~ Friday Night ~

Christine woke up with a headache, she fainted last night because of the amount of blood that Azusa drank from her. She woke up in her room and checked herself in the mirror. There were no other bite marks on her, just the one on her neck and wrist. Good, she thought, he didn't take advantage of her while she fainted. Tonight is her first shift at the Sakamki’s mansion. Christine already has a bad feeling about this. She is not happy here in Japan and regrets accepting Karlheinz's work offer. Staring at herself in the mirror, she can see the pain and loneliness that she is feeling. Christine closes her eyes and she remembers an inspirational poem by Kathy Russell that helped her move on after her breakup with Mark. She had read it so many times that she knew the poem by heart.

Christine: “I will walk slowly through this day.

I leave what is not needed behind from yesterday.

I will treasure all the knowledge to move forward.

What I do today will not change or erase the past.

I move on knowing that today I will do differently than before.

If I fail, there will be another tomorrow and a future tomorrow for hope.”

She opens her eyes.

“A future tomorrow for hope…” she said softly to herself.

She goes to the bathroom to take a bath and to get ready for tonight.

Butterflies and birds flying

The sound of the waterfall

As he's walking towards the river

He sees Christine sitting on a rock

Looking at the red rose she has in her hand.

- Azusa is confused -

Azusa: (Am I dreaming? Or did I came here to the river with Rose-san? She’s wearing her white princess dress with the blue ribbon around her waist…)

“Rose-san…”

She looks at him.

Princess: “Rose-san?”

She stands up with a smile and walks closer to him.

“Perhaps you want this rose? Is that what you want, Azusa?”

Azusa: … …

“No… I'm calling you Rose… because you said… you liked the name… I chose for you…”

Princess: “I like it better when you call me, “Princess.”

Azusa: “Eh…?”

(Am I really dreaming again!? Did the real Rose-san left me!? And went back to her forest, back to the dream world…)

He starts to panic and grabs her shoulders.

Azusa: “Rose…! Please… let’s go back to the mansion together…! I don't want to be left behind again…!”

- He grips her shoulders really tight and shakes her -

She frowns and pushed him with ease. Azusa falls backward to the ground.

Princess: “You need to learn how to control yourself, or else I will kill you!”

She puts one foot on his chest, adding a strong pressure.

Azusa: “Fufu… this pain… Hehehe… it feels good… please step on me… harder…”

The princess smirks and adds more pressure to his chest. Hearing his moan got her excited.

Princess: “You are lucky I like you, Azusa. I would have killed you a long time ago.”

She sat on top of him and leaned down staring at his lavender eyes.

“Do you like me that much, that you go this crazy for me?”

She runs her fingers through his hair.

Azusa: “I do… I want you by my side… Rose…”

Princess: “Rose… you keep calling me that.”

She stares at the red rose that she is still holding.

“Azusa… You need to calm down and prepare for what is about to come…”

Azusa: “Eh…? What do you mean…? Do you know about… Karlheinz plan…?

She nods.

Princess: “The time has not come yet…”

Tears run down the princess cheeks.

“Lots of blood will be spilled from the special Rose…”

Azusa: “No…”

He panics again.

- He sits up and cups her cheeks -

“Princess… My Rose… if you know anything about his plan… please… tell me in detail… My brothers and I can help you…”

The princess stares at him with a deep gaze.

Princess: “All five of you are part of his plan…”

Suddenly her tears turned into blood.

Azusa flinch at the sight of blood coming out of her eyes.

- He wakes up -

Azusa: “Rose…!”

His heart was racing and his body was full of sweat. Azusa gets out of his bed and runs out of his room to look for Christine. He needs to see her, to make sure she didn't left him and that she's okay. The princess' words came to his mind while he was searching desperately for Christine.

(All five of you are part of his plan…)

He went outside and saw Yuma in his vegetable garden.

Azusa: “Yuma…! Where is Rose...? Have you seen her...?”

Yuma: “Aahn? Who the fuck is Rose?

