrugged your shoulders, “I don’t know, maybe a heart or some random shape.”

“You’re making me a heart?” He asked playfully and you turned to him with a smile before turning back to your work.

“Is that a yes, maybe? Or is it for Kinro-chan? Or maybe Senku-chan.”

“Maybe, maybe.”

He stopped asking questions and continued watching you as you worked. The silence was comforting, he actually liked it, it didn’t make him feel uncomfortable or bored, and watching you work was a plus.

A while later, you were done, you blew air on the small heart in your hands before rubbing it with your thumb to clean it then turned to Gen, “Do you like it?”

“Yeah, it’s as pretty as the creator, how can I not like it?”

You smiled then leaned in to kiss his cheek, making him blush at the sudden action. He looked at you with a surprised look and you shrugged, “you could’ve asked me straight away instead of doing all of that, you know?” You said, tilting your head to the side.

“Doing what?”

“The games, Kohaku and Senku,” you let out a small giggle before continuing, “and I saw you following me and Kinro when we went to get the wood yesterday.”

His blush deepened as you continued talking before his lips turned up into a smirk, “Pretty and smart, now you only need to like the right person.”

“Hmm, you’re tricky, I don’t think you’re the right person.”

“You can kiss me and find out.”

“That’s a good offer, I don’t know though,” you bit down on your lower lip before smiling and handing him the heart, “it depends on you, do you have the right person?”

“I’m very sure I do, but she still won’t kiss me,” he took the heart from you and rubbed it with his thumb.

“Did I just steal you from her? I kissed your cheek.”

“You can’t steal something you already have, can you?”

You went to answer him but were cut off with Kohaku calling your name so you can help her with something. You sighed before standing up, “looks like you’ll have to wait for the answer, hm?”

Gen only shrugged and stood up, “maybe, maybe,” he mumbled and you looked at him, the smile coming back to your lips again before you leaned in to peck his lips then moved away, “see you later, sorcery boy,” you shouted as you ran to Kohaku.

You looked at the different shaped rocks as you stood with Senku in front of the table, a confused look on your face as he continued fangirling about the rocks he brought from the cave when he went with Chrome and Magma.

You noticed a small pink rock and raised your eyebrows in surprise, it looked cute and sugary, like candy, “Senku,”

“Yeah?” He looked at you and raised an eyebrow.

“What’s that pink rock? Is it digestible?” You asked and pointed at.

He looked down to where you were pointing before picking it up and handing it to you, “it is, but I don’t think you’ll like it.”

You narrowed your eyes at him as you took it from his hand, glancing down at it before looking at him again, “you aren’t trying to break my teeth or kill me, right?”

He shook his head and smirked, “why would I kill you? I need you here, plus that’s pink salt, I have no idea how it reached Japan, I thought it was only in Pakistan.”

“Seriously, if I end up dead, I’ll haunt you and finish Tsukasa’s by killing you,” you licked your lips then brought the pink rock up to your lips, “If I died, just know that I loved you,” you gulped, closing your eyes before licking the rock. It was salty, like actually salt.

You opened your eyes and looked at Senku, “this is salt!”

“Really?”

“Shut up.”

The science boy smirked, shaking his head at you before reaching to take the salt from your hand then looked at you again, “so you loved me? You don’t love me anymore?”

“Who said that? I still love you, you’re just a smart idiot who doesn’t know that,” you said, glaring at him, “even Suika noticed that but you still don’t know that I like you, it took some pink salt for you to find out.”

“Actually, it took some pink salt for you to confess so I can find out and now I know you like me.”

“It’s your time now to confess, I did my part,” you crossed your arms over your chest and raised your eyebrow.

“Since you know I like you, why do you want me to confess? Even though I just did.”

“Why not? It’s better when you say it.”

”Okay then, I like you,” he replied before going back to studying the rocks.

“That’s cute, I like you too,” you smiled, “now, can we make sustenance with that pink salt?”

He glanced at you before laughing and looking down again, “It’s salt, of course you can make food with it.”

Kinro, he's a sweet lil baby, an awkward baby if I may add.

You're definitely the first person he ever dated.

So he's literally so awkward at the start of it. He stiffens at the slightest physical touch, sometimes hugging him might seem like hugging a rock- yes he stiffens THAT much.

He always tries to hide his blush whenever you show him affection but he lives for it.

He definitely isn't a big on pda but if you ever feel cold he'd be besides you the next moment, embracing you gently in his arms, warming you up.

It was one of the days during the freezing winter, when it was snow storming.

Both of you and rest of the villagers had decided to stay inside their respective cottages.

You two were preparing for your meal but the extreme cold was getting the best of you, which made you drop the terracotta bowl making it shatter. It also got Kinro's attention and immediately ran to your aid.

