FROSTMAS IS MY OWN PERSONAL TAKE ON HOW JACK'S REIGN AS SANTA WENT FOR THE 12 YEARS HE WAS SANTA-ING ABOUT, BEFORE SCOTT CAME BACK AND THEY D-D-D-DUELED!

In TTYoF, commonly referred to here at SafyreSky Industries as Frostmas, Jack poofs to the moment the sleigh descends (because I said so) and starts his reign as Santa, the long way round. Of course, when he arrives, Bernard (YAY!) is like "well this is fucking WRONG" and summons the Council.

Unfortunately, Jack grabbed the coat; so now he's Santa. But then...who'll be Jack Frost?

Well, his Legate (remember that? From the Crystal Springs plug?) of course! His lil sister! My OC, Jacqueline Mother Fucking Frost!

I know boyfriend and girlfriend could have maybe both been terms for Friends who are just boys or girls (nit lovers), and I know also maybe a boy having a girlfriend was only assumed romantic because a boy interacting close with a girl was assumed romantic, and maybe a girl interacting romantically with a girl was just read as platonic cause well in our modern society definitely there's a trend to assume women who are super friendly or flirty are just Friends by default so who knows if it was the same in history. i used to think i had osdd, went on reddit, convinced myself i was faking, came here to tell people that sometimes u r wronf ab ur diagnosis then i listed all the "fake" symptoms i had and everyone was doggin on me n told me 2 do research. i DID but am still confused so i thought i would come to someone who looks like they kno what theyre talking about. cus i dont 'feel' like a diff person really in the moment evr i jus look back n go 'yeah that was not me'. but my opinions n sexuality never change anyways help.

hello! for starters, the only way someone is faking anything is if they are purposefully and consciously telling themselves or others that they are experiencing xyz without actually being truthful. but mistakes do happen and you are correct in saying that there is always the possibility people are wrong about their suspicions/self-diagnoses, obviously.

of course, we are no medical professionals or experts; we're just a couple of gals and pals yapping about our experiences! i will still offer the advice i can, but take it with a grain of salt compared to any actual medical professionals.

a while ago we made this response to being asked for pointers on identifying if one is a system. i think you might find it helpful if seeking advice like this from us. i will be referencing content from this post here!

OSDD1 is a little tricky due to its frequently used sub-categories, OSDD-1a and OSDD-1b. from what we know and have researched, it is not required that you fall under one or the other, and that those are just the two most commonly seen "types". on the surface of what you have described, i think that you would benefit from researching into OSDD-1a. individuals with OSDD-1a generally meet DID criteria however lack the presence of distinct alters. i find this page incredibly helpful when it comes to understanding OSDD-1a (third paragraph), although we do not have it and cannot entirely verify its accuracy. i have seen it mostly implied that individuals with OSDD-1a do experience amnesia and memory blackouts, which you did not mention experiencing in your ask. however, again, this is just a sub-category of OSDD1 and i believe it is not required to perfectly fit it. i just think that researching into OSDD-1a may find you the best results for some of the things you describe! of course, this is NOT me telling you that you for sure have it.

we say this in our original post we linked about questioning being a system, but it is very very so very important to also research into other disorders that have overlapping symptoms with OSDD1. a few of these are listed in the link i shared about OSDD-1a, in the fourth paragraph, but i suggest you also do separate research into what has overlapping symptoms, and then individually look into those results.

I grabbed my phone off my nightstand to see who could possibly be calling me in the middle of the night.

Mom??? Why the hell is she calling me at this hour?

"Hey mom. What's up?" I said sleepily. She was crying. Sobbing even. "Mom, slow down. I can't understand what you're saying."

"Dad and Jude were in a car accident. They're both in ICU. We don't know much yet. How soon can you get here?" She said between deep breaths in a desperate attempt to calm herself down. I knew they were heading on their annual father/son camping trip in Yosemite for the week before school started back up.

I lay there. Shocked. I don't even remember what I said to her after that. I don't remember getting off the phone. I just laid there. Frozen. Eventually I walked over to my desk, bringing my blanket with me because there's no cold like being woken up at 3am and having to get out of bed. Just me, my fuzzy socks, underwear, and a huge t shirt I stole out of some frat guy's drawer after he spilled his beer all over me one night. I opened my laptop and had to turn the brightness nearly all the way down. I was wide awake but my eyes were still used to the dark room.

