"Mallory deserved so much better in season five than how she was treated by the family. They make such a big deal about how bio family doesn't necessary equal family but Mallory was supposed to be their family and they just kicked her to the curb! Lou took care of her since she was a literal infant!"

Aziraphale using ‘pash’ instead of crush is UNUTTERABLY charming to me because the only context I’ve seen that used before is around all the sapphic subtext that happened in girls’ boarding school novels from like. the 40s

good morning ppl in my phone<3 ty for the tags @inflarescent @carlos-tk mwah. u know the drill baby. kidnapped fic updating friday or saturday depending on how busy i am
TK. Is Carlos’ first thought.
Oh my God. Is his second thought.
That thought repeats in a loop through his mind, as on-screen TK tears the loft apart, partially hidden by the couch. The video is still pixelated and low-quality, but he can see the pillows on the ground, the coffee table moved, the clean ring around Lou II’s enclosure. He squints, watching TK, and, just as he’s about to open his mouth for the analyst to make it look better, the scene changes, again.
Now, TK is nowhere to be seen. But the mess is still there, a trail leading off-screen, towards the bedroom. Light wafts through the entryway, a shadowed form moving in its glow on the floor, and the door slips shut, Carlos coming into view.
“Carlos –”
Carlos holds up a hand, halting Mallory from speaking, watching himself on screen intently. He creeps forward, laptop bag cradled in his arms protectively, and his mouth moves. He’s looking towards the direction of the bedroom – where TK is.
The scene shifts again, fading from black to the two of them embracing near Lou II’s enclosure. They look like one form – one, singular, blobby being. His heart aches as he watches TK grip onto his shirt when he breaks their hug. He should’ve held onto him even longer. He shouldn’t have let go.
It changes, and now Carlos has enveloped himself over TK’s back as they watch the bearded dragon bask. Carlos’ stomach swoops, as he remembers exactly what happens that night – what follows shortly after this. There is not a single inkling of doubt inside of him that says Denton didn’t cut it out.

Jane Mallory Birkin (14 December 1946 – 16 July 2023)
Jane Mallory Birkin was born in London in December 1946, daughter of British actress Judy Campbell and Royal Navy commander David Birkin.
She had lived in her adopted France since the late 1960s and apart from her singing and roles in dozens of films, she was a popular figure for her warm nature, stalwart fight for women's and LGBT rights.
She first took to the stage aged 17 and went on to appear in the 1965 musical "Passion Flower Hotel" by conductor and composer John Barry, whom she married shortly after. The marriage ended in the late 1960s.
Before venturing across the Channel aged 22, she achieved notoriety in the controversial 1966 Michelangelo Antonioni film "Blow-Up", appearing naked in a threesome sex scene.
But it was in France that she truly shot to fame, as much for her love affair with tormented national star Gainsbourg, as for her tomboyish style and endearing British accent when speaking French.
It was on the set of the film "Slogan" in 1969 that Birkin first met Gainsbourg, who was recovering from a break-up with Brigitte Bardot, and the two quickly began a love affair that captivated the nation.
That same year they released "Je T'Aime... Moi Non Plus" ("I Love You... Me Neither"), a song about physical love originally written for Bardot in which Gainsbourg's explicit lyrics are punctuated with breathy moans and cries from Birkin.
The song was banned by the BBC and condemned by the Vatican.
Following the breakup of that relationship in 1981, she continued her career as a singer and actress, appearing on stage and releasing albums such as "Baby Alone in Babylone" in 1983, and "Amour des Feintes" in 1990, both with words and music by Gainsbourg.
Gainsbourg's drinking eventually got the better of the relationship, and Birkin left him in 1981 to live with film director Jacques Doillon. However she remained close to the troubled singer until his death in March 1991.
It was around this time that she inspired the famous Birkin bag by French luxury house Hermes, after chief executive Jean-Louis Dumas saw her struggling with her straw bag on a flight to London, spilling the contents over the floor.
She wrote her own album "Arabesque" in 2002, and in 2009 released a collection of live recordings, "Jane at the Palace".
She is survived by two daughters the singer and actress Charlotte, born in 1971, and Lou Doillon, also an actress, born in 1982. She also had a daughter, Kate, who was born in 1967 and died in 2013.

