if you ever feel up to it, i'd love to hear how you got the mew. hearing stories about people and their pokemon is really fun.
SOMEONE TOOK THE BAIT LET'S GOOO i wanted to talk about thisSDFFDKS
anyway i got my hadou mew through basically a miracle encounter - back in 2020 i was buying a lot of older pokemon games to fill holes in my collection, either games i never owned or games that i lost over the years from childhood, and as for my missing gen 3 games, i ended up going for japanese copies of firered and sapphire instead of english because having foreign carts is neat but mostly they're just a lot cheaper. buying secondhand pokemon games is always fun because often times the seller doesn't wipe or even check the save file and especially if the save file has a lot of playtime, they're like time capsules from a stranger right. so both games come in and the sapphire has nothing interesting but i'm perusing the boxes of this firered and uhhh
Tumblr media
LMAO my initial reaction says it all, i literally just found this thing on a completely random firered cart i bought! it was not advertised to have mew in it on the ebay listing, in fact the seller i bought from sells a LOT of imported japanese pokemon games (and other gba titles) so i imagine he just has a pile of these and he picked out a random one to mail me without so much as checking what was on it.
of course mythical pokemon on gen 3 carts are dubious, it's not like it's particularly hard to gameshark a mythical pokemon, especially considering that i've gotten a secondhand file before with shit like a box full of Deoxys caught at level 2 on the first route in hoenn LOL... so i was pretty serious about checking for legality on this thing as best i could - backed up the save file and inspected it in pkhex, all data was 100% accurate to the event and also reasonable RNG wise, like normal random IVs and stuff... checked for archived versions of this event mew, none of them were identical to online injectable ones, which means the owner couldn't have downloaded and injected it... and most of all, context clues
Tumblr media Tumblr media
here's ancient pictures of this mew traded to my english leafgreen so it's readable for everyone - i had not done anything with this mew yet so it's completely untouched from how i found it here. we can tell from looking at this that whoever owned this mew was training it with the exp share as its still holding it and is level 23 despite being met at level 10, and the moveset... solarbeam, mega punch, dragon claw?? very random moveset that i can only imagine a child using. this mew looks like it was played with by its owner legitimately. additionally not shown here, the firered cart had a lot of playtime and like 2/3 of the dex complete, the boxes were full of pokemon that the owner had been breeding and a few unhatched eggs, like i hatched one and it was a completely normal eevee so they may have been getting extra eevees for pokedex purposes etc.
basically i cannot 100% confirm this mew was obtained legitimately without teleporting back in time and getting that japanese movie preorder bonus myself, but there is literally nothing strange about this mew and the save file it comes from is well loved and appeared to be played by a child doing normal pokemon stuff. so for all intents and purposes, this mew is definitely legit to me. actually insane happenstance. i have never gotten anything this crazy from a secondhand file before
think of it this way. some japanese kid in 2005 preorders a pokemon movie > he goes to the store to redeem it for a mew in person. in 2005. in japan. > he plays with the mew a bit > at some point he stops playing pokemon > he sells the game to some random american seller after never wiping the save or removing the mew > the american seller buys jp pokemon games in bulk to resell on ebay so he has a ton of them and probably doesn't check them for what's on them or the old save files > when i order it from this random ebay listing, the american seller picks a random fire red cartridge out of his bulk stash and mails it to me > it ends up in my hands 15 years later after the kid first got this mew
like holy shit it's a small fucking world huh
another old convo from the RM discord because i'm nostalgic about it, i had just started talking here at the time... i'm gonna be honest the ribbon master challenge and the people i met through it genuinely changed my life and this mew came into my life at the perfect time so it means a lot to me on top of being insanely cool
Tumblr media
anyways i went on about that longer than necessary but yeah bless my mew i love him

Meowth has as many forms as Charizard, and is obtainable in around 9 more games than Charizard is. Why don’t you complain about it instead? Or do you just like seeing other people’s opinions and going with them because you’re too scared to form your own?
Hi person who doesn't follow me, charizard isn't going to fuck you. I've talked about for years how I dislike charizard. I've genuinely hated charizard since it got 2 mega evolutions. I've constantly complained how I hate Gen 1 favoritism in new forms. You can't tell me charizard isn't shoved into our faces especially in merchandise. Meowth isn't Leon's main pokemon. Meowth isn't on the box of red or firered version. Meowth doesn't have 2 goddamned mega evolutions. Meowth isn't everywhere in the fucking tcg. Meowth isn't in a playable character in smash brothers. Of course they're going to parade meowth because of team rocket. I'M scared, says the anonymous user
If anything more people like charizard....... What on earth are you talking about. I've been hanging around the tcg space recently and person won't shut the fuck up about charizard and that was my breaking point. If charizard is your favorite pokemon I'm just going to assume you're over 30 and have basic tastes. I hit you with rock slide

