Late autumn and uh, hehe, graveyard. Well, for antagonist-Darmon at least. He insisted to have a place like that for those who were unfortunate enough to not survive, well, anything they were going through. The graveyard was the only place where he could be alone and think, also. It’s a peaceful place where he could talk to those long gone and reassure them their sacrifice was worth it. Hero-Darmon is still searching for his favorite place, however.

Animal

Red-tailed black cockatoo. Mostly because it's said to accompany the dead to heaven in the florklor of the Tiwi people (accroding to wikipedia) and because they rather shy of humans.

God

If it’s not about in-world gods, then Hades, the God of the Dead and the King of the Underworld.

Ok so this is something I've wanted to do with my own old fucks, but I didn't know exactly how I wanted of go about doing it!!! Until my mate @prettyputrified sent in the ask that gave me an idea; polyvores!! So anyway, I made some more "What's in [x character]'s bag" type posts as a response to this!

Sylvain's Bag

Work Bag: The plain black bag Sylvain takes with him when he goes on jobs. It contains only what he needs, which are usually no more than his weapon of choice and his collection of burner phones. Oh, and a pack of cigarettes. Murder is pretty stressful after all.

Casual Bag: Sylvain's own personal purse and wallet. Despite his rough and violent demeanor, he loves self expression and indulging in the emo/pastel goth aesthetic.

- Pocket 1: Self defense pocket. The streets of Pythonel are a dangerous place, so Sylvain makes sure not to leave the house without a gun and/or knife. The weed is purely for sale by the way, not edglord enough I guess.

- Pocket 2: Self care pocket. Contains his own personal phone, which he decorates in cool stickers he finds while out and about. Also makeup and protection, in case he wants to doll up for someone he fancies.

Aldin's Bag

Shopping Bag: Aldin just uses the same plastic shopping bag he got ten years ago to carry everything. Usually has empty cans and drug garbage in there with everything else. Phone is busted to hell, but you know Aldin's broke ass can't replace it. Get your shit together man what is this???

Jeagar's Bag

Bag: Ann made it (and basically all his clothes) for him. She tries to include stuff she knows Jeagar likes on it. He never says it aloud, but his old ass appreciates it. Always has bugs inside it that he finds in dire circumstances.

- Pocket 1: Used to store weapons and cigarettes. Usually alternates between his collection of fancy weaponry when he goes out. Matchboxes are from Ann's thrift shopping. Never buys any of his cigarettes, instead he digs up used ones from the dump.

- Pocket 2: Leisure pocket. Contains whatever books he's reading at the moment. Carries around his favorite songs on cassette tapes because the radio people have bad taste. Phone is an old ass brick phone he's had for the last 20 years. How does that thing still work??

- Pocket 3: Emergency pocket. Always has at least one Molotov cocktail in his bag. Just in case.

John's Bag

Backpack: Simple brown backpack John brings when he goes on trips. Has his keys and pins that he finds funny. Tomagachi is a gift from Ferris for when he's stressed out.

- Front Pocket: Sketch pocket. Has all his little sketchbooks and pencils for when he's bored. Also draws on pieces of loose paper like receipts and used envelopes.

- Inside (smaller part): Comfort pocket. Has porn and alcohol in it all the time, always. Keeps more hardcore drugs in a vintage tin case. Please don't ask about the wedding ring.

- Inside (larger part): All the random shit he's stolen. Purely does it to satiate his "tendencies", as he calls it. Usually takes valuables or vintage items, but will nab literally anything if need be.

Charles' Bag

Backpack: Old backpack Charles covered in cool stickers and patches. Loves creepy stuff and clutter, which shows in how he decorates most of his belongings. Negative space who?

- Front Pocket: Fun shit pocket. Ready access to drugs, money, music, and most importantly, video games. Phone is some dinky bullshit covered in stickers. Actually has to replace it semi-regularly due to being a temperamental little bitch that destroys shit.

- Main Pocket: "Important" storage pocket. Where he puts his bong when he goes out to a buddy's. Pretty much always has a shitload of random snacks. Always contains at least two guns no matter what.

