I recently had my first ever experience of selling plushies in person at TetZooCon! I shared a table with Palaeoplushies, since I only had a moderate sized batch of my own to sell. Was lots of fun! Actually getting to see people enjoying their new plushies and carrying them around for the rest of the event was incredibly enriching!!

Managed to find bird seeds (which are sold out everywhere because usually snow is melting in April!!!!), tallow "sausages" are easier to find 🪶 this is 8,2kg food for birds I was not able to bring home more with my bicycle 🚲

Also same day got thylacine (from @palaeoplushies) which is not for birds to eat

I was not expecting it to be so velvety feeling #might need to go back for a few loaches #but then I will be on their website again and that is DANGEROUS #they came with cute little hand-signed tags but I forgot to put them in the picture #had to wait for toddler and baby to be distracted by reading time to even attempt this picture #this is the first time in 24 hours toddler has let the ichthyosaur out of his grasp #also #IMPORTANT NOTE #the ichthyosaur flies like a MISSILE it is so straight and fast and satisfying to hurl around #peak aerodynamics #the pleco... not so much #it's okay I still love you my ugly son

Pattern from @palaeoplushies

This was quite the project! The pattern was a bit more complex then I'm used to, and I've never painted fleece, or any fabric for a project before! I made quite a few mistakes WHY ARE YOU PIGEON TOED?! but I think the end project looks good enough! Believe it or not this is the half size version, I can't imagine how big the original size must be!

Appreciation for the stripes (made from watered down dnd mini paints >_>, waste not want not)
