✨Eclips Season Breakdown ✨

Hello lovelies, we've entered eclips season where we will expeirnece both a Solar Eclips in Libra on October 14th, and then on October the 28th we will experience a Lunar Eclips in Taurus. Depending on your placements and how you interact with the transit, the eclipses effects can present themsleves weeks to months in advance, as well as after its passing (usually up to 6month) What should we ecpect? With both Taurus and Libra being ruled by venus, as well, we can expect venusuain, 2nd house and 7th house activities. This means topics surrounding our money/finances, stability, comfort, socializing/groups, relations, luxury and pleasures, will be highlighted. With different aspects such as a conjunction to the South node, we can also expect themes such as past lives, baggages and lessons (or unfinished lessons) being big themes for some.

How will this affect us as a collective? Numerous of things can be expected, so here are some most likly predictions;

Increse in prices, globally. This could for exampe be more costly public transport, as that affects our relationship with the public.

A lot of crypto currency and online markets may have a boom or fall, depending on where you find yourself. For those who have invested, you may see a large reward, where as there may be some harsh dips before it picks up again due to many pulling out due to fears.

Large companies may find themsleves renegotiating contracts, having unsatified partners or other conflicts that won't see the light of day till everythings either finalized or possibly leaked pre-maturely.

Many world organizations and allienses may be going through re-negotiations, which could have tensions of conflicts, but most will be resolved peacefully while others may worsen. The only example I have of this could be similiar to Kenya pushing for Visa Free Kenya/Africa.

Fertility or sexual scandals may come out, but this may first be within the coming 4-5 months, which may be a big shock to the public. Some of it will force laws to become harsher and lawenforcement to gain more backlash.

Food development may be on a rise with, an example could be, alternative ways of growing food. A fall in import and more demand to rely on self-sufficiancy.

How will it affect us as individuals? Firstly, its important to note that this eclips season is not one I would recomend to manifest. Instead, I suggest releasing and letting go for what no longer serves you to make space for new and better things.

During such seasons, it is adviced to not start anything new, unless you already had plans (5-6 months prior), but listen to your intuition as some of us are menat to begin a new chapter that will require starting something new. For some this new begining may not be a whole new path, but the same with a difference that makes it feel new. An example could be a new job doing the same thing but now it is in a different location (think from remote work to in person or from regular employee to manager)

The solar eclips will bring new beginings in terms of relations (platonic or romantic for some) compromisation/sacrafice, openness and even some emotionalness to it.

So for the solar eclips, nothing overly explosive or life-jerking will offcure, simply big or small changes that will be within what you already know/feel comfortable within. The biggest lesson here is to let go, sacrafice (usually without a struggle( and let the universe do it's things. You may feel paranoid at first, or resistant to the change even if it is quite minor in the begining but it will sort itself out.

For the lunar eclips, the energie is much more noticable as it is the high point as we end chapters. It is high emotions, quite dramatic for some and very explosive for others (think New Years Eve). It is one that will most likly reward us due to its close conjunction to Jupiter - i.e we will be rewarded for what we have been working very hard on. There is growth and very little challange, so we will This is where many of us will experience quality over quantity, and few will ever return. The energy for this is much more selfish and will be a happy ending to something you may have been going through all year. Look to the following month cycle (every 6th month) to see if there was a reoccuring theme; April 2022, October 2022, April/May 2023. Think about what happened during those times and how life is going now to see what will be 'released' for you'.

Below are more specified areas where you may experience more shifts, just look to your Rising, sun or moon to see where you may feel these eclipses the most;

Aries The Solar Eclips will be in your 7th house, which points to themes of partnerships, collaborations and socializing. Some of you may be going through changes such as marriage, divorce or seperation. The energy around your many changes has a karmic energy (neutral), where some of you may meet a soulmate you've already been with or a new soul-connection. Thise mostly affected will have later degree Aries placement (rising, sun, moon). This may also simply indicate meeting someone and your relationship having a more spiritual nature, which will help you in the long run.