Handbag: Bag Ferris stole from a thrift store and covered in patches and pins. Decorates the same way Charles does, but has more vintage and kidcore-esc tastes. Oh and also sexy ladies.

- Pocket 1: Storage pocket. Always has drugs on him, either to sell or use. Keeps his wallet in there for business purposes. Mainly has weed, but will also carry other stuff too.

- Pocket 2: Fun pocket. Books and video games for when he's bored. A rough draft of whatever gross fic he's working on in case inspiration strikes him. Weapons used to make potential inspo. A camera to capture said inspo. Phone is nothing special, just a sticker-covered little flip phone he actually takes decent care of.

- Lunchbox: Usually carries this along with his bag. Keeps the bigger snacks and drinks he can't stick in his bag. Organization is important after all!

Handbag: Alternates between one of his many vintage-looking, designer handbags. Loves excessive gold and jewels in his accessories. Minimalism is so overrated. Daniel's cutesy pink and white flip phone is hardly anything special on the surface. Gets a bit strange when you realize it's the only bit of modern tech in Goldberg. Weird...

So, why become religious? It may seem increasingly irrelevant to the world, and many people want to leave it behind as something unintelligent, like Richard Dawkins, or Bertrand Russell, who’s quoted as saying: “Religion is something left over from the infancy of our intelligence, it will fade away as we adopt reason and science as our guidelines.”

But not only am I joining a religion, but one supposedly supplanted by monotheism.

Weren’t we supposed to believe in less and less gods to reach this enlightened atheism? Monotheists are Atheists towards every other god, and we were supposed to become full atheists after that. Why am I going back to believing in many and all gods? Especially as a former atheist.

Well, this is the story about exactly how I came to choose to go backwards on that progress.

You can say that it started when I grew out of my edglord atheist phase and became a (LaVeyan) Satanist. What? I grew out of being an edgy atheist and became an even edgier one? Not exactly. In middle school, I was big into reddit Atheism, and you better believe I was cringe as fuck. You better believe if I had a time machine --(Along with trying out the original coke recipe [1])-- one of the first thing I'd do is give middle school me a big slap to the face.

Eventually (thankfully) I grew out of it come the start of high-school. I came to understand that religion came naturally to humans. Hell, I had a front row seat to that considering reddit/new atheism had practically become one.

Understanding that about religion, I turned to Satanism. If religious behavior like searching for a higher purpose was inevitable, I thought I might as well have joined one, and since I was as of yet unconvinced of religious arguments, I turned to one of the only "Secular" (In massive air quotes) religion that I could philosophically justify.

And even though that philosophy and religion is strictly materialist, It got me thinking in spiritual ways. What was more was me getting into Søren Kierkegaard, and started working him into my own Satanic philosophy.

This went on for a good while before I started questioning my "faith" again. I forgot what caused me to question it again, but I did. I decided to put it to the back-burner and focus on it later.

fast forwards a couple months after that, and I was getting back into the swing of trying to be a writer (I'm pursuing writing novels, should probably have mentioned that earlier) and, under the influence of Neil Gaimen's American Gods and Rick Riordan's novel universe, I sought out to write my own mythology crossover story, where all world mythologies existed and had to do battle with a new pantheon that was emerging.

Part of the writing process was research into the mythologies themselves. Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Roman, Native American, Aztec, Japanese, whole shebang.

I forgot what happened or where I was looking, but I ran into the idea that none of, or most, of these cultures didn't take a literal interpretation of their myths.

Which wasn't odd to me at the time. I already knew that, contrary to cringe reddit retards on r/atheism such as Aron Ra, Mediaeval church-men and clergy didn't think that the bible was literal (for more on this, check out the History for atheists blog, that guy knows his shit and does his research).

But that did get me into looking not just at the mythologies, but at the religious practices of these cultures, so I could learn how the Gods were viewed from the worship angle.

A few miles down the rabbit hole and I was reading about philosophy of religion and basically converted to reconstructionist paganism.

Currently, I find myself drawn towards Anglo-Saxon Heathenry and Celtic/Irish/Scottish Polytheism, as those two religions can be seen as part of my heritage (English on my Moms side, Scottish on my Dads side), though, not to say that heritage is all there is. I don't care what race you are, you can worship any god granted you respect the traditions attached. Folkists should shit the fuck up about race and go back to being irrelevant.

