Kiss Me in Komorebi+ 🌸
[Episode Five] One Last Push!
Ohhh, my dear, energetic Zayden... this was, like, the only one that went sort of poorly and it absolutely murdered me 😩 I adore this sweetheart so much! Zay was feeling extra playful this night and kept over-running their queue with jokes, pranks, and dancing! Poor Dan barely got a word in edgewise, and it wasn't long before the pranks started to get our Bachelor feeling Tense... 😓
Daniel would never say anything to Zayden's face (as we can see, he's the "I’m enjoying myself but I won’t be doing Any Of That” type) but I think it’s safe to say our Bachelor felt a little outpaced here!

You know seeing all those cute fanarts about Geto, Haibara, and Nanami cheering Gojo's fight with Sukuna from up above always makes me wanna shed a tear and also all those teacher!Geto au where Gojo always looks so happy teaching alongside him...and how all that now turn out to be like foreshadowing next chapter...like I'm really sad rn especially when he said he wished Suguru was there to motivate him before the fight...damn Gojo, no need to worry cz your Suguru is definitely cheering you on, you just didn't see it back there... and like, man, it's okay if you wanna rest now and join your Suguru, you've done so much and worked so hard...
Once again we are reminded how for Gojo, it always always comes back to his Suguru, no matter how many other of his friends and allies still there with him or recently passed away or even the fact that Suguru's body is literally still up and about and very much alive as the man who sealed him. Yet Gojo's heart and mind are still always on the man who, he of all ppl knows best, has died by his own two hands...for a year.
I mean seeing his face while he lies there and 'meets' all his late friends hurt af but at the same time I want him to rest...
It also throws back to when he said to Megumi about winning by dying is different than dying for winning (or sth like that) and how you'd always die alone no matter how many allies you got... Kinda wanna point out as well about that q&a where Gege said Gojo basically couldn't be killed...but that was years ago...so idk myb things have changed in their mind... Anyway who knows myb it's not definite yet...

My favorite thing about writing KvTW is that Keith has done some of the most badass shit ever (drop kicked a tank, punched a witch in the face, is surviving this apocalypse mostly by himself) but all of his achievements are undermined by him being the unluckiest clumsiest stupidest man alive. This idiot fell down an open manhole, injured every limb, ran into the side of a bus, and got robbed.
He is both the coolest and dumbest character I've ever written.

I feel like they shouldn't have killed Eddie off this soon. They just introduced him this season, gave him a major role basically being the center of the conflict in Hawkins, and then had him die in the finale of the very same season he was introduced in?

ive been playing tales of arise lately and hmmm im not sure how i feel about the game. i think i could summarize my thoughts as "just okay" but i dont think thatd be right either
#.text#tales#its like ummm. the first few hours of the game are rlly boring to me ❤️#i got out of calaglia and the game felt a lot better to play. i tended to play abt 90 minutes at a time while still in calaglia and#it took forever to get out of there bc it was just ummm. boring.#and i cant say cyslodia is much better tbh i feel like its generally the same but also no its not? it feels more fluid and#i think the characters feel better in this part. its weird. im not sure how to describe it#when i looked up the game to see how people thought of it it was more or less just a lot of 'has anyone even played this game' and 'no'#which isnt bad u know but i think its RLLY fuckin funny. ive seen some people say it gets rlly good but also i just dont see it yet#i mean i bought it so ofc im GONNA finish it. like the idea they have seems rlly cool... a guy who's memories are seemingly#sealed away inside the indestructable mask hes forced to wear and who can feel no pain. & a girl who inflicts pain upon everyone#she touches. i think shionne suffers a bit from her character writing but she has moments that make her really shine so#im not gonna judge her too hard for it yet. emotions also might be tied to her curse so u know. like i said. not judging yet.#and tbh i think id say the exact same for alphen. sometimes hes really interesting and fun and other times he feels really#stagnant and emotionless. ray chase is doomed to play the exact same character for every role hes in#he was at his best when he played brother nier in replicant and i can see pieces of that in alphens character as the game goes on so#im willing to wait for him as well. rinwell is really cute even if her and shionne's relationship is annoying. i see where its coming#from but i also just hate it when women in media Hate Eachother. what i have against those 2 is literally JUST me so u know#like i said 'just okay' isnt. Accurate but it also ISNT accurate. i dont know how to describe it.#i feel like what they wanted to go for in terms of story and themes was missed for the first part of the story by like a lot#not sure what my feelings are for that one but they arent positive. but like i just think calaglia overall sucked#its weird. like the writing REALLY feels like they just started Actually Caring once we got to cyslodia. its strange#but like whatever. ill See. ill see. eventually. probably.#summary: noctis lucis caelum is in this game.

