I can't fit them all, because they've done a billion collabs, which is why I'm asking for the best out of these ten.

But if you want to know why I left a song out:

"Tokyo Narita - Freestyle" because, while this was a very tough call, this is ultimately just a Halsey song produced by Lido (which is true about like a third of H's discography.)

"Be Kind" because it's ultimately just a Halsey song produced by benny blanco.

"H*m and I" because fuck G-Sleazy. also it's a bad song, lmao.

"Boy with Luv" because Halsey doesn't have a verse and you can barely hear her.

"Hopeless" because Cashmere Cat doesn't have a verse and you can barely hear him.

"Lilith"/"Alone"/"Without Me" etc remixes with features because the original songs weren't written as collabs.

Any other song was left off purely for math reasons.

Raphael Lobato: Spencer, conta um pouco sobre como começou a Buero. Que gatilhos criativos te motivaram a começar a festa?

Spencer Q: Eu estava em uma época bem conturbada da minha vida, desempregado e tinha perdido completamente o tesão em tocar. A noite de SP ainda era muito dividida: ou você tocava techno e essas vertentes clássicas do eletrônico, ou você tocava funk, ou você tocava pop. Existiam poucos - ou quase nenhum - espaços que uniam todas essas coisas. 

Com a ascensão do hyperpop e com o sucesso da SOPHIE, que tinham essa mistura forte do pop com o eletrônico mais alternativo, eu vi uma oportunidade de criar algo que unisse tudo isso que eu gosto e consumo e trazer de volta aquela vontade de viver da noite.

R: O que faz um residente da Buero residente da Buero?

S: Ter a cara da festa. Não que a BUERO tenha uma definição específica, mas quando vejo o quanto as pessoas que frequentam se indentificam quando estão no front escutando os sets da Delcu ou da Alírio, por exemplo, sei que é porque elas representam exatamente o que eu busco levar pra minha festa.

R: De que forma você acredita que a Buero transforma o circuito de nightlife criativo em São Paulo?

S: Da forma que eu trabalho, sempre penso em duas coisas: oportunidade e novidade. Já existem diversas festas enormes que tem dinheiro e espaço, mas que buscam sempre manter só um certo número de nomes e de um tipo específico de som em voga. Na BUERO não, eu quero o maior número de DJs e sons passando pela festa e por quem frequenta. Tem muita gente talentosa e muitas coisas para explorar que não ganham espaço porque tem gente que acha que fazer festa é só sobre status e fazer dinheiro, e eu quero fazer história.

R: Muito da sua sonoridade pode ter se transformado ao longo da sua trajetória na música eletrônica. As referências Pop, no entanto, permanecem divertidamente  nos seus sets. Como a sua relação com o pop evoluiu na sua pesquisa e sonoridade?

S: Acredito que a relação da música eletrônica mudou mais com o pop do que eu em relação a música pop. Sempre fui um entusiasta e comecei como DJ de pop, mas eu nunca fui o DJ de tocar clássicos, de ápice da noite ou de tocar em casamento. Eu sempre fui aquele DJ chato que quer sair mostrando pesquisa e novidade, e sinto que hoje como os artistas mainstream estão mais inseridos na cena da música eletrônica, trabalhando com DJs, produtores, artistas mais underground e lançando diversos álbuns de remix, isso ampliou bastante o leque de coisas que a gente pode brincar atualmente.

R: Como moda e música se conectam no seu trabalho?

Eu lido com a moda igual lido com a música, é uma forma de expressão muito forte. Se eu estou mais intenso, mais animado, vou querer usar um look mais bem pensado e mandar um set bem barulhento, pra cima. Mas se estou num dia mais tímido, vou sair todo de preto e boné e mandar um set de 90bpm/110bpm mais de boas. É sobre não precisar falar, só com esse M&M eu consigo dizer tudo que estou sentindo.
