My moss wall project so far. A mess of crochet ferns and a pile of pom poms. Also need to harvest the pom poms from my old moss rugs. Which will be a sizeable mound of pom poms when I get that done.

Fell in love with the moss rug originally created by @pidgie-core and felt inspired to start working on a rug of my own. The variety of shades and textures are feeling more lichen-like so far. (also hoping to turn the mushroom patterned fabric into a hand stitched throw pillow)

Using my blog as a diary Instead of shitposting 24/7

A customer and I bonded over our love for yarn hats in fun shapes (goblin/baby yoda for them, and cthulhu for myself). We then talked about how much we liked knitting and crochet, but neither of us having the patience to learn, I told them about Moss Rugs, those cool rugs that are different fabrics that look like mossy forest floors. They looked me dead in the eye and told “I love you!”, I was taken aback for a bit, but just as earnestly said “I love you too!” as they walked away. Work has been eating away at me slowly, but this really cool person I met really just, restored my personal humanity for the day.

Going to be reworking my small moss rugs into one big rug. Right now plucking the pom poms off the old rugs and also making some more pom poms. Already remined that making pom poms isn't the most fun you can have.

Next place where I'll probably be having an exhibition only has wall space, so the rug is going to have to be more like a moss wall this time. Hence the reworking.
