As a fan of women and Rpgs I find it kind of funny how diametrically different my romance choices in crpgs are. To contrast my 2 favorite companies, let's look at Larian and Owlcat girls.

Larian

Fairly conventionally attractive, not really even near the bizzare tier. If I'm honest these characters got a lot from their voice. All of these girls are because character, but these are like basic attractive traits. Lohse stands out by being like the only cheerful teammate in her game. And I swear to God it's really hard not to like Shadowheart after her development in Act 2

In contrast Owlcat has also has conventially attractive characters. But looks at these girls

While I'm not approaching monsterfucker tier by any means. It's weird that, especially with the existence of Karlach i prefer the split personality tiefling over her. And Cassia's extra eyes, gills, and clawed fingers have this strange beauty to them. The Arushale is just the excellent contradiction of a wholesome Succubus. (I have tried and failed multiple times to romance someone else in WOTR)

Ok no one mentioned it. I know we got a dose last episode but can we talk about how genuinely unsettling it is to hear Neo's body talking. Like it's not even the cat's voice. They've built up Neo as Silent for so long that her speaking at all feels uncomfortable. And the cat just capitalizing on the puppet aspect adds to the more subtle horror of it

Question for a Fandom.

I'm watching that Roku adaptation of The Spiderwick Chronicles.

Aside from the modernization were the Grace kids a lot younger in the book? I get the vibes the actors are all about 4 years older.

It's an interesting experiment going into an adaptation I know is an adaptation. But having never read the books. So what's the general consensus on this adaptation? Better than that old movie i never watched or a hack job?

Ok. I know we are are fucking ecstatic about the scene in the brothel, but holy hell can we appreciate how nuanced and layered the theme of Family is in this show

I know Silco's the villian, but damn when he's trying to raise Jinx you get the distinct impression he actually cares. He is a bad dude, but he's understandable. And knows how to use family against his enemies

Speaking of which the small details of Marcus regaining his morals, and being pushed over the edge to his love for his daughter.

Then there's Jayce and Caitlyn's sibling relationship showing a love but distance that has that has grown with Cait's independence. (Side note, make fanart of Cait in the Pepe Silvia format)

Then there's Jayce and Viktor, the science bros before council hoes team. They basically caused a revolution, to the point where Jayce in a bid to save his bids life kicked Heimerdinger, THE DONGER HIMSELF, off the council.

And Heimer is honestly a refreshingly written immortal, his concerns are genuine but his slow and steady perspective is easy to find frustrating.

And then there's the core of the show Jinx and Vi. This shit hurts man, watching Jinx getting a coping mechanism and being haunted by the ghosts of her family hurt. Seeing Vi respond to that flare was such an uplifting moment, then the "Are you real?" Made it crash back down.

It's just so interesting how in a way everyone in the show is motivated by their family

Silco to uplift Zaun

Heimer to keep his city safe from Rune Magic

It's just... God i wouldn't mind if Riot just canceled the game and let this show progress their universe.