How I interpret the core series multiverse
Something I've been thinking over since, around the BDSP/PLA release cycle, is how many timelines exist in the Pokemon multiverse? Well, I think I've come up with about six different timelines, including the timeline Masters takes place in. If you'll all indulge me for a moment or two, I'll lay out the multiverse as I see it:
Classic Timeline:
Yellow
Emerald
Crystal
Platinum
Nothing more complicated here than putting the third versions together, because, let's face it, these WERE the canon versions back in the day! I want to make particular note of Platinum, as I believe Cyrus's actions at the Spear Pillar not only created two entirely different universes, but completely rewrote their histories, given that Dialga's power over time includes future AND past.
Diamond timeline:
FireRed
Ruby
HeartGold
Diamond
Black
Black 2
X
Sun
Sword
Scarlet
So named because this universe is most heavily influenced by Dialga, the Diamond timeline consists of whatever versions the male protags are named after in Adventures. However, Scarlet will be a constant across this and the Pearl timeline, for reasons we'll get into later.
Pearl timeline:
LeafGreen
Sapphire
SoulSilver
Pearl
White
White 2
Y
Moon
Shield
Scarlet
Being the Palkia-influenced universe, you'll find several connections to Palkia's Water-typing, mainly in Kyogre, Lugia, and Lunala. Aside from that, these are mostly the opposite versions to the Diamond timeline. Once again, Scarlet is constant between the two, which of course I'll explain.
Omega timeline:
Let's Go Pikachu
Omega Ruby
Let's Go Johto
Brilliant Diamond
Black remake
Black 2 remake
X remake
Ultra Sun
Sword
Violet
These games are largely alternate universes to the Diamond timeline, some of which haven't even been announced yet, so I guess I have to explain that.
As Mega Evolution was originally stated to be recently discovered in Kalos, that flies in the face of Let's Go Pikachu and Omega Ruby, which prominently feature Mega Evolution prior to the Kalos games, so I grouped them into a timeline together. Speaking of Let's Go, we can safely assume a version of the Johto story occurs three years after that.
Brilliant Diamond is grouped here mostly for its inclusion of the Fairy-type, but I'm willing to bet that when Unova gets remade, Cynthia will reference Dialga in Black, but Palkia in White. And Kalos remakes will most likely retconning the Fairy-type as a long-known commodity.
Ultra Sun is explicitly an alternate Sun, and is the whole reason this and the Alpha timeline are a thing in the first place.
The reason I put Scarlet in both the Diamond and Pearl timelines is because of the possibility that AI Sada travelling to the ancient past causing a butterfly effect that would cause Violet's events to play out instead of Scarlet's.
Alpha timeline:
Let's Go Eevee
Alpha Sapphire
Let's Go Johto
Shining Pearl
White remake
White 2 remake
Y remake
Ultra Moon
Shield
Violet
I won't bore you all by repeating the same logic behind the Omega timeline, just swap out the opposite versions other than Scarlet.
Masters timeline:
FireRed
SoulSilver/Crystal hybrid
Omega Ruby/Emerald hybrid
Platinum
Black
Black 2
X
Ulltra Sun/Ultra Moon
Sword
Scarlet
Masters is somewhat less rigid with its timeline than the ones I've pieced together, but at least there's no need to fret over a Kanto title. Still, I'm going with FireRed just because Red picked Charmander.
I put SoulSilver AND Crystal, not because I believe they're both canon, but because Kris exists, and so I'm assigning her the Suicune sidequest. As for SoulSilver over HeartGold, Ethan seems to have caught Lugia, but not Ho-oh, so I think that settles that.
Similarly, I'm inclined to count Omega Ruby as the canon game because Steven's mindscape features the Groudon mural, and also Brendan as Norman's son has Latios, which would only be the case in Omega Ruby. However, I believe the Masters Hoenn story follows Emerald more closely, as if you look at the team admins' mindscapes, then Tabitha's is the mouth of Mt. Chimney, and Matt's is the remodeled submarine, both roles that Emerald assigned the two teams.
Platinum is explicitly canon to Masters, as Cheryl namedrops the Distortion World, with Cyrus even having both dragons before Dialga abandons him for Lucas.
Hilbert, portrayed as the canon BW1 protagonist, has his base unit's sync move as "The True Razor Shell," and N comes into the game with Zekrom as his base pair, so Black is almost certainly the canon version. Also, Nate recognizes Black Kyurem when Ghetsis tries to make Kyurem absorb Zekrom, so Black 2 almost certainly happened.
There are effectively zero indications of X or Y being the canon version. Lysandre doesn't even count since he wasn't believed to have survived Geosenge Town! That being said, most of Calem and Serena's Pokemon use the Dex entries from X, so until one version or another is confirmed, I'm rolling with X solely on that.
The Ultra games were confirmed since launch, but until Nebby makes an appearance, we won't know for sure whether it's Ultra Sun or Ultra Moon.
Gloria has Zacian, Hop has Zamazenta. Sword is canon, case closed.
Scarlet seems to be canon, based on Nemona wearing the Naranja Academy uniform, but I'd like to see the protags and Arven get added first before making a judgement call. Hoopa shenanigans, and all that.
So out of the natural infinity of multiverse theory, there are at least six timelines in the Pokemon core series multiverse. I mean, technically, there are ten bad timelines where the villains actually win, but those don't make for good worldbuilding (or, multiverse building. Building a multiverse, doesn't get nerdier than that...).

