the bad thing about moving to a small town after elementary school is that you will always be second best. Everyone has known everyone else, and they all have a set social standing since the first year of middle school. And when you come in after that you’re just not welcome like everyone else is. Even if you make friends those friends will choose you last.

I’m prepared to go insane. I have Neil Cicierega’s Mouth Sounds, Mouth Silence, & Mouth Moods downloaded onto my mp3 player. I have a five hour shift of digitally scanning microfilm soon, a task which either feels akin to watching a VHS tape at 15 fps or taking a picture of every page in a book.
I’ll check back in afterwards and let y’all know how the experience affected my psyche.

FMA AU where Trisha Elric wakes up in an alley some six years post-canon for [insert vaguely spoilery plot reasons] and is stumbled upon (quite literally) by none other than Brigadier General Roy Mustang, who proceeds to take her to Madame Christmas and absolutely does not realize who she is.
Coincidentally, Ed rolls into town for the first time in six years.