Rest in peace to the Timeless Style Icon and Epitome of Effortless Chic

OC Questionnaire
Tumblr media
Thank you @treason-and-plot! This is actually perfect timing for a tag game because I have a “new” character to debut in the next couple of scenes. This is Maria’s big sister, Lou.
Name: Eloise Mallory Corelli
Nickname: Lou
Gender: female
Star sign: Aries
Height: 5’7”
Orientation: lesbian
Nationality/Ethnicity: American of Italian heritage
Favorite Fruit: apples
Favorite Season: fresh fallen snow in winter
Favorite Flower: the only flower she cares about is petal soft and blooms when you kiss it.
Favorite Scent: old books in an old library
Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate: espresso
Average Hours of Sleep: 6.5
Dogs or Cats: neither, she dislikes animals
Dream Trip: London or Rome (she’s been to both before)
Number of Blankets: none
Random Fact: the reason she’s been on and off for so many years with her girlfriend, Jamie, is because Jamie wholeheartedly wants a baby or two, and Lou doesn’t want to be a parent at all. Other than that unsolvable problem, they quite like each other a lot, which is why they usually find their way back to each other again.
Bonus shot of her with Jamie:
Tumblr media
Jamie Pendleton has also been around my game forever. She is the big sister of Jessica (who is now dating Ian Thompson), and best friend of Laney Thompson. The Thompson/Pendleton/Corelli siblings are all very closely intertwined at this point.
^ also, I’m just running with the crop tops for Lou at this point. Let’s say she’s fond of the gym and very proud of her abs, lol!
Tagging: @igglemouse @richmondsims @kimmiessimmies @memoirsofasim and anyone else who wants to do it!

Do the Howard pony lengths vary?
Oh my god yes. Thank you for this ask, I’ve been dying to talk about this and never got around to making a post on my own.
Here are some examples of different lengths we’ve seen, just including first covers and principals:
Tumblr media
Pictured: Vicki Manser (2019, West End); Jennifer Caldwell (2019, UK Tour); Chelsea Dawson (2021, Aus Tour); Mallory Maedke (2021, Broadway); Tsemaye Bob-Egbe (2022, West End); Aryn Bohannon (2022, Boleyn Tour)
I mean. SO much variation there. Vicki and Jen’s are both very short and very thinned out nearer the end, with Vicki in particular having some layering. Chelsea’s initial wig was very short and curled but also much fuller. Mallory and Tsemaye both have a middle ground in terms of length, but Tsemaye had the killer braids. And Aryn’s is very, very long and very full.
They’ve definitely been shifting towards the longer, fuller ponytails across the board, but there’s still variance in length/fullness/layering. Here’s most of the current Howard wigs:
Tumblr media
Pictured: Koko Basigara (22-23 WE), Rachel Rawlinson (21-23 WE), Leah Vassell (22-23 WE), Lou Henry (23-24 UKT); Shakira Simpson (23-24 UKT), Zoe Jensen (22-23 Bway), Holli' Conway (22-23 Bway), Aubrey Matalon (22-23 Bway); Courtney Mack (23 Aragon Tour); Erin Palmer Ramirez (22-23 Aragon Tour), Aline Mayagoitia (22-23 Boleyn Tour), Aryn Bohannon (22-23 Boleyn Tour); Tay Pearlstein (22-23 Boleyn Tour), Sarah McFarlane (Breakaway 5.0), Artemis Chrisoulakis (Bliss 5.0), Jillian Worthing (Bliss 5.0)
West End still has the most variance. Rachel has a very short wig, more in the line of Jennifer Caldwell’s alt wig, which I suspect is partially for versatility since she also uses it for Parr. UKT is more standardized in length but all the Howards are new so all their wigs were presumably made together. NCL generally has fairly short ponytails, at least relative to current UK/US mainland productions! Many of them seem to have been reused a few times now too. US leans towards longer ponys, but of course there's still variation in length. See: Holli' vs Aryn.