Taurus The Solar Eclips will be in your 6th house, which is the house of health and organization. This all points to a shift in how you view your health, how you take care of yourself and how you organize your life. You may find that you have had more health issues then normal or a flareup that has felt too familiary. This will push you to change - this can be eating differently, cutting out habits such as smoking, drug use etc. and wanting to simply change your routine. You may find that this will be easier done alongside someone else, so don't hesitate to get an accountability buddy. For those with 10th degree Taurus placement (rising, sun, moon) you may feel this much stronger after the Lunar eclips, where the release of what no longer serves you will give you great rewards. Oh, and some of you may be getting a new job. You will no longer be somehwere that was sucking your energy and most likly making you sick (physically and mentally).

Gemini The Solar Eclips will be in your 5th house, which will affect your love life. You may have been asked to change your outlook, idea and attitude towards relationships (including platonic relations) in order to get to where you want to be. This could also be habits (dating sights, being too passive, being overly selective or even not being picky enough). Overall, most of what you want will come without much of your intefrenece, but you need a shift of mindset. Release that and better will come replace it.

Cancer The Solar Eclips will be in your 4th house, which is the theme surrounding family and the home. Some of you may be relocating, either moving away from your childhood home, a place you made home or somewhere that no longer feels like home. Some my be reconnecting with a place or people in their lives, while others may have disputes or cutting ties with family or older friends. Your biggest lesson this eclips season is to let go of attemnets to places, people and memories in order to move smoother ahead.

Leo The Solar Eclips will be in your 3rd house, which is your social life, communication and siblings. Some of you may reconnecting with friends you havent spoken with for a whole (not necccesarily because something bad happens) Rekindeling and resuming connections may bring you a lot of clearity, new perspectives and rewards. Some of these relationsh could be closely linked with your past life.

Virgo The Solar Eclips will be in your 2nd house, which is the house of finances and security. Many of you will expericence financial shifts that will follow after the release of control, mentalities and attachments. Stepping out of comfort zones will also reward you greatly. Some may already have expeirnece that letting go of posessions or what no longer serves you (a job, an attitude towards something etc) will make room for even more. This may have been felt already, by some, but will continue for others for up to 12 months.

Libra The Solar Eclips will be in your 1st house, which is the self. This eclips will be felt by all libra placements, but significant for the Libra risings (as well as some sun and moons) a new begining is ahead. You will expeirence many chapter endings and new ones ahead, where you can expect appearence changes, alongside habits and mindset shifts. Imagine a snake shedding it's skin, that is you, and you are entering an era that you've been slowly walking towards. Those who aren't there yet, you will be guided towards it in due time. Remember that there is no start without the space for one, so releasing is crucial. Many may find themsleves feeling this within their social life (so, you may change who you associate yourself with, how you are in public (moving in silence is big)).

Scorpio The Solar Eclips will be in your 12th house, which indicates that many will have revelations and letting go of a lot that doesnt serve them. MALAWI EXPORTS YOUTH TO ISRAEL A controversial deal to send Malawi youth to work on farms in Israel has been slammed by human rights groups. Around 200 were flown to Middle East county at the weekend to plug a labour shortage after thousands of Palestinians had their work permits revoked. The Human Rights Defenders Coalition blasted the ‘secrecy’ surrounding terms of the agreement that's been called ‘evil’ by Malawi opposition leader Kondwani Nankhumwa. He said no sane parent could send their child to a country at war. So why is the Malawi government doing this? Maybe it has something to do with the $60m aid package it received from Israel two weeks ago? Officially, Malawi’s government says it’s a way to create jobs for its youth and will continue to send workers to Israel and other countries. The polite term is ‘bilateral labour agreements’ - but isn’t this just a posh phrase for exploitation? Kenya has done similar deals in the past with Germany and Saudi Arabia and has been criticised for it. There’s been a backlash online to Malawi’s latest move, including this post. Lots of people seem to agree with this woman's outrage. Do you?

