What if,,, What if Sabosanuso,,, What then,,, What if Sanji has two hands, one for Usopp and another for Sabo,,, What if they held hands,,, What if,,,,,, What if Sabo and Usopp get a little too well in Dressrosa while Sanuso is established and both have the biggest crush on each other and then when Sabo meets Sanji he is like "well I GUESS I will just have to fuck both of them now to deal with this crisis"

Koala: You don't have to-

Sabo: I'm going to.

And Sanji also has the biggest crush on Sabo because who wouldn't. So here he comes the most chaotic but gentleman-looking man flirting with both of them and Sanji and Usopp are a whole anxious mess. They throw a party for reasons™ and Sabo approaches them and he is so not subtle it's insane. Unhinged but polite rev. And. And Usopp has to physically drag Sanji to the kitchen to talk in private and they are both going fucking insane with anxiety because "This is Luffy's brother we are talking about!" / "Yes but have you seen his hands!?" / "And his voice but that is not the point!" / "That is exactly the point!" / "Why are Luffy's brothers always so hot?!" / "It's the fucking fruit I swear to-"

They spend like. A long 20 minutes talking there while Sabo waits in front of the door like 👁️👁️ waiting for them to come back. And when they actually do it gets--- It gets very silly very haha very 'I don't want to talk about my thoughts I might faint writing this' type of situation.

Okay, but imagine that after the inevitable threesome that they have, they just keep meeting. Running into each other constantly. And Sanji and Usopp were supposedly in a monogamous relationship. And I say supposedly because it only takes a pretty blond former rich boy turned into a chaotic hot mess to make them change the only rule they had. So now they are like "okay, we can sleep with other people and that people is Sabo and Sabo only because look at him-". So they are not dating Sabo but they can sleep with him even if it's not the three of them.

While all of this happens, by the way, Sabo is having the most wonderful time of his life. Because he doesn't show it to them but he is also a babygirl and when he's alone with Koala he can't stop kicking his feet and screaming into his pillow and going "THEY ARE SO CUTE HOW AM I GOING TO DEAL WITH THIS IF EVERY TIME I GO SEE MY BROTHER I END UP DISTRACTED" / "You end up distracted anyway, who cares? As if you didn't enjoy it" / "I enjoy it very much yeah-"

AND- They catch feelings because of course they do. At some point there is the "Usopp, darling, you have a type" conversation, but he doesn't want to get too deep into, um, the subject (.... Kaya, Sanji, Sabo... Boy... I have some news for you).

I can't stop thinking about them,,,, Usopp being dramatic and telling his stories and Sabo following every detail with extreme care (he is. He is a writer. You guys. I. Can we just talk abt what that implies for Sabosopp???). Sanji cooking and Sabo desperately trying to help but failing miserably and ending up in a corner of the room with Usopp as a "punishment" but actually they're just cuddling watching Sanji cook. There is no "and they were both ***" here anymore because Sabo tops them both, no doubt. Maybe Usopp tops a single time but Sabo won't stop teasing and it's insufferable. And- And they are so cute. The most annoying boyfriends you will ever meet.

The most important thing here is to know that now Luffy is extremely jealous because he fears Sanji might end up cooking more for Sabo despite Sabo literally coming over to see them once a month or every three weeks and Luffy is always there. And he also does not want to lose his precious time talking about beetles or fishing with Usopp because of Sabo. But!!!!! They look really happy so he accepts it. And now Sabo is around more, so that is something nice too.

okay okay okay so i just finished the terror and i think i'm insane

#okay alright so here's the thing #i've never really seen a tragedy through to its endpoint. that is what this is.#however. ohhh my god i need to do another rewatch Right Now so i can listen to the music #i noticed something right at the beginning but i think there might be something to analyze in how western tonality breaks down throughout i #so like. it's set in the mid 1800s. we've got some pretty solid era of western tonality happening. and i can't help but wonder #if the show descends into the brutality of the arctic. does the music foreshadow or parallel this #bc there's some jaunty tune in ep 1 and music like that just Vanishes pretty immediately thereafter.#and the last shot has the most haunting sustained pitches with really really dissonant overtones.#and ends unresolved. in a way that pieces from the 1800s standard canon don't.... really do. and i just. augh. hm. how does the music work #i must know and i must know Now #the terror #so sorry y'all i'm just stuck like this you're in for the long haul

