I saw the spoilers ahead of time and have refused to watch any more of the show honestly, unless its a filler episode that's mostly just for fun. The movie was my happily ever after. I still love the show, but I can't stand to watch it anymore past... probably past season 2 now.

I can already tell people will complain a lot about gabe seeming to be redeemed. Uh. I don’t think that will last. It feels like they were trying to hint at that. What a great source of conflict for the next season when the news eventually breaks to adrien. He was literally left out of the final fight entirely. It had to be for a reason, not just to conveniently allow him to see his awful dad as a martyr. Adrien was a lil crazy with it when he said he wanted to be like his dad tho. Hopefully he just meant his supposed sacrifice since Chat loves that so much

Random Thought

I just recently watched the Miraculous Awakening movie and thought, 'is that some type of different dimension, aside to the TV show?'. My brain is actually a literal crash site as I looked through the web, and a new question arose, this time about the TV show: Did Gabriel actually bring Emilie back? Or was that just Amelie at the end of the finale, wearing a cute pink and black swimsuit (I need to admit, Emilie/Amelie does have a great taste in style). When I first saw it, I thought that, hey, Gabriel brought Adrien's mommy back! Ho, ho! But then my thoughts got disturbed as I looked at recent posts, from some great observaters, and Thomas Astruc (Giving us riddles, oce again T.T). And then some flashbacks zoomed through my tiny crippled brain, in a matter of seconds. Let me know if I'm wrong about this, but didn't Marinette/Ladybug, Master Fu, and Sass say, and I quote, "The one greatest wish," or something like that, because Nathalie was cured. And a thought went through my brain making me re-watch the finale. I doubt Amelie would be in Paris for a pool party. Unless she moved to Paris to take custody of Adrien which would make sense in part of Felix being a full time kwami holder, for season 6, if he was to be. Anyways if you guys have a stable opinion and evidence on Emilie/Amelie you can comment if you'd like. Toodles!

GO DAMNIT I NEEDED CHAT NOIR!! PLEASE! It's the god damn FINALE, the boss fight, the final battle and CHAT NOIR JUST MISSES IT TRAPPED IN AN ASYLUM!?!

Don't get me wrong I liked everything and i understand it makes sense for him to not be there with what happened in the finale with Gabriel and everything probably better for him that he wasn't and since he doesn't know so much, it could be a plot or important for the next season but like?!?! It's Miraculous Ladybug and CHAT NOIR.

I hate how he just accepts it and doesn't even think about it. Chat noir was a way for him to be free and now that he has Marinette he doesn't care as much about his other persona. He doesn't mind if he isn't needed, he just accepts it and doesn't think about it because chat noir doesn't plays as big of a role in his life as it used to be.

He doesn't need that escape, he no longer needs chat noir to make him feel normal. He had Marinette and his life is finally normal so when it's so obvious that he isn't needed as his super hero persona - Ladybug literally defeated Hawkmoth on her own after years of them fighting him together- so why should he even bother. Sure he'll be there to help out, be a friend to Ladybug when she needs to talk but he won't feel the need to be a superhero. In his head Chat noir isn't needed by the people or Ladybug and it's fine because Adrien no longer needs Chat noir either.

He wasn't in the fight, there was no "Pound it!" and i wanna cry.

I know it's not THE end but it is one end. It's The End that they've been waiting and preparing for since the beginning.

9 MONTHS! They've worked together for so long to defeat Hawkmoth. Every step of the way, when master fu lost his memories, when they were almost defeated multiple times, when they learned more and more about their powers and miraculouses and how it connects them, when they fought besides each other and then with each other, when chat noir believed he was insignificant to Ladybug, when all the miraculouses were taken, when they put everything behind and worked together to get them back. ALL OF THIS JUST FOR THEM TO NOT BE TOGETHER WHEN MONARCH IS FINALLY DEFEATED.

ALL OF THAT yet when the time came for them to work together when the time came where they were both supposed to defeat monarch and win. Something they were supposed to do together since the first time they got their miraculous.

When they didn't know much but what they did know was that it was supposed to be THEM against THE WORLD, it was them against Hawkmoth, and they had to win together.

It was SUPPOSED TO BE LADYBUG AND CHAT NOIR AGAINST HAWKMOTH!

But instead it was everyone against monarch except him, everyone was there to help except Chat noir.

