Hey Molly, thank you so much for everything you do on this account! It brings such joy to me everyday and you are fabulous!
I love the Wimbledon AU. Have you heard of Jeremy Chardy? He is a former French tennis player and he absolutely screams! tennis dilf Anthony. Salt and pepper beard, beautiful wife and adorable kid included
Tumblr media
Oh this is absolutely him!
Salt and pepper hair, salt and pepper beard. His entire Instagram is just pictures of him and Kate. Him and Kate after a run, a video of them arguing about whether or not a ball was in. Anthony holding Kate’s smoothie for her to drink while she’s in her ice bath.
And then when they start having kids? Anthony is the proudest Papa. And why should he not be? He firmly believes that his children with Kate are the greatest children that have ever been. He’s constantly bonbarding his family with photos and videos of Neddy.
“Look! He’s eating his swede and carrot mash! I made that! He loves it!”
He just loves his life now. He loves his wife, he loves their family, he’s a happy guy.

Tonight's dinner (03/10/23)
Tonight's omad was something that I have been wanting to try for a while. I originally planned to have a regular vegan hot-dog, but since this is orthorexic October, I decided to have a carrot-dog instead. I wasn't sure how this would turn out, but I can tell you that it was amazing!
This super little dish was so tasty and all day's cals including drinks was <500!
Find a nice sized carrot that will fit in a dog roll.
Top and tail the carrot. Now, steam it for about 18-20 minutes or until you can easily stick a fork in it. You don't want it mushy; just tender!
Cut your dog roll open and thinly spread some mustard and ketchup on both sides of the roll.
Meanwhile, little fry some chopped onion. I used a spray to save on cals.
Top tip
Roll the cooked carrot in the hot frying pan for a bit to dry it out a little before transferring it to the dog roll.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The rest of my dinner consisted of carrot and swede mash with kale. The dog roll was the biggest chunk of cals.
Peace be with you!

With the upcoming American holiday, do any of the mainverse characters celebrate Thanksgiving?
(they do, but here's a glimpse of a particularly special one in 2026)
“You okay, babe?” Pete hooked his chin over Lucius’ shoulder. The sketch taking shape was distinctly miserable, a crack in the sidewalk with a widening abyss inside it.
“Yeah,” Lucius sighed. “I’m fine, I swear. Just a little melancholy about the holiday.”
“You don’t have to go over to Izzy’s, you know. You could bring him over here. I know the food thing might be tricky, but I think we can manage not to kill him.”
“No, I know. But I don’t want to mess with your tradition. It’s sweet and if we’re there it’ll change things.”
“Probably for the better,” Pete kissed his cheek. “It’s an open offer, okay?”
“Yeah, okay.”
The Revenge folk all had their own takes on Thanksgiving and Lucius thought they were all pretty good.
Jim and Oluwande spent it with Oluwande's family and they did things traditionally. Once Jim had figured out how to make mashed potatoes, they were pretty confident about the whole event and usually distributed leftover sandwiches at the club the next day with Dolly’s blessing.
Stede and Eddy went to Mary's house which was probably awkward as hell, but that way the kids have the holiday with everyone together. Alma’s friends joined in various groupings over the years, rounding out the table.
Roach always took the whole week off and met up with his parents wherever their boat was docked to travel with them. He’d send photos of the distinctly not-American feasts he was having and describe them in detail with an open offer to attempt to replicate them on any willing guinea pigs when he got back.
Then there were Pete, Buttons, Frenchie and John, who had cobbled together their own traditions. Every year they each cooked one dish without comparing notes so they wind up with a mystery buffet that they took over to Buttons house to eat. There was the infamous year of All Pie that Pete talked about with amused nostalgia. The food was apparently followed by a Twilight Zone marathon.
While he was regularly invited to this bonanza, Lucius usually went to his mother's house and stayed the night, coming home in a by-now traditionally shitty mood.
Then last summer had happened. Lucius hadn’t even wanted to think about the holiday after the disaster of coming out to her and had opted to spend the day with Izzy, both of them determined not to think of the holiday at all.