Azusa: “Christine-san…”

Yuma: “Oh you mean Blondie. . She went with Ruki to those bastard's mansion. Che, You knew about this Azusa.

Azusa: “… Justin… you heard that…? She didn't leave me…” He suddenly feels more relaxed.

Yuma: “Aahn!? The fuck are ya talkin’ about? You also look like shit! What is wrong with ya?”

Azusa: … …

Yuma: “You have been actin’ weird around Blondie. I get it that for a human, she is good-lookin’ but I don't see a reason for ya to be obsessed with her.”

Azusa: … …

Without saying anything, he turns around and goes back to the manor.

- Sakamaki’s Mansion -

Christine and Ruki were standing in the living room. Five of the Sakamaki brothers were there.

Christine: (They all look so evil! They give me even more darker vibes than the Mukami brothers. I do believe Ruki when he told me, “They will rip you apart.” All five of them are looking at me with hunter eyes, it feels like I'm the little mouse and they are all the snake that wants to eat me. Especially the guy with the fedora hat. She starts to feel chills down her spine…)

Christine moves closer to Ruki.

Reiji: “So you are the woman our father told Shu about. We have been expecting you.”

Christine: “Yes, my name is Christine.”

Laito: “Nfu~ well, well. So we are gonna have another cute woman in our mansion. Nfu~ she smells lovely, I can't wait to have fun with our new, Bitch-chan.”

Christine: “Bitch-chan!?”

Ruki: “Livestock will be staying with my brothers and me in our manor. She won't need a room here. Every Friday on her work shift one of my brothers or myself will accompany her here.”

Subaru: “Che, you idiots always stickin’ your noses where it doesn't belong.”

Laito: “Geez, not fair! Father clearly sent her here for you guys to share her with us. Nfu~ I don't mind her staying in my room once a week.” He said with a smirk.

Christine: (Eww! Such a creep!…)

Kanato: “She would look lovely as one of my dolls, right Teddy? The only problem is that her scent is too flowery. IT IS ITCHING MY NOSE!”

Shu: “Damn, you are all annoying, Can we hurry this up so I can go back to sleep.”

- Ayato and Yui walk into the living room -

Ayato: “Why the fuck do we have a Mukami bastard here? And who the fuck is she!?”

Yui: “Oh Hello, Ruki-kun.”

Christine: (The human girl Ruki told me about. She is so pretty and looks very delicate…)

Ruki: “Hello Eve, it is nice to see you again. Let me introduce you to Livestock, She will be working here every Friday for the summer. You should be happy to have a female companion.”

Christine: “The name is Christine Melendez. Is nice to meet you.”

Yui: “Nice to meet you too. You have a pretty name. My name is Yui Komori. So what type of job will you be doing here in the mansion?”

Christine: (She seems so sweet and polite…)

Christine was about to answer her question but one of the Sakamaki’s interrupted her.

Reiji: “She will help me with the chores of the mansion, I have her work schedule. I'm glad Father sent in someone to help since you idiots don't do anything but cause trouble.”

Laito: “Nfu~ so she will be our personal maid. Fufu~ This turned out to be even better. I love having a good time with maids. Nfu~ It brings back good memories.”

Christine: “I will not be anyone's personal maid.”

Subaru: “Che, when you're in this mansion you will do whatever we say!”

Christine: “I will not!”

Subaru: “Shut up!”

He punches the wall.

Reiji: “Subaru! Stop punching the wall!”

Ayato: “You sure have some guts for being a Chihuahua.”

Christine: “Huh!?”

Reiji: “Good grief, that is enough. Let me do the introductions before we start with your first task. The one over there is the eldest son Shu. My name is Reiji and I'm the second son, then comes the triplets, Ayato, Kanato, and Laito. Lastly, the youngest is Subaru. You already have met Yui. So now, you woman, come with me. We are wasting time already.”

Shu: “Before you leave, the old man specified, like with Yui. That we are not allowed to kill her.”

Christine: !!!!!