He was quick to notice your slightly shivering your body, who then decided to wrap his arms around you before dragging you near the fireplace and wrapping you in a layer of blanket.

"My love, please take care of yourself, I wouldn't want anything to happen to you" he'd assure you with a pat on your head before continuing to prep the meal.

Though he's an awkward baby who isn't best with the words, he'll rather do things for you to make up for it. Honestly, you don't ask for anything more either.

Back to the door. Hunched over something on the glass table with his brows pinched in deep thought. Senku could only offer his work half of his attention when someone else was drawing him away with their constant pestering.

He had an idea who it was and groaned.

"Ginro I already told you, scrub the spear tip with some wet ashes and-"

Senku turned around to see not the pestering blond guard. But his older brother of all people.

"Kinro." Some semblance of a surprised crossed his face, "Not exactly who I thought it was."

Remaining silent. Senku did note the spear in his closed fist. Assuming he was here for a similar reason then. He couldn't help but laugh.

"A gold tipped spear isn't exactly priority number one ya know?" Senku tapped the lip of the beaker on the table, "With what we've got going on I'm sure you can-"

"It's not about a spear." Kinro interrupted sternly.

"Oh?" Stuffing his pinkie in his ear Senku turned around completely with subtle interest growing, "I'm assuming you're here because something broke? Go ask Chrome and he'll-"

"No. That's not why I'm here," No mentalist, Senku still picked up on the visible unease of the village's star studded guard. Kinro took in a steadying breath and straightened his shoulders in front of the chief, "I come seeking advice, as the chief and someone from the previous world."

Senku dug at his ear and looked at his pinkie before flicking it away, "Hey I got nothing to nothing really on this chief thing. So why are you beating around the bush? Or asking Gen instead?"

"...because this is important and I-" Kinro pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose even as his serious façade was all but mock, "I'd like to ask you about Y/N."

Snorting a little Senku waved it away and turned back to his work, "Why didn't you just open with that!? She's over working with Ruri but I'm sure if you need help she'll-"

"What did you do before the stone world?" Kinro felt like his tongue was made of over cured leather, "Before to- Impress someone."

Now an entirely different game. The man could tell where this was going. And if he was Chrome or Gen he might whip around and dive into the gossip. But Senku looked in his beaker. Seeing the reaction he expected on the submerged mineral. And there for knowing exactly where this was going.

"Well, the movies were fully loaded with surefire romantic tropes to make your crush swoon."

Kinro's mouth set into a stern line with a low groan, "Some of us don't know what a movie is, Senku."

"Yeah yeah yeah," He itched at his ear and leaned back, "No movie was real anyways. Besides, just do what you guys have been doing for thirty seven hundred years. You've got parents. Do what they did."

Silence for a second. Senku swished his beaker and dislodged some flakes from the rock within. When Kinro didn't say anything back. It lead him to groan and look up from his work.

"What? You guys have rules on that too?"

Kinro's grip loosened on his spear, "It's arranged. Or- Was. Until you divorced the priestess. Now, we don't really seem to have rules."

"Arranged huh?" Senku tapped his chin, "Guess that would make sense. For thirty seven hundred years my father probably has a tale or something to make sure nothing too genetically catastrophic happened." Close knit genetics aside, Senku knew none of that was important now with what Kinro was asking. So he really had no idea what to do, "The grand bout makes sense now. Well- What are you asking me for??"

"You're the smartest person I know!" Kinro's stoic face cracked a little when he realized he might be out of luck, "And you were friends before the world stopped- I just thought- If anyone might know." His green eyes cast themselves down as Kinro sighed at his own foolishness, "I thought Senku the scientist might know."

Bait because he knew brining up Senku's mental tenacity on things put the fire in his belly to do it. Or perhaps just honoring the fact you were petrified with him this past three thousand plus years. Kinro was too straight laced to stroke his ego though. Leading Senku to believe the man genuinely believed he was the best person to ask this about.

Sigh that bordered on a groan. Senku pushed away from his desk and turned back towards Kinro, "Now listen closely. This isn't my wheel well. I wanted to launch things into space when Taiju made me watch all those stupid movies. But lucky for you, I have a brilliant memory."

For a split second Kinro's defeated face lit up, "So you know how to impress her?!"

Senku stared at him and itched the inside of his ear, "Impress a chick? No way."

"Then why did you say that?!" Kinro face palmed with utter loss for his question.

"I said that because through science it's not that hard to even work the human mind." Senku words clearly confused the only newly enlightened stone man. So he didn't waste time sorting the nitty gritty. Only diving right into it, "Humans are just like every other animal on this giant rotating rock. So what do animals like?"

Crickets on Kinro's end.