My Updated Pokemon Team
Pokemon has been part of my childhood since late 2010. I love the character designs, the art direction, and the narrative. Before going to Miraculous Ladybug and TOH era, one of my old fixations was Pokemon.
These are my parties I've gone through countless battles in Pokemon main games. The relationship I've build with these Pokemon are still fresh and juicy in my mind. Let's be begin my chronological order!
1.) Pokemon FireRed
First of we have Pokemon FireRed, which was one of my first two Pokemon game alongside Emerald. All I remember is that my starter was Charmander and I really enjoyed using Raichu, Nidoking, and Lapras during the playthrough :D
Tumblr media
2.) Pokemon Emerald
I played the Emerald version when I was 8 years old, though I didn't understand the concept of Pokemon gameplay at first. Blaziken was over leveled for the rest of the playthrough due to its type combination and I beat Norman's Slaking easily with just my Blaziken.
Tumblr media
3.) Pokemon Diamond & Platinum
In Gen 4, I had two version of my Sinnoh team:
My original team in Pokemon Diamond included Staraptor and Lucario. However, my Platinum team needed more spices, so I replaced my Staraptor and Lucario with Togekiss and Weavile respectively to balance out my team composition. Considering Cynthia's battle was goddamn hard :"3
Tumblr media
4.) Pokemon HeartGold
I got my start with my Johto chapter in Pokemon HeartGold version because I never actually played a Gen 2 game. :(
But yeah, Espeon was dope when it came to Poison type coverage.
Tumblr media
5.) Pokemon White and White 2
Near the end of the in-game storyline, I replaced my Archeops with Braviary for being a badass Normal/Flying type birdie. It took me times to get my Rufflet to fully evolved, but once it did. It was definitely worth it as this Pokemon is pretty good.
Tumblr media
I enjoyed Pokemon White 2 over one of the original games because it provided more variations for Pokemon in Unova region and I think my team in B2W2 was much better. Both Lucario and Arcanine were really powerful Pokemon and I had no regrets about capturing them. Apart from Reuniclus, I gotta say it's great.
Tumblr media
6.) Pokemon X
My team for Pokemon X was incredible. Okay, for the starter Pokemon I chose was Froakie and after it fully evolved, it was truly a great member of my team. Early on in the game I caught a Fletchling and when it later evolved into Talonflame, it was one of the strongest early bird Pokemon that I've ever owned. Also, the only Pokemon that went Mega evolving was Lucario and it's OP as always.
Tumblr media
7.) Pokemon Ultra Sun
For my starter Pokemon in Alola region, I chose Rowlet. It was a pretty last-minute decision because up until I chose it, Litten was originally going to be my starter. But hey, I didn't regret because once it was fully evolved into Decidueye this was easily the best member of my team. Another Pokemon that caught my attention is Alolan Vulpix, which turned into Alolan Ninetales due to its beautiful design. In-battle gameplay? Well, it was decent.
Tumblr media
8.) Pokemon Sword
Man, Cinderace turned out to be the strongest out of three starter final evolutions in my opinion, thanks to its diverse moveset. What made me loved Cinderace even further beyond anything was its signature move Pyro Ball. Honestly, this is the coolest move animation I've ever seen in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Toxictricity was surprisingly good tho due to its unique typing.
Tumblr media
9.) Pokemon Scarlet
After final evolutions of Paldea starters were leaked, I can't lie I had actually had a mixed opinion with Meowscarada tbh but Sprigatito was still adorable. Tinkaton was a surprise as it took the hearts of fans worldwide. Its design and gameplay were unique and fun.

