If you’re a Jedi or Force-sensitive, it takes him twice as long to control his expression and he tells you how excited he is to meet someone with similar abilities.

Whenever you’re in the same room (especially if you’ve been apart for a while), the first thing he’ll do is seek out your presence—both through the Force and he’ll just be glad to stand close to you, gently rubbing a comforting hand across your back or shoulders.

If you were friends with Leia and/or Han before, they definitely knew what they were doing when they introduced the two of you and they tease Luke about it constantly.