Laito: “Geez, what's his deal lately wanting us to keep these recent Bitch-chans alive?”

Shu: “He was really firm about keeping her alive. He said he would kill us if anything happened to this Woman.”

Reiji: “I see. I guess you are special to Father. Very well, follow me, Christine.”

Christine: !!!

“Okay...”

She looks at Ruki.

“Ruki, are you coming with us?”

Ruki: “Go ahead with Reiji, I need to talk to Shu first, I'll join you later Livestock.”

Christine: (Huh!!! He's leaving me alone with this man…)

She follows Reiji, feeling scared.

Ayato: “Come, Chichinashi. Let's go eat takoyaki.”

Subaru: “Che, I'm out of here too.”

He walks away.

Kanato: “Achoo!! HER DAMN FLOWERY SCENT IS TO STRONG! Achoo! It's making me sneeze! Come let's go, Teddy. Achoo!”

Laito: “Fufu~ so our little family meeting is over. What a shame. Her scent doesn't bother me. Nfu~ I guess I'll see our new Bitch-chan later then.”

- Both Kanato and Laito leave the living room -

Shu: “Such a hassle.”

He sits up.

“What the hell do you want to talk about?”

Ruki: “Do you know what plans your Father has with that woman?”

Shu: “Beats me, and I don't care what his plan is.”

Ruki: “Hmph, her blood scent is similar to Eve's. But I thought there is supposed to be only one Eve.”

Shu: “I do find it odd, that this time he sent someone older and not a virgin.”

Ruki: “So I guess this means it doesn't have to do with another bride.”

Shu: “Whatever. I don't care, Now go away, I'm feeling sleepy.”

Zzz… Zzz

Ruki: “You are lazy as always, Shu.”

- The scene starts in the Laundry Room -

Reiji: “Your first task will be folding these clean clothes. Both of us will have a pile.”

Christine: “You will be folding clothes too?”

Reiji: “That's what I just said, good grief. You women nowadays are all airheads. Do you have a problem with me folding the laundry?”

Christine: “I don't. Apologies.”

Reiji: “Hmph.”

He stares at her.

“Shu told me you are from the United States. Which State do you come from?”

Christine: “New York.”

Reiji: “I see.”

Christine: (His deep gaze is making me nervous…)

Reiji: “At least you look proper and you're dress nicely. I hope your working skills are as good as the way you look. Now get to work.”

Christine: (Did he just compliment me? I can feel my cheeks flushed. Reiji is so intimidating, he's making me feel so nervous. I feel like I'm gonna fucked this up…)

-She starts folding the clothes and minutes pass by -

Reiji: “I simply cannot believe this! You don't know how to do a simple task like folding the laundry.”

Christine: “Huh? How did I fold this wrong?”

Reiji: “You dare ask a stupid question? Good grief! What was my father thinking in bringing in a maid who doesn't even know how to fold the laundry correctly?”

Christine: (She’s done with his rudeness! Her anger got the best of her…)

“Then you fold the damn laundry yourself!”

She walks away.

- Reiji suddenly pushes her against the wall with his hand on her neck, choking her -

Reiji: “Know your place human! Do not dare defy me unless you wish for me to punish you the most painfully way. Am I clear?”

She gasped.

Reiji: “Heh… Haha! Look at you squirming for your life from just a slight pressure applied to your neck. I could easily kill you if I wished to do so.”

Christine: … …

(He has a sadistic look in his eyes. It was a struggle to speak since she could barely breathe…)

Ruki: “Reiji, let her go. You know you are not allowed to kill her.”

- Reiji removes his hand from her neck -

She coughs.

Reiji: “Hmm. Watch your mouth next time. Now get out of here, you are useless.”

Christine: (His words hurt! Mark used to call her that all the time. Her heart begins to ache…)

She walks away, holding back the tears.

- Ruki grabs her arm and stops her in the hallway -

Ruki: “Livestock! Are you dumb? I warned you about the Sakamaki's and yet, you didn't listen and almost got yourself killed on your first night with them!”