this has probably already been talked about lol but i was trying to find the puppets website for funsies and instead came across this really odd rabbit hole??? full story under the cut so i don't clog the dash or anything

so for context i have the ecosia extension installed and when i typed in "the last shadow puppets" and nothing came up i was like Hmm ok sometimes the results can be 50/50. so i hit a recommended search at the bottom that threw in the word "website" and the first 2 results were wikipedia and the domino page but the third was theageoftheunderstatement.com.

the immediate thing that threw me off was that the first sentence on the page is "Like monthly car insurance site prudentplus.com these guys are different." What. there's like a whole description of the band (which is out of date now cause the page is from 2010) but then underneath it, there's a whole thing about fast food delivery insurance (???) and how to get it, what the best way is etc etc. the prudent plus comment does have a link that leads to the insurance company in question and from what i can tell it was still active as recently as last year.

at the veeery bottom of the taotu page is "search here for uk short term cover" which has another link that leads to another page on the site about car insurance for foreign drivers. this has another link like 3/4 of the way down the page that leads to a different site that from what i can tell hasn't been updated in over a decade (at the very bottom it says copyright 2006/13).

its worth noting that if we hop back to the main page there's a box on the left side with all the songs off of taotu listed as well as a link at the bottom that leads to a page about no deposit car insurance in the uk. every song leads to a different page on the site describing the storyline of the song (and mv, if it has one) as well as the sound of the song. most of the song pages lead to different insurance things. standing next to me leads to disqualified driver insurance, calm like you leads to lorry insurance, the chamber leads to builders / business property insurance, only the truth leads to architects / beautician liability insurance, black plant leads to convicted driver insurance, and the time has come again leads to personal liability insurance.

at the bottom of the home page is the name peter marsden. initially i just tried searching his name up but then i realized the answer was right in front of me and i searched it up with "prudent plus" slapped on the end. sure enough, a page on the prudent plus site came up introducing the staff, including a man named peter. at least at the time the "about us" page was set up (idk if its still updated) he was 71 and "has an obsession for creating images of cars, people, monsters and other strange objects and beings in unusual, and sometimes impossible, environments." very cool peter!

i didn't check all the links on the songs because i didn't think there'd be much there but my only guess for the website's existence is that the insurance people saw the popularity of taotu and decided to make a page about it while promoting their insurance stuff. outside of that i have no fucking clue. maybe they're just big tlsp fans. good on you peter

Oh wise SolRadGuy, Ky has a belt buckle that says Hope, and I think Sol has associated with Free and I feel I understand why he has that (he’s mocking Ky I thought but also he has it semi-genuinely?) but I don’t necessarily understand Sin’s Oath word association.

Do you know what it might mean in relation to his character? Would it be possible for you to explain the belt buckle word associations?

Oh Oath is just the clothing brand Sin wears. Like how Sol's stuff is all from Riot?

Ky and Sol made their belt buckles when they were in the Holy Order because it was a thing the knights did where they'd carve an "ideal" into their uniform buckle. There's a part later in Lightning the Argent that talks about it more. I think there's another knight that has one with a word carved into it in that book too, but I can't remember who or what it was.

I don't think Sin's clothing brand being called Oath really means much, I think it was just chosen because it sounds cool. But maybe someone that knows Sin on a deeper level than me can elaborate on it if it does expand on his character depth more.

Ky likely chose "hope" for his buckle because of his aspirations for trying to make the world a better place and staying optimistic/hopeful that he'll be able to make it happen or live long enough to see it happen. Sol probably went with "free" because a lot of his autonomy had been taken from him and he wants it back. He didn't want to be made into a Gear, or be forced into saving the world a bunch of times, or anything like that.

What I think the real meaning here is, though, is that Daisuke Ishiwatari was a really big fan of Revelations by Iron Maiden.
