(hi iv never done one of these before so sorry if I mess it up a bit) in your nights swapped au, what will reala and nights thoughts be if the reader/visitor had Heterochromia (an eye that's a diffrent colour) who is self-conscious about it,would they be instrested in it?

There's some intepretation of how Swap!Reala and Swap!NiGHTS would react to a visitor who has heterochromia and is self conscious about it! I will keep it canon as possible of how they are intepretated in my AU, hope you like it!

Swap!AU Reala:

During his time at exploring the Dreamscapes, they had encoutered several types of visitors, some being tall, others being small, older or younger;

Seeing one with heterochromia, for a first time, can lighten their curiosity;

Not the type to poke or mention it very often, but tends to look at your eyes with a expression of curiosity yet finding it unique;

If the visitor tend to be insecure about their eyes, which they often makes fun or comment about it, Reala with his honesty, would disagree with the visitor upon these matters;

They believe each creature should value their unique features, no matter how weird it can look;

Despite that Reala would also help you embrace it and see it as a natural beauty;

Now if you are fine with it, is not insecure and just tends to share about it, Reala will listen to it carefully, growing eager to know more how these genetic mutation work to humans, if is similar to what happens with the Nightmarens or not.

Reala knows that Heterochromia for nightmarens is pretty common, so he would share how that for them is usually a normal thing;

And probably share with you more information about anomalies that Nightmarens tend to hatch with, such as growing another pair of eyes!;

Conclusion: SWAP!Reala sees your heterochromia as a interesting trait of yourself!

SWAP!AU NiGHTS:

In this universe, NiGHTS is not a rebel, so don't expect them to be our ol' silly purple jester dream that we know;

Where this universe stays, Reala is a rebel and NiGHTS is the ruler and Wizeman's right hand man. He is worse than Reala from the original universe in terms of doing his work;

NiGHTS goes around of dreamscapes to invade the visitor's Nightopias and tame them as part of Wizeman's terrains. So when they are around, is never a good sign;

It's nothing new for him to see every visitor around these Dreamscapes and being honest, depending on what calls his attention, majority is just futile and pathetic to their eyes;

Seeing a visitor with heterochromia, can be not so surprising for him, yet they think someone that has this trait, looks quite astounishing and freaky;

He tends to be manipulative, always acting to be a nice creature of dream to gain their trust, once they get your trust and you start to talk about your insecurities about your heterochromia, he would feed this fear more and more;

With the persona of a goodie goodie, they would say that having heterochromia is not such of a problem and that at least you can see the world around you! Better than being blind;

But if you are fine with it and just shares the curiosities of how heterochromia works for someone to born like that, NiGHTS will get bored by the topic, but will capture the information;

Will find it quite interesting comparing how human body works so different to a nightmaren;

He would share some curiosities too, such how heterochromia for nightmarens is way much common than they think!;

So for them, the visitor is pretty normal;

Conclusion: SWAP!NiGHTS doesn't care that much!

I never thought I´d ever make any serious nightmaren OC but here they are:

NO, they are not Jackle´s offspring! They are Wizemans´second attempt on creating one and the same nighmaren - Jackle being the first failed attempt and Jekyll being the second one; a real 1. level.

As Jackle had always been referred to as he/him Jekyll had been referred to as she/her by everyone since day one in order to better distinguish one from the other.

She has many small teeth contrary to Jackle who has big ones.

Her eyes are the ones of a first level; like Reala and Nights.

She is small as a first level.

She is also wielding cards (still need to design them).

Her “cape” is Jackle beta model´s cape (as you probably couldn´t tell because it´s just sketches as of now).

Chose the name because I thought it would be fitting in two ways:

1. Jekyll sounds nearly the same as Jackle.

2. Jekyll is the succeeded attempt while Jackle isn´t. Jekyll is the “poster child” in the regard in contrary to Jackle whose, not just appearance, but also mind is flawed. She is stern and silent while he is crazy and loud. Etiquette contradicting chaos; just like in the book.

I am most probably not gonna keep her appearance like this; might change a few things. Or everything. Dunno yet. I have the feeling it´s just not ´Jackle´ enough.

There were so many more thoughts I had flying around my head but they of course vanished when I tried to write them all down...

Hey there! I hope ur doing alright, you can anytime answer this ask when you feel likely! So I got an AU and I have this headcanon I want to share with you about NiGHTS that I use for that AU: NiGHTS from NiD doesn't speak much and when he does it's just Nightmaren words, and I actually like to think that NiGHTS it's actually a Nightmaren who can understand english.. But doesn't know how to speak it and instead, he talks or imitates phrases from visitors time to time. Meanwhile Reala he knows how to speak English (or any language) perfectly! What do you think about this HC? Ah also! I also like NiGHTS voice from NiD because it sounds not masculine and neither feminine, just themself!!

First off, I'm sorry I took so long to get to you. Things have been really stressful on my end. I'm not answering requests, but I can still respond to asks like yours!