Christine: (Oh no! I can't hold the tears any longer…)

“I’m sorry…”

Ruki: “Good grief woman! Get a hold of yourself. Showing weakness is not gonna do you any better. Now pull yourself together, you have another work task to do and you don't want the rest of the brothers to see your weakness. I am clear?”

She wipes her tears.

Christine: “You’re right, I'm sorry. I'll do better… but before I start the new task can I use the bathroom first?”

Ruki: “I don't know where the bathrooms are here. So let's go find Yui and ask her.”

*TimeSkip*

Christine took a few deep breaths, looking at herself in the mirror, she saw she had bruises on her neck from Reiji. Her eyes looked puffy and red because she cried a bit more when she got into the bathroom.

Christine: (I'm always getting hurt. I don't think I will be able to handle this any longer… Tomorrow is my day off, I plan to get out of the house and hopefully, I can get a signal on my phone to contact Father. I just need to get over this night…)

She took one last deep breath to calm herself and got out of the bathroom.

Yui: “Christine-san.”

Christine: “Ah! You scared me.”

Yui: “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to.”

Christine: “No need to apologize. I'm fine.”

Yui: “C-Christine! Who did that to your neck?”

Christine: … …

“It was Reiji… but let's not talk about it, I will be okay.”

(She's looking at me with so much concern…)

Yui: I‘m sorry that he did that to you… The reason I am here is because Ruki sent me to get you for your next work task. You and I will be picking different flowers together in the garden. Reiji needs a good amount to put on different vases for the mansion.”

Christine: “No need to be sorry, this was not your fault… Anyway, I'm glad we are gonna do this task together. I love flowers, especially roses.” She said with a smile.

Yui: “Me too!” She said smiling back at Christine.

- Yui takes Christine's hand very gently -

Yui: “I’m happy you're here, Christine-san. It's nice to have another female in the mansion even if it's just once a week.”

She let go of her hand.

Christine: “Thank you for your kindness, Yui. I hope we can get to know each other and become friends throughout this summer.”

Yui: “I would like that too, now come follow me.”

Christine feels calmer with Yui and follows her as she leads the way towards the Garden.

it's christmas night.

for the nth time, ayato stayed at home, phone in his hand, ready to see santa coming to their manor and leave presents. he thought "i'm a vampire. i stay awake at night. ain't no way i can't see santa!! i'll prove to those dumbass brothers of mine that santa is real!!". he was doing SO well... but at one point he started feeling drowsy. poor him, he was so excited he didn't really sleep much that morning. he swears he closed his eyes for only 5 minutes.

santa was already gone.

the next afternoon, he's all grumpy cause he missed the opportunity again. everyone keeps telling him he didn't see santa cause he, in fact, doesn't exist, but he just replies "don't spout that kinda bullcrap!! who the fuck is sendin' everyone in the world presents then!?".

Awkward fluctuation, and cold chills, were the only things the student could garner from the stranger’s voice. That, and even without turning to look at him, Gwen could vividly paint the malicious glare he shot at them. He was a vampire, no doubt. With that horrid sound coming his veins, and the disgustingly dark air flowing off of him, and into their space.

Teleportation or not, a vampire will still interrupt the airflow. And as expected, that looming, chilling, presence crowded them from the right side. Sharpened fangs right next to the shell of their ear, the lack of body heat practically freezing their limbs. Yet their eyes still never glanced his way, and instead checking any and every crevice of the hallway that surrounded them. The distance from the floor to the ceiling, from their position to the nearest exit, the coverage that vampire managed to gain with his teleportation.

❝ Your scent is treacherous, and putrid. You’re ruining my appetite..! ❞

The boy’s shrieking cries grew ever louder in their ears, as they had to control the impulse that almost befell their hands. The urge to secure that kid’s tongue, and rip it from his throat was strong— yet not something to be done during school. Nor at all really, if they wanted this boy to be useful.