Sneasler kids at the day care?
---
'It's fine,' the daycare worker thought, 'They're kids. They're just kids. Sure it's all FIVE of them instead of just the two good ones, but they're still kids. It's not like they're going to set the daycare on fire again, right? They've GOT to have learned their lesson by now.'
It was always a delight and a nightmare to have the Sneasler kids in the daycare, especially when it was all five. Everyone knew Lady Sneasler's position, and they knew her oldest couldn't babysit all the time, so it was understandable why sometimes all of them had to be dropped off instead of just one or two.
Pip (Pipilin), the youngest, was always a favorite. They were known for consistently being the most well-behaved in the toddler section, as well as the sweetest and kindest child most of the daycare workers had ever met. Memmie (Memara), the oldest aside from Ingo, was always a close second, what with being so well-behaved as well. However, she always had problems with speaking up, and she never really meshed well with other kids and usually ended up just reading quietly in a corner by herself.
It was the Middle Sneasler kids that were the problem. Surs (Surxis) was always a bit of an issue, often joining other rowdy kids to cause trouble and trying to cover up any other trouble that other kids tried to cause. He was very often a problem kid, and if it wasn't for his selflessness, he'd be on the special list of naughty kids. And then there were the twins.
Tellie and Anai (Tellid and Anyde). It was their consistent goal to make the top of the list of bad kids without getting banned. Scolding didn't even work on them. In fact, the scolding seemed to encourage them. They wouldn't even stay in Time-Out no matter what lock was put on the gate. Multiple times the two of them managed to either pick the lock or just break it, and then they'd be running around causing havoc again. There was practically no way to stop them aside from picking them up and handing them directly to their mother. Until now.
Lord Labast Braviary himself had finally entered the building. The regular daycare workers had done their best and had given up, finally caving and deciding to call in the owner. He was… a lot less intimidating in person. The newest daycare worker stared at him in confusion, looking him up and down. They knew he was a Noble, but… he just didn't seem 'Noble'.
"(You sure he can handle them?)" they asked their coworker. "(He seems kinda…)"
"(Painfully mundane with serious college student vibes?)" their coworker mumbled back, not quite as quiet as she could've been. "(Yeah, I know. Just trust him. He's worked his magic before, he can do it again.)"
"(Would you two just shut up and get back to work?!)" their supervisor hissed, making the both of them jump and scatter. The supervisor watched Labast for a few moments, then went back to her work.
As predicted, the twins were already causing chaos. Those who dared watch in the corners wondered what Lord Braviary would do. Would he tell them he knows their mother personally and use that to his advantage? Would he try to bribe them? Would he use his status alone to intimidate them? Only those who had worked there longer knew for sure what he'd do, and even then they were on the edges of their metaphorical seats.
He didn't call them over, that was the first surprise. Instead, Labast walked up to the twins himself and loudly cleared his throat to catch their attention. The twins looked up at his glaring face and crossed arms, excitedly awaiting their awaited chewing-out.
"What, bird-brain?" Anai asked, her sibling snickering next to her. There was no response to the insult, not even a slight change in expression. He gestured down to what they were doing, cocking an eyebrow as if to ask for details.
