Childbirth Training is extremely beneficial to the laboring mom and dad/ coach. If both know what is expected of them labor can progress more smoothly. Relaxation equals progression. Will you teach yourself how to relax during contractions or will you end up buying your relaxation in the form of an epidural. We can not control all the unforeseen situations that may occur during labor. However, it is possible to still give birth naturally, if mom stays healthy & low risk and both prepare and train in advance to best manage labor. Don’t cheat yourself out of good quality training, bc you plan to have an epidural. Make plans to best manage contractions before you can get one and after if it doesn’t work for you.