Secondly, about your headcannon, that sounds like a neat headcannon! If you really want my opinion though, I'll admit to me it would make more sense if they were in reverse, like Reala didn't know much English and NiGHTS knew it well, since NiGHTS hangs around visitors more than Reala.

But at the same time, it's your AU! Do whatever you want, no one can (or at least shouldn't) get mad at you for that! And besides, just because my opinion makes more sense to me doesn't mean it's the same for you! So do what you want! ^^

Thirdly, yee! Their voice in NiD is neat too! They really do sound like the non-binary gremlin icon they are XD of course the JoD is still great! Even if it can get a bit cheesy. I love Reala's voice in JoD.

alden is a romantic,  but he never actively seeks romance.  it’s never really been important to him to constantly have,  nor has he had much experience with dating either.  it’s not that he doesn’t want it,  because he does  -----  he wants to eventually find someone to love and care for more than anything and devote so much time to them,  and he wants a family he can share that love with too someday,  but he wants it to happen naturally.  he doesn’t want to go looking for it,  he doesn’t want to force it,  he doesn’t expect to go out to a bar and hit it off with someone.  if it happens that way anyway,  that’s great,  but it has to be generic for him.  he really does believe in this idea that the perfect person for him is going to appear in his life at the right time,  and he’s just going to feel it with no question.  it will happen by chance;  it won’t happen because he’s actively looking to be with someone.  

he’s a bit clumsy and awkward when it comes to dating  (  at least at first  ),  but it’s always clear that he has the right intentions,  and he will get there eventually.  he cares about people,  and he’s the kind of person who would put his significant other first,  in a way where he may forget sometimes to take care of himself too.  

enid wasn’t someone he noticed right away  -----  obviously,  because when he first met her,  she was young.  but many years later,  right before she died,  they just started things.  it took 6 (7?)  years of only vaguely knowing her before something just clicked one day.  something as simple as a lingering look or an accidental touch of the hands,  but that’s the kind of love he always imagined himself having  -----  something that clicks suddenly,  not something he was preparing for or searching for or waiting for,  just something that happens.  he knew her,  he considered her a friend before that,  but it wasn’t until just a few weeks before her death that he got to know her in a whole other light -----  a light that had him drawn to her in a way he hadn’t felt for anyone in a long,  long time,  long before the outbreak too.  he wasn’t in love with her,  but having a small taste of what it was like to maybe get to love her some day,  and now not getting the chance to give her that love that she deserves,  is what the driving force in his downfall after her death is going to be.

(Sorry if this ask is sucky, I couldn't think of anything else) I read in your tags in your NiGHTS headcannons, and noticed there is an implication you have plenty of Jackle x Reala headcannons (what's they're ship name?)... would you be willing to share?

Lol I don’t know if there’s an official ship name or not! ... but I’ve seen people (and myself) just use J x R. And YES I’d love to share!

* Jackle fell for Reala since he looks so much and reminds him of Selph! ( So for ref, if it isn’t clear; Jackle and Selph were originally In a relationship. Selph “died” then Nights and Reala were born about a couple hundred years later. Now Reala and Jackle are together) (Reala looks so much like Selph because Wizeman wanted a exact replacement after Selphs death, but the Ideya used in the making of the new 1st level split into two, making Nights and Reala. So it’s kinda like if you put Reala and Nights together they make the “second Selph”.)

Because of this Jackle accidentally calls Reala “Selph” a whole bunch lol.

* They take naps together! I HC that nightmarens do sleep/rest, just don’t dream. It’s impossible. But Jackle loves cuddling with Reala under a warm blanket in his realm, when it’s all dark. Reala doesn’t want to admit it, but he loves it too! Especially when Jackle shares his cape with him.

* Reala likes the sound of Jackles voice. I’ve seen that a lot of people HC Jackle with a more... crazy voice? Does that make sense? Anyways I HC him with a deep voice, similar in tone with Realas. But it still has a very unnerving edge to it when he wants to. Butttt while he’s not trying to be scary, Jackles voice is very smooth and comforting!

* Jackle is a constant damn tease around Reala. He loves picking on Reala anyway he can while still being affectionate.

* Kissing. So much kissing. A gross ton of kissing.

* They speak in other languages besides English to each other, French is their most common. Jackle calls Reala nicknames in tons of languages. “Dear or Darling” is the one he uses most.

* They read together! They both tend to like disturbing books on humanity and psychology stuff.

* Jackle made Reala a shawl! So Reala can sport something similar to Jackles cape.

* This is a very secret relationship. If Wizeman knew hell would break loose. Only Nights knows but he doesn’t want any one dating his twin. So he’s kinda jealous lol.

* Jackle LOVES showing Reala his very vast collection of trinkets, oddities, and antiques. His realm is filled with a thousand years worth of junk he’s collected. (Literally, Jackles old )

* Reala is quite fascinated with Jackles body. (Idk if you’ve seen the post I made awhile back but I HC that In sunny light Jackles body turns visible and is a dark smoky color with rainbow glittering shine to it)