Senku's turn to face palm, "They like food!"

"I'm not sure I follow..."

"Throughout history food has always been the center of so many interactions. And gifting food to an interest has been in every terrible movie back in my day." Senku shrugged a little, "Besides that, gifts in general. People would spend tons of money just to get gifts that would wow and make a statement. Animals do the same thing. Birds being things to the nests, squirrels pick up rocks they find interesting and even our closely related primates have been observed gifting fruit."

Reeling from such a dump of information, Kinro scowled a little and nodded like he got it, "So I just....give her something?"

"Give her something. Plan something to do together. Tell her you like her eyes or profess your love!" Senku cackled and spun back around to his work, "It's all tried and true formulas to human courting. It predates science even!"

"And I should...do it all?"

"Yeah yeah do whatever." Senku waved Kinro off, "Something like that. Works out in the movies."

Kinro clenched his teeth a little. Still no idea what a movie was. He had giving you food, giving you a cool rock, doing something with you, telling you that your eyes were pretty and worst of all, simply telling you how he felt. Certainly Senku just meant one of them had to be done. But before he could get a clearer picture of what to do. Senku was back on his roll with focus directed only at his experiment.

Kinro was left perhaps a little more confused than he wanted. But if the smartest man in the stone age said it, then something might have to work in his favor.

"You want me to....help you gather wood?"

It sounded stupid when you repeated it back to him. Kinro had asked in such a jumbled way that he was surprised you understood him at all. Now he questioned it entirely as he felt dumb just hearing it.

"Wait no I'll just make Ginro-"

"I'll go with you."

"What?"

You smiled at him, "I said I'll go help."

"Are you sure?" He asked like he wasn't the one who just offered it, "The snow just fell, it might be windy I don't-"

"I'll go." You couldn't help from laughing a little at his indecisiveness, "I'd rather go with you than be stuck braiding wire with Gen."

Hoping with everything in him that you couldn't see the tint to his cheeks. Kinro clammed up but nodded. Accepting your company more than happily. Even though he knew if he spoke another word he might croak.

Fresh snow fall wasn't a joke.

All the outlaying area's of the village had untouched snow. No even animal tracks to speak of as you both trudged through the well used paths. Smashing the snow back down to it's rightful place.

Among the snow though were more than anyone's fair share of tripping hazards. And the unmarked fallen tree from a few days ago was just one of those unmarked hazards.

"Shit-!" You felt your toe hit the clump of bark. And felt stupid for tripping on something you knew was there. But with the snow there was a second misjudged step. Sending your gait to be broken and the threat of a face full of snow or worse branches.

Kinro through his arm out as quick as he could. Getting a grasp on your wrist but not before it was too late. You brought him down with you into the fresh powder. When the two of you hit with a soft muffled thud and no more. You erupted in laughter.

"I'm so sorry!" Snorting you wiggled a bit from your prone position and got back on your bum at least to look over at Kinro on his back beside you, "You should have just let me fall. I'm so sorry I didn't mean bring you down here with me."

Briefly disoriented, Kinro blinked a few times and knocked the snow off his glasses before refocusing up at you sitting next to him, "No I should have been first. Foolish of me to not remember where the tree was and-"

Tired of his rambling. You wadded up a snowball and tossed it at his chest. Powdery white flakes exploring all over his blue coat. Kinro looked at you stunned.

"A snowball." You grinned while showing him the other one in your hand, "Don't tell me this is like the bubbles?"

Thrown back to the teasing months ago about him and his brother panicking over soap bubbles. Kinro couldn't avoid the feeling as his ears turned red and he huffed looking away, "I know what a snowball is."

"Then you know they're for throwing," You chuckled as you dropped the second one between the two of you, "Don't worry. Your not Ginro. He'd get hit twice. Ok probably three times."

Kinro's scowl faded. But at the same time the tightness in his stomach wasn't subduing itself. He'd asked you to do something with him. But now you were talking about his brother and laughing? Kinro panicked back to what Senku told him. What was the list again?

'Ask her to do something with you. Tell her, her eyes are pretty. Express your feelings!'

Kinro shuddered at that last idea.

'Get her something, like food!'

Just like one of Senku's lightbulbs. That idea lit up Kinro's mind. He had remembered that and even had it for backup!

Watching you get up and knock the snow from your own clothes. Kinro's surefire backup plan went from a lifesaver. To a frantic attempt to reach for his pockets amidst the snow coating him. Until his erratic movement digging through his clothes caught your attention.

Standing above him, you cocked your head to the side, "Uh Kinro...you ok?"

Leaping to his feet the man dug through the divot in the ground he created when he fell. Tossing the snow back at your feet on accident. You tried to step back out of the way of his tirade. Just to find your footing in snow wasn't as sure as you had hoped.

