Like, imagine, you are the Cavallone boss and you married the love of your life and then she miscarries/is not fertile/is too sick to have a child and she is already crying because she feels like a failure of a woman and she is thinking that maybe it would have been better if she was just let go with all of the dishonor and when you, the boss, refuse to let her go she pleads you to go make an heir with the kitchen maid and she will bear thedishonor with grace.

Lesser men would have already done that before she even spoke, but you are not a lesser man, you are the Cavallone boss.

So it is 39. NOT 36. I DID NOT GET A FUCKING DEGREE IN JAPANESE LANGUAGE, LINGUISTICS AND LITERATURE SO WEEBS COULD JUST CHANGE STUFF AS THEY PLEASED.

It's the same fucking number as Rokudo, who is 69.

So sorry, it's been one of my peeves that I have seen around in the fandom and it annoys me, especially bc since the start (10/12 years ago, when KHR came out) he has always been indicated as 39, so IDK where the 36 came from.

EDIT: unless you consider the SU as like the English number 6, but it still weirds me out.

Closed Species Vent/Rant

[Project Xero] I want to clarify that I don't dislike closed species as much as some people do, I think the concepts can be interesting and if you can get that bag, get that bag. However, I've recently had an experience in the Project Xero community that I feel the need to share. I've been on the path towards getting one of the characters for... over 9 months now? Which doesn't sound like a ton of time, sure, but when you're spending that long saving up resources to be able to /make your own character/, it feels like a lot. I also want to clarify that I hold no ill will towards the mods of this community, or the community itself. Every interaction I've had with mods has been polite and to the point, and most community interactions have been lovely as well. But when you go as far as to take 9 months to get the resources to build your character, and then when you send in an art piece to be looked over for that character, and the mod checking over your char makes criticisms that have more to do with your art style than the design of the character itself... it's disheartening. It makes me feel like the community is for people at a certain skill level, more than anything. I know that's not what they're trying to be about at all, but it definitely feels like more opportunities, or at least faster opportunities, are given to people with a higher level of art skill.

I hate seeing this childish BS that always happens in fandoms whenever a character people adore is magically paired off, and oh no--you can't have your OC / self with (X) character anymore.

Write/ draw/ commission whatever the hell you want to do with Sidon. Just because his fiancée is there, it shouldn't stop your imagination. But my word, stop screaming about how she has no character and depth and it's obvious it's forced and what not.

I can easily argue Sidon has as much character as she does, but y'all love him, because he's a hot fish monster.

Just move on. It's fantasy. =_=;