what are the things you love and hate about all of the pokemon games you played?
Well now I can say I have played gens six and seven, but I haven't finished them yet so I'm just gonna post down what I like abt em so far hahah
I'm also adding the spin offs bc they're also pkmn games
Anyways under the cut hahah
Red/Blue/Yellow - honestly... I just liked that Pikachu can follow us on Yellow, wish they kept that feature all throughout each games, it only came back on HGSS, SwSh, BDSP, and ScVi. Also the fact I can get all three starters hahah
Starting from gen one
Crystal - Kris supremacy, the highlight of it really, also really dope we can visit another region post game
TCG for the GBC - it's fun, made me understand the card game a bit better back then hahah
Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - HOENN SUPREMACY ough this is home in game form fr, this and BW/BW2, but more on this really hahaha it's cool the contests are cool actually, love the starters, they're the first starter trio where I liked all of them, love the characters, I love my son Wally so much, May/Brendan too, Wallace the true Hoenn Champion in my heart (Emerald bias), the best roster of mons, I could go on really
FireRed/LeafGreen - I mean.. idk. It's an improved version of gen one I'll tell you that but yeah
Platinum - Torterra, Garchomp, Riolu, and the contests (yes I liked the contests here too, the contests here low-key better than in gen 3 ngl)
HeartGold - love the pkmn following feature for real, it's so cute, it's dope, wish they added that in gen five hcnxnx
PMD Red/Blue Rescue Team - Red Rescue Team was my intro to pmd, fucked me up so much I had to use the HP cheat lmfaoooo but it's fun tho hahaha
PMD Explorers of Sky - changed me as a person, really dope, the characters are cool, I just hated Chatot at the start lmfao, but dude this game is so fuckin dope pls cndmdn the way Hero and Partner are so soft and I love how they're still together even post game they mean so much to me your honour🥹
White - my absolute beloved omfsssss everything's so cool okay everything abt it is so cool, love the characters man and the story too, dyou know how cool it was seeing all the Gym Leaders interact and fight Team Plasma, dude that blew my mind back then lmfaooo also c'mon the Tao Trio? You mean the greatest Legendary trio? Hahaha
Black 2 - same w White, it's so cool, everything's so fucking dope, plus PWT
Conquest - I like the art style lmfao
X - Diantha my beloved, also the pokemon petting thing I'm just sad it's a bit lag on my emulator but still I really love this feature hahaha
Ultra Sun - the starters, and the pokemon petting thing again hahah
Omega Ruby - look you already know how much I love Hoenn, plus this has mega evolution and it has the dexnav! Also the pokemon petting thing ofc lmfao also also love how they improved Magma and Aqua really idk I just cnmdnd god ORAS Team Magma and Aqua my beloveds jcdmdn
PMD Gates to Infinity - look I just know that Hydreigon isn't really the big bad guy okay and I'm so happy abt that bc it's usually the Dark/Ghost types that are villains in these games so it's a nice change that Hydreigon isn't a villain
Super Mystery Dungeon - man the scene from the start w Nuzleaf looking at the hero and the hero was giving him puppy eyes killed me okay it lives in my head rent free and I wanna draw smth abt it
Unite - ah yes, the moba game, anyways it's dope if you're winning lmfaooo also it's dope Gengar's there they should buff him actually, I think Hex and Sludge Bomb deserve buffs
TCG online/live - the online one was dope, I still miss my Zamazenta deck to this day
Masters EX - the lore chdmdnd they should add more Diantha lore please I am begging😭
Cafe Remix - it's cute, I love the art style of it hahah
-
Now for my gripes for all these lmfaooo
Red/Blue/Yellow - it's boring as hell. I don't like the fans of this one too, most just couldn't accept that people like the newer gens and they always shit on people if they don't like gen one