This year, Lucius was pretty sure Izzy had turned down an invitation to his sister’s house to provide the same again and he was feeling guilty about it. Still, it was the man’s choice and Lucius really didn’t want to insert himself into the long-standing patchwork feast tradition.
It’d be fine. He would be fine. Hell, he’d probably be in a better mood than if he did go to his mother’s house. At least this way he’d get laid and no one would say passive-aggressive shit about his livelihood.
Still. It was hard not to feel a little weird about waking up on Thanksgiving morning (well, afternoon, it was a day off) with a kiss goodbye, the sounds of industry and then silence. He lay in bed, and indulged in feeling sorry for himself for a bit. Or at least, he tried. His phone rang before he could get into a really deep funk. It was Stede, sounding breathless,
“Hello! Happy Thanksgiving!”
“Happy Thanksgiving,” he repeated. “What’s up?”
“I know it’s a terrible day to ask, but I just got an alert that the backdoor of the club is open through the security app. It doesn’t seem like anyone opened it, but you know how windy it was last night. Can I be awful and ask you to take a look before you go to your plans? I don’t think anyone else will be close enough.”
“Fine,” he said with a sigh. “Who forgot to lock it? Was it the Swede again?”
“Probably me!” Eddy’s voice sounded distant and tinny. They were probably in the car. “Sorry!”
“You owe me,” he grumbled.
“Thank you,” Stede sighed. “If you can get there in the next half-hour, before someone gets opportunistic, I’ll owe you two.”
“I’m holding you to that.”
“As you should. Have a good holiday!”
“Yeah, thanks, you too.”
At least it forced him out of bed and into clothes. He texted Izzy as he went.
Lucius: Stopping by the bar first. Someone left a door open. Then onto your place.
Izzy: ok.
Laconic. Great. He hoped that wasn’t a sign for the way the day would go. He wasn’t in the mood to pull teeth. The train schedule was probably all fucked up and Lucius decided to walk. It was cold, but not bitingly and after walking for a few minutes, he felt all right. Everything felt nearly normal, even with the stores closed. People were still going about their business, cars in the streets and garbage out on the curb for tomorrow’s delayed pickup.
When he got close to the Revenge, he picked up speed. He suddenly very much wanted the familiarity of the bar and the familiar smell of the cleaner they used on the floors. Maybe it was missing home, in its own way.
The door to the back was not only unlocked, but propped open. Lucius swore and approached more cautiously. He heard people inside too. Great. He was going to have to break up some party and hope that he didn’t have to call the cops. With a sinking heart, he stepped inside.
“Oh, you’re right on time!” Stede greeted him, looking particularly cozy in a kelly green sweater.
“...what the fuck?” Lucius’ hand was still on the doorknob.
Behind Stede, the entire bar was lit up. The usual house lights that only got turned on the end of the night were gleaming and all the smaller tables had been pushed together into two long lines. Food groaned over every surface and there were people everywhere. All of their people. Eddy and Jim were standing over a particularly large turkey with some wickedly large knives. Izzy and Read were moving folding chairs in around tables to add extra seats.  Mary and Dolly were comparing something on their phones and laughing while Doug listened attentively to Ziva. Oluwande was guiding Charlie and Ava's kids through putting out utensils. Alma and Ingrid was sitting on the stage making construction paper chains
Pete was holding Pickle, who was attempting to scale to the top of his head while Delly tried to get her little socks back on. Buttons and Audra were arranging plates of cookies on the bar. Marvin and Roach were definitely having some kind of debate over the green beans that John was eavesdropping on with amusement. Frenchie had out his guitar, strumming idly, a meandering background music to it all.
“Let’s call it a late birthday gift,” Stede grinned at him. “I had the idea months ago, to do a big all-family party for the day. And I thought...well. I usually rely on you to arrange these things.”
“Yeah,” Lucius blinked rapidly. “Yeah, I’m good at that.”
“You are,” Stede agreed and crossed the space between them to pull Lucius into a hug. “But I decided it was my turn. So it’s all done. You don’t need to organize anything. Just come and have a seat with your family and enjoy, all right?”
