The mutant ladies - Magik, Dani Moonstar, Dust, Marrow and surprisingly Typhoid Mary are stranded in the fantasy land (which I can't be bothered to remember its name) since they were forced to walk out of the Krakoan Gate under Xavier's mind control. The ladies follow the man into the library where they find out why they are there. They see the statues of Dust, Dani Moonstar, Marrow and even Typhoid Mary in the library. Magik is annoyed about being left out. According to the man, the mutant ladies are the saviors from the weird prophecy shit in this fantasy land. Before anyone could ask questions, they hear the noise going on outside. The village has been under attack by giant eagles. The mutant ladies try their best to fight the birds off and save the villagers but the little boy gets snatched by the giant eagle.
Meanwhile, Curse the mutant brat is somewhere else when she sees the flock of giant eagles and one of them is carrying a boy. Curse yells at the birds to put the boy down but she gets slashed on the arm, causing her to invoke her curse at the eagles. The de-feathered eagles and the boy fall into the water. Unfortunately, the boy gets dragged to the waterfall. Curse tries to help the boy but he is out of reach. Curse seemingly helps" the boy by yelling at him to "Go Home", causing the boy to get teleported back to the village. With the boy's mysterious teleportation, Magik knows that Curse is alive and somewhere else. However, Curse's wish of goodwill causes her to be in pain that she cries from it. Then, Curse sees Saturnyne appear to her and the witch hugs her, claiming that she would ease her pain.

The marriage of Doug Ramsey and Bei the Blood Moon
From Excalibur v3 #14, written by Tini Howard, art by Phil Noto (who does draw a very pretty Doug Ramsey)
As part of the ongoing contest between Krakoa and Arrako, being held on Otherworld and hosted by Opal-Luna Saturnyne, Doug Ramsey aka Cypher, the most surprising member of Krakoa's "Ten of Swords" team, (as he is neither swordsman nor trained warrior) is worried when he is told that he is part of only the second challenge... having just seen Captain Britain lose a sword fight with Isca the unbeaten

And so...

And this is where (and Doug) find out that the battles are not always going to be sword fights!

Cue a random dragon attack (Long story, not relevant)

And they lived happily ever after!
(Well, they're still together (more or less) two years later, which is better than most comic book weddings)
And yes, Doug's most important relationship up until this point was with his selfsoulfriend Warlock, in a relationship based on friendship and a mutual and absolute love for each other (which has no real world equivalent given they literally merge mind, body and soul), but he has been consistently romantically attracted to women as well so our boy has always been a full blown panromantic/lord-alone-knows-what-sexual!

Noy howdy that sure is a ton of exposition... Necrom is the same race as Merlyn, and was their sorcerer supreme, and they have pretty much been playing chess with each other over like... all of reality for eons... also we are learning Merlyn is much less benevolent than he has been shown to be in the past...

I want to see Saturnyne in BB:CB just for a little bit. Just to have a scene between her and Rachel.
When you think about it, Rachel has everything that Saturnyne wishes she had: she’s a singular power in the multiverse, and has the love of Captain Britain Prime and the loyalty of the Corps.
It seems pretty clear that Askani should be ranked as the Omniversal Guardian now that the other three have been deposed. There was a lot of talk about “swearing the sword to whomever I choose” and in the end, Betsy chose Rachel.