"Makin' a paint bomb," Tellie responded cheerfully, meeting his stare with malicious defiance. "Whatcha gonna do about it? Gonna get mad? Gonna call our mom?"
Labast closed his eyes, taking in a deep breath. The twins got ready for the chewing-out, delighted in their accomplishments. However, instead of an angry lecture about not being a menace or anything like that, he let out a heavy sigh as his expression melted into a sad look.
"No, I'm not going to get angry," he said calmly, his gentle tone shaking the twins to their very core and filling them with dread. He opened his eyes, looking at them in a way that made them wish sincerely he wasn't about to say what they thought he was about to say.
"I'm just disappointed in you two."
The wave of Fatherly Disappointment™ hit the entire room like a Boss Monster attack. Tellie and Anai stopped what they were doing and looked down at their feet in shame, silently begging for him to not continue.
"I expected better from you two," Labast continued, crouching down to their level to talk to them in a low and sad tone. "Your mother loves you very dearly, she brags about you guys all the time. I know you both are wonderful kids. If your mother were here to see this, I'm sure it would break her heart."
The twins trembled as they struggled to hold back tears, Anyde sniffling a little. Labast reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small container of tissues, offering it to them. In this final tipping point gesture, the twins burst into tears, sobbing loudly.
"W-we're sorry!" Tellid sobbed.
"We-we'll be good!" Anyde cried.
The daycare staff stared in partially horrified amazement as Labast kindly helped wipe away tears and snot with tissues, comforting them as they cried and vowed to behave.
The twins behaved almost perfectly for the remainder of the day, cleaning up the messes they'd made with the help of Lord Braviary. He was certainly good at what he did, and everyone knew it.
Regardless, the twins were not the only Sneasler kids in the daycare.
-
Due to prior issues, Surxis had been separated from his younger twin siblings and moved from the 'little kids' area to the 'big kids' area with his older sister Memara. The layout was as such: Pipilin in the 'really little kids' area, Tellid and Anyde in the 'little kids' area, and Surxis and Memara in the 'big kids' area. Sure, Surs was the youngest and least mature in the area, but only by a little.
Memmie had been reading alone in a corner as per usual. She always behaved herself, so no one usually bothered to watch her or the quiet corner she spent her time in. Noticing this, one of the older boys snuck over to where she was, knowing no one would pay attention to what happened over there.
"Hey bookworm," the boy scoffed, smirking as he stood over Memmie. "What book is that? 'How to be an Ugly Nerd Nobody Likes'?" He wasn't particularly good at insults yet.
"Um… no," Memmie mumbled, trying to hide behind her book in shame. "I-it's, um, a-a book about trains my brother gave me…"
"Looks dumb," the boy said, grabbing her book and yanking it away from her, looking at the pictures with an unimpressed look on his face. "What's this, a Human book? You a Human in disguise? Maybe I should tell the Royal Guard about the secret ugly little Human nerd reading dumb little Human nerd books."
"P-please give that back," Memmie said, her voice a bit louder as she reached for the book. The boy held the book higher out of her reach, smiling maliciously at her.
"Why would I?" he smirked, an evil glint in his eye. "You're an evil ugly Human. In fact, maybe I should just rip it up!"
"Please don't!" Memmie squeaked, getting up and starting to cry. "My brother gave that to me! Please don't damage it!"
"Maybe your brother is secretly a Human too! It would make sense why you both look so weird and ugly!" the boy cackled, bringing his other hand to a page of the book and starting to tug. The smallest tear appeared at the bottom. Memmie cried, too scared of drawing attention to herself to scream.
A flying building block hit the boy directly in the back of the head, doing 3 damage.
"Agh!" he yelled, removing his hand from the page and holding the back of his head. "Who threw that?!" He quickly turned around to look at the room, glaring. Surs stood there, still in the position of having just thrown something.
