Emmerdale 16.10.23 Part 4

Aaron walks into the pub, right as the family are raising a toast to the late Faith & Caleb & Nicky are officially welcomed into the family. Aaron's upset he wasn't invited & proceeds to help himself to the money in the till.

Aaron swipes the money from the till in front of them all, he declares the family owes him. Chas decides to just let him to it, she's not got the energy for a fight. Cain is angry at Aaron's behaviour but does not intervene as he storms out money in hand.

Things are tense with Aaron & Chas both are devastated by the situation but Aaron's grief is masked by anger as he continues to lash out at all those around him.

Mack rang Aaron "Guess what" he asked.

"Trust me I don't know" laughed Aaron.

"Catherine said we can have Trudie for the day" said Mack excitedly.

Aaron arrived at Macks just as Catherine was dropping off Trudie.

"I think because we are family Trudie needs to bond with her sister" Catherine smiled. "I know she'll be in good hands Aaron and I'll pick her up after tea tonight. She likes egg custard for her tea do you know how to make it Aaron?"

"I do" said Mack feeling a little put out that Catherjne thought Aaron was more capable than him.

"Oh I thought you would know but I'm sure Aaron can manage" she said "Are you jealous Mack?" Trudie teased.

"No not at all" said Mack.

"He is" laughed Aaron.

"It's just I thought Aaron would be looking after Trudie as you've got your hands full with Isla" said Catherine "No offence meant"

The two men made their way to the cafe with the babies in the twin buggy after Catherine left.

"Well is this your other little girl you knew nothing about?" asked Brenda.

"Yes she's my sisters little girl, the one I didn't know I had" Mack replied wondering how Brenda knew.

"Goodness it's hard to keep up with you" said Brenda "But they are gorgeous and look so alike. It's quite confusing. You're her dad and your sister is her mother"

"Well what can you expect from a bunch of inbreeds" said Caleb who was sitting at a table with Nicky.

"Who the hell are you name calling now?" asked Aaron as he snarled at Caleb. "You're part of the family or have you forgotten"

"Sit down Aaron please" said Brenda "I don't want trouble"

"My sister adopted Trudie" Mack explained.

"Can I dare to ask who the real mother is?" said Brenda.

"Some cretin no doubt" Caleb sneered.

"Meena is not a cretin" retaliated Mack wishing he could bite his tongue off for revealing that Meena is Trudies birth mother.

"You mean Manpreets Meena?" asked Brenda.

Mack nodded.

"Well what do you know" said Caleb "I was right"

"I wonder what's up with Nicky he looks upset" said Mack. "I think he's annoyed at his dad being so mean"

"His sweetheart got kicked out of Rishi's house for holding a sex orgy there" said Brenda. "I take it Nicky wasn't invited"

"Get your facts right you old gasbag" said Caleb.

"Well I never" said Brenda "Some people"

"Take no notice Brenda" said Mack.

"Here's you're girlfriend Mack with you're son" said Brenda as Chloe walked in.

"Oh goody. We can play guess how many kids daddy has" Caleb said as Aaron got up and pulled Caleb out of his chair by his jacket.

"What's it got to do with you how many kids he has" Aaron yelled as he dropped Caleb back into his chair.

"Come and meet Reuben Aaron" Mack said as Aaron made his way back to Mackenzie.

"What's going on now?" asked Chloe.

"Caleb being a prick as usual" said Aaron.

"Well he's helped Moira save the farm" said Chloe.

"How do you know that?" asked Mack.

"Matty told us and apparantly Cain isn't best pleased. "Who's the other baby with you Mack?" Chloe asked.

"Trudie" Mack replied "My daughter"

"You've got a never ending stream of kids Mack" said Chloe "How many more are going to pop up?"

"Big families are so much fun" said Brenda "Just wait until they start bringing boyfriends back home"

"Well I think with Reuben it will be gurlfriends" said Chloe.

"You never know he could be like his dad and have a girlfriend and a boyfriend" smiled Brenda.

"Well whatever, but I tell you one thing I'll be telling him to keep it in his pants and not let all and sundry see it like his dad has" said Chloe.

"You make me sound like a rampant baby making machine" said Mack.

"Well you are by all accounts" said Chloe "Now Where's that coffee you're buying me?"