Okay Stella. Just find the quickest flight to LAX. You can do this. The next flight out is in 4 hours. And it's first class but it will have to do. Better start packing. I'll  email my boss from the plane I guess. I can work from anywhere. Hopefully she'll give me a little bit of time off anyways. I doubt it.

I took a shower that was probably slightly too long for the amount of time I had. But I couldn't get myself to move quickly. My thoughts were racing a million miles a minute but my body moved in slow motion. I tried to hold my tears in because I was scared I wouldn't stop crying if I started.

Why didn't I call them yesterday to tell them to have fun and drive safely? What if I never see them again? The last conversation I had with dad was a fight. And now it feels so stupid. I wish I could tell him I'm sorry. Jude only has one year of high school left. He has to be okay. Senior year is so much fun. What if he doesn't get to experience it?

I got out of the shower, blowdried my hair and put some waterproof mascara on. Just in case. I put on my black cross waist leggings, the comfiest beige crop tank top, and a pastel pink and white checkered cardigan. I never travel anywhere without my crocs. Are they acceptable in first class? I wasn't sure. I'd never flown first class but I didn't care today. Crocs it was.

I quickly took the elevator downstairs from the 12th floor. I had moved to New York about 6 months ago for work. My apartment was downtown. Just a studio but the view was incredible. And I even had a balcony. Even though I loved where I lived, leaving home felt so stupid right now. Why did I ever leave?

I tracked down the first cab I could and prayed they could get me to the airport in time. I threw in my headphones and tried to forget that anything was wrong. Maybe the flight would be easier that way.

The Mother gf is desmera webber a distant cousin on the peake side of the family married to a mullendore knight. desmera is a social climber who maris thinks is funny she thinks the attempts at sabotage and subterfuge are cute entertainment. desmera's husband dies and and maris realises desmera killed him so she could find a better richer husband and when desmera tries to seduce jae she's like ight ok thats enough Its Not Funneh Enymore (british accent). then its a fun cat and mouse game where maris marries her off a couple times and each time desmera kills him cos she wants to marry a better guy. maris ends up killing her and framing it as a suicide cos desmera tries blackmailing her with the lesbian thing +targ secrets.

Warrior gf is a lady knight :) she's bethany brune The She-Bear from crackclaw point :) kind of like jonquil darke/alysanne. dies protecting maris rip

Smith gf is a lowborn blacksmith wife :) after aerion murdered the high septon maris went kinda cuckoo and ran off to harrenhal cos she hated jae so much. then viserra is just too crazy for her so maris says fuck it and dresses like a peasant and lives in lord harroway's town for a while where she meets sexy big milf butch tansy and lives her marie antoinette peasant milkmaid fantasy for a while before she gets bored and misses her kids and fancy clothes so she and tansy break up mutually nicely :) only normal relationship she ever has. ends up raising harroway's town to the status of a city :)

Craziest one is. Crone gf. her name is rhea upcliffe nee lynderly the witch of snake isle. she becomes the mistress of whispers after maegor kills tyanna and stays in power for decades. she's like 80 by the end of her life but looks 40 and she wears a green ribbon around her neck at all times 😈 maris and rhea have an on/off relationship since maris was like 17. anyway rhea starts convincing maris that elinor is a spy for aerion whos there to seduce helaena and helped kidnap her to essos etcetc and maris goes a little nutso (her daughter DID get kidnapped by her exile son sooo) and confronts elinor but elinor is like wahhhh what tf is going on😭 rhea hates me bcos i found out she's a necromancer and probably undead😭 and maris begs forgiveness and then rhea shoots a crossbow into elinor's skull lol. so maris kills rhea :3 whether elinor was a spy or if rhea was undead is unclear. maybe it didnt even happen and maris was just going crazy lol who knows...