"PUT DOWN MY SISTER'S BOOK YOU BULLY!!" he screamed, catching everyone's attention. "THAT'S HER PRIVATE PROPERTY!! RIPPING HER BOOK IS DESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY!! MY MOM'S GONNA SUE YOU!! SHE'S GONNA SUE YOU AND YOU'LL HAVE TO LIVE IN A BOX!!!"
"WHAT is going on here?!" a daycare assistant said, running over to the ruckus.
"He threw a block at my head!" the boy yelled, pointing at Surs accusatorily. "She dropped her book and I was just giving it back to her and he threw a block at my head!"
"SLANDER AND LIES!!" Surs screeched, picking up another block to throw at him.
"ENOUGH!" the daycare assistant said, grabbing the block from Surs and glaring. She looked over at Memmie who had clearly been crying, and she lowered her voice. "Memara? Can you tell me who is telling the truth?"
All eyes were on Memmie. Her heart started racing faster, and her throat tightened. She burst into sobs, running over to the daycare assistant and latching onto her apron and sobbing into it.
"H-he called me an u-ugly Human!" she sobbed, her voice muffled by the fabric. "H-he was gon-gonna rip up m-my book!"
"He said what?" the assistant said carefully and angrily, glaring daggers into the kid. "Marcol. Book. Now." She held her hand out, and the boy shuffled over guiltily and handed it over.
The daycare assistant handed the book back to Memmie, who then opened it up and showed the little tear the boy had made in the page. This was very impressive for her. Normally she wouldn't even dare telling on someone, much less show the evidence of it.
"Marcol!" the daycare assistant gasped, furious. "We are going to call your mother right now and you are going to tell her EXACTLY what you did to Memmie's book."
She looked over at Surs, her glare still incidental on her face. "And Surxis?" she said, her voice still firm.
"What?" Surs said, ready to get punished for throwing things again.
"… Next time, tell one of the daycare assistants before you throw something," she said, her voice softening a bit. "Other than that, it was very kind of you to help your sister. I'll remember to mention that to your mother next time I see her." She then let Memmie go and grabbed onto the boy's arm, leading him to the office to call his mother.
The positive affirmation shook Surxis. It was amazing. Once he had gotten over the most of the shock, he ran over to his older sister to comfort her.
"I promise I'll protect you Memmie," he said, using his shirt sleeve to help wipe away her tears. "Nobody will pick on you while I'm here. I'll punch em' in the face if I gotta."
"Th-thank you Surs," Memmie choked, sniffling as she hugged her book tightly. "You're the best."
-
In the 'really little kids' area, everything was business as usual. Babies were consoled, toddlers were giggling or crying, and Pipilin was having the time of their life stacking blocks in one tall tower.
A four-legged monster toddler came over to their tower and knocked it down, giggling all the while.
"No no, makkit beeeeg!" Pip said, stretching their arms up high. "Then makkit go pwshhhhh!" They swung their arms down and to the side so fast they fell over onto their side. Instead of crying like most other toddlers, this just made them giggle.
"Beeeeeeeeeeeg!" the other kid squeaked, giggling and pushing over some of the fallen blocks to build it up again.
"Yah!" Pip squeaked excitedly, sitting up again and grabbing blocks in their tiny little hands and building the tower again. "Mommy sez gotta make th' bottom big so ih' dun' fall over!"
"Hehehe, bottom is butt," the other toddler giggled before picking up a piece with their mouth and putting it halfhazardly on the pile. "Block butt!"
"Block butt!" Pip giggled.
Their entire time was spent building up a tower as high as they could and knocking it down repeatedly. They make five whole friends that day.

Bloodline of the Sacred Dragons - Chapter 1-1
[Read from the start]
Tumblr media
Chapter 1: The white Sacred Dragon of Dragonia
Besides the little birds chirping, something else made a noise. Or maybe he had just imagined it.
One way or the other, Bleu didn't care. So he didn't even turn to check what it was.
Besides the sounds in the wind, he had his voice inside his own head. There was no reason to use it out loud. Because he had no one to talk to.