With a thud and another piece of wood you hadn't seen. You landed on your bum to both yours and Kinro's surprise. It was enough to tear him away from what he was doing.

"Are you ok!?" He ditched what he was searching for and got back over to you, "I'm sorry- I didn't mean to through that on you. I just-" Kinro felt stupid knowing he'd lost his back up plan, "I brought some dried fruit....I thought you'd like it."

Taken back by that. You looked up at him with an almost deer in the headlights look. It set Kinro on edge and he was rushing through his mind about the things Senku had told him.

He'd almost gone through everything the smartest man in the stone age told him. Senku toted trying something until it worked. But he was running out of things to try. Leaving compliments or telling you how he felt. Kinro knew there was no argument what to do there.

"Your eyes-" Kinro babbled, "They are...Um, nice. I like your eyes when- The sun and water I-"

Gone from the look of hesitant confusion. It felt stupid only realizing it now. But without a doubt you saw Kinro trembling a little when he went to push up his glasses. Was he nervous?

"Kinro..." Your softer and coherent voice stopped his rambling. Forcing the green eyed man to seal his lips and look at you, "...what's wrong? You're acting strange. Is...is something wrong?"

The jig was genuinely up. He'd made a bigger fool of himself than even his brother could manage. And all at once Kinro wanted to sink into the fresh snow and never be seen from again. Science or not. Senku's advice did nothing. He tried everything and now you-

Wait.

Kinro hadn't tried everything.

'Tell her how you feel! Profess to her like in the movies!'

Not even in the slightest idea did Kinro understand what Senku was talking about when he said movie. Nor did he elaborate on that or anything else that spouted from his mouth. Kinro saw you looking up at him with a look that could only be described as heart wrenching.

Sighing, the man offered a hand to you, "I'm sorry. This isn't-" Kinro shook his head when he helped you back on your feet, "This isn't what I meant to do. I asked Senku for advice and, well, I did a bad job."

"A bad job?" You squeezed his hand when Kinro went to pull away, "We haven't even gotten any wood yet silly. A bad job would be if we came back without it."

"Not the wood." Kinro looked at the contrast of his knuckles to yours. You both really were worlds apart, "Trying to impress you. I asked Senku and he told me about movies. But I think I messed it all up."

Expecting you to solidify the fact he had screwed it up. Kinro waited for a degrading chuckle or a reprimand. Honestly anything to assure him this was a fluke and he'd screwed up.

"...you asked Senku, Senku. On how to impress me?"

Kinro shifted his green eyes from your hand still clutching his and up to your face. He felt sheepish with the deadpan stare you were giving him.

"Kinro. Senku doesn't have a millimeter of interest in this kind of thing." Your expression softened to a smile crawling up on your lips, "He was the absolute worst person to ask. Trust me."

"But he's so smart." Kinro was all but confused on why you would say that.

"Smart in the way Senku is, doesn't mean it translates to other things." You chuckle softly at the look of bewilderment on his pinched face, "Honestly, Gen would have probably been a better person to ask." That realization crushed Kinro and you couldn't help laugh at his defeat, "I'm honestly a little flattered you took notes from Professor Senku of all people."

Kinro's cheeks burned and he sheepishly ran his thumb over your knuckles, "I wanted to impress you."

"But," You found his gaze turning back to you and you smiled wide, "You impress me everyday."

No where near equipped to handle such a comment. Kinro seemed only a handful of seconds away from short circuiting back into the snot. It was hard not to laugh until your stomach hurt. Your only saving grace was the shyness gnawing at your belly when it hit you that he liked you.

Kinro liked you.

Squeezing his hand once more. You couldn't find the right words to say it. And honestly holding his hand right now caused a thump in your heart to come on like a raging bull. Still you tried to remain calm for both of your sakes.

"I....enjoy my time with you." Kinro spoke softly, "You impress me too and I- I would like to spend more time with you. If you don't mind."

Your turn to feel the flushness hit your body. It certainly left you glad to be holding his hand or your shaking might give your nerves away. Still though it was obvious to someone maybe less obtuse than Kinro. Lucky it was just the two of you.

"I'd like that." You nodded, "I'd like that a lot. But- You don't have to ask Senku for advice."

Kinro noted that mistake, "Right. I'll ask Gen then-"

"No." You shook your head laughing. Leaning to him and leaving a feathery peck on his cheek, you smiled at him, "How about you just ask me instead."

Touching the spot on his cheek. Kinro's eyes open wide he couldn't believe you kissed his cheek. After the wreck this all had been. All he could think about was the next time you might kiss his cheek. Leaving him to nod enthusiastically, "I'll ask you next time. Without a doubt."
