I just lowlighted my hair burgundy yesterday with Good Dye Young's All in this Together and I'm in love.

I started slow, but I'm going to add more lowlights into it. I love this burgundy.

I think this is the continuation of me unfurling into who I am.

I’m bringing Jack to Vegas! He would schmooze his way to the high rollers lounge and then probably fight someone who was cheating, but it would be super entertaining. Plus he would be all about the buffets and expensive free drinks.

Ok yes Vegas with Jack would be so fun.

He strikes me as the type that likes Old Vegas. Fremont Street with the old school show girls.

He absolutely is charming his way into the high stakes poker tables. He’s totally showing off for you. And he loves trouble. I think he gets accused of cheating and, well, his fancy kinsman glasses are probably assisting with his card game. When the pit boss sends his meathead lackeys over, Jack knocks them both out in a wild fight. He snaps his whip at a stack of chips sending them flying into their faces.

He grabs you by the hand and the two of you manage to get the hell out of there. Don’t worry, he knows a nice little place where you can lay low together 😏

Javier Peña is a man of control. He takes charge of every situation, whether it be the pursuit of narcos, of the grocery shopping, or of you in bed. He thrives on it, feels useful and worthwhile. When you're on top in bed, it's because he put you there. It's quite sexy, actually, to be so utterly taken care of, so directly and meticulously. He's never rough unless you ask him, and he's a surprisingly tender postcoital cuddler, letting go of all control when you're all tangled up, catching your breaths after yet another mind-blowing sex session.

It's the cuddly, soft side of Javi that makes you think about doing things differently for once, insist on taking the reins. When you come home from a date night dinner, Javi's hands up your skirt and his tongue down your throat, you push back against his attempt to direct you to the bed. Instead, you put your hands on his broad shoulders and tear your mouth away from his.

"You gonna be good to me?" you pant, gazing into his brown eyes that turn hazy and feral at your words.

"Why don't you get on the bed and find out."

"No, this time you get on the bed. Be a good boy now."

Javi pauses, blinking slowly as his brows knit together and he starts to put together your words with their actual meaning.

"What are you saying, baby girl?"

"I'm saying that it's my turn to take care of you," you articulate, tracing your fingers with a feathery touch down his strong neck, curving over his windpipe with the tiniest pressure, before dragging the nail of your pointer finger down the glimpse of chest he always sports. Your other hand is more direct, cupping him in his tight jeans.

His frown tells you he's still not convinced, so you step it up.

"If you're not into it, Javi, tell me so," you tell him softly but with conviction, "but if this you being afraid to let go of that need to always be the macho man, then you don't really have enough faith in my capability to make you feel good."

"I know you can - "he starts to protest, and you silence him with a kiss that makes him twitch against the tight denim, and your hand. You end the kiss with a little bite to his lower lip, and when you pull back, he's looking at you in a whole new way: bared, intrigued, relaxed.

"Trust me, baby boy," you coo, passing your thumb over his plump lower lip before slipping the digit into his open mouth. His mouth falls open even more from surprise, but he catches on quickly and closes his lips around it, his tongue sweeping over the pad as he sucks it. You bite down on your lower lip as you grow hot and heavy deep in your belly.

"Good boy," you whisper, eventually pulling your thumb out of his mouth. "Now, what do we say?"

Javi's breathing heavily, dark yet vulnerable eyes searching your face, as if looking for answer to questions he doesn't know how to ask. He then falls to his knees in front of you, grabs you by your hips and presses his face against the apex of your thighs. You wobble slightly, putting your hands on his head for support. He looks up at you, expectant and trusting.

"I want you to ruin me."

You cock your head and smile soothingly at him as you pet his hair.

"I will, baby boy. Just do as I say."

Hi, love! My favorite Halloween candies are Kit-Kats and Reese's Cups, but I also ride hard for my beloved Dots. They're terrible and they get stuck in your teeth, and I love them so much. Ooooooh Laura! This is a good one and the fact that you’re making me choose is gonna kill me!

I would make you roast chicken with lemon garlic butter sauce, pan-fried asparagus from my dad’s garden (because there is nothing better than fresh!), “Blunt potatoes” which are these crazy crispy creamy potatoes I got from a cooking show, with a golden beet, peach and goat cheese salad with white balsamic dressing.

(And for dessert, my specialty is chocolate soufflé with crème anglaise 😉)

17. Do ideas come to you in pieces or full?

I would say the majority of my ideas come to me in full... but the details that make the ideas work come in pieces. Usually when I am coming up with a new plot I start with a super basic outline that looks like this:

Point of No Return - a story about what happens when Cee & Ezra get off the Green / what Ezra meant when he said "no love too intimidating" / its on a farm - Ezra was a farmhand / pink / redemption and forgiveness / give them a cat / flashbacks

So it's like... I know what the whole story is "about" (in vague terms) before I set out writing it. I typically know (roughly) how it will end - though sometimes that changes, too - but at the very least I have an idea of what direction its heading in. Sorta.

In answering this question I realize that I typically know a lot less than I think I do when starting a new story lol

Do you edit your stories as you write, or do you dump everything out and then go back through it?

Laura! Thank you for coming in to spread some sunshine! I'm a little late to the party, but I'm excited to delve into this question!

I do some minor editing as I write, but mostly I'm stream of consciousness putting words on the page and then coming back for a big edit session. The exception to this is major scene rewrites! I will change and cut out things as I'm writing if I don't like the way it's going and need to backtrack. Sometimes I save those bits for later parts, but mostly I'm writing until I find the right parts and removing the chaff that I needed to get through to find the meat. I purposefully don't change grammar or sentence structure so I HAVE to go through and edit later, which irks me on rereads but does help me slow down and edit more thoroughly.