He was the last survivor of the Sacred Dragons, no one else of his tribe remained. He was very well used to being alone.
All he wanted was some peace and quiet, and time had given him more than he asked for. A quiet life of indulging in books. It was a tranquility that most people had trouble to associate with a wild dragon.
Tumblr media
For some time now, Bleu had been entertaining himself with pen and paper. As if trying to draw feelings he could not put into words. Eventually, he grew tired of it and returned the pen to its inkwell.
He had always kept the habit of writing on his diaries, though he took breaks from it at times. So long had him been writing them that the volumes filled a couple of his shelves. But lately, there had been many days like this one, where there was nothing to write about. How long had this gone on for? It shouldn't be that hard to remember.
To relax his back after sitting on the stool for so long, he stretched his long neck, turning it all the way to his back. To his surprise, he saw a girl, looking upside down due to his position.
"Bleu."
Breaking the silence as she called his name, the human girl wrapped her slender arms around his neck.
Bleu just barely avoided to fall off the stool like a klutz, and was grateful for that small blessing. With his strong neck he pulled the girl up as he fixed his posture, and then turned around on the stool.
"It's you, Karin." A name he was very used to say. "When did you come in?"
Tumblr media
The tall girl, who reached up to Bleu's shoulders, looked up at him brightly. The hunter clothes were a good fit for her strong and graceful body. To come to Dragonia, she certainly had to cross fields and the forest. Bleu gently picked out the dead leaves entangled in her hair with the tips of his claws.
Sacred Dragons were big, but not gigantic. Unlike other inferior dragons, they walked on two legs. When it came to height, a human's head usually reached up to the base of their wings.
"Don't surprise me like that," said Bleu. "Geez. You haven't dropped this habit of hugging me either," he complained a bit, not wanting to be treated like a kid forever.
"Oh, it's your fault for not noticing even as I entered the room. I can't picture you having been once in that Shining Force," she replied with a slight pout.
Shining Force, the army of light that once saved the whole continent of Rune. Bleu had been a member of it, but it was merely a title of the past to him. Hearing the name made the tip of his nose itch. Besides, he didn't expect Karin to bring it up.
She pulled away from him while stroking his neck, and turned away. Her light brown hair, tied up in a single ponytail, made a swift arc with the motion. Inside the quiver on her back, over her leather clothes, a bunch of arrows clacked in disarray.
Tumblr media
"Oh, right. I shot down a copper pheasant on the way here. We can make a great stew for dinner with it."
Linking her arms behind her back, she gave a glance over her shoulder, suddenly making a cute face. Then she ran away without waiting for Bleu to reply.
"A stew, does that mean you want to stay over again?"
Bleu made a dejected face just from thinking of the time and work it would take to prepare the meal. It would be night by the time they finished, wouldn't it?
"You don't want me to go back alone to Rudo at midnight, do you? Besides, there's plenty of rooms so you don't have an excuse," she answered, already out of sight.
Good grief. In his head, Bleu waved a white flag.
Karin came to visit once a month, from the village of Rudo in the west. The very picture of liveliness, this human girl was someone Bleu couldn't go against. His power was far superior, yet when it came to words he had yet to win even once.
As a kid, he had grown up among Karin and the other children of Rudo. Daughter of the village chief, Karin was, then and now, Bleu's only friend. Childhood friends, if you could apply the expression for a human girl and a dragon child.
Tumblr media
When the demon army assaulted Dragonia, Karin again was the only one to come after the Shining Force and help him. She worried more about him than the danger she could face. That's why Bleu joined the Shining Force to protect her.
Even once he returned after the end of the war, with her fearless nature, Karin continued to be like a big sister in his life, in both age and spirit.
The changes she would bring into his life showed him that time never stands still. Any moment with her was noisy, hectic, and full of energy. Bleu liked all these sides of her.
He let out a deep breath that wasn't quite a laugh nor a sigh.
Closing the diary he had been working on, he got up from the stool quietly.
Eventually, their late dinner was ready.
