Minecraft | Hairam | 10 | Looking NetherRIGHT And Building Cranes
Solo Survival Minecraft world episode 10 posted up today. I finally went and dug netherite and built a crane to decorate around the iron farm.
If you want to keep up with the progress of the world feel free to subscribe. I try to get a Minecraft video out every Monday, but bigger builds can take some time to prepare for so that schedule can get thrown off sometimes.

previous First!
"I'd like to put my minecraft bed next to yours. And, uh, build an iron farm"
"...Can we go to the end?"
"Yes"
"And install mods?"
"Yes"
"I like you too"
"Success! this romance thing is easy!"
They walk upstairs.
There is a corridor with some frames, various doors,
And a clock.
"You guys were taking forever! I was seconds from becoming homophobic"
"Look! I got the thing!"
They input the code and find
"That's an inconvenient place for a lever"
"Is it even connected to anything?"
"Only one way to find out!"
They lower the lever
...
Nothing happens
"This place does nothing but dissapoint me."
"What now?. Do we raid the kitchens or something?"
"Yeah!"
"Excuse me. My investigation is still-"
*Click*
The power turned off.
"Ah. It was for the electrical power"
"I'm gonna feel the walls for the lever"
"Just use your phone's flashlight?"
"I left it downstairs, but can you two do it?"
"Yeah, alright"
"I'll say it again: This house only serves to dissapoint me."

Been taking my mind off spending three days fixing, rebuilding, and then scrapping and building a totally different iron farm by doing some little jobs like finishing more of the Vex shrine. Haven’t decided on the walls or ceiling in the main room yet. I think I will need more quartz though. Maybe I will put a cursed dark oak tree there maybe.
Been reorganising my storage room too. This used to be my bulk storage but I’ve moved that to the iron farm build where there’s more room. I go to my wood chests so often I wanted to move them here where they’re more accessible. Also lol I had to go get acacia bc it was the only wood I didn’t have but there’s a savannah near the cherry grove village so it didn’t take too long.
I also made a cute lil potion room. The black cat is called Sabrina and the brown one is Shelby. Also in the process of setting this up I found a shitton of fire res I got off piglin bartering ages ago that I forgot I had so I may plan that trip to a fortress to get blaze rods sooner now that I have those at my disposal.
On the plus side I do have a working iron farm now. But the build around it is horrendous rn lol. The spawn-proofing is making it v tricky to design well but we’ll get there.

I love making farms in minecraft. I love following the exact steps needed to build it, having it work for exactly 2.348174 minutes, and then it breaks due to the quantum superposition of the 3rd piston

You ever wonder what the villagers are thinking when the player renovates their village?
Like sure they stole your stuff and demolished your house but they also built a better one for free, large walls to protect from mobs, farms full of diverse crops, and more.

bedrock villager mechanics fucking suuuuuuuck
I have a trading hall/iron farm full of librarians sitting immobile in 1x2 nooks and shuffled them around without realizing that it would mess up the link to their lecterns. instead of linking to the closest lectern like I assumed, the librarians would only link to the work stations in a very specific order no matter where the lectern was. so I could put a lectern across the room next to a villager I wanted to link it to but a villager on another level would link to it instead because they were always the next one "in the order" no matter where I put the goddamn lectern. I have no idea what determines the order that villagers of the same job will link to work stations and frankly I'm so fucking frustrated by villager mechanics that I don't want to learn a single thing more about them. my solution was to put down a lectern, see which fuckhead emitted green sparkles and linked to it, and then move the lectern to the block immediately in front of them so that they'd be able to work on it, and repeat this where's waldo-esque torture for around 30 librarians spread across two floors. the iron golems FINALLY started flowing again once I got all the bastards properly linked and they were able to touch the workstations they linked to. THANKFULLY the trading hall is full, I have all the trades I'll ever need, and I have no reason to ever move the villagers or work stations ever again.
