Just got this in DM, some fans were contacted and invited to the special screening of Love Again in New York tonight! Here's the location. I can't imagine this wouldn't be the red carpet premiere and the cast will attend. So exciting! 👇
PS. I have to go to work now, and the cell phone reception is terrible, plus I'm super busy at work, soooo, I'll try to reply and post as much as I can. But won't be on too much until tonight. IOW I'm going to miss most of it. Ugh I hate working instead of having fun with you guys. I'll be checking in and out. 😘

Bonus - Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi
To celebrate some personal schtuff, the family went to Ascend! Located in Lincoln Square on floor...50 something? It was on the very top floor, with a special express elevator! It was quite an experience to say the least. But anyways, Ascend is a steak and sushi restaurant, with premium beef™️
However, we're not here to rate the steak. We're not here to rate anything but the fish. I will say, as an above average sushi enjoyer, the sushi menu was not all that enjoyable. Everything was much to posh. It didn't feel like sushi, it felt like some new chef with a complex trying to "modernize an ancient food" (which btw it isn't ancient, sushi was invented in 1824 in Japan during the Edo Period).
Now, the sushi tacos! The sushi tacos consisted of "crispy wonton, ginger carrot slaw, wafu daikon oroshi, fresh mango". We got the tuna and tobiko protein option. First impressions? Very pretty. However, after eating? Not our favorite for sure. It was quite hard to eat, with the brittle wonton shell and the stubborn nori (that was hard to tear off), it would've been better in a salad form. The gimmick was not worth it.
Taste wise? It was difficult to get a bite with everything in it due to the presentation. Without the sauce, it felt relatively tasteless. With the sauce was a spicy assault.
Overall opinion? Kind of mid. 6.5/10. Due to Box being kind of cringe and not liking nori, he didn't try it.
Wishing you a particularly fishy week,
Box & Bowl
