so this European clothing retailer decided to advertise their jean cuts on youtube and it's unintentionally the funniest shit I've seen today. why? well.

now important context here: in German, die (pronounced 'dee') is just a feminine article, it literally means "the".

but if an ad gets placed in the middle of an English video and doesn't use a single explicitly German word for most of the ad, even a native speaker is gonna think "they want me to die how?" it keeps getting funnier.

I didnt know what to say, 😭 i managed to stutter out a 'thank you' and then she asked me who my favorite character was and i said Reyna cuz yk shes amazing and she said 'oh yeah i really like her too' and like??!? Ik it was a very mundane and normal interaction technically but i was just frozen?!?!? I forgit that Actual People that are Not Just On Tumblr like the same things as me 😭💀

Being in the discord server I'm in is so crazy, when I think about it.

Before I even had a Tumblr there were all these blogs I liked to check in on because I thought they were super cool and I liked their content

And by sheer chance I stumble into a discord server that has a good number of these people, and I'm talking to them on practically a daily basis now.

Not that I have/will ever put any of them on a pedestal or anything (they wouldn't like that anyway) but it's kind of wild how it went from "eh I'll probably never interact with these people ever, even just to like a post" to just.

Silly conversations about TF headcanons. At least three new AUs every day. Putting together the most cursed donuts we can possibly think of (twice!), just to hear about the cashier's reaction. Playing miniputt on a Discord voice call for two whole hours while discussing each others' fics and convention experiences.

It's only been -what- three months?? that I've been in the server?

But we've heard each others' deep thoughts, and traded pet pictures, and laughed ourselves silly, and idk man this probably sounds like a jumble but it's 3am and it just kind of hit me how wild life can be and how quickly it can change.
