Misha coming out straight was not in my Bingo cards for 2022 but the amount of laughing I did with all the roasting he got, I cannot describe in words! It seriously put me in a good mood for like 3 days sTrAiGht. I mean, well deserved, he used the LGBQ+ to make himself money for years and now the real community clowned him back. Seriously though, in regards to dealing with the fallout, if he had a good publicist to walk him through it, what do you think it would have been the best strategy? I mean, I know its a hypothetical scenario because its hard to predict the reaction of media/ public, but yeah, would love to hear what are your thoughts about that.

If I was Misha's publicist I would get past and present colleagues to talk him up as a swell guy who is always professional and sets the tone for a great work environment and he's a swell guy.  Then at his next appearance have him read the best roasts reactions to his 5-part twitter confession to show that he's a swell guy who  can laugh at himself.  It's already his schidk to make fun of his own acting since he knows he can't compete with Jensen or Jared in that department.  The self deprecating routine will make him look humble and down to earth.

Then double down on being an ally but don't boast about it.  If he had donated to the LGBTIA+ community then have them publicly praise him.  If he hasn't then now is the time to start and build up credit.  It will take years but better now than never.  Show up to fundraising events and pay at least $5000 per plate on top of regular donations.  

Of course the best way to repair a reputation is success.  If Misha can churn out a good portrayal of Harvey Dent/Two Faced and leverage it to bigger and better roles, then the bi-misunderstanding will just be a footnote in fandom history even if "Pulled a Misha Collins" lives on because people care more about results.

I don't know if you are the right blog to ask this but Apparently Jensen is home. Has it been a week before he could have actually met Misha. Kind of too convenient to "miss out" a possible reunion like that since Misha promised Jensen he will visit them but I get it. And Misha visited Phil and Hilary. The couple are closer to him and Vicky so he might have found comfort there. He has been exploring and travelling a lot.

My concern is why not visit Ackles home? And I don't mean in a romantic reunion way but Out of courtesy just for old times sake? Dee adores Misha and she would have easily welcomed him. Since Misha said he would visit Dee and children for Jensen in the zoom panel.

Now let's think for a moment he did visit Ackles. But why not publicly acknowledge it? You're at a old buddies home and possibly fulfilling a promise you made. Why not pull at the Cockles thread when a book and a podcast is happening for him? The man had 3 Gish items in Jensen's name. So if he visited his home in CO why no photos? If not visited Why not visit Ackles?

If JP and JA had a reunion they would have published it all over. But Misha and Jensen don't do that. Prime example is the blankygate. I am so baffled by them. I understand there is possibility Misha didn't want to publish where Ackles are living but that cat is already out of the bag.

You should keep in mind that they only show in SM what they want, which is only the tiny tip of the iceberg of their private lifes. I was also a bit like you, I felt frustrated but then I realized SM really means nothing. Just think about Dee's post: she has only posted a single picture of Jensen and her, hiking in the mountains. Does that mean Jensen only stayed one day at Colorado? Does that mean that was the only thing they did? And there are no pictures of Jensen with his children, does that mean he didn't see them? And we know it because Dee decided to post it with the intention of drawing public attention to that charity organization in Austin. Meanwhile, Jensen hasn't posted anything about his family in SM, even if he has stayed with them for many days or even weeks.

I'm sure Misha visited Danneel, but they just decided not to post it in SM (btw, both Misha and Hilary didn't post anything either, we finally knew it because Misha acknowledged her in the horse riding video. But no pictures of them together). I don't know whether Jensen was already there, personally I think he was still in Toronto for The Boys. But the idea that Misha visited Dee and the kids, even if Jensen wasn't there, it's more than enough for me.

I'm sure a J2 reunion would have been published in SM. It would be a great PR stunt after the confirmation of the J2 fallout.

I'm surprised people are surprised to see Misha on a horse. He grew up way more rural than either Jensen or Jared. Western Massachusetts is way more horsey than Dallas or San Antonio. J2 are city boys who went to Hollywood the first chance they got. Misha's the one doing woodworking, making knives out of old railroad spikes and deep frying shit on his front lawn. I'm surprised he doesn't ride horses more often.

I thought Misha was born in Boston? It's true that Misha probably had to use his hands far more than J2s to survive because his family had financial hardships so he got skilled in those labors, but I think horse riding is more a thing for rich people. How much do you have to pay in order to learn horse riding? Also, Misha looks a bit nervous and insecure riding the horse, poor Mish

the i in Gish stands for international so yes it is possible to play wherever you're from (on Earth.. I don't think non-Earth based folks are involved.. yet.) my team last year was mostly people in canada and australia!

I see... you don't need a "physical" team? I mean, they can be people in other countries and you all cooperate online?

I'm thinking of signing up on Gish but more for the sake of their charitative work, because I'm still not ready to participate in a gish hunt. I would like to do it with people I know in person but the problem is that I don't know any friend or relative who knows about Gish, they don't even know about Misha and Supernatural (I think the show is not very popular in my country tbh, I only learnt about Gish thanks to tumblr), I also live in a small-middle size city so I highly doubt there are enough gishers around.

I had a look at the Gish webpage and I must say I'm amazed at the organization, the effort and the work Misha and his team have done, and all the charitative projects they have achieved. I really wish Gish was far more popular and mainstream all over the world.