Lucius was very glad for Stede’s ridiculously thick sweater. It had to absorb a few tears just then. Stede held him and it was a confident, strong hug. The man had gotten good at this at some point and Lucius just held him back.
“How’d you even manage all this?” he asked when he felt he could trust his voice again.
“Oh, I’m not helpless, you know. I can make a spreadsheet and make a few phone calls. Easy.”
“Eddy called in Izzy, didn’t she?”
“...please don’t mention it again.”
Lucius laughed waterily and brushed a kiss on Stede’s cheek, “Thank you. Your sacrifice is appreciated.”
Eventually, they would separate and Lucius would get his favorite seat in the world, jammed between Izzy and Pete. Izzy even had a wrapped plate that Roach had presented him with, so they got to really eat together.  The entire bar was filled with voices and noise and eventually, music too.
“Thank you,” Lucius turned to Pete and kissed him thoroughly when everyone else was distracted.
“What for?” Pete asked, pink and pleased.
“I know Stede didn’t think of this all on his own.”
“Aw, he did,” Pete insisted. “I maybe just implied a few things. It was okay?”
“Okay? This is amazing. I love you.”
“Love you too.”
It wouldn’t become a tradition, everyone would go back to their respective plans next year for the most part. Lucius would even go back to his mother’s house with some very strict boundaries in place and it would be fine. Not great, but fine. But for this one year, there was a golden memory that he would take out and admire from time to time. It was something to be thankful for

[Link to Part 5 here]
Hoxton was not a particularly patient man, meaning there were certain things in life he eschewed, particularly if it inconvenienced or otherwise bothered him.
He hadn't set foot in a grocery store for over eight months, but when he awoke, groggy and confused at Wolf's side, he scrawled a note for the Swede's benefit and went to the supermarket.
He stocked up on soft food he knew he could make - sweet potatoes for mash, jelly for dessert, sorbet and ice cream for soothing (and a special treat), soups and rice, noodles and everything else he could think of.
His presence in the safehouse kitchen didn't go unnoticed by the other heisters. Some of them got a snarky quip ("Mind your own fucking business or I'll chuck this boilin' water over yer 'ead, Houston"), a half-truth ("Thought I'd pull me finger out & sort out tea for once"), & the full truth only to Dallas & Chains, who he trusted unconditionally.
"Damn," Chains commented, watching as Hoxton prodded at the still-not-quite-ready sweet potatoes with a knife.
"No wonder you ran off," Dallas added with a concerned grimace.
Hoxton looked up at the pair of them, and was overcome with the need to tell somebody what he'd seen earlier.
"Wolfie put me down as his next of kin," he blurted out, the words tumbling from his mouth before he could stop them.
Chains raised his brows, but was not surprised. Dallas smiled, and made a sound that sounded suspiciously like an 'aww' before stopping at a look from Hoxton.
"What the fuck does that mean?"
"Oh, I know what it means," Dallas said, faux seriousness in his voice as he leaned in and whispered, "he has a crush on you."
"Oh, fuck off-"
"Ooooooohhh ohhh Hoxie, ooh I love you Hoxie-"
"Dallas, I swear to God-"
"Ooooh Hox, oh I love you Hoxton!"

1, 2, 13 & 14 for the soft asks 😌
1. what song makes you feel better?
Hmmm… Kiss the Go-Goat always makes me want to sing along, so that feels good to me. I will also never turn down a good singalong to ANY ABBA. Music that makes me feel all warm and cozy is pretty much anything by Joe Hisaishi - Howls Moving Castle, Spirited Away, & Totoro especially 🥰
2. What’s your feel good movie?
Labyrinth. The Dark Crystal. Muppets Christmas Carol.
13. what’s your comfort food?
A well cooked roast dinner. Chicken, roast potatoes, roasted parsnips, mashed swede, carrots, Yorkshire puddings, and gravy so thick you can stand a spoon up in it. (Always reminds me of Sunday dinners at my grandparents house)
14. favourite feel good show?
I don’t really have one TBH. If I was to choose anything it would probably be Doctor Who, specifically the Christopher Eccleston & David Tennant eras.