hi! so I have been waiting for someone to ask me this omg!!! currently cracking my knuckles opening up my laptop to answer this one

curriculum

so! essentially the main thing here is whether your high-school diploma is enough for university study, i.e: is it qualified as a Hochschulzugangsberechtigung, HZB. I did the International Baccalaureate diploma, and based on the curriculum (and subjects chosen) you have studied, the route will be different for you. the German curriculum is of course best for studying there, but the IGCSE one is solid too. I am not sure for others, I live in kenya, so the main education systems are the Kenyan one, IB, and the Cambridge IGCSE one. best websites to use to figure out how to get there are as follow. DAAD is based on anabin, but anabin is from the culture ministers conference (the OG guys of deciding this study)

the main categories are:

a. diploma valid in both country of education + Germany

b. diploma valid in only country of education, not germany

field of study

based on your choice for your field, and also bachelors, masters or phd, all play a role. stem courses will generally not be taught in English, and you will just have to know German, if you want to study stem. unless you can find a specific international university, there are almost no courses (I could not find even one pure physics course in English) for stem in English. if there are, you will probably compromise on quality of education.

humanities courses are taught in English, so if you go into literature, business, psychology, economics, hotel management, etc. there are plenty of courses at very very good universities.

public universities are usually the best in Germany, have relatively low tuition (recently introduced in some uni's for international students) and are extremely high in quality.

what I am doing rn

my diploma went into category b, above. despite getting above average IB points, being a student with tons of extracurriculars, the subjects I took, along with the general regard of the IB diploma in Germany resulted in my situation.

I have to do a studienkolleg (a foundation course for international students). in order to apply for a stem oriented course, as I am going into physics (women in stem!!), I need a studienkolleg, and in order to go into the studienkolleg, I need B2 German.

I have essentially taken a year off (may 2023 - sept 2024) to figure out how I am getting there. I started German in September 2024, after figuring out I need to know it + I need a foundation. everyone online has said you can't learn a foreign language in a year - do not listen to them, it is entirely possible, difficult, but honestly doable.

so yeah! ask if you have any other questions. despite all this, the reason I want to study there is quality of education in relation to tuition, the job market, the benefits for international students, and the quality of life.

elegy of a sort. Of loneliness. Life. Fire. Dogs don't have a home. And paying respects. Online. And only knowing through the same means. To an end. In this life. And death.

An older guy at the place I was once employed. He passed away. In an accidental fire. Which is sad in of it self. But the more bizarre things was that he passed away on the anniversary of the death of another employee. Who left this world in a much more tragic fashion. Because it happened in an on the job accident. And he was younger. Just getting started. Just beginning. Son of christian missionaries. Born in kenya or borneo or another foreign country where his parents were going to spread the word. And he had problems maybe. Mental health issues and the company tried to blame his death on that. Labeling it a suicide. But it wasn't and all of the other employees knew it. He was just so full if life and so positive that kid. With his curled hair and his mustache. And maybe he reminded you of will Ferrell or someone like him. Loud voice and infectious laugh. I didn't know him very well. Being more to myself. And mahbe just not working with him all that much. Being a more one on one person and cant really talk in those groups of people. But he did always have a smile and he did always have that enthusiam. For the new job he had. I am the mighty gandalf. The might warriors of middle earth. we are ready to work. We are ready to conquer this job today. How about it everybody. Lets get out there and have some fun. In his goofy but infectious grin because he had the love for comic and fantasy stories. In a lovable teddy bear way. Which make it even worse. But it was a choatic work envirnoment. Forcing you to do things maybe you werent ready for. Maybe he shouldnt have been operating the heavy equipment we have up there. Maybe he was goofy and simple in a way. But it wasn't the reason for this death. It was because of faulty equipment or an accident where he pushed the gas instead of brake. But i won't get into all of that here. Because you were out of the country when it happened. You were with your long distance girlfriend. Having your own set of problems. In a hotel room. With your asexual self. Watching television. Looking at your phone. With your girlfriend snoring next to you. In the lovers suite. But thats a conversation for another day. But you were shocked when you saw it in the group chat for work when you were in that other country. . And while you didnt know him as well as some other people knew him as they tried to save his life on that day. As it took its toll. And it was trauma. And they had councelors. And people were consoling the family.