What a journey, right? Going from reddit atheist, to enlightened regular Atheist, to Satanist, and now a Polytheist.

Now, what were the arguments in question that converted me?

The arguments came from a myriad of sources, such as John Michael Greer, Steven Dillon, Oceam Keltoi on YouTube, and even Søren Kierkegaard and his stuff on religion and belief in a god. Although this time it's Kierkegaard in a Polytheist context. And this came at a time when I was questioning my at-the-time faith, so I was more receptive to these arguments, not that they would have not convinced me otherwise.

My argument for Polytheism is that both monotheism and even atheism relies upon special pleading in regards to religious experience. religious experiences roughly being defined as experiences interpreted as having spiritual or divine origin during religious practice.[2] If tumblr doesn't have word limits, I'll go on to explain the argument.

If this arguments convinces you, Great! If they don't, also Great! I'm not an evangelist looking to convert you to save your soul from Ragnarök or whatever. Again, this is story time, not wanting to convince you time.

How are atheism and Monotheism special pleading? well, firstly, let's address Monotheism since that's the easiest and shortest one to explain.

Given that monotheists only posit one god, they need to find some way to dismiss other's experiences in order to continue to hold that there is only one god. This is usually done one of three ways:

Arguing that the entities experienced are actually demons.

Arguing that the entities experienced don't exist.

arguing that the entities experienced are their gods in disguise.

They all engage in special pleading since they present arguments can can be evenly matched by other religions and their arguments.

Why Woden and Lugh Demons and Christ is the only god if I can just as easily proclaim that Jesus is just a highly powerful Elf or a Leprechaun? And it's the same sort of argument for the other two. Why do your gods exist and mine don't? or, Why are my experiences just your god in disguise or misinterpreted if I can just as easily say that Christ is a misinterpretation of Thunor, the real savior of mankind?

regardless, the arguments presented can be said the same way going anyway.

Then the Christians pull out their bibles and shout: "But We Have The Word Of God, Here! We Have Textual Evidence Revealed To Humanity!"

As if I can't also cite the English poem "Beowulf" or Lebor Gabala Erenn, AKA The Book of the Takings of Ireland, AKA The Book of Invasions.

Now, onto the Atheists. How do they engage in special pleading?

Atheists typically chalk experiences like that to the brain playing tricks on the individual in question. something like chemicals and other feelings at work.

However, I could ask how they know other sensations aren't also mental products of things that aren't also there.

The consistent skeptics on this acknowledge that the brain-in-a-vat theory is unfalsifiable, but at least implicitly, they choose the validity of experiences when they also ask for evidence of God, something they can experience.

But to say that material experiences (five senses) are valid and mental experiences (dreams, divine/spiritual) are not is a form of special pleading. It posits one form of experience is valid while the other is not, despite holding equal weight on the face of skepticism.

But if you can't be certain either way, why believe in the Gods?

It all goes back to Søren Kierkegaard. I decided to take the leap of faith that he was talking about that individuals should do. and Taking that leap was the greatest decision I could say I could make.

Also. While I'm writing this, Nick Land, another philosophical influence of mine, is currently talking a lot about god on his twitter (circa, mid January 2023).

As well as Justin Murphy, who is also an Accelerationist, styles himself as a "Secular Catholic". So belief in a god is not incompatible with Accelerationism, which is the political philosophy I second most style myself as (Second to Paul-Emile de Puydt's "Panarchy" [3])

It might make sense given what Deleuze and Guattari (hereafter: D&G) have said about God "being a lobster"[4]

Whenever we're talking about D&G the lines between the two blur due to their conception of "virtuality/actuality" (or the virtual being more real than the actual), but it's safe to say that when they speak of God they are likely referring to the transcendental thing-in-itself as they are continental philosophers in the Kantian tradition, and Kant believed that the thing-in-itself was God (or at least it was the last place for a god to hide).

I'm not well read in D&G, so don't take what I'm about to say as gospel or anything to go on, but a lot of that sounds like semantics. When I refer to Gods as a polytheist, I'm referring to actual individuals cognitively independent entities the same way people normally talk about a God or the Gods.