The worst part is that he would probably hate himself for it. He'd blame himself for not being there. Instead of being upset he would think it's his fault.

To him chat noir isn't significant anymore not to the protection of the city and not to him either. He has Marinette and with the defeat of Monarch and now that he is finally free he doesn't need chat noir so why not just be Adrien. Why not be Adrien and Marinette since chat noir and ladybug aren't needed. Why shouldn't it be Adrien and Marinette together, now he is free and it can be THEM against the world instead.

I am NOT okay. I need to take a break 💔

I actually really liked the concept of Bug Noire vs. Monarch, but I really want Adrien to be part of the final battle so I have an idea. Bear with me please, this idea is completely nuts.

So my idea is a Miraculous + Akuma combo. I don't think the show has done this but it would be so unique. It's Adrien with the Peacock Miraculous while being turned into Chat Blanc. He would be Peafowl Blanc. (Peafowl being a male peacock) It's the perfect combo. Adrien gets to retain looking like and being the cat of destruction while wearing his mother's miraculous while fighting his evil father.

On design level it works too. The white to pair with Bug Noire's black. The blue paired with her red, and purple cat eyes to match Bug Noire's spotted yellow eyes. They are complete color opposites that match which works to emphasize their 'two halves of a whole in creation and destruction'. They match perfectly on a design level for the final fight.

Something about Adrien getting to wear his mother's Miraculous is so profound. It's like connecting to her. Adrien is a sentibeing created by her, and her child now wears her Miraculous to fight against his father, Emilie's husband. The man who has gone too far.

I know the details might be iffy, but Adrien being able to retain his sense of self while being akumatized would be so interesting. Especially as Chat Blanc, the akuma that gave Marinette nightmares. It would be a moment of growth. Last time Chat Blanc was a enemy who was twisted by Hawkmoth, but now hes a force of good, who uses his powers against his master. Last time, Hawkmoth used Adrien's anguish against him but this time that anguish is used for good against Hawkmoth. It's literally perfect.

We might need to spend some time explaining how Adrien gets the Peacock Miraculous and how Adrien will resist Gabriel as a sentibeing. But that's not too hard. Just have Felix give him the Miraculous, and have it somehow where Gabriel no longer has the ring to control Adrien, but Adrien so he cant be controlled when Monarch learns his identity not can he br controlled as an akuma because he has the ring to counter being controlled.

Together Bug Noire and Peafowl Blanc fight against Monarch. It would be the most perfect combination of their teamwork with all the thematic implications sprinkled in.

Just wanna point out that technically speaking Adrien can still confront Gabriel through the use of a kwagatama from Duusu. It won’t be the same obviously but it’s still an option for him to get closure and speak to Gabriel from beyond the grave, albeit he won’t remember anything about S5

miraculous season 5 finale spoilers!!!

not a big fan of the finale tbh.. i mean, the whole fight against monarch was disappointing, ladybug did everything all by herself, what happened to "it's you and me against the world"? chat should've been there at the very least, stop treating him like a background character ffs

also gabriel won?? he made a wish? and he's treated like a hero? while we couldn't even get a good redemption arc for chloe???? wtf

and yea im glad nathalie's alive, emilie's back (unless that was amelie??) and adrien is happy and all but. that's not how it should've been. i wanted to see both ladybug and chat defeat monarch, i wanted adrien to find out about his identity, and i wanted them to kick his ass and send him to jail. but oh well.

plus gabriel made a wish but the only consequence was his death. if he took emelie's place, then why did no one take nathalie's place? how is she still alive? also why did gabriel sacrifice himself for adriens happiness all of a sudden. the only thing he wanted was to be with his wife, and now he's suddenly a hero who actually cares about his son's feelings, after we've seen him abuse adrien constantly, especially during season 5? makes no sense

adrien needs to know!!! we all want him to be happy but it's just not fair. he has to know. about gabriel, about sentimonsters, about everything. what does felix think about all of this? he knew gabriel was monarch, or did the wish erase everyone's memory?? if so, why does marinette still remember everything im so confused

i was kind of expecting lila to take the butterfly miraculous and that's probably the only thing i liked about the finale, i wonder what she's going to use it for, cant wait for season 6 (and the special!!!)

i just have a lot of questions. it was interesting seeing all the reveals (EXCEPT FOR THE ONLY REVEAL WE WANTED TO SEE) but i was expecting more that's all