They ate face to face with each other as usual, the bowl of stew on the dinner table between them.
"Krin comes back tomorrow."
Karin brought up the topic suddenly, looking up to meet Bleu's face.
"Really? Krin, that walking encyclopedia?" Bleu asked back, jerking his head up from the glass of wine he had been drinking. With the harsh movement, the wine in the glass spilled onto the table and his jaw.
Tumblr media
"Hey, watch it. You've always had such terrible manners."
Karin got up from her chair, and wiped Bleu's mouth with a cloth.
"Stop it, we're not kids anymore, isn't this embarrassing?"
While clearly ashamed and displeased, Bleu stood perfectly still. Perhaps that was more of a reflex than a habit.
"Nobody's watching. Besides, I used to do this always back when you were a baby."
When he was just a newborn, Bleu's mother could not produce milk, so the people of Rudo fed him cow and goat milk in her place. Karin insisted that she had done it a bunch of times. Bleu didn't believe her, because she was only three years old back then. She must have been making it up. Whenever he contested it, she would start giving a bunch of details on how things were back then. Since he had no memories to compare, it was always his loss.
Not putting up with that, he tried to get back on topic. "So, about Krin coming back."
"Right, right, that."
Tumblr media
Karin sat back on her chair.
"I heard that she went to Manarina to study magic. But she's finally coming back then."
Bleu let his mind wander to memories of Karin's younger sister. While Karin was the amazon running through hills and fields with a bow in hands, Krin was the opposite, a bookworm. The sisters were a perfect split of introvert and extrovert.
Krin was the one who looked for accurate accounts of the Manual within old books. Her knowledge had been praised even by Advisor Nova of Guardiana. Currently, she knew more about the Manual than Bleu himself. After all, he hadn't had any chance to see it, as it had been sealed within a shrine until Darksol stole it.
"Of course, you're coming with me to welcome her back."
Bleu wanted to say she was springing this on him too suddenly, but she had her hands clasped together, and her lips stretched a bit.
"Right…" he answered, a bit hesitant. He had no problem with seeing Krin. However, to do that he'd have to leave for Rudo Village.
"Krin actually asked for you to come. She said she has something important she wants to tell you directly."
"Oh, and what's that?"
Tumblr media
"She said that in a letter brought by a carrier pigeon from Uranbatol, and nothing else. Seems to be something she wants to say face to face. Honestly, does that girl have no faith in her own sister?"
Karin sulked, and Bleu laughed as he tried to cheer her up.
"It's Krin, she might have been worried that the letter could get in other people's hands. Which means it must something really important. Guess I have no choice…"
"No choice?" Karin's reply sounded just a little bit angry.
"No, no, I'm also happy to come along," he added, laughing like a fool. His words were only half true.
Thus, Bleu left the land of Dragonia for the first time in years. It was the start of a new journey.
To next part>
Translation notes:
Bleu's mom also used to write diaries, which you can find in game.
The idea of Sacred Dragons being the superior dragons has been around before. Neither of these texts acknowledge dragonewts though, who are also bipedal. I'm unsure if they are being excluded on purpose or if the writers just forgot.
Now, the elephant in the room. Karin's appearance:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This does not look like a brown haired girl with hunter clothes, bow, quiver and hair in a ponytail to me. Not even close. There might have been some wack miscommunication between writing and illustrating the novel.
Tumblr media
The ponytail description is slightly closer to her NPC sprite, not that it matters much since it's been ten years and this is somewhat generic sprite shared between the whole Important Little Girl Trio.
Tumblr media
She also has a ponytail in the GBA version, though that's likely a coincidence, as this seems fully based on the original sprite, and I've already seen Krin's description in the next part, it has nothing to do with her GBA incarnation. I still have to bring all of this up to laugh back at the good old days where I boldly declared the novel had given her a proper design.
(While we're nitpicking, Bleu's eyes also seem to be red in the cover, are he did not have a striped belly in the original game.)
