After so many years I’m reading HunterXHunter again.

How long has it been? I don’t know, when did the Chimera Ant arc end?

Anyhow, one of the funniest things to me right now is that there was a page dedicated to explaining this incredibly vital world building detail: what is the internet and cyberspace.

That chapter came out in, like, 1999. I was about 7 years old and I barely understood how a computer worked and we accessed the net through AOL and our second phone number I didn’t know we had.

And nowadays we don’t even have to think about it, it’s just part of the world and our lives through broadband, fiber optic networks, and our own cell phones.

But this is no ordinary action Shonen manga. In this fantasy world information is more important than anything else. They are using the internet a lot.

i don't even know why i LIKE being on tumblr. the only social media website where i've been called a "smoking apologist" for posting screencaps of kurapika hxh smoking hookah, called "stupid" for not being able to tell left from right, told by several people to kill myself for misspelling Mississippi on a piece of art, and called an "aphobe, political lesbian, lesbophobe, and homophobe" for mildly critiquing greta gerwig. and i do it all for you guys. i'm bowing

Hi! Wanted to ask what brushes you use for lineart bc it looks rlly nice, can I also know what brush you used for lineart in the kurapika 1999 hxh screencap redraw? Tysm and hope you’re doing great!!

hello anon! i have a list of my brushes on my carrd ^^ for that drawing in particular i used the shiyoon kim brushes.

post here for reference

i bought the brush set years ago, they've always been $10! i prefer brushes with some texture, and brushes with a tip that is more rectangular/chisel-like than a circular tip, it feels more natural to me (I'm very picky...unfortunately). i don't use these brushes as much anymore though, since i moved over to clip studio paint 2 years ago and i use csp specific brushes now! i converted the shiyoon kim brushes to csp usage, tweaked the settings to get it almost just as how they were in ps, although they're not 100% the same (id say like around 95% though)