Crystal - other than not being able to get Mareep, nothing much, they do have a point w the level scaling tho
TCG for GBC - I mean tbf I understand why it's not mentioned much there's not much to it but it's still fun for killing time
Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald - how back breaking it was finding Feebas I honestly gave up, also what the fuck was that Regis mission man💀
FireRed/LeafGreen - same w RBY
Platinum - it wasn't a fun experience for me, it's slow as shit, and I'm pretty fucking sure majority of the people who like this game only likes Cynthia. Fr, no hate on Cynthia, she's a dope character, but she's like the Charizard of the pkmn characs really, she gets everything and is everywhere, how abt giving a chance to other Champions
HeartGold - a bit slow, but not DPPt slow at least, also again w the level scaling
PMD Red/Blue Rescue Team - this would've been so so dope if it weren't for the fact that after the story, Hero and Partner became nothing but normal recruits. Like all that buildup of Hero wanting to stay for Partner, and suddenly they're just like normal recruits, it sucks
PMD Explorers of Sky - Aegis Cave
White - idk but for me it's hard to level up in this game, also the fact the E4 didn't do much on screen, like I wanna know what they did during Plasma's attack
Black 2 - it's,, well it's how the previous characters interacted really, I wish there was more of it, I wanted to see the Gym Leaders interact w each other during the games, pls I wanted to see Bianca and Iris meeting at Castelia bc I know they met up there again please I just know it
Conquest - I think it's a skill issue on my bit but the gameplay was just so confusing for this one, and no I don't mean the battle gameplay, that I got, more on the,, recruiting bit and using of items and everything else—
X - I can't say it's easy just yet bc I really haven't made much progress so hey, for now I'm gonna say at how fucking long it takes when you get an item like dude why does it take so fucking long💀 also the lack of Diantha scenes, she deserves more, honestly she deserves so much better
Ultra Sun - have not finished this so no solid judgement but for now Imma say it's how tedious it is levelling up your mons and idk if it's a skill issue on my bit but like,,, do they really give off such a small amount of exp?? Idk, granted, my pkmn was a bit over levelled hahah
Omega Ruby - Granite Cave man I can't get Aron early on now ncmxnx
PMD Gates to Infinity - again, haven't progressed much so I don't really have a solid judgement for this
Super Mystery Dungeon - same w GTI
Unite - the abysmal matchmaking, the fact that ftp players don't have a way to get gems even if it's through events or missions, the devs thinking gem locking pkmn was a grand fucking idea, the way they can't balance their mons some are just too squishy and some are still strong despite the nerfs, also have I mentioned the matchmaking? Dude fr standard is either full of bots or I get matched w players who don't even know the objectives even if I'm telling them where to gather chxmxn
TCG online/live - live was honestly so so shit and a lot of players agree like even the cards aren't balanced Jesus Christ also it's lag as shit you can't even do anything most of the time and suddenly you lose also fun fact this game almost broke my fucking phone I almost couldn't exit the game and I had to forcefully reset my phone to save it lmfao
Masters EX - I haven't played this much yet for a solid judgement too but damn is the download time for this is slow as shit and fucking crashed on my tab. Also the lack of Diantha lore, pls they should add more abt Diantha she deserves it
Cafe Remix - idk ig it's the fact I'm broke and can't afford stuff in this game bc almost everything needs real money to get, I really thought this was an offline game at first hahah

