Anyways, the track will most likely come out early in the morning (maybe sometime at 5 AM CST??) on the 22nd (since I have school that day and I'll most likely be too busy playing Side Order later that day). I guess my Side Order EP will be happening after all! Probably calling it "The Ballad of MIzuta and Ida" since the EP will consist of my dedf1sh track and Marina track.
As for music after this, I have a bunch of other tracks in mind. One of them is basically just a normal track just experimenting with some of the vocal instruments on Soundtrap since I have more confidence to use them now and the other is a bit more ambitious because it's a full on album (I'll make a seperate post about that in a bit!) (also I'm not really counting my Hellbent Concept OSTs as an actual album; it's more of a collection of songs I decided to make over the course of a year if anything). Dunno which one I should do first (probably the experimental normal track since it won't take as much time to make as an album).
Also here's the cover for the EP! It's a combo of dedf1sh and Marina's logos!
"Actually, I spent six months of last year putting together 'The Chophouse Band Volume 1'. The Chophouse Band has been together [and] making music since 1992. So it was our first album after 30 years. I spent a lot of time on that. And then, once I got that under my belt, I'm kind of stepping back into the heavy now."
"So the last couple of weeks I've been auditioning guitar players for a heavy project. I'm back on bass and singing with a metal drummer — double bass, you know; getting' loud again. So I've got a couple of irons in the fire. I'm putting two new projects together right now — but loud."

Hello and Good Morning! This is the week I’m celebrating ten years of this blog, which will be Thursday. I’m posting things that makes this blog creatively unique. First off, some music updates, courtesy of Billboard.
YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!

That is it with the music updates…One more post to…
Even though the concept of music is kinda further down the road than what I really should be thinking about right now... I'm still thinking about it, namely if I wanna include any covers of existing songs in the movie. In truth, I normally wouldn't, I'm a composer and I can do all original stuff myself, but I have a few things that are making me reconsider:
There's this one song that, if included in the movie, would be very fitting for the style of music and would also be a bit of a nod to the original games in a funny way (it's not Talking In Your Sleep. I doubt I'll include that one.)
I have been picturing this one song in a chaotic scene that I have always wanted to hear in a scene like that and honestly now's my chance.
I could even include motifs from Security Breach!
I really, really love Rebel Yell by Billy Idol so much so that I needed to start making a cover of it already and like at this point I may as well just include it. Here's the WIP if you're curious.
Like I would be stupid to make this while thinking about The Bunny's Code and then leave it out of The Bunny's Code. This project is technically a giant excuse to go ham on a soundtrack anyway (though I am very passionate about every department don't worry)
Gonna try finishing MISS IDA this weekend. I just need to adjust some of drums and a synth or two's volume and the track should be done and ready to be released on the 22nd. The thing's a whopping 7+ MINUTES LONG, so it's probably my longest track. It sounds hella beautiful and I can't wait for y'all to listen to it. Dunno if it's Newgrounds frontpage worthy, but maybe! We might as well find out!
Writing the lyrics to the songs have been both my favourite past time and the most frustrating process so to honor the skill of writing lyrics I'd decided to try to collect lyrics from different years to make posts about. Collecting these old song text has taught me a few things:
If I can trust my past self, it is eleven years since I wrote my first song ... sort of (I have song lyrics from back in 2012 while I only remember putting the first bit of music to lyrics in may 2014).
I can thank old me for making demos of a lot of the songs I'd made in 2014 so there's a chance - if I ever want to - that I can relearn and perform my 9 year old songs again (will come in handy for next year when I plan to make a decade-medley).
I found an old logic demo I made in my sparetime over two weeks at my half year semester at summer camp and it is actually not that bad. I low-key want to remake it at some point (maybe that could be a fun first project if I decide to purchase Appleton Live). *also if you guys can live with a very shaky production I can share the 2015 version with you at some point*
I decided to relearn Dance, Idiot! and it was fairly simple so my plan is to perform it live next Sunday at open mic for funsies.
i’m on my last 15 minute break listening to a super shitty recording of a song i’m working on, picking it apart, trying to imagine how it’ll sound when i go to record… i’m making a lot of progress with album numero 2 but it’s slow progress at that. i’m very excited to get the ball rolling and play more shows, maybe crowd test some new stuff. it’s weird to listen to my songs in this rough format and be Excited about them. wildwood needed to be made to keep me from dying essentially but i cannot for the life of me listen to those recordings but this… this shit is gonna be awesome and i can’t wait to share it to those of y’all who aren’t lucky enough to be cornered in my tiny apartment bedroom while i say things like “no but can you imagine—”
take care of yourselves, you’ll hear from me soon enough xoxo
Hey everyone!
Yeah I know it’s been a few days. Yes! I am still Re-Mastering and Re-Uploading all my music. I haven’t been able to the last few days due to a few things.
First, I have been working my day job since last Wednesday with no days off so I am finally able to relax for a day and then it’s just a couple days til payday! I am so exhausted but I have someone in my life now that makes me happy a lot which brings me to my second thing.
I am (as of Friday) am dating @nox-lunarwing’s mod (Please don’t be confused, Flare Flare is dating Harvest, but one mod is straight, the other is bi/closeted pan ((me)) so just to clear that up we are just shipping our characters and I am dating Nox’s mod OOC)
Okay okay okay cue cards cue cards cue cards straightens my glasses ah yes the links to my music. Yes Right now I have a few things up and in the coming weeks I will have the rest up. I need time to re-mastered and upload also, make time to re-mastered and upload my music. They are two different things so here are the list of my links to music:
Bandcamp
Spotify
Apple Music
YouTube Music
Amazon Music
& Dezzer
Again, if you want me to add a store you don’t see here don’t hesitate to send me a request in my inbox or reply to this post.
This is how I will be paid. So please share this post or one of the links to your friends. Musicians are severely underpaid on platforms. So with your support, I can be paid somewhat a fair amount. So please forget liking this post and re-blog it please!
Ah yeah. “The Equestrain Night Mares” update! for @lil-mizz-jay! I am continuing to write the album and I have plans for this album (Ice Nine Kills will be a big inspiration for this album so y’all should give them a listen) I want a Nightmare Night release so it’ll probably be next year. I want some cool Brony musicians to back this (*cough* Princewhateverer *cough*) and I even have a friend in makeup who give me a little makeover and give me a scratch over my eye and a dark contact lens for me to wear while I record in the studio. Eh? Neat right? Already got a few tracks for LMR. Mommy will always be pretty lol
So yeah. That’s it! Keep head banging! blegh