❛ Appetite … Hm. He’s easy to aggravate, and likely won’t take kindly to being ignored now that he’s begun to speak…❜

One foot began after the other— Even still the voids they held for eyes never even glanced his way. However, an icy hand seized their wrist, shoving their entire form into the nearby wall. A violent thud erupting from the surface, as the sheer force of his grip was enough to dislocate the bones in their wrist.

❝ Hey! Who gave you permission to ignore me in such a way! You’re worthless- Disgusting!! You’re upsetting Teddy with such disrespect-! ❞

In the midst of his worked up haze, a needle had flown from the teen’s pocket. No thicker than a strand of hair, and extremely hard to see— though easy to remove, if spotted. Minuscule finger twitches came from their unoccupied hand, the thinnest of threads manoeuvring the object to where it is supposed to be. The nape of his neck was struck, right as the boy’s hand jerked from their wrist in order to go for their neck.

Slim, cool, sharp fingers wrapped around their windpipe. The disgusting feeling of his skin upon theirs, the audacity in which he wished to touch them without permission. It made them want to gag— As they were held up by their neck alone.

❝ Answer me! ❞

❝ Kanato. Compose yourself immediately, lest you wish to be suspended for assault. ❞

With a detached expression, the human’s eyes slowly scanned from the purple haired one, to the new bespectacled man that stood before him.

❛ His older brother, perhaps? I doubt the kid has any friends, with how unpredictable and… Energetic he is. Yet they don’t seem to fond of each other, given their gazes. If not a sibling, maybe a guardian? ❜

❝ Who are you to scold me like this Reiji?! Do you know the kinds of contaminations this wretched human has filled the air with?! It’s revolting!! ❞

❝ Which is precisely why I’m asking you to drop them. You’ll be walking home if you even dare bring that putrid scent anywhere near our property. ❞

Like a child throwing a tantrum, the student was quite literally tossed from Kanato’s grip— And for appearances his, they allowed themselves to stumble. The purple-haired boy looked like a spoiled brat, who was just told ‘no’ for the first time. The older one, Reiji his name was, held a repulsed gaze— his nose twitching up in disgust. Steadying themselves, they checked the injury in their wrist. Definitely dislocation, the damned savage. And, before the three of them could go their seperate ways, the two vampires could hear a muttered phrase from the human. Now, as their back was facing the other two— a revolted expression plastered itself on Gwen’s face. Living an honest human life sure was hard, in a school setting.

❝ You’ll lose those repulsive hands of yours next time. ❞

The interaction wasn’t completely horrible though. After all they had walked down that hall for a reason, and had accomplished what they had come here to do. Their facial features slowly fell into something more akin to indifference, as a Kanato shaped chess piece was tossed up and down languidly in their hand. 」

Thank you for this ask. It was rather a difficult one. Nunnally has only interacted once with small Kauze, and she would probably know nothing or almost nothing about the grown-up Founder. But I wanted the ask to be Nunnally's associations (and not my general impression), so here we go:

And finally, which is, indeed, astonishing, Kauze give some oddly positive vibes. If I knew nothing about him, just looking at him, or meeting him in the street would encourage me to talk with him. Only a few weeks had passed since Yui Kamori’s arrival, and she truthfully wanted nothing more than to return home. Where she didn’t have to sleep with one eye open. Her skin ached, practically screaming for salvation after undergoing endless amounts of “punishments'' for even the smallest of actions.

But today, no one was here. At least not at the moment, leaving her to relax until her heart’s content. With that said, the young human teen decided to treat herself to a walk, around the manor of course. After all, she had yet to see even half of the wonders (horrors) that were the Sakamaki household and she was more than just curious. 

Door after door: open, close; open, close. It was a never-ending cycle of boredom and disappointment. She had almost given up, concluding that there was truly nothing extraordinary happening behind closed doors. But that was before she saw it. Yui stumbled upon an unfamiliar door with a unique gold plaque just inches above it, serving as its most noticeable dissimilarity from the others.