Moémon is a project that brings to life cute sprites of Moé Gijinka, human-like characters based on the species found in the Pokémon world, we strive to make the best Moémon sprites with the best designs we can as well as aiming to keep our quality standards high. Moémon Mega Fire Red’s goal is to be an enhaced version of Pokémon Fire Red, but we want to be more than just that and we plan to expand and remake some parts of the region to make the game more interesting, as well as using modern mechanics and giving more content to the player.
Right now we want to make Moémon sprites for all existing generations, hence why we need to be able to make a game that can contain the most we can. Giving that way the player the biggest quantity of options possible. While there is still a lot of sprites to be done, we will get there over time, thanks to our hard working artists.

What is New?
The game’s graphics have been updated to look like HeartGold and SoulSilver. Pretty much everything has been changed so it doesn’t look like FireRed anymore, which is a nice improvement in itself. While there are some graphical glitches, it doesn’t really affect the gameplay.
The Pokemon list is only up to Gen 4, which is around 494. The items, moves and other things have all been updated similarly to Gen 8. Another notable feature is the day-night cycle, which was already present in the Gen 2 games.
The Pokemon locations are also swapped around and appear depending on the time of day. The game has enough content to keep you busy. Also Try Pokemon xenoverse.

Pokémon
Saying that Pokémon is a franchise very near and dear to my heart is a bit of an understatement. Pokémon Emerald was one of the first games I played, and the anime was probably my first anime. I'm pretty sure I've watched every Indigo League, Hoenn and XY(Z) episode, and I've played at least one of every single mainline Pokémon game. So I made a tier list because I can't think of a topic and I'm currently playing Scarlet and Violet so :P.
Tumblr media
Get ready for some hot takes. Also, I know you won't find this interesting at all, but at this point I'm writing these more for myself so sorry :/.
S Tier
Pokemon Emerald was among my first Pokémon games along with Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed and LeafGreen, so I look at them with extremely rose tinted lenses, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people grew up with them too so I don't think that's a very hot take. (Yes, I know it came out 2 years before I was born, but I never had a console, much less a Nintendo one, so I played the Gen 3 games in a browser. And plus, I think the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are regarded as some of the best games?[citation needed].) Even so, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald are still really awesome games. With Gen 1 and 2 games being very linked, with even the ability to travel to Kanto in the Johto games, RSE was sort of a soft reboot, introducing 135 new Pokémon, and very little repeats from older generations. It was also the game to introduce abilities, inherent traits to Pokémon that assist in battles or in other ways outside of battle, and separating the Special Attack and Special Defense stats completely, which had the unfortunate side effect of making transferring from Gen 1 and 2 games to Gen 3 games impossible, so they created FireRed and LeafGreen, the first generation games, remade for the GameBoy Advance, and Emerald, to introduce the rest of the Pokémon yet to be obtainable from the previous games. Emerald was basically an enhanced version of Ruby and Sapphire. A slightly different story involving both Team Aqua and Team Magma (basically, every Pokémon has an evil team, with different goals. In RSE, Team Aqua and Magma want to submerge the earth and create more land respectively), animated sprites, and the third of the Weather Trio, Rayquaza, gets a role in the main story. And the best thing from the Gen 3 games, the Pokémon.
The Gen 3 games gave us:
The cutest Pokémon ever
Tumblr media
Some of the coolest grass types
Tumblr media
KFC.
Tumblr media
A pretty cute and interesting line. (Art by RoastedStix on DeviantArt. Although, I'd advise against searching up Gardevoir art. Some terrible people exist on the internet.)
Tumblr media
Computer.
Tumblr media
Okay, I'll refrain from flooding this post with images from just this game. But you get the point.
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are the Gen 3 games remade for the 3DS, with 3D Pokémon and features added in from Gen 4-6, including, Mega Evolutions, basically beefed up cool looking fully-evolved Pokémon, like the 4th in the Sceptile line.
A Tier
Heart Gold and Soul Silver are remakes of the Gold and Silver Gen 2 games. Decent enough games, but the inclusion of walking Pokémon bumps it up significantly.
Tumblr media
This is what I was trying to achieve when I accidentally released the Grovyle that I cried about. The Pokémon admittedly are kinda forgettable, except for Quilava who is one of my favourites.
Tumblr media
And the level curve is terrible. I somehow didn't even evolve Quilava by the time I beat the Champion, and the Gym Leader levels are weird. Otherwise, pretty fun, along with the new features from Gen 3 and 4.
I haven't finished Legends Arceus yet because of my ancient laptop and inability to afford a Switch, but from what I played and heard and watched, looks pretty fun.
I put Black and White and its sequels in the B tier in the tier list, but I think they're A tier games. Stellar story that stands out a lot from the other pretty much cookie cutter stories, it goes over the morality of Poké Balls and owning Pokémon, and some of my favourite Pokémon. The Pokémon in Gen 5 doesn't seem to be very popular, but I love them.
These two starters are among my favourites, and picking one of them was so hard. I ended up picking Snivy in Black and Oshawott in White 2.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Huh, I just realised, the Oshawott line is one of two starter lines that go from biped to quadruped from all 27. I found a post analyzing the walking habits of every starter to predict what the Gen 9 starters would evolve into.
Ah, poor /u/RazarTuk, all your predictions were wrong.
Tumblr media
A mole that's literally a excavation drill.
Tumblr media
A literal Hydra with a little easter egg for people who know German numbers. Deino, Zweilous and Hydreigon. (Art by SeleneEde on Deviant Art.)
Tumblr media
Electric Zebra.
Tumblr media
Alright uh I don't think I have the time to get into the rest so, I'll sign off with a hot take. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are not awful.