Molly honey! How are you enjoying your vacations? Are you taking care of yourself? Enjoying the views? Reconnecting with yourself? Eating and drinking water? Sleeping at least 8 hours per day?
Because I can't for the love of Newton understand how you have time (IN YOUR TIME OFF!!!!) to come with new scenarios where Kate and Anthony steal our hearts and make every room they walk in explode with sexual tension.
Having said that, I can't help but imagining the hole Bridgerton family plus the Sharmas arriving to eat at Kate and Anthony's and Anthony wearing his apron (very proudly, thank you very much) that says: "SAVE A PLANE, RIDE A PILOT", and Edwina being like "hey Google, how painful is to poke my eyes out? Really, from one to ten. It can not be more painful that reading what is written in that apron"
I am enjoying my holiday! You’re sweet to ask!
Okay put imagine Anthony, standing in their kitchen with a sweet little Dad moustache, humming happily as he cooks. Edmund in his high chair babbling excitedly, Kate nodding delightedly as though she understood every word between the Swede and carrot mash she was feeding him.
“Uhuh. Wow! Is that right Neddy?”
Edmund giggled happily, bouncing in his chair.
“Ugh Mummy loves you so much Neddy.” Kate sighed, kissing her son’s forehead, already the image of his father were it not for the wildly curly hair falling into his eyes. “Just as handsome as Papa.”
Anthony grinned at her as their lips met a little filthily right there in the kitchen.
And Edwina takes that moment to burst through the front door, an hour earlier than she was invited, a groan of disgust in her throat when she caught sight of Anthony’s apron, Save a plane, Ride a Pilot splashed across the front.
“Kate, have you seen what your husband, the father of your child is wearing?!”
And Kate just shrugs, slapping Anthony’s arse as she walked past. “I had it custom made for him. It’s sweet right?”
“It’s vile.”
“When you can tell your ex girlfriend you want to get back together, you can give me advice on my marriage.” Kate rolled her eyes.
“Absolutely brutal but I do appreciate it.”

Christmas Hazards for Your Dog
Tumblr media
We've put together our top tips to make sure you’re in the know about how to keep your four-legged friend safe this Christmas season, so your dog can enjoy the festivities too!
Tumblr media
Which parts of a Christmas dinner can I give to my dog?
Providing your dog is healthy and is not allergic to the following foods, it’s safe to feed your dog a little bit of these foods at Christmas:
turkey meat (no skin or bones)
salmon (fillets or cooked in spring water are preferable to smoked salmon)
lamb meat (no bones)
green beans
Brussels sprouts
parsnips
carrot
peas
swede
mash potato (best without added butter)
new potatoes
sweet potatoes
Note: New foods should always be introduced slowly, as too much can cause an upset tummy. Foods high in fat or salt should also be avoided.
Tumblr media
Toxic Christmas food for dogs
Christmas is the time for eating, drinking and being merry, but lots of our favourite festive foods are toxic to our dogs and should be kept well out of paws reach:
chocolate – chocolate is toxic to dogs and even small amounts can cause serious illness. Find out what to do if you think your dog has eaten chocolate.
Christmas pudding and mince pies – grapes and dried vine fruits, including currants, sultanas and raisins, can cause severe kidney failure if eaten
onions (and garlic, leeks, shallots and chives) – these all belong to the allium species of plant and are poisonous to dogs whether cooked or uncooked. Avoid feeding foods that include these ingredients, such as gravy.
alcohol – alcohol has a similar effect in dogs as it does in their owners. Make sure your dog can't help themselves to any unattended alcohol left lying around.
macadamia nuts – macadamia nuts can cause lethargy (tiredness), weakness in the back legs, increased body temperature, tremors and stiffness
leftovers – don’t be tempted to give your dog leftover Christmas food – they can include hidden ingredients toxic to dogs and mold in leftovers can make them ill
sweets – many of the sweets we eat over Christmas, such as candy canes, contain a sugar-free sweetener called xylitol, which is poisonous to dogs
Important: If you think your dog has eaten something they shouldn’t, contact your vet for advice.
Tumblr media
Are real Christmas trees poisonous to dogs?
