We have two series about freaking PACMAN and they're both 40+ episodes. And you're telling me CASTLEVANIA didnt have enough plot to make less than 40 episodes ?? CASTLEVANIA ????
You're really trying to tell me that someone had the inspiration to create a whole ass cartoon about pacman with only "yellow circle flees from and eats ghosts" as a premise, but "an ancestral clan trapped in a cycle of violence, trauma and grief must defeat the Dark Lord Dracula, the most powerful being to have ever existed, every 100 years. They cant escape their fate, for they are the only men capable of killing him, due to their superhuman abilities and their main weapon, the Vampire Killer, wich both have been passed down for generations since Leon Belmont, the Dark Lord's old friend, who sworn for his clan to hunt him for eternity." Is "NOT ENOUGH PLOT" ???
AND THIS IS JUST A SHORT, GLOBAL SUMMARY. THERE'S SO MUCH MORE TO CASTLEVANIA CHARACTERS AND GAMES.
Y'all need to stop insulting the original media to defend your stuff (wich wouldnt exist without said media). Dare I say, if you need to bring the games down to lift the serie up, then there's a problem with your serie. And you also need to stop giving stupid excuses to incompetent writers.
Castlevania has a heart, it was possible to make a serie out of it without butchering it.

I sincerely hope the vile and ghoulish commenters going out of their way to ridicule the suffering of palestinians in posts about the atrocities committed against them get exactly as much respect and compassion in their every day life as they have shown towards the palestinean people

I’ve been interpreting what Rin says here a bit trying to wrap my head around it, but I think there’s multiple things going here with how initially it seems like she’s angry at Shirou for being chosen as a master despite him being very inexperienced, which she would take as an insult to how much she’s sacrificed her life and childhood just to train to be a magus
But I think there’s more here that can be read, especially when Rin looks away from Shirou after stating that Kiritsugu “chose to be a parent over being a magus”. It seems like there’s resentment there too with Rin towards her father, as well as to Shirou since Shirou at least got to be a semi normal child with a parent and guardians who looked after him; Rin, however, had nothing because she lost everything that left her alone for so long. She had to cast her humanity away from the start, and while she seems to justify that fact due to saying a magus’ child isn’t human, I think it’s more or less Rin trying to compensate just how much she’s lost from being the successor to her father’s legacy, and what she could’ve had which was a father who could’ve been around to be there for her instead of dying off in a war and an actual childhood instead of parting with it so soon

actually considering how much indirect impact Jin Chul had on Jin Woo’s overall living as a hunter experience starting right off
Solo Leveling but Jin Chul is a main protagonist-narrator on sidelines simply because he knows but can’t do anything. He’s aware of everything in their world yet can’t do anything because beside his knowledge/clairvoyance he’s pretty much an ordinary government worker who simply kinda won powers lottery to stand on top of A rank.
Because of that he knows the deal with Jin Woo and while he doesn’t want him to go through such experience and feels bad because he does kinda use him, they still need him to save humanity from certain doom.
Jin Chul knows about this world, how it works and what will happen with it, yet he literally can’t do anything himself with that knowledge. He just wonders why he was the one to receive such gift/curse because knowing that there is a future where Hunter Sung succeeded among millions of fail endings starts to drive him insane, because he’s pretty much the one orchestrating events course and one wrong decision or move on his side will unavoidably hard lock them all to a bad end.
The way it literally ends up as ‘I’m a side character in story that knows the plot so I must take care of overpowered main character to avoid certain doom!’ type of novel and Jin Chul just having almost full on breakdown hysteria from stress and absurdity of it all, because truly, his life is a trashy novel plot for a quick read if you think about it

just making sure: lance does wake up eventually right? right??
Of course Lance would wake up!! He is my skrunkly, my Little Guy, my most favourite character ever, i am not going to just leave him in a coma!! He will wake up how else will I torture him?
But yeah Lance is Definately waking up Refreshed and Happy and Himself :)! Continous exposure and usage to Quintessence magic fuckery (different from Altean Alchemy) does not have devasting side effects on a human's both mind and body :)! Especially Not when you Dont have protection like being half galran, or your dna being altered by a space witch :)!! Lance is Not witnessing and experiencing cosmic horrors beyond comprehension and is not losing himself to it :)!! He is Not being transformed into Something Else entirely :)!! The universe is Not getting Fucked up™ after 10,000 years of extracting and corrupting it's very life force, what are you talking about :):):)!!

what she says: im fine
what she means: ritsuka has done so much and been through so much and survived so much but also she’s extremely fucked up to the point that she dissociates constantly and also refuses to give up constantly and she’s carrying so much weight on her shoulders that some servants have pointed out how she looks human but looking into her eyes that she’s also something not human and it’s from the sheer amount of crap she’s survived and done in the lostbelts and her heart has endured so much trauma from the first 6 that even if it would be a dud, daybit having it as plan C for ort says so much and casgil saying she’s lost her force of providence which means she’s more susceptible to misfortune and that also being taken every time the black barrel is fired which drains more of her life and she is running out of time but also refuses to rest like did you see her expressions during the ort fight you literally saw the light fade from her eyes but she REFUSED to stop until after it was confirmed to finally be dead they’re constantly pushing their everything past their limits because they have to like yes she’s just an ordinary human but she’s done SO MUCH and she has to go past the limits of a human because it’s all for nothing if she doesn’t and it can’t be and she’s constantly surrounded by so much death and has lost so many people and helped destroy so many lives via the lostbelts and she’s not a hero it’s more the anti-hero role and like she’s accepted that and she won’t stop just yet and i’ve always said how her determination is what makes her the most pain in the ass enemy you’ve ever had and i mean that but also i’m so sad because she had such an ordinary life but so much has gone on that even if the world gets fixed and even if she lives through it that adjusting to being normal again would be almost impossible and i’m so sad man

Tag drop: Dante of Sparda (Part 1/2). The last muse that I was inspired and motivated to make as many tags for as possible was Dorian, so here we go. Some of these are subject to change as I am absolutely partial to TaS and will rewatch it soon (semi-selectively), but for now...

I personally think it’s kinda dumb and unfair that William gets to fully keep his sense of self when he becomes Springtrap, while the kids are barely aware of who they are and what they’re doing anymore