But regardless of the Accelerationist take on God, I don't see classical theism or classical polytheism as incompatible with accelerationism.

To me, at least, accelerationism is concerned only with the material world and how social codes update, get corrupted, or withered by bugs. With scarce few exceptions, I don't see any sort of tradition metaphysics as incompatible with it.

One of the funniest things in middle school that happened to me

It was when I was being a little edglord and not standing for the pledge in the morning bc it creeped me out and I was super depressed so I was acting out by being contradictory

It really pissed off my classmates and teacher because we're in the God Loving, Bible thumping, 'Merica Worshipping Midwest.

Eventually my teacher pulled me aside and literally got into my face and said "Look, I know your dad got diagnosed with cancer and your childhood dog just died, but that's no excuse to be disrespectful. Veterans died for this flag."

Online nazi watcher anon here again, sorry for blowing up your asks but I thought I'd add a bit more information. Everyone please keep in mind that this is just my observations from various platforms where I watch these groups interact. I am not an expert and I guarantee you there are places where they're making plans that I cannot see, so my information is definitely not complete.

In the mainstream non-nazi spaces they're currently focusing on the border across all the provinces, there's chatter that they may focus on those areas rather than going into cities. There is also talk of them blocking off the ports in Vancouver and Halifax, though I haven't seen any firm plans for this beyond it being mentioned as an escalation if blocking the borders doesn't work.

In Vancouver they've started setting up by the pacific border crossing on highway 176, it's mostly personal vehicles at this point with only a few big trucks. They're expecting more trucks and supporters by 4am, no idea on numbers yet. It's been suggested and supported that Saturday they take the convoy to the border, though there's current disagreement about if they should do it instead of going downtown or afterwards.

Tomorrow in Ottawa there's supposed to be some kind of 'negotiations' between the government and the truckers. I'm not sure what that means exactly as it's being framed as 'the patriots' making their demands to a federal negotiator, though I can't find any government source confirming. I'm going to get back to this in a moment.

There are no direct threats that I've seen against anyone besides police, government officials, and infrastructure (roads, bridges, ports, etc). A core part of the mainstream normie side of this convoy is that they truly believe themselves to be god fearing, family loving, community minded patriots. Many of them are trying to keep large parts of the demonstrations family friendly and civic minded.

All that being said, we need to talk about these 'negotiations' that are apparently taking place tomorrow. I can't find a single news source reporting this that isn't a far right rag but it was announced by Pat King this afternoon and is being repeated all over these platforms. Maybe it's legitimate, maybe not, but the preparations being made by the explicitly nazi side of the movement is concerning.

Jeremy McKenzie (alt-right white separatist, leader of the Plaid Army) uploaded a video a few hours ago encouraging/pleading for everyone to come to Ottawa for the negotiations tomorrow. Direct quote from the description:

I'm nervous about his rhetoric right now because he's one of the biggest alt-right influencers in Canada. Maybe there's actually some government negotiator that's going to sit down and bring an end to this for the majority of the movement. Or maybe these rumors and calls to action from a violent fascist are them setting up for a huge escalation.

(I need to clarify that I know the general public's information on what fish need is very little and they are usually ignorant to what a fish actually needs and end up neglecting them, I'm talking from the perspective of someone who doesn't know and doesn't care)

He, as every child, at some point asked for a pet (probes a puppy, he seems like a dog person).

But his dad (being the abusive fuck he is) probably reacted by being mad "What the fuck do you mean a dog? Do you think we have money for a dog? Space? Time? Who's gonna pay and take care of it? You? Because I for goddam sure ain't! I have shit to do I work my ass off all day while you do nothing but lazing around!"

Some days later hid dad comes home with a fish bowl and some goldfish he won one of those festivals

Kaz is bummed out at first (his dad screams at him about being an ungrateful, spoiled cunt) but he ends up growing to like them. Kaz treasures those fish, he's really sad to see them die so quickly, but his dad keeps bringing new ones home. After all they are really cheap and easy to take care of.

