After a while of silence, I can finally share what I was working on!

I've been wanting to do a "times of the day" piece like this for ages, always been very intimidated by the idea, but I'm glad I finally got the balls to do it. This was incredibly fun and has me craving more pieces where I experiment with color a little or put characters in real scenes.

Feels good I feel like I'm really proving I'm getting better at this whole art thing.

Byeah, fun little bw piece with a JJK AU design of Oren! I love brainstorming au's, the only downside is I end up with baller designs I have little excuse to draw.

Just for funsies, here's the full sketch-page of Oren's curse evolution. It says I couldn't justify a special grade label, but the council later decided that human-level intelligence itself is a special grade trait. His design is based on the life cycle of a salamander :)

Day 30: Magic! There's a lot of magic to be had round here, and most of it's pretty bad, but at least someone knows how to have fun with a few little tricks.

Water magic is probably Oren's favourite, it's just very easy and safe to play with all you want!

I wanted to contrast the past piece, so here's a glimpse into Lucero's future. It contains a lot of those important, sweetly mundane moments with people who actually care for every part of him.

Finally read Witch Hat Atelier, and I'm really in love with many aspects of it but the style and really weird animals are definitely noteworthy. So, while thinking of OC au's, I designed a bunch of WHA inspired creatures based on my OCs.

Day 6 was Symbol! I wasn't... really sure what to do for this........ I realized later there was an easy thing I coulda drawn, but I'd already drawn this.

Oh yeah, last drawing of 2023 was a quick style experiment. Been reading Dorohedoro and the inside of my brain is stuck in that style, so I tried a quick experimental doodle. Might do some other guys, who know, it's fun although tedious.
