I feel like Tumblr would appreciate my creative project for band.

Since we're going on Christmas break next Wednesday the band teacher decided instead of wasting time learning music we're not gonna remember after break, we'd do a fun competition to see which section could decorate the old unusable stands the best. This was the turnout of the low brass' (my sections) stand,

I think he's beautiful, but my mom disagrees for some reason.

I have a band concert today! I’m so excited lol. We’re going to be judged on our performance by some judges as well so I’m hoping that we’re be getting gold metals! I mean, silver is fine but as they say, if you don’t win, you lose.

Shoutout to my first valve for collecting more spit than I ever thought possible and double shoutout to my first valves tuning slide for its violent refusal to come out of the rest of the instrument

any trombonists on here that could maybe help? i’m not actually a good player, i’m just good at faking it (honestly surprised i’ve made it this far) but i have to audition for jazz band and the audition is due on the 23rd

problem is i’m not going to have a lot of time to practice the piece in the next few weeks and i’m kinda confused on the rhythm. i can’t play something without hearing the rhythm first

Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth I was thrust the responsibility of being section leader to a bunch of middle schoolers.

I'm m now spending my time on teaching 13 year olds how to hold their instrument and play a Bb major scale rather than having silly thoughts about lawyer men in a marching band.

We just got our music to movement one of the show and I'm the only one in the section with the range to play 90% of these notes. I will return with Lawyer Content once my section of silly little low brass boys can play a Bb major scale.