5 Best Pokemon ROM Hacks Fan Games
Tumblr media
💾 ►►► DOWNLOAD FILE 🔥🔥🔥 Start exploring the most played yet best Pokemon ROM hack that will keep you glued to the screen for hours. So gladly take advantage of these best Pokemon ROM Hack and land into completely fascinating adventures of the Poke world. The beauty of the game lies in its amazing narrative arc and intriguing dialogues alongside a good roster of Pokemons. Since it is a hack of FireRed, it adopts a similar plot. The game features Pokemons and flaunts pleasing graphics. Pokemon Gala ROM hack has proven to be the ideal choice for speedrunning sessions for its epic tale and interesting hacks. However, the stats, moves, and so on are modified. Also, the range of spawned Wild Pokemon differentiates this hack from Pokemon Glaze. This is a hybrid of a FireRed hack and Pokemon Crystal remake. It has the same narrative and characteristics as Crystal. New activities, updated sprites, and updated animations are also added You will have a lot of material to discover, ranging from Johto to Kanto. Pokemon Prism is a hack of Pokemon Crystal that shares the same theme. It includes new graphics, over Pokemon from Generation I to Generation IV, an original music track, and a variety of mini-missions to complete. Despite being based on the manga Pokemon Red Adventured , the game is entirely a simulation in which you play as Red and interact with the other characters from the manga. It has new graphics, features, and mechanics. I think this is a must-try and best Pokemon Hack. This is a revamped version of FireRed that features the same stories plus different places, sites, and other features. Furthermore, in Pokemon Unbound, you can complete side missions and receive amazing prizes such as Mega Evolution. There are also some Z moves in the latest version. This is both a variation and a hack of Pokemon FireRed. With this game, you should expect a bumpy ride and nerve-wracking challenges. The gameplay is challenging but satisfying. With a whopping new pokemons and some of them having new moves as well, there will be a lot of new things for you to discover. This fixes the monotony of the game and makes it more interesting. The ROM also introduces more items in the game and makes catching Rotom a bit easier. Players can interact and challenge the new gym leaders of the Zhery Region and also catch pokemon from the Sinnoh, Hoenn, Kanto, and Jhoto regions. The characters start experimenting on the Pokemons to make the strongest pokemon. Experimentations cost money and hence the need for funds arises. A Financer comes around to help them but asks them to go a shady quest for him. There is a lot for fans of the Pokemon franchise. This is just a big Pokemon game that players should try. As the name suggests the ROM takes a dark turn in the world of Pokemon. An earthquake follows and a shadow keeps getting closer to you, when it gets very close and things go dark you wake up again in the same cavern only to realize it was all a dream. Soon you realize your dream is becoming the reality and things start getting spookier. Stay tuned with GamesAdda for more recommendations and suggestions. Pokemon Gaming. Pokémon Region Look Back: Kanto
Tumblr media
I got Pokémon on the brain, so I thought it would be something fun to do. These posts will just be me sharing my thoughts on the region: the pokémon themselves, the story, really anything at all, hope you enjoy!
The obvious place to start would be at the beginning: Kanto. Home of the original 151 and the region where a lot of trainers began their pokémon journey. While I didn’t begin here, I did eventually go back and venture though the region in Blue and FireRed. Overall, I enjoyed my experience with the games set here.
The original 151 are definitely classics. Simpler designs for a simpler time for sure, but simple does not mean bad in anyway shape or form. I for one consider the designs to be timeless. I also enjoy the many regional variants, megas and G-Max forms that have been introduced (yes, even the Charizards, though GF could calm down on them).
The one downside to the Kanto games is the fact that there isn’t much to say on the story. Collect badges, stop mobsters who just HAPPEN to be in your way, defeat your bratty rival <s>Buttface</s> Blue/Gary (or Trace if you are playing LGPE) and of course, catch em all. Nothing too complex, but that’s mostly due to the limitations of the era.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind going back to Kanto IF we got a more updated version of the region. We’ve only seen Kanto in two forms: the original (in RBY, FRLG, LGPE) and after a 2-3 year time skip (GSC and HGSS). Two forms between seven releases is why probably why most people are tired of seeing Kanto. I’d love to see the region in a new light whether it’s in the form of a Legends-style game or just a modern, open-world version
I think I’ll end this one here. I don’t know how often I will do these, but I hope you enjoyed the read!

Pokemon Yellow Remake 3ds
Tumblr media
Pokemon Lightning Yellow. Is a fan-made remake of the original Pokemon Yellow version. Welcome to the world of Pokemon! Return to the all-familiar region of Kanto! Experience your renewed story and take on the role of champion in the Kanto region. Relive the strengthened bond between people and Pokemon through the advancement of Mega Evolution. They remade Red and Blue for GBA, and Yellow was a remake of R&B, so, you could just get LeafGreen or FireRed. And as for it coming out for 3DS, it's highly unlikely. IN all of the Pokemon remakes.
Nintendo 3ds Pokemon Yellow

Like all other Pokemon games, Yellow offers a few one-shot opportunities to catch Pokemon that the player can see in the overworld. With the exception of one of these Pokemon, it is the expectation that the player catches them the first time he or she encounters them - running away or defeating them will cause them to disappear forever, should the player forget to save before the battle.

#144 Articuno
Location: Seafoam Islands
Method: The stunning Ice/Flying Pokemon and first of the legendary bird trio, Articuno appears at the bottom of Seafoam Islands after a rigorous rock-moving puzzle involving Strength and Surf. Like Snorlax and the other legendaries the ball will sometimes miss if it is of inferior quality so always use Ultra Balls if you can help it. Both its Defence and Special are high so feel free to use stronger moves like Rock Slide or Flamethrower to weaken it if your Pokemon is under level 50.

#145 Zapdos
Location: Power Plant
Method: The shockingly powerful Electric/Flying legendary bird Zapdos appears at the end of the Power Plant in the room with the exit. Repels are recommended for the trek to Zapdos since the plant is quite a maze. No HMs other than Surf to reach the plant are needed. Moves like Ice Beam work well against it and Pokemon like Golem or Rhydon can hit it without being hurt by its Flying and Electric moveset.

ThundershockDrill Peck
#146 Moltres
Location: Victory Road
Method: Appearing in the middle of the Victory Road, the third and final legendary bird Moltres requires no more than Strength to access it. Like Zapdos, it is recommended you use Pokemon like Rhydon to avoid taking too much damage from its Fire and Flying movepool.