The most common types of Christmas trees including pine, fir and spruce are not highly toxic to dogs, but oils they produce and the pine needles that drop from the tree can pose a risk. Not only can the sharp pine needles get stuck in your dog’s paws, they can also cause a mild stomach upset or blockage if eaten.
If you have a dog but would like a real Christmas tree, you can opt for a non-drop variety – just remember to never leave your dog unsupervised around the tree.
Tumblr media
Dog proof your Christmas tree
Christmas trees can have hidden dangers for your four-legged friend – here’s our top tips to keep your dog safe around the tree.
Keep decorations out of paws reach
Decorations such as baubles and tinsel can cause a dangerous stomach blockage if swallowed. Hang Christmas tree decorations up high to prevent mischievous paws (or tails) from knocking them off, and remember to never hang chocolate decorations as chocolate is poisonous to dogs.
Don’t leave presents under the tree
Christmas presents lying under the tree can be too tempting for our four-legged friends – especially if the gift is edible! It’s best to keep wrapped gifts out of paws reach, as wrapping paper can cause a blockage in your dog’s tummy if too much is eaten.
Keep fairy light cables tidy
The wires on fairy lights can be tempting for your dog to chew. Keep any cables out of your dog’s reach and remember to switch them off at the mains when they’re not in use.
Always supervise your dog
Whether you have a real or an artificial tree, it’s always best to supervise your dog around the Christmas tree, so you can spot mischief before they get themselves into trouble. It may be a good idea to keep your dog out of the room completely while you’re out.
Tumblr media
Christmas poisonous plants
Christmas plants make the season all the more festive, but these traditional Christmas plants are toxic to dogs:
poinsettia
holly
mistletoe
ivy
potpourri
Tumblr media
Stress in dogs at Christmas
The festive fun can get a little overwhelming for our four-legged friends – here are our tips for a stress-free Christmas with your dog.
Get to know the signs of stress
You can help your dog to deal with stress by understanding the signs – this will allow you to be aware of when the festivities are getting a little too exciting.
Don’t dress them up
Dressing up might seem fun for you, but remember that your dog will find it stressful. If you want to get your dog involved with the festivities, you could try making them a homemade Christmas present of their own instead.
Provide them with a safe place
Christmas brings with it lots of guests, but too many can be stressful for your dog. It’s best to prepare for visitors before they arrive, by providing a safe space for your dog to retreat. This could be a quiet room or a den – just make sure it’s somewhere where your dog can’t be disturbed, and remember to provide them with their food, water and any familiar toys, so they have everything they need in their safe space. This also applies if other pets are visiting your home.
If you are expecting visiting children during the Christmas period and your dog isn’t used to their company, take a look at our advice on keeping your dog and visiting children safe.
Stick to a Christmas routine
Routine can often get lost in the chaos of Christmas, but sticking to the routine that your dog is used to, can help minimize stress. Try to make sure your dog eats at the same time, still goes on the same amount of walks and has plenty of time to rest – Christmas can be tiring for our four-legged friends!

TETRIS SPOILERS
TETRIS has everything. EVERYTHING. Honest Russians, honest Westerners, dirty Russians, dirty Westerners, Cold War spying stuff, villains you love to hate, villains who hate each other, chilling monologues, beautiful '80s colour palette, The Final Countdown, a mash-up of Opportunies by Pet Shop Boys and the Tetris music (right??), Henk bringing flowers to his Russian boyfriend (I mean come on), the leitmotif of "Don't touch me yet I'm not ready for it" (and its satisfying payoff), and the nostalgic feeling that you're actually walking the Moscow streets of the '80s.
Tumblr media
It's an East meets West fairytale that even has a Boris-like character played by an actual Ukrainian actor, the "I look like an obnoxious bureaucrat but deep down I have a heart of gold that wants justice and what's best for my country" type of character. Like, if "Chernobyl" was filmed again with actual Russian and Ukrainian actors instead of Brits and Swedes, this guy would be Boris, end of.
youtube
And the best part, just because I'm a sucker for """details"""", is that the main Russian characters are played by actual Russian actors. Phew.
It's a rare gem, go see it.