And in memorial on facebook pages. Where you did see how he was. The person you didnt know. God is love. Thats why you have to treat everyone the same. And women deserve the same respect because they are your friends. And he would talk about things like that. That you read in his memorial page and he would show those fantasy books that he liked and video games. Just a regular kid really until he was struck down by that on the job accident and it was in the news as the company tried to blame him. Saying it was suicide. And the parents were forced to sue because they didnt have a choice. And recently they had a remembrance at a comedy club. That you didnt attend because you were in exile because of a girl you shouldnt have been messing with anyway. But once gain thats another story. So lets just say. I had contentious relationshop with some of the people up there. Even though you cared and you had love for him in your own way maybe. In your own alienated and marginal on the edges kind of way. But I knew the Anniversary of his death was coming up. And the anniversary of your relationship with your long distance girlfriend. As that realtionship was falling apart. So maybe you forgot until yesterday. And It hit home again. And I don't know if the date of his death. The younger kid had anything to do with it. Maybe he knew the beautiful kid and soul.

But there was another guy. Older. Goatee. Kept to himself. Had been there for years. And you didnt know him well either. Which now you are beating yourself up about. Because you became more friends with him online. After you left and were in exile and were having contentious with her and other co workers and her friends. But he liked your posts. And you had things in common. And you always wanted to have a conversation with him and your lockers were near each other and you would say hello and maybe he was a little gruff. But you knew he was a good person because one time when you were sitting in the break room being silent and aloof. He gave a young girl. He gave her a violin. I'm not using it anyway. I haven't used it in years. But if you need to get lessons I could help you. I wouldn't mind at all. And precocious girl. Red hair. Pasty. Pale. Worked in operations. Baggy clothing. Traveling by herself. Glasses. A bit like velma. From scooby doo. But generalization. But intelligent girl. Who just wanted to leaen. Telling him. You know sometimes you just want to learn something. Society puts all this preasure to be good at something and making money and sometimes you just want to do it for fun you know. She told him because they had a friendship. And you saw him in a different way then and maybe her too. Who you would become frienda only on facebook later on. after you had left. After you had gone into exile.

But you saw him differently then. You know he read books. Would see them left on the counter and in the breakroom and you would try to find out who he was reading. It couldnt just be you. You werent the only one. Thinking your special. When you werent. Because it was mostly working class environment. And just the way it was. And maybe he was eccentric. Kept to himself. But you found out he was witty and erudite and interesting. Posting thoughtful things. As you had things in common that you didnt know. That you found out. And it made it all the worse. When you learned he had passed away on the same day that the other beautiful kid. Full of life had passed away almost a year to the day from it. Maybe he had some issues that you couldnt see.

But it happened in a fire. At his house. Where he was living by himself. Maybe he didnt have a wife and he didnt have kids. But he knew people. And he was connected to people. Some of the older friends, veterans of this life, who he works with. And he would like your posts when nobody else did and maybe that didnt matter and maybe its petty but it didnt matter to me. It did mean somethjng to you. And maybe its also because he reminded you of your uncle. Your eccentric hoarder uncle. I mean my uncle was more. Country in a way. Wearing suspenders and cowboy boots with long hair bald and maybe your uncle had more problems . Had alcohol and drugs problems and would smoke cigarettes and pass out from pain pills down in the armpit of this country with oil refineries and bombed out empty downtown. Down in the swamps where. A reporter in a small oil town. Drunk and going to the waffle house. And talking to the old folks. In there. Hiding his problems with hoarding and cockroaches and his cat smoky the bandit. Hunting for mice in his destroyed apartment. And flood waters and from the shit of his life. As you would put out his cigarette buts and steal his pills. While he nodded off like a junky and you thought he would always die in some fire of his own making but I didnt never happen by some kind of miracle and hears this guy who reminded you of our uncle maybe because they were erudite. And well read. And memorized poems but were good people with problems and loneliness. But with good hearts. But lived in silence maybe not my uncle so much. You dont drink coffee what's wrong with you. As we sat at the wafflehouse. You have to get grown. As you drank juice or ice tea. And we argued the merits. Of coffee. As your uncle bought the same shit.the same shirt and pants over and over again. As they stacked up with the cock roaches. in that run down and empty oil town. On the coast. But he should have died. But wouldnt wish it. From cigarette butt he didnt. maybe why it hit you as hard as it did. As you cried inthe shower. For an older guy who you didnt really know who you had just really knew through online and social media. But for some reason it did mean something to you but didnt exactly know why it hit you as hard as it did. But it still did. Maybe because you could see your uncle in that fire. And you could see yourself in that fire maybe in the same way. Alone in my own apartment. Lonely living. Trying to live a good life and having problems but surviving. At the bowling alley. Or reading fantasy books. Or nodding off with cigarette burn holes in your stylish shirt. and fedora like your uncle. And like that missionary kid who died so beautiful as well. Dont know why these thing happen the way they do. Hard to tell. maybe it was suicide. maybe a cry for help. As his dog's survived that fire and you gave money to go fund me page. And as you sat in dark in your bed. Maybe thinking on problems with long disrance girlfriend and the other girl. That you left from. Cheating. personal problems. That you deserve misery that you get. And receive. And something like that as you sat in darkness. . .