The door was nothing special. It was wooden with gleaming gold imprinting smoothed between every crevice. But it stood out nonetheless. Yui slowly dragged her eyes along its surface, taking in its somewhat feminine appearance. Above it rested a large golden panel, inhabited by intricate calligraphy neatly engraved into its exterior; reading “Our treasure: [Name]”

Yui reached out, allowing her fingertips to subtly graze the cool doorknob, mere moments away from twisting it open… 

“You know, it's really impolite to go snooping around someone else’s home, little bitch~!” The sound of Laito’s voice nearly made her jump out of her skin. His tone was light but lacked the playfulness it tried so desperately to convey. “Allow me to escort you back to your room, fufu~.” 

Reluctantly, she followed, allowing the vampire to steer her further and further from the mysterious door; then down the hall, and back to her room. Her newfound curiosity outweighed her feeling of fear, despite Laito’s troublesome grip on her arm.

And she couldn’t help but wonder…

Just what was behind that door? Who is [Name]?

So the next day she tried her luck once more. Swiftly abandoning the security of her room, Yui proceeded down the dimly lit hallway. With the door close in sight, she noticed hushed whispers growing more audible by the second. Lo and behold, it was Kanato. 

His pale cheek pressed flush against the door's wooden frame, sweet yet borderline obsessive affirmations spilling from his thin lips. Yui assumed he was talking to himself, as far-fetched as it seemed. Though she wouldn't put it past Kanato of all people.

That's when she heard it. The faintest voice reached her ears, it was feminine and loving; and very clearly a blessing to Kanato's ears. She was sure he was ready to squeal with joy if not for the very slim amount of dignity he retained. Never had she seen him happier. 

A small smile pulled at the corners of her lips and before she knew it she was staring fondly at the scene. It wasn't every day she saw those sadistic men act so sweet and vulnerable, even if it was a little odd. Her dazed state didn't go unnoticed, unfortunately, as lilac hues met her soft rosy ones. 

“You—?!” The vampire practically screeched, trudging down the hallway towards the human girl. “Just how much did you hear?”

Let's just say she was left with more than just a few bruises, poor girl. 

The next day Yui ventured down that same vacant hallway. The old floorboards threatened to groan under her weight as she approached that same door that haunted her dreams.

“Haah…You really are a troublesome woman,” Yui jumped, startled. At her side lies a familiar champagne-haired man, tired and less than amused by her appearance. “This room is off-limits for brides. Even so, I've never met one as nosey as you. Leave while you can.”

The girl was stunned, shaking like a leaf. When did Shu get here? Why was he here? Her suspicions were creeping up on her like an unruly wave threatening to sweep her under any moment. At that moment she had finally realized, It wasn't just a door. 

I think.

But of course, curiosity killed the cat. 

Having grown tired of being caught, tied up, and punished time and time again Yui tried a distant approach; she had no choice. Her fair skin had grown battered and bruised, adorned by more lacerations and pricks than she could count. So as one does, she took her chances and decided to confide in Reiji. 

Entering his room, Yui politely took a seat across from the man at a polished deep oak wood table. Accompanied by freshly brewed tea set evenly between the two. “Reiji,” Yui commenced, though her words came as an airy puff as her nerves threatened to tear through her light bravery. “I…I've been curious about something as of lately. A door in particular,”

His red eyes narrowed significantly, “Go on.”

“All the guys have been acting kind of strange lately every time I get close to it and—”

A firm hand made contact with her chest, successfully knocking the wind right out of her, slamming her into the harsh cushioning that lined the leather sofa. “Enough; That is none of your concern, you are merely a living blood bag,” He sighed, sending her a menacing glare. “Don't allow your curiosity to push you to do unnecessary things. If you disrupt the peace of those I hold dear to be I shall punish you personally, do you understand?”

The mortal nodded and swallowed sharply, briskly maneuvering from the vampires prying gaze. And much to her surprise, he allowed it. Yui rushed to the door before slipping through its slight opening, down the hall, and then back to her room once more.

