~ Hayley is not good to be two-faced, and especially in front of her loved ones because they know her body language and they know that something is wrong

~ lack of eye contact, she usually look at anything else in the room but at the person. She is trying to find the best possible connection to her story just to make it sound as good as possible.

~ she cares about her figure because her character and style of dress reflects her name and career

~ the most common is white blouses with black pencil skirts and heels but if she doesn't have to dress properly she likes to wear comfortable clothes such as shirts, hoodies

standing: shoulders back, chest pushed forward, head high, hands usually locked behind her back or in front while she's holding another one of her documents for her cases

sitting: back pressed against couch while reading or watching a good movie or book and eating something good

~ as the southern girl, she speaks feverishly and melodiously with slight accent (french is her mother language)

~ however, her closest friends know her very well and know how her body language. They know when she is trying to hide something from them. Her brother is the one who can read her the most, and vice versa.

~ general: physically in the best condition. Even though she is not tall, she can easily deal with a man a head taller than herself and put him on the ground. Training and the military taught her how to survive in the worst situations. Hair usually wears in ponytail or bun and she only wears pants and t-shirts because she despises to dressing up like a lady in a dress

1) who can outdrink the other?

Definitely John, he's much better at drinking than Hayley. After a couple of drinks, she starts to get lively and bolder than when she's sober and starts poking her red-haired brother-in-law, at which only John laughs, knowing Hayley will avoid Jacob for a few days after sobering up the other day.

2) who says “i love you” more?

Both, every morning, every day, every night. They both express what they feel without any barrier. Simply described as Lovebirds (nickname from Jacob). Even after a few years of living together, the spark never went out.

3) who has trouble sleeping alone?

None of them, sometimes they fail to combine the time and sometimes John has to spend the night in the bunker after the situation in the county has changed and the project has had to toughen up a bit but they still make the evening calls.

4) who swears more?

More John than Hayley. Sometimes the work gets too much as well as the stress and it all comes crashing down on him and he starts to get grumpy. The only time Hayley will cuss is when she hits herself when doing something or when she gets mad and you don't want to see her, trust me. She's not just a sweet girl, she can be real bitch.

5) who does more of the housework?

Hayley, she's most likely near the ranch and she doesn't mind getting her hands dirty with the work around the house. It reminds her of a home in the suburbs of New Orleans where she grew up. City life is different than life in Hope County.

6) who forgets their anniversary?

Nope. None of them would have forgotten. John remembers exactly the day they finally got together as a couple and every year since then he's reminding himself of how lucky he is. And Hayley's the same. She will look for gifts for weeks for their special day .

7) who steals the duvet in their sleep?

Sometimes Hayley. During the night, she kicks off a blanket, which later forces her to snuggle up to John.

8) who keeps the other awake at night with their snoring?

None of them, John only snores softly.

9) who finds stray animals and begs the other to let them keep them?

That might be Hayley, but she won't beg, but rather use her feminine skills to convince him.

“Darling, your persuasive abilities are remarkable, but don't get me wrong, you can't bring every wounded animal from God knows where. Who knows what disease it has?”

10) who usually makes dinner?

John, he's a wonderful cook. Back when they lived in Atlanta, he tried to teach her a few tricks, but Hayley would rather leave the cooking to him. The only time she hangs out in the kitchen is when she's helping him cook.

11) who plays their music out loud?

Hayley, she likes to sing while driving, but only when she's alone.

12) who hogs the bathroom?

John wins here, he uses the bathroom the longest, but their bathroom is huge, so they don't hogs. The only problem for Hayley is John.

John, for sure. It's coming out of him one after the other. His charismatic self never changed after they got married and had kids. He's still the charming, captivating, amusing man she met back in Atlanta.

They both have their “days”, and sometimes they don’t agree with each other, but their quarrels don't last long, and they settle down later.

15) who isn’t afraid to embarrass the other in public?

John, he likes when he can expose Hayley to his silly jokes. And it still fills him with pride to see her blush at the effect he has on his wife.

16) who gives the other cringeworthy pet names?

John is guilty. He uses a lot of pet names but most often uses (darling, sweetheart, love, dear, gorgeous). Hayley's most often calls him (handsome, dear, sweetheart)

17) who fusses over the other when they get sick?

John, he's terrible patient. He enjoys spending time together, and that's when he gets very handsy and sometimes he acts like a little boy to get what he wants.

18) who finds it impossible to stay angry at the other for long?

They don't like to argue, but their quarrels never last long.

19) who clings to the other for comfort when they’re sad or scared?

From time to time, when the demons of John's past strike and Hayley is with him and diverts his mind away and snuggles up to him. She still remembers the time when he told her about his secret and about his real family and what he had to go through. And he's with her every time she needs him.

Early at the beginning of their relationship Hayley didn't want to show up at with the fact that she had wrapped around her finger the most wanted playboy in Atlanta. She wanted their relationship to go slow but John didn't want to hide what he felt and their relationship. Over time, Hayley got used to his affections, his sudden embrace from behind, kisses, or his touch under the table during the family dinner. Very inconspicuous, John.
