Ok, so we’re shaping up their future stances on their own ship. Tendi as chief science officer and Rutherford as chief engineer. But who’s first officer and who’s captain? I can see each of them taking either position.
Boimlers dream is to be captain and he’s shown that he could be a good leader (when he gets out of his own way haha) but maybe he realizes he doesnt have to be captain to fulfill his purpose of wanting to help people and he’d be so supportive to mariner
But Mariners story arc, refusing to rank up and take on responsibility, would mean her being captain would be a fitting conclusion to that arc. Plus she has the natural ability to bring out the best of those she works with, especially this season. Which is also a good quality for a first officer. She’d be an excellent sounding board for him.
Lower Decks needs our help more than ever. And just by writing a few letters, you can help save this beloved show.
Take your time to write a polite letter and express how much the show means to you and everyone else. If your letter is rude aggressive and irrational, paramount will simply ignore it, so it is best to keep it formal, structured and polite and inform them on the big mistake they made.
Quality or quantity? There definitely needs to be a lot of letters but if they are all a sentence long, this won’t be taken seriously. So there needs to be a good mix of quality and quantity.
Here are a few addresses you can send them to. And DO NOT harass these people, ONLY Write letters to them:

Star Trek: Lower Decks Review –
There is only one thing better than a new episode of Star Trek: Lower Decks dropping. That is two episodes dropping at the same time. But if Twovix was the episode where our crew [mostly] got promoted. Then I Have No Bones Yet I Must Flee is looking at the…
I just love using this Prequel app. I already love using it more than that Deep Art Effects app. I know the only filter I seem to use for Prequel in the cartoon filter, but I'll try to find other filters to use.