And maybe you Been reading some old anglo saxon literature. A selection of it. From back in the day. The dreaded anglo. The colonial saxon. The hoard. the barbarian. Running king Arthur and those Irish monks out of town. Something like that. But they have good stories and poetry. Riddles. And fiery sermons with dragons and the fates. Of another time and age. But these questions of life and death they still apply today. No matter what what I time or age. Just like parable and stories.from Yoruba of Africa. Or stories of genghis khan. Or native american rabbit stories. Still have some meaning in this day and age. Of electricity and loneliness. And problems. Maybe even have more meaning just showing how things were at a different time and ages. But some of the poetry from the dreaded anglo. Books. Of war. And gods. Love. Dreams. Monsters. Some of the poetry some of them were elegies. And were about fates. Like you might not never know what can happen when you step out the door because your life has been fated. From that first step out the door. The gods have already willed it long before you were born. If you believe in the more fatalistic notions that those saxon and those viking adhered to. But all cultures are different and some have other ways of thinking. Like india. And celts maybe more with continous rebirth. Or china and japan and the instinct. Taoist thought. Ancient egypt. Sun. Ra. Weighing of soul feather. Or the master which you cannot see. But they all see it myriad but the same. Because its all birth and cycle and stages of this life.

Or sometimes one takes his own life. In a fire.

Or in addiction.

With these quwstions in which you will never know.

Maybe it was already fated by the gods.

And there is. Nothing you can do about it

It has already been decreed.

By the one eyed god of magic and darkness

And those furies.

These very meaningless thing of life.

Random occurences.

Like somebody you didnt know.

Wanted to talk to.

But then struck up a connection.

Then they perished in a fire.

Just way it happens.

Just the way it goes down.

Such as the god willed it

In a hot desert.

Who couldnt tell me

I&M Bank Uganda is a commercial bank headquartered at Kampala Road plot 6/6A with a growing regional presence. The Bank offers a wide range of commercial banking and financial products and services, and prides itself on introducing innovative products and services based on the needs of its customers. Job Summary: To build, cultivate and support business relationships with potential/existing customers and translate those relationships into profitable business for the Bank. Roles and responsibilities: - Source new business both digital banking and insurance from walk in clients within the bank. - Contribute to the formulation and implementation of strategies necessary to reactivate dormant /inactive accounts and sustain existing accounts. - Identify customer needs and proactively seek to provide products/ services to meet the identified needs. - Receive customer instructions, enquiries such as Standing Order, Instant Statement, Stopped Cheque/Account, Safe Deposit applications and deliver them to relevant staff for processing. - Build and consolidate pleasant relationship with the bank’s customers and maintain good disposition towards all customers to ensure the Bank retains the existing accounts. - Liaise with bank staff to facilitate customer service delivery and to reduce service delivery bottlenecks. - Regularly contact customers via telephone calls to obtain feedback on service quality and customer satisfaction levels. - Always contact customer timely to pick their ATM cards and cheque books when delivered at the branch. - Attend to all customer inquiries/requests; guide customers and liaise with the different functions to ensure customer satisfactions. - Identify service improvement opportunities through interaction with customers and communicate improvement recommendations to the relevant functions. - Manage access to the Customer Service desk such that access is restricted to prospective account holders and customers to prevent leakage of information to strangers. - Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and issues. - Assist customers in the account opening process based on compliance and KYC procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Education Qualification: First degree in any field or its equivalent in any relevant discipline. Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a banking industry.
