Will I ever expect Nintendo writing a Ganondorf who's trying to break the curse and end the cycle? No. I simply think their faithful adherence to the nature of fairytales about the knight rising up to face evil and save the princess is simply that strong. It's a classic (in the most literal sense cite Perseus and Andromeda). It's why I don't believe in a playable Zelda until I see it with my own eyes.

While the earnest nature of providing interesting spins on this millennia old formula is rather endearing, I would welcome earnest breaks in turn as well. Yet until I see it, I simply won't be holding my breath for when it comes.

#no slight to anyone wanting either thing in totk but 35 years of narrative precedence is pretty strong #that being said if you ask me my ''dream Zelda game'' much of the plot involves something regarding either one #i think a zelda game where the king of hyrule is zelda's elder brother. a game where link and zelda have long since been married #and the main villain isnt ganon but say an invader of another kind. #but ganondorf is present. a young traveling mercenary informed of his fate to become the king of evil and trying for a cure from that fate #zelda is not taken but an active participant; frequently joining link traveling around hyrule or breaking off to buy more equipment #and do some scouting of her own #it has botws exploration but maybe some linearized pieces of development like a dungeon thats a fortress wall blocking off parts of the map #random encounters against Ganondorf who's time is running out and desperately trying to find zelda #until the two of you are travelling and he ambushes you. #you can lose and must rescue her from his lair. you can fend him off. or you can defeat him and track him down #the first has minimal changes to the ending of the game. the second has a surprise ganon fight. and the third reveals a quest #one where he explains his plight and help break his curse #and in the end the three of you face the villain side by side #i think that would be a cool game #zelda #legend of zelda #tears of the kingdom #totk #loz

#I HATE SCALES SO MUCH #tell me why i did a drawing of a greenhouse on autocad. and i put 2:1 as the scale????? #idek what scale it should be in!!!! and i cant redo the drawing again bc the plot outline was a pain in the ass to do #and i dont even remember how i did it!!!! so now im stuck looking at the teachers presentation that says that the most usual maps #are in 1:5 1:10 1:2.5 etc for 'industrial' drawings #so how the hell do i even know what the scale im supposed to put is?🤨 #the drawing isnt that serious either like im not gonna be turning in the dwg so idc abt accuracy i just wanna lie through this #and change the scale. but i want the scale to be minimally accurate!!!!! #and idk how to do that. #z xarre

#Doodles #The game concept I referenced a bit back! #Technically this would fall under #Dream log #In the dream it had a much cleaner aesthetic which is actually a bit ironic haha considering the POV had just made it on the spot #It should've looked much more like mine! I also made mine quite quickly to make sure it got out of my head and into physicality :) #They must've had quite the production team haha ♪ Crisp laminated cards and a 15-slot board! #Thinking about translating it to the real world I went for an L-shape so I wouldn't have to use too much paper #But it would probably be a fold-out map in three sections - I'm still into the idea of making it modular as well :) #Or at least able to change out different boards for different stories and plot beats! Mix things up! #Very much like Madlibs in that way #So far the playtesting has been minimal but if nothing nothing else it was fun to doodle up and consider the characters and locations ♪ #Starter pack! Comes with expansions with more characters and places! Hehe #I really enjoy drawing with decisive lines I just get nervous rather often ahh #But drawing like this is so fun! It's almost like drawing with ink :) No erasing! Careful and carefree! It's very fun #Especially when they turn out so cute <3 Like the Ghost or the Scientist haha ♪ I might've made the latter with smol in mind hehe #She did end up liking them :) #I also tried to keep most of them fairly gender neutral or at least open to interpretation since anyone could pick any card :) #Combining design elements like for the Medic of the mask-uline and feminine head covering hehe ♪ #I think the Ghost is still my favourite tho which is funny 'cause I initially only drew a sheet ghost #The skeleton inside makes them so much cuter! Haha #They're all cute though :D Love when that happens ♪ #I have a few more ideas - more for expansion packs later!

#arknights #goldic's operations #I'm M6ing Chestnut and there's nothing you can do about it #Finally...a crumb of healing for Maleknights... #I haven't E2'd a 4* in a while so I kinda forgot it was super cheap to do so #having a new mech-accord caster is nice too; I'll train up Rockrock when I have moners again cuz I went broke spending it all on Chestnut #by moners I mean the in-game currency of LMD #I've been collecting feline operators anyway because I simply like cats but winning stages with only them (and the Sankta) is satisfying #only problem is FelineSankta has No Vanguards (unless you count Seige like I do) and No Defenders to speak of #I have to wing it with a bunch of ranged units and minimal ground units #which is Pain:tm: on certain maps btw #I also only have Two Healers (Kal'tsit and Folinic) and it isn't the best thing in the world by any means #they both have Priorities:tm: which can lead to my operators dying needless deaths #also my only 3-blocks are E2 Broca and Monster #Broca isn't exactly the bulkiest in the world and Monster can only be healed by Kal'tsit #the reason I play Sankta with the Felines is because 1. Sankta have Drone Killers and 2. there's not many of them to begin with #the only difference from normal Felineknights is me having access to Arene Executor Adnachiel Enforcer and Ambriel I guess #Mostima too on a technicality since she's clearly a Sarkaz/Sankta hybrid #despite all the downsides it's really fun; give it a try if you want a bigger challenge than normal and have the mats for it