Because Kaz is a fucking nerd (And ND, my Kaz has ADHD, diagnosed as a kid, but had it dismissed by his dad has some type of bullshit and grew up thinking that only affected his sleep schedule and made him more energetic, he doesn't take medication // I did say I was protecting)

He starts reading about them from books in the school library, falling in love with different species and thinking of the ones he dreams to own.

And that's how he ends up realizing how bad the fish are being taken care of.

How it's just cruel to have them in such bad conditions. When the last one dies, he tells his dad that he doesn't want to have anymore (And he gets a beating from it "you're such an ungrateful bastard, I work all dam day for you and still get you the stupid fish and this is how you pay me?")

He feels lonely without them, so he starts to read more, memorizing tons of species and how to care for them

Years later-

At Hope's Peak Academy, half way through his first year, a classmate mentions something about a specific fish.

And before they could be interrupted by a certain local edglord, Kaz beats him to it and just start info-dumping about said fish

The room is quiet

Gundham's impressed, why does the shark toothed have such vast knowledge about that?

And that becomes a bonding point for their relationship, the beginning of their turn from rivals to lovers friends

I did a challenge of drawing a bunch of Dragonball species (just the faces) and making some unique designs. I only named a few of them. They are pretty self explanatory, so I will only be commenting on the ones I liked (or didn't *AHEM* mouse-thing) The Namekian with the wig on was inspired by how you can put wigs on characters in Xenoverse 2, so I drew a Namekian with a wig.

Alchemy is my personal favorite design. I wanted to draw a male Majin character who was in shape, and I landed with a dude that looks really cool.

Lock is the female Majin I drew, and since all the female Majin NPCs in Xenoverse 2 seem to share the same bubbly personality, I really wanted to draw a female Majin who looked more like a street-smart edglord. I don't put eyebrow piercings on many characters, but I put them on this Majin because it just looks plain cool.

Firaqua is a destroyer I designed. I'll give you time to figure out that name pun (answer is at the end of this post.) I figured since we had a canine destroyer, a feline destroyer, a robot destroyer, and a fish-thing destroyer, we needed a dragon! Akira Toryama likes blending western pop-culture aspects with his own work, so I settled on a traditional western dragon design. However, I added an extra spike on the horns to reference the antlers that eastern dragons typically have. And I added so spiky hair down the back of her neck just for an extra uniqueness to her design.

Oh man. The mouse thing... Dragonball earthlings are a mix of typical humans and anthropomorphic animals. So I tried to draw an anthro. This mouse-inspired anthro didn't turn out very well... At all... I was trying to match the Dragonball style a little bit, but not too much, SO I went for a more cartoon design. Next time I will use more advanced construction lines XD

My Kai design! I wanted to do a supreme Kai for this page, so I settled on a character I had already made for me and my sister's Dimension Game role play. (Let me know if you guys are interested in learning more about that one.) This is the only drawing on this page I used reference for, as I wasn't entirely sure what the Supreme Kai's outfit was supposed to look like. She's currently a massive part of our current roleplay saga.

All right. Wasn't going to comment on all of them. But it's super unfair to comment on everybody except my Frieza Race dude. After all, that is my favorite species in Dragonball. This was the first person I drew on the page. His design is pretty nice in my opinion. Very spiky. But I don't really have a good personality for him.

(BTW Firaqua's name is a combination of 'Fire' and 'Aqua.' This is because some alcohols are referred to as 'firewater,' and since being a minor I don't know of very many types of alcohol, this was my best spur-of-the-moment idea. (For those who don't follow Dragonball, the destroyers and their attendants all have names that are a pun of alcoholic beverages.) Let me know in the comments if you figured it out, I would love to know!)

Heyyy, if you don't mind to do something stupid, can we have your most absurd ideas about characters fusions/fanchilds? :-D Mine is what Junko x Gundhum fuse will change their manner to talk like Junko does it but in range from "just a normal human being" to "The God Of Edglords", and sometimes from "just a normal human being" to "Bon-Bon, the Princess of Kingdomland of Fluffy Bunnies". And it may seems ridiculous but the longer they talk to people, the more that people are frightened of them...

This is such a fun thing to try and think about.

Also 100% I would marry a Junko X Gundham fuse pull up.