Someone Reiji cared for was behind that door, and from the looks of it, there was no way it was one of his brothers. So who? 

No matter, at that point, Yui had given up. She was scared shitless, not wanting to undergo any more torture than she already was. She had a sneaking suspicion that the brothers were slowly losing their patience with her and she didn't want to be there to experience the consequences. 

So the next few days were carried out like any other. Today she was spending her time with a certain redhead, mindlessly listening to his narcissistic rambles.  As they turned down a familiar hallway, she glanced to the man at her side. Ayato walked past the door without a care in the world and made her start to second guess herself.

Perhaps her gaze lingered on the door for a second too long, for a certain redhead had noticed her delayed footsteps. “Oi, pancake what the hell are yo-?” He paused, his face growing visibly sour as he followed her eyes. “...Looking at.”

He scoffed, gripping tightly onto her frail wrist. From the looks of it, he was not pleased. 

“The last thing I need is for more competition, those five assholes are more than enough.” 

His hushed grumbles were like sirens to Yui's ears, igniting the dying flame of determination in her chest. That was all she needed to hear as nothing from that point on could prove her suspicions false. There was definitely someone behind that door. 

However, it seemed her luck had already run out. 

Until one fateful day at least. 

A sliver in the door, so small it was almost unnoticeable. Feeling some sense of urgency the girl jumped to her feet, making a straight beeline to the wooden door before slamming it behind her. The subtle sound of someone clearing their throat dragged her from her internal celebration. 

The woman looked to be no older than sixteen, but she knew better than to believe she was any younger. Her silky hair was tied neatly out of her face, with very little makeup brushing her features. An extravagant rococo-styled dress fell to her ankles as she busied herself with a thick novel. Only when she met her eyes did Yui notice the resemblance the woman shared with the brothers. 

“A mortal girl,” The woman said, almost matter-of-factly. “You must be the sacrificial bride, correct? Yui Kamori, I presume.”

She nodded, so slowly that she seemed unsure, causing a jovial laugh to slip through the beautiful woman's painted lips. 

“I see…you’re not much of a talker, are you?” The woman smiled politely before closing the book that rested in her hands, lazily tracing small circles into its cover. “No matter. Answer me this, how did you get in here? Subaru must've forgotten to close it, he's in here quite often, after all, he's such a big baby.”

“Wha…What?”

“That door is never open so I think you know what I’m hinting at.” The physically younger woman leaned toward the mortal girl, gently tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “As for Subaru, I'm a little bit older than him so he tends to cling to me like his life depends on it!”

Yui gave her a look of blatant confusion, hardly catching onto whatever the young vampire was spewing out. “Hm, you look a bit confused and clueless, let me help you.” The woman smiled, whispering her rude comment dismissively “Do you even know why I’m in here?”

Yui shook her head, ignoring the anxiety gnawing away at her composure. Gradually shying away from the woman's attention as she hugged her sides. 

“Oh my, then this should be a real treat.” She giggled, gazing fondly at the frightened girl. “Now, Yui Kamori, allow me, [Name] Sakamaki to tell you a tale of endless obsession!”

Reiji's serenity was abruptly shattered by a shrill voice calling out to him, yanking him back to reality. Slowly opening his eyes, he was met with the sight of his 6-year-old daughter standing before him, clutching a tray with a lopsided smile on her face. The tray itself held a rather unappetizing selection of food, the burnt omelette and poorly sliced tomatoes and salad attesting to the child's earnest but clumsy attempts at culinary prowess. A fleeting thought of annoyance flickered in his mind, but he quickly suppressed it, reminding himself of the importance of nurturing his daughter's attempts, no matter how imperfect.

"Papa, I made breakfast for you!" Her innocent eyes shone with excitement and anticipation, clearly proud of her creation. Reiji's voice softened as he gazed at his daughter, his sense of responsibility and affection intertwining within him.

Despite his initial reservations about what lay before him, Reiji managed to compose himself, shifting his gaze from the tray to meet his daughter's sparkling eyes. A small, genuinely warm smile graced his lips—a rare sight for those who knew him.