the stranger is jaehaerys 😈 maris and jaehaerys have a tense relationship very bad from the outset. jaehaerys loved aerea and after aerea died he became the Stoic Man that maegor kept trying to beat him into. he's obsessed with recreating valyria in westeros because he wants a real home. aerea's name is forbidden or itll cause a screaming fight. jae wanted to name his heir aerion after her but maris was like LMAO over my fuckin dead body. but he was like well fucking one of them will be. so the younger twin he named aerion and maris never forgave him for the slight. she thinks he's a weird creep about viserys(his mother-father) and after viserys dies and jae starts collecting boy youths that look like him she fully loses any respect for him she thinks he's the most disgusting man ever. doesnt like the way he treats viserys(their son). viserys ends up favouring a young hightower cousin of maris which is the last straw and she snaps and does a murder-suicide RIP babygirl

Im gonna drop a vent to you and I'm sorry for it you can just skip it if you like. I'm korean and a lesbian. I love kpop a lot, especially because some of my favorite idols imo speak to my experience in some of their art or the way they choose to work, you know? But with the new influx of westerners mainly with BTS, I'm starting to see more homophobic comments than usual and its making kpop spaces very uncomfortable for me. An example or two. I have certain opinions on Key and he is one of my favorite idols. But I saw for the first time in a while people saying things like he's not gay, he's korean, you all just think twink korean boys are gay and its because you're gay westerners and put this on them etc. This was from a westerner. Another one is after that now infamous wendy yst interview with twice members. I saw so many people saying things like sana can't be sapphic she's just a queerbaiting kpop idol she's so het so straight she dresses so girly she's trying to bait you for money blah blah blah., you can assume her sexuality because it's offensive to think she's sapphic, no lesbian looks like that, she was only being a friendly gal pal (that was flirting like are people stupid). I'm a femme korean lesbian mind you. I saw it with Moonbyul too after shutdown like I've seen people on twitter say you still can't call her a sapphic because its an assumption when she wrote...that song. I feel like I can't walk through kpop spaces now without some weird almost coloniser rhetoric about us and about how we express queerness, or painting us as always being money grabbing opportunists who are never queer sincerely and like comparing idols like Key to Harry styles as if they are in remotely the same position, and there's just this intersection of how it makes me feel about my race and my sexuality that really hurts. I felt so triggered after that wendy interview seeing the way mostly western people absolutely had to straight zone Sana and ascribe her racially charged characteristics, same thing with key this week with his stages and wearing those clothes. I mean for me I am happy to say I think so and so idol is a sapphic or a gay man but there's this new thing with western people who demonise this and think koreans or asians can't be gay? hello! yes i've talked about this stuff at length there's a really ugly social media phenomenon that's been building for years and it's really a mix of general homophobia, orientalism, and how people talk about queerness on twitter/sns in general. it's really annoying and it's really ugly and lots and lots of people are out there being simply wrong and racist and homophobic and there's nothing we can do about it. i'm sorry it's making u uncomfortable it makes me p uncomfortable too.

i have said it before on my blog and it is pretty clear for gay korean people when korean celebrities might be gay or not. westerners have a hard time telling what is standard behavior for korean people when it comes to fashion, self-presentation and care, and behaviors with other people. most male idols do not fit standards of western masculinity and do not fit korean standards for masculinity either but it is simply the job of an idol to look youthful and pretty and fashionable and those things are seen as gender noncomforming to many people including many koreans. there is also a clear distinction between queer idols flagging to their fans that they are queer and actual kpop queerbaiting which is when companies have idols pair up and flirt with each other as a marketing scheme or put little nods to the profitable gay audience but don't actually care. and there are also straight korean celebrities that genuinely care about their lgbt fans and want to express that as well. we can discern these things and many westerners can too, many people simply do not try.

it's orientalism that makes people think that korean and asian people generally can't be gay because we live in conservative countries as if the west is not even more violent toward lgbt people in many ways. they have an inability to see asian people as actual human populations with many kinds of people with many experiences, they take the surface level of asian countries that they can consume as the absolute truth and think they know everything about us.

and overall people just say dumb shit constantly and the online environment for kpop fans is becoming so noxious because of things like twitter culture cultivating cruelty and quick shock value statements as the kind of humor that gets popular and how mainstream kpop is becoming.