#150 Mewtwo
Location: Cerulean Cave
Method: The master of the Unknown Dungeon at Cerulean City, Mewtwo requires both Surf and Strength to get to. Like the other overworld Pokemon, balls may miss when trying to catch this Pokemon. Get its HP down carefully and avoid burning, confusing, or poisoning it so you don't knock it out accidentally. Sleep and paralysis work well. As Psychic was a broken type in the first generation, no moves will be super-effective against it with the exception of Pin Missle and Twineedle (both found on Beedrill, a weak Pokemon, and Jolteon, who has terrible Attack). If you've saved your Master Ball from Saffron City, now is the best time to use it. There is no better Pokemon to catch in the game than Mewtwo. Pokemon Mansion alludes to a few facts about Mewtwo; these include its origin, how powerful it is, and its connection to the super rare Mew, who can only be found via Nintendo event or glitch.

25 lat minęło jak jeden dzień...
Tumblr media
Pocket Monsters Red i Pocket Monsters Green
27.02.1996, Japonia
Tumblr media
Pocket Monsters Blue
Tumblr media
10.10.1996, Japonia
Pierwsze gry nie były jednak idealne. Produkcje zawierały błędy i glicze psujące zapisy i mechaniki.
Pokemon Red i Pokemon Blue
28.09.1998, USA 05.10.1999, Europa
Tumblr media
Zagraniczne odpowiedniki tak naprawdę były przetłumaczoną wersją Blue, jednak zachowano ideę bliźniaczych wersji i też wydano dwie gry - Pokemon Red i Pokemon Blue.
Pokemon Gold i Pokemon Silver
21.11.1999, Japonia 15.10.2000, USA 06.04.2001, Europa
Tumblr media
Z wielu conceptów do gry weszło 100 nowych pokemonów i nowy region Jotho, sąsiadujący z Kanto.
Pokemon Crystal
14.12.2000, Japonia 29.07.2001, USA 02.11.2001, Europa
Tumblr media
26.01.2018 - Pokemon Crystal
Pokemon Ruby i Pokemon Sapphire
21.11.2002, Japonia 19.03.2003, USA 25.07.2003, Europa
Tumblr media
Pokemon FireRed i Pokemon LeafGreen
29.01.2004, Japonia 09.09.2004, USA 01.10.2004, Europa
Tumblr media
Wraz z postępem technologicznym i nowymi konsolami Game Freak coraz bardziej rozbudowywał i ulepszał swoje gry.
Pokemon Diamond i Pokemon Pearl
28.09.2006, Japonia 22.04.2007, USA 27.07.2007, Europa
Tumblr media
Pokemon Diamond i Pokemon Pearl łączyło w sobie grafikę dwuwymiarową i trójwymiarową.
Pokemon HeartGold i Pokemon SoulSilver
12.09.2009, Japonia 14.03.2010, USA 26.03.2010, Europa
Tumblr media
Pokemon HeartGold i Pokemon SoulSilver były ostatnimi grami czwartej generacji. ~ Glossy
Pokemon Black i Pokemon White
18.09.2010, Japonia
06.03.2011, USA
04.03.2011, Europa
Tumblr media
Pokemon Black 2 i White 2
23.06.2012, Japonia
07.10.2012, USA
12.10.2012, Europa
Tumblr media
Pokemon X i Y
12.10.2013, we wszystkich krajach
Tumblr media
Pokemon Omega Ruby i Alpha Sapphire
28.11.2014, Europa
21.11.2014, inne państwa
Tumblr media
Pokemon GO
22.07.2016, Japonia
06.07.2016, USA
13.07.2016, Europa
Tumblr media
Pokemon Sun i Moon
23.11.2016, Europa
18.11.2016, inne państwa
Tumblr media
Alola!
W grze możemy spotkać 81 nowych Pokemonów i 18 Alolańskich Form.
Pokemon Ultra Sun i Ultra Moon
17.11.2017, we wszystkich krajach
Tumblr media
Pokemon Ultra Sun i Ultra Moon to kolejne gry w regionie Alola. Rozwijają one temat Ultra Bestii i dodają 5 nowych Pokemonów (4 UB oraz jednego Pokemona Mitycznego). Gry te dają nam nowe możliwości i w głównej mierze poprawia niedoskonałości Sun i Moon.
Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu i Pokemon Let's Go Eevee
16.11.2018, we wszystkich krajach
Tumblr media
Pokemon Sword i Pokemon Shield
15.11.2019, we wszystkich krajach
Tumblr media
Ostatnie gry jakie omówię, to Pokemon Sword i Pokemon Shield.
Świętujemy to 25-cio lecie i życzmy marce Pokemon przynajmniej 4 razy tyle.
