I might have just found the most amazing coffee shop....EVER
Hello my friends! How has everyone been? It has definitely been too long since I got to speak to you guys! My life has been pretty normal, but it has honestly been so great because there have been some big talks about future changes. First, let me update you on the kittens. They have been absolutely amazing, and I have loved having them here so much. I am definitely a little sad though because they have officially been posted on our website to be adopted, which means they could get taken from me any day. When they last went into our vet checkup, the vet told me that each kitten had several inquiries already and that the applications were in the process for being approved. I could cry! I love them so much. Anyways, that’s the kittens and my present life, but let me update you on my future. Trevor and I have decided to move next summer…. To HAWAII! I graduate this May, and it has always been a dream of ours to travel while we're young. So, we're moving to Hawaii next summer for at least a year. Right now, our plan is to live there for a year or two, and then since I am remote, Trevor is going to accept a traveling job where we can go to places together. He renovates hotels, which takes a few months, so we will be wherever his jobs take us every few months and live in different places until we decide to settle down. I AM SO EXCITED. This has been a dream of ours for so long, and I cannot believe that it is now a reality! Okay well enough about me… let’s get to business! Because wow do I have a story for you guys and WOW we might have found our winner.
My sister and I were planning to have a study date, and she wanted to take me to one of her favorite coffee shops. The shop is called Chattahoochee Coffee Company. It is on the Chattahoochee river, and my sister said it was beautiful with amazing coffee! So of course, I had to go! It was about 30 minutes from me, so I drove there, but it is inside an apartment complex. The problem was, when we went, it was completely full and we couldn’t get in. So we had to find a backup plan. I looked on maps for a coffee shop near us, and we decided on one called Cafe Comma where neither of us had been before…… and WOW. When we got there, it was not too busy but the atmosphere was amazing. It was so beautifully decorated with plants and trendy seating everywhere! The staff was so amazing and nice. They were so friendly and had so many recommendations for us. I chose what the barista’s favorite drink was, which was an iced caramel creme. I had no idea what to expect, but wow was it the most beautiful coffee. Count how many times I have said wow in this blog. I even took a picture of it because it was the prettiest coffee I have ever seen. And it tasted just as amazing. It had cold foam on top, which I am a sucker for, and it almost had this salted caramel taste. It was definitely on the sweeter side, but it was the best coffee I have ever had. And so far, it is the clear winner in our lineup so far.
Well, friends, we might have done it. We might have found the best small local coffee shop near me. Although we still have a few more coffee shops to go, this one will definitely be hard to beat. I will see you guys soon!