it's genuinely hurtful esp when people say this stuff about key because he is so careful and caring about flagging and talking about acceptance and confidence in your own identity and key has been facing homophobia his entire career. the people that know what he is communicating to us as lgbt fans can tell very easily. there's a new flood of people being cruel about him and to him, even putting homophobic slurs in his comments and thinking that's not a malicious thing to do. have not personally seen the harry styles comment if anyone said that in front of me in real life i would genuinely consider physical violence. like. excuse me???

anyway i hope this long response helps u at all! i totally understand where ur coming from and u can come vent to me again if u want! it's a really concerning and violent trend on the internet with korean people being so exposed to the global audience now it made me feel kind of crazy that so many people can consume and make queer coded content from and about korean celebrities and claim that i don't exist. i hope u can find a way to enjoy ur hobbies in peace!

Okay, AGAIN... let's look at this through the lens of the main viewership (cishets).... they aren't going to get that nuance or come to that possibility. They're going to see this scene and be like "LOL this was a funny punchline!" or "Wow, outing people is a fun joke!" No, FUCK THAT. It would NOT have been that hard to INSTEAD, have Tara bring Rebecca into the round table room and preface it with 'This is Rebecca from the DOJ, who is also my girlfriend, but that's unimportant right now...." Personally, I think a lot of (queer) fans are desperately trying to look at Tara's coming out as a 'perfect' scene. Somnus’ Nightmare has collected little porcelain figurines since they were children, and has always had an affinity for horticulture.

Somnus was (and still is) obsessed with bugs, biology, zoology, and anatomy. He would absolutely freak Dream and Nightmare out by trying to show them the “super cool spider I just found”.

Somnus doesn’t have good magic control or stats. He sometimes wishes he didn’t have it at all, rather than being weak. Because of this, he took up a lot of material arts, such as medicinal practices and potion making.

Somnus is a *serious* insomniac. Like, the hardly sleeps insomnia with night terrors and daydreams attached (realizing the irony in that).

Somnus only started becoming interested in science because he was looking for a way to create and sustain artificial magic. His hope was that by using natural elements, he could find a way to enhance his magic. Heeee has yet to find that solution.

Somnus’ Dream was a very oblivious child. Not in the “dumb blonde” stereotype way, but in the way that if he wasn’t told something, it didn’t happen in his mind. He was, however, very observant.

Each of the brother’s gained something from their mother tree: Dream’s cape from the banner sigil, Nightmare’s powers from the blackened apple, and Somnus’ talisman carved from the wood of a branch that fell in a storm.

Problem Sleuth - I like the whole deal where sleuth assumed he was milquetoast straight for most of his life until he met slick and was like uh oh im bisexual arent i! i think he had other close call moments but sort of mental-gymnastics'ed himself into believing it was just admiration for their hardboiledness or like Friendly Comradery fit with all the intricate rituals to touch another man. fighting and arm over each others shoulders while drinking away at the bar sort of thing. falling in love with slick sort of hit him like a truck, injuries and all. he still sometimes grapples with old habits dying hard though. no i will not elaborate :( sorry.

Hysterical Dame - think she knew for forever she was bi, like i think she had a lot of anime ass moments back when she was in school where a lot of girls would fall for her Roguish Charms and outgoing personality and it was relatively easy for her to explore from there. very much the girl knight in shining armor sort of effect from her willingness to get into fights as well.

Pickle Inspector - wow i think he was well aware he was queer from the get-go. he always knew he was weird or whatever because of his grab bag of issues and quirks, so i think him realizing he was attracted to whoever was not really that big of a deal to him. less of a gay awakening more of a gay "oh i accidentally put an extra box of cereal in my shopping cart. ok". i think if he wasn't literally crawling out of his skin with psychosis and anxiety he would enjoy old drag culture a lot. but as it stands now its way too elbow-to-elbow social and young for him to really get into it. and he's much too busy... (excuse)

Nervous Broad - similar to Sleuth surprisingly i think she had a very late sort of deal where she had the classic "wait, you dont act this way when you see cute girl?" moment with her gal pals from uni. HD being very easy to get along with and very direct made it easy for NB to realize she was developing feelings for another woman. i think NB is very much like bi/pan (she doesnt really get or feel strongly about labels) but she has a really strong preference for femmes.