"My dear, it appears you've taken great care in preparing this... concoction," he said, his voice laced with a mixture of amusement and tenderness. Carefully reaching out, he took the tray from his daughter's tiny hands, placing it on the nearby table.

"You remind me so much of your mother with your determination and kind spirit. However, there are certain standards when it comes to culinary delights. A true gentleman knows the importance of proper preparation and presentation."

Reiji gently patted his daughter's head, his voice carrying a soothing tone as he continued, "You see, my precious one, cooking is an art. It requires discipline, precision, and an impeccable attention to detail. Let me show you how it's done."

With practiced grace, he stood up, his tall figure looming over the little girl. He motioned for her to join him in the kitchen, leading her by the hand as he traversed the hallways of the mansion. As they entered the grand kitchen, adorned with sleek stainless steel appliances and pristine marble countertops, the young girl's eyes widened in awe.

"Now, my dear, watch closely. This is how one truly prepares a meal," 

He declared, his voice carrying authority, yet tinged with a gentle warmth. With meticulous precision, he demonstrated the correct way to slice tomatoes and lettuce, guiding his daughter's hands as they worked together to create a visually pleasing salad. As the aromas of sautéing vegetables and eggs filled the air, Reiji delicately cooked an omelette, ensuring that it was cooked to perfection—lightly golden on the outside, fluffy and moist on the inside.

After a short while, the duo had successfully transformed the makeshift meal into a feast fit for royalty. The vegetables were vibrant, the omelette delicate, and the tea brewed to perfection. Reiji presented the new creation to his daughter, a masterpiece of culinary finesse.

"Now, shall we enjoy this feast together, my dear daughter?" 

His eyes softened as he watched his daughter's face light up with a mix of awe and gratitude. He had not only imparted his knowledge but also shared a bonding moment with his little one, a memory they would cherish for years to come.

Honestly this new illustration gave me more inspiration for my diabolik lovers series. Because in my series Yui met diaboys in childhood and they became good friends until the day that Karlheinz will separate them and clear their memories from each other.

Now this is my new headcanons to write my diabolik lovers series with young diaboys and Yui.

Shu is the first person who meets Yui and asks her to play with him.

Shu takes Yui to his room and they have fun.

Reiji sneaks a look at them from behind the door and Yui sees him and smiles and asks him to join them.

Reiji shyly joins them and they have a good time together.

Shu gives Yui a heart necklace and asks her to keep it forever. (Yui will keep it even as an adult, although she doesn't remember who gave it to her)

Ayato plays with Yui in the mansion and Yui falls and injures her knee and Ayato caresses Yui's knee and kisses her cheek.

Kanato is very shy and Yui joins his tea party and Kanato sings for her.

Laito helps Yui find a suitable outfit for the party and combs her hair.

Subaru gives Yui a white rose.

Yui meets the Mukami brothers and the Tsukinami brothers at a party.

Ruki and Carla kneel before Yui and ask her for a dance.

Kou likes Yui's hair and keeps smelling her hair and kissing her.

Shu is Yuma's old friend and introduces Yui to him and they become friends.

Azusa is very shy and stays away from the guests the whole time until Yui joins him. She takes his hand and they go out of the ballroom and go to the balcony and watch the moon.

Shin joins them and the three of them continue watching the moon together.

Yui falls asleep with her head on Azusa's shoulder, and Ruki, as Azusa's older brother, follows him and sees Yui sleeping.

Ruki throws his coat over Yui to protect her from the cold.

Yuma comes to the balcony and hugs Yui and takes her to her room.

Carla visits Yui for the last time and kisses her forehead.

Shin does his older brother's move and kisses Yui's forehead and says goodbye to her while she is sleeping.

All Sakamaki and Mukami brothers do this in order and kiss Yui's forehead and leave her room.

These children were the best friends until...

(Please note that this headcanon is in their childhood and they had different and kinder personalities in their childhood.)
