How does my customer think and feel?

They enjoy a cozy, comfortable and inviting home atmosphere for themselves, friends, family and of course, their doggo. They are most preoccupied with dogs, social media, family/friends and work. The worry about being rejected or not fitting in. They aspire to be instagrammable, socially acceptable and 'cool'.

What does my customer hear?

Their friends are talking about reality TV (think Bravo), where the hippest place to grab a drink is, funny memes and their dog. Dog influencers are all about entertainment: getting dressed up, celebrating holidays, drag shows, fashion, drinks and dinner on the town and unboxing. They are good boys and girls thriving on pawsitivity.

What does my customer see?

They're living in the world of chic minimalism, still rocking millennial pink, sweatshirts, organic goodies, buying local, reusable cups etc, also doubling as plant mommies. Their friends like to go shopping, have coffee at the dog park, decompress at the thrift store. The market offers custom portraits of their dog on Etsy, often continuous line drawing or simple line with colour done on a digital platform. There are comic/cartoon/clipart images for sale on multiple platforms, some purchasable as prints.

What does my customer say and do?

In public they are confident, trendy and casual - they approach the world with cool indifference and mild curiosity. They love their dog! They wear trendy, branded clothes or vintage/thrifted threads. They are kind to others, friendly without sharing too much.

Reason for selecting elephant

In my opinion, the elephant is the ideal choice for the main character in this video due to its inherent strength and power. His natural intelligence and physical prowess contribute to his suitability as a heroic character. Moreover, the elephant's artistic body structure and posture, characterized by its plumpness and cheerful facial expression, lend it an endearing and heroic appearance. Additionally, the elephant's symbolic association with good luck and fortune reinforces his positive portrayal. To enhance the visual interest and engagement of an elephant character, I am incorporating human-like traits into its design. My research has revealed that such characters are termed anthropomorphic.

Project Plan

I'm embarking on an exciting project—a captivating animated video dedicated to wildlife preservation. In this imaginative creation, a fictional character will take center stage, which will make the story more exciting and interesting for the audience. This character will be an Anthropomorphic Character. Through this character, I want to tell a strong message about the importance of animals and nature. This endeavor blends creativity and purpose to weave a compelling narrative for the cause of protecting our precious ecosystems. The initial idea for the project was brought from the basic sketch of an elephant back in 2022.

Reading @pawsitivevibe’s post on warm-ups got me thinking about how to implement them into our routine.

Living the apartment life means we have a lot of neighbor dogs—many of them on the smaller side and very reactive. Which makes it hard to hold Aspen’s attention when we’re out.

I’m going to try implementing some simple warm-ups before the morning walk and see if that’ll help put Aspen in a more engaging mindset