Ace Dick - apologies to ace dick likers who disagree but AD to me is like the Staple Early 1900s Man from the Adverts. he has a lovely wife who he loves so much and a rambunctious boy he plays catch with on the weekends and they sit around the radio to catch the regular mystery hour. he's aware that there's been a few men about town that he'd probably be willing to get to know more personally in another life, but he's fully satisfied with his little city-suburbia Classic Heterosexual Middle Aged Couple dynamic. so basically no salient gay awakening type moments, just in tune with himself to be aware hes probably not classically as straight as people assume him to be. i also like to joke internally that he considered sleuth one of those aforementioned "men about town" before the guy went and opened his mouth, demolishing the thought before it had even finished forming HAHAHA

Spades Slick - very much has lived by the code of living dangerously, down to his partners. usually tends to be drawn to the kind of people who give the impression of someone who would not have many qualms about slitting your throat in the middle of a hookup. scarysexual. think thats why in my head he's had a few on and off moments with droog (even though truthfully, droog is a lazy stringbean of a guy, despite the outward reputation that precedes him). its for sure why he's so drawn to Snowman, even though their dynamic from start to finish has never been anything close to a healthy relationship. but they both feel it works for them, so they keep going. (i think this is why him shacking up with sleuth was such a surprise to everyone that knew him well - sleuth's soft, and worse, he's got a working moral compass. that's not slick's typical mark. but he gives as good as he gets all the same, in both fighting and fucking, so slick doesnt think twice about how he's breaking status quo. and thats how he ends up catching feelings along the way). i got off topic. tldr; slicks never really thought about his sexuality so no real gay awakening moment either. more of a whoops caught feelings moment, since that was rarer and later in life.

Diamonds Droog - WORST case of hetero posturing you'll ever encounter ever in your life. kept a lot of Tasteful Female Nudes on and around him to """""accidentally"""" let slip to ascertain YES he is SO HETEROSEXUAL. there is NO DOUBT that he LOVES WOMEN. in reality he's been painfully aware that he's into men since he was practically a teen and has worked to cover that fact as thoroughly as possible since. i like to think that contributed to how he got so good at lying. and also why he's repressed as all get out fuck and extremely extremely private about his sex life. normal relationships whomst? anyways id like to direct everyone to helen's (@jawbonejoe) catholic guilt portion of the droog headcanon corner because that basically sums up a similar idea LOL

Clubs Deuce - kind of a natural airhead sort of charmer, so has naturally had a lot of people of various gender identities approach him for a date or two early on. he also doesn't see the point of saying no as long as he likes them somewhat, and boy he sure does love people! later he finds out there's nifty names for the kind of people you like to date, and they come with fun colored flags - well ain't that just swell? when he gets later into his crew involvement in his early 30's, he gets less people approaching him right off the bat for intimate socializing, and since he's not really the type to reach out himself, he kind of stagnates for a while dating-wise until he hits his middle years. then he becomes Kind Of A Dilf and gets back into the dating scene. so not so much a gay awakening either.

im zooted atm so apologies if anything is confusing or run-on, but that's basically the 411 on my sexuality headcanons for the team and crew respectively. hope u enjoyed anon!! sorry it's long. i didnt get too much into gender stuff because to be honest, my headcanons on their gender journeys are a lot less solidified in my head. i like to go with whatever headcanons the people around me lean into, since i dont feel strongly about them. this is probably because i dont feel a strong attachment to my own gender. like if gender is a spectrum i am a mote of dust that is floating nearby. generally my defaults tend to be that PI and NB are very much genderfluid and nonbinary, slick is trans (if human - i assume that due to the nature of carapacian production, gender doesnt have the same meaning or impact as it does with humans, and therefore gender identity isnt really something that's needed for them. unless specifically they're formed and prototyped into a universe that is heavily impacted by gender, in which case they can understand it conceptually. otherwise theyre out here presenting however they want down to like re-prototyping their bodies to comfort), DMSG is intersex and identifies as a woman (whoops shes not technically team sleuth but i think about here a lot), and sonhearst likes to identify as transmasc (i like to imagine AD and WH sort of being boomers about the lingo but very much being fully supportive and loving parents about it. heart in the right place sort of comedy vibes).
