OC Fact! the main character from my story im currently writing, Olive (they/them) has chronic insomnia where they go four-five nights without sleep, but downplay it a lot to their gang via drinking excessive amounts of energy drinks or coffee. they refuse to really get help for it, but it has lead to issues occasionally during jobs (theyre in a literal gang as the sniper!) so they sometimes take the medications supplied to them if they remember

Dearest Gaktial,

You seem to be trying so hard to push us all away. You want to be hated so badly... I don’t understand why. You are so worried about hurting us and yet you don’t seem to see that pushing us all away is hurting just as much. I joined this group because I believed it was the right thing to do. My mission is to help people. You seem like someone who could use some help. 

I don’t want to hate you, I don’t want to be afraid of you, and I don’t want to leave. You think I’m weak, and I have been weak in the past, but I know now that this is where I’m meant to be. I never met Oleander, but you seem to think highly of her, and I hope she knew how much you cared for her. However, it’s important to remember that the past is the past and you can’t change what has happened. You can only ask for forgiveness and work towards redemption.

You may have done bad things in the past but I have learned that doing bad things doesn’t mean you don’t deserve a chance at redeeming yourself. For all the bad you have done, think of the good you have done as well. You saved Lianna from a cave-in, you have protected all of us in battle time and time again, and by staying with us and helping us find these Primordial Gems, you are protecting all of Lynarie from danger. 

You don’t see it, but you are a hero to me, Gaktial. I care about you and I believe in you.

                    Words cannot express the mood I’m feeling. It’s how you feel, I guess I can’t really change that. The REALITY is that we’re not going anywhere. I’m not going anywhere, and Fiametta isn’t. Well, I can’t speak for her. If she wants to leave, it’s going to be on HER terms.

                     Besides, if you die, we’re all fucked. At least if we fail, we’re failing together. But, I don’t think that’s going to happen when we have the most badass orc in the land, right?

(01/23/19) Hiya!! Do you play Overwatch, but want a safer, accepting environment? Are you wanting more friends to play with but not many people have the game in your immediate friend group? Well, to cut to the chase, there is a discord server for you! We are always accepting new members, and would love to have a lively, fun server!

The discord server has been set up to accommodate all players from casual to competitive, and is meant to be a safe, friendly place for all players of all orientations of all platforms!!! Please bear in mind this is a work in progress server, we’re not pros by any means, and please be patient while I and the other mods work things out!

I didn’t know I was the first one you confided in about… everything. Thank you for trusting me enough to share something like that with me. I can’t imagine what it must have been like to go through something like that. I’ve only ever lost one person, and for you to lose so many at once… all I can say is I’m sorry. I wish I could reverse it all for you.

You say that you’re weak, but I’ve never seen you that way. Even at your most vulnerable, you’ve never seemed weak to me. In fact, when you were telling me all of these terrible things you’ve been through, it just confirmed for me how strong you really are. You survived all of that, and you’ve kept going ever since. I honestly admire you for that. I don’t think I could do what you do, carrying that weight around on my shoulders.

I’ve been traveling the world for a long time. I’ve met all sorts of people, some brilliant, some horrible. I know a bad person when I see one, and you aren’t one of them. You’ve suffered more than I could ever imagine. And I think you do deserve a chance to redeem yourself, which is why I’m still here. It’s why we’re all still here. You won’t fail us, Gaktial. You’ve lost enough people already. Pushing us away will only mean losing that many more, and that isn’t redemption. That’s just history repeating itself.

There’s no redemption in death. There’s redemption in taking tragedy by the horns and coming back stronger because of it. Coming back ready to try again, and be better this time. And I want to be there with you when you do it.
